Another note I forgor to mention is I love how after hearing Simon go "it's enough to make your hair turn white" about Martin's office in s4 many of us collectively agreed his hair turned white because of his association with the Lonely. The shared consciousness is real and we use it to play hot potato with the communal brain cell dedicated to the sillies.

also in the face of people deleting their blogs, that's another reason why you guys are supposed to reblog stuff. if somebody deletes a post, your liked version will disappear, but the reblogs remain. i'm insane about preservation and archival, every single piece of art i have ever enjoyed is reblogged on my 450k+ posts main account so if the artists leave I still have their work. i even tag things (though just with the main fandom tag) so I have years and years worth of fanworks saved that the terrible general site search will never show you.

please reblog art. not just to support the artists who make it and share their efforts, but also so you have your own copy of their works saved for yourself, and the future users of this site.

If you want my Honest Opinion, while I agree with the sentiment you should get out of your comfort zone and interact and befriend people outside of your friend circle because That’s How Communities Work, if you find yourself getting earnestly distressed over the prospect of people not interacting with your content, that’s a sign you should probably take a step back for your sake. Being in the selfship community shouldn’t be a chore to you, and it especially shouldn’t be actively making your mental and/or emotional state worse

sleep deprived dust can't recognize what's dream and what's real when he goes in and out of consciousness so i think dust is allowed to be incredibly reckless when he's awake but thinks he's in a dream. he will kill whoever passes by him (or attempt to. for him it's an instict to shoot bones anyways.) he will drink 4 bottles of alcohol just because he thinks its just a lucid dream. have incredibly loud conversations with phantom paps because he's asleep so nobody will hear him talk. or just have loud ass breakdowns because again he thinks he's asleep!!! nobody's gonna know what he gets up to in his dreams. and until someone (probably phantom paps) tells him that he's not asleep and this is reality he won't realize until he's done something really reckless

horror is seconds away from exploding dust's skull open with his magic while dust is trying to strangle him and FINALLY phantom paps tells him he's awake and dust snaps out of it. killer is walking around the house with bones sticking out of him like pins on a sewing pattern (casually too. another day in the life for him) and he just asks dust what that was about. dust just gets off of horror and shrugs his shoulders with an idk. and then walks away. this is the 6th time its happened this month

As soon as he works out it's not ghoul related, Amon closes the window. He doesn't wanna hear this shit.

Itori doesn't know who Louise is, but wants to. She sounds like a party. Recognises the subtle slur of inebriated angry women.

Hide is a little averse to arguments, as is Ken. The former doesn't enjoy hearing others' misery, and the latter finds it a bit triggering.

Neighbourly arguments are a goldmine for Eto. If it isn't gossip, it's inspiration for her novels.

Nishiki acts like he's above it, but when he hears that Mr Neighbour has been shagging everything on the street he's listening.

When it sounds like the neighbours aren't tiring themselves out, Yomo will knock doors. Mostly to get them to stfu, but also to make sure everything's ok (especially if the neighbour has kids in the house).

Tsukiyama has missed out on the experience of noisy neighbour fights ☹️

Roma, Suzuya, Uta and Nico are out on the street feet away from the quarrelling couple encouraging them. They choose sides too.

Touka is a slams-the-window-loudly kinda person. If she wanted to listen to bullshit, she'd have stayed at work.

Saiko sleeps through the entire thing, but wonders why her neighbour is camped out in their car the next morning.

All the uncertainty about Astarion’s age due to the numbers on his headstone very possibly being incorrect absolutely fucking tortures the mortician in me: errors on monuments are sometimes a thing and they fucking SUCK, especially when the error is incorrect dates of birth or death - families understandably tend to get really upset about that sort of thing: what do you mean you put the wrong day or year of birth? That day each year was so special to us when he lived! What do you mean you put the wrong date of passing? We’ll never forget the day that he left us, but it obviously means nothing to you if you can’t even bother to confirm the date yourself!

Errors sometimes mean the monument company is eating the cost of providing an entirely new one to the family (rightly so) and they’re not cheap, and they take a decent amount of time to make so it’s not like there’ll be a replacement ready in the next week or two. No. It can take months to finalize a new one and arrange for it to be placed, and in the meantime the one with the error is just… there for everyone to see, robbing the deceased of the simple dignity of having their correct age - the span of their entire life - displayed.

So what gets me - what reaaaally gets me in regard to Astarion’s headstone, is that if it is in fact incorrect, it has been incorrect for around two centuries, meaning no one who knew him in life noticed the error - or cared to have it fixed. It also serves as one further little cosmic “fuck you” to Astarion: a reminder that he matters so little that no one even gave a shit that the permanent monument over his resting place in the cemetery had a glaring error on it.

He neither seems to notice or care during the graveyard scene because he’s got other (better) things on his mind, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t be annoyed about it.
