it’s often painfully apparent if someone truly cares about dsmp as an actual story and or if they’re JUST a stan of a real life content creator who was on it, because the latter will always find a way to have the most exhaustingly boring and reductive takes.

they’ll completely ignore any actual character building that took place in order to project their feelings about the cc’s onto every character. which gives them a bizarrely skewed view of characters actions and motivations.

I think one of the most vital parts of any curse of Strahd campaign is that when you're establishing the dynamic between your Strahd and Rahadin they both have to be at least a little weird about it

#There are other important things of course #but you absolutely cannot make the relationship between these guys normal #One way or another you have to make them weird. For the drama. For the tension. Gravity Falls has a weird magnet, yes, and it dragged in Stanford in a way. He was curious and wanted to study anomalies...

But Gravity Falls somehow dragged Stanley in as well, even if it was through Stanford, I think that ought to mean something.

Like Mabel and Dipper went to Gravity falls- Dipper has his little birthmark and I suppose Mabel was a little too silly (which is lovely).

Then what makes Stanley Pines an anomoly? Maybe something to do with how he wasn't supposed to be born..

I've spoken a lot about how much I'm enjoying the Trigun Fandom but one thing I think outsiders need to know is that Main character Vash the Stampede is so frequently interpreted as trans that people on AO3 often tag "vash has a penis" on smutworks where he has one, as failing to do so has resulted in what is colloquially known as "penis jumpscares" mid-woohoo
