(late) painting for day 7 of dr. carmilla week. prompt was death, but she's more of an un-dead type gal, so i tried to draw her alive(ish) in an empty grave.

So I was looking at Victor's name to see exactly what the name inhaled winner and conqueror which of course I chose the name for a reason cuz I felt like Vlad would choose that but there was also personality traits that I found associated with the name so here's that The name Victor is often associated with several personality traits, including emotional resilience, loyalty, protectiveness, and competitiveness.

I think Victor is the perfect name, honestly. I can see Vlad giving him that name kinda offhandedly, without much thought other than his expectations for his new weapon, or I can see Victor getting frustrated and upset he doesn’t have name so he picks one out himself. Which would be the first step of distancing himself from Vlad.

Extremely important point!! I also feel like the ability to provide feedback on incorrect subtitles is a functionality that has to exist in a way that is immediately visible and easy to use. Many many streaming services I use don't have intuitive ways to give feedback on the quality of their captioning, or simply lack the ability to report issues with videos that aren't related solely to playback or technical issues.

I, a hearing person who likes subtitles just as a preference, shouldn't have to read a subtitle that's obvious nonsense, go back a couple seconds, and listen again in order to figure out what's going on. An accessibility feature should not be the most half-assed part of a professionally made production. Scripted media has absolutely no excuse for not having subtitles or having subtitles that aren't perfectly verbatim. Professional captioning services should be ashamed of the shoddy work that they put out. Captions should be treated as a part of the production, just like filming, editing, audio balancing, etc - and anything that releases with missing or bad captions should be seen as unfinished
