we know about how rody feels about his dad, but we don't really know how he feels about his mom! we know that she died shortly after lala's birth (since lala has gotta be around 5, this would mean that he was probably around 11-12 when it happened.) eddie appreciated rody's help with the kids, so we can insinuate that, maybe, instead of processing her death, he chose to prioritize his siblings.

much like how, after eddie disappeared, he. made his siblings his priority. not that that's a bad thing, mind you! but something to note.

with that in mind: how do you think a potential interaction between rody and inko would go?

I mean, Rody isn't really the type of person to allow him to feel too much (he does though, but he's used to setting his own emotions aside for xyz). It's probable that after his mom died, instead of allowing himself to properly grieve, he tried to become the strong one and help out his dad with his siblings. Now I whole heartedly believe Eddie was a good father and tried to tell Rody it was okay to grieve, but Rody just kept going. He will prioritize anything over himself. He's just so selfless like that :(
