So yes I have OF COURSE read @naffeclipse new fic Apex Polarity and yes, I AM OBSESSED!

So I decided to make a little comic of how I think their "first encounter" might have looked like from Eclipse's perspective.

I can't help but think about how alien and scary we most look to him (especially if there is a history of fasco hunting polar sirens in the past). With all that gear we look like emotionless beings, just observing and uncaring of this ice world. But then when y/n shows up and probably exudes this joy and wonder for his world + shows respect for the creatures and the environment??? Mmh yeah, I can see Eclipse falling for y/n, especially considering how alone he might be...

So yes, that's what I have for today! If you want to read the fic I'll link it right here. I can't recommend it enough, but as always, read the tags so you know what you're getting into! And lastly I also want to @themeeplord beacuse Eclipse's design is basically their design in my style (god I love their design so much, their character/creature designs are the BEST) so all the credit goes to them! so I finished side order recently

#splatoon #pearl houzuki #agent 8 #marina ida #acht mizuta #my stuff #inktober piece 2 :)#shoutout to my brother who reminded me i could replay the credits whenever because i had to get some extra refs for eight's model #and saved me from having to slog up the tower again #now if only splatoon could do that for every cutscene eh. please #i want to relive a lot of cutscenes and youre killing me for it splatoon #anyway did you know splatoon's official art has. well it wildly varies from piece to piece #they all follow like a very loose guidelines but also they all split off into their own things half the time #me with seven tabs of art trying to figure out if i want to do lines to separate pearl's fingers: so this one has lines but this one doesnt #'this one isnt relevant to this issue all fingers are splayed'#so in the end i just did whatever i wanted. i think that's a core tenet of art. do whatever you want. forever #also spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out what was etched into marina's headphones #im 98% sure it is the off the hook logo. but nothing save from booting up splatoon and checking myself would say for sure #and i didnt wanna boot up splatoon cause if i did then id inevitably be down a couple hours because 'oh well im here already. one run maybe'#but regardless!! im proud of how this came out even if i was supposed to have finished two days ago to keep with my schedule #especially the bg :) i think i did really good on that.#and eight's little smile i think thats the charm point of the whole piece and it took me about ten drafts to get it properly #i think i did good on that too.#im so enamored with splatoon rn help

you know it's bad when i read svsss and tgcf, stories about just two guys falling in love and getting together, and think, "god i wish i were in between them."

gay little domestic cottage core life with binghe and qingqiu? please and thank you. being sandwiched by hua cheng and xie lian, two pretty men who are hundreds of years old? i am blushing, kicking my feet and giggling

and again, it's not even that i would want only one of them. like in both of the relationships, the two love each other too much to the point it'd feel wrong if they were separated! it wouldn't feel complete, so you gotta be with both of them!

but that's the thing; i just?? i feel so incredibly guilty whenever i think about being loved by these mxtx couples??? like it's so stupid but i feel like i'm intruding in on something and it's like, everyone else seems to just want them together only, not wanna be with them. like it's fuckin taboo or whatever

i feel like with any other character from any other media it'd be fine to simp for and write/read x readers of them, but when it comes to these books, it's off limits! no way, what are you, crazy? yes, yes i'm unhinged and desperately want their love and affection simultaneously. i want to be in a happy little poly relationship with these overpowered beautiful men with long hair.

Biggest complaint about the DBD series is for sure the fact that they swapped the boys' charming tree house base for some random ass flat in London. Why would they do that. I want them to live in a treehouse and by default be cottagecore gays

BUT IT'S 7PM!!!!!#fresno oilers.txt #also at work we have this college freshman who is u know very female college freshman still learning how to advocate for herself #and that she's allowed to take up space in this world. i am sure many of my people who were women in college know what i mean #and she had been doing this task for like 4 hours and i said hey has anyone checked on r lately and everyone said why would we do that #and i said. bc she has been doing a task for 4 hours and no one has seen her???#and they were like oh she knows she can takes breaks #i was like i guarantee she is too scared to do that. so i went and asked if she wanted me to get her water or a snack or anything #and she was like oh. i'm allowed to take breaks. um i'm gonna go get a snack. and she ran to the breakroom #i was like GUYS!!!!!! but then i remembered i'm the oldest by like over a decade except for some of the supervisors and the managers #so i couldn't even really get that mad bc it was like well this is just stuff you learn from being old #like no one comes out of the gate thinking huh i better check on my young coworker who doesn't know she's allowed to exist #as a human with needs such as ''snack'' or ''break''#anyway. every shift i learn something new about humanity. today a finance bro told me he had a hole in his arm #i said why do you have a hole in your arm #and he said oh i got tased. and i said why did you get tased. and he said oh me and my friends were tasing each other #and i said why did you and your friends just casually have a taser #and he said oh we found it. so we decided to try it out on each other. you get used to being tased after a couple rounds.#and the housekeeper told me to go fish beer cans out of the trash and i was so grateful to have an exit to that conversation
