Content warning (light) : Experiments / Abuse / Body and eye horror tw(?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The album cover is sick as hell, I initially thought it was skeletal parts, but it looks the most like an MRI scan showing a brain with a lot of abnormalities, including signs of head trauma.
The most profound detail I found in the "brain" is the dark spots.
Tumblr media
Dark spots in the brain are usually the result of a brain lesion, a permanently damaged area of the brain usually caused by injury, infections, exposure to certain chemicals, etc. General trauma.
If it's someone's brain, I suspect it's Till's brain. aside from Luka, he has been through the worst of the Alien's mistreatment since he was a child, under Urak's (the bastard's) care he had been exposed to much abuse. The sheer harshness and hostility of Urak's "training" make it obvious why he was probably one of the only pets to withstand it all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Life-long injury in some form is surely a given to me. Seeing as it's already been mentioned that because of Urak's abuse, his pets rarely make it to the end because of the mental issues they had developed, and experiments can kill them before they even make it to the stage.
Tumblr media
Back to the brain, it has a lot of abnormalities (especially in its appearance). I can't explain much, I'm not a neurologist. But based on the research I did the the most damage seems to be near the Frontal lobe and the Precentral gyrus.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
source source source
This could explain Till's already implied mental problems, one of them (In my opinion) being some form of dissociation, round 6 was the most telling as his behavior was out of sorts having been broken down he changed drastically, throughout the whole round he was emotionally distant, i'd probably describe it as him being in a daze.
And his hallucination of Mizi during the karaoke scene could be a symptom of that to ease out of the moment.
(I also see that as more of a coping mechanism for Till, but I'm taking it into account for this since it's likely.)
Tumblr media
Experiments always looked intense, I wonder just what chemicals and substances he was exposed to, in one of the opening scenes of CURE we're shown what looks to be DNA splitting, or duplicating? there could be a multitude of reasons for that. But it makes me curious just how deep this goes, and how much it affected Till. There is a lot of things about him that could be explained with Urak's presence in his life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having his brain tampered with to such a degree, I think we'll start to see the horrific effects come to light here soon.

The argument in 2x5 of iwtv is of course iconic. But it also shows that we actually get so little of the true Loumand dynamic and as much as Armand is a manipulating queen, they actually have shared a lot with each other? Like Louis clearly knows a lot more detail about Armand's backstory than the carefully curated stuff they mention to Daniel (like the chop my hands of thing is wild, but he also mentions the cult celibacy stuff). because going back to S2 Episode 3, Louis is the one who walks in and finishes Armand's story. And at the time I was like, "oh thats just the story Armand told him", but he KNOWS there is more - which means they are actively conspiring to present this angle to Daniel. Like we underestimate how much they were both collectively telling this narrative of their life/romance. Truly wild on rewatch. Like they were very competent as partners (in crime and lying) like can you imagine Loustat effectively collaborating at this level?

Someone pointed out "Alex is the glass half full guy and Shane is the glass half empty but he's working on it guy" and so true.
I think Alex is a finger guns kind of guy and I have nothing to support this claim but I'm gonna stand my ground on it. (Alex also just kinda lost on if the blushing or the tearing up is more important and did HE PERSONALLY mess up saying this because he sure as heck doesn't know.)

i know i said earlier that my interpretation of curly as a victim of jimmy's manipulation as well wasnt necessarily implied in canon but im gonna double down and say it is. ESPECIALLY with the how fish is made dlc.
curly doesn't only enable jimmys behavior towards anya - he enables jimmys behavior tomwards himself. we know jimmy doesn't fulfill his duties to standard, we know curly was putting up with his shit since day one on the tulpar. curly was the only one implied to also be trained as a pilot, meaning that he took on significantly more work rather than confronting jimmy. he let every awful comment jimmy made towards him slide - he let jimmy put him down and villainise his desire to be happier in life. like, its fucking crazy to get mad at your friend for wanting to change his career to be happier? especially on his birthday?
this isnt to say any of that is as bad as literally being raped like anya was, but what little we know of jimmys and curlys dynamic is that jimmy was bitter and spiteful and would take it out on curly, blaming curly for wanting better for himself. curly never pushes back, implying he's accepted this dynamic - he's accepted jimmys tendency to do awful things and then take no blame (no responsibility) as a quirk, as something entirely acceptable.
if you've ever deeply cared for your abuser, chances are you know that desire to view them as innocent. everything harmful they do to you is fine, and thus everything harmful they do to ofhers has to be fine, because you just cannot reconcile these two ideas in your head. they cant be innocent if theyre harming others, and if theyre harming others, what are they doing to you? curly doesn't behave like an enabler, he behaves like a victim. the men who support rapists everybody labels curly as would push back at their friends actions towards themselves. curly never does this.
as curly is effectively unable to communicate after his injury, we dont get his point of view after being directly violated and forced to acknowledge jimmys abuse within the game itself. the game paints very clear parallels between anya and curly - both pregnancy (especially as a result of rape) and disability (especially as a result of violence) result in a loss of autonomy, unwanted and uncontrollable changes to ones body and in this case- the perpetrator getting away with it. like, the way jimmy twists the tale to make curly out as the bad guy is purposefully reminiscent of men who blame women for "asking for it" when accused of rape. curly caused the accident - jimmy is just an innocent victim of his.
in the last one and then another, curly regrets ever joining the pony express. his thought process sounds a lot like that of an abuse victim (because he and everybody working under pony express is a victim of their abuse, of course): "We're defined by our past, but not slaves to it. We said tomorrow will be different. Today would be the last day. The last one. The last one and then another. And another, and another, and another... " its the cycle of forgiving your abuser because you believe they can change, because you believe you can change and break the pattern, and pushing through day by day, never giving up on them. even if curly wasnt abused by jimmy and jimmy was "just" toxic towards him, its clear he has this pattern of thought deeply engraved in him. we don't know everything jimmy did to him, we barely know of what he did aboard the tulpar, but at the VERY LEAST he exploited curlys trauma for his own benefit. it could be argued curly shouldnt have passed the psych eval, but neither should have jimmy.
lastly, anya and curly clearly serve as parallels in the game. anya is an incredibly capable doctor, she wasnt unable to give him medicine because of disgust - she bandaged him herself, thats far more dirty work. she related to him too much. she saw herself in him - somebody who lost their body and their voice. even without knowing the same man did this to both of them. theyre both victims of abuse, of violation, of a man who could never take responsibility, of a sistem that allowed all of this in the first place. curly shouldnt have enabled jimmy, but curly shouldnt have had anything to enable in the first place. jimmy shouldn't have raped anya, he shouldnt have crashed the ship. pony express shouldnt have abused its workers. whichever regime holds power over it shouldnt have allowed it to happen in the first place. you can acknowledge somebody made a mistake, and yet understand they were abused too. jimmy was exploited by the capitalist society he lived in. if he had access to mental health services, he couldve gotten better. everybody in this game is a victim of circumstance, but jimmy hurt people nonetheless. curly hurt anya nonetheless.
anyways im going to set everybody who says curly "deserved it" on fire to prove their point.

hey, pro tip! if you ever need to start crying, just think about grant chapman!
think about how one of the first things he told remus is "everyone gets sick of me in the end" and how he dedicated 20 years of his life to the only person he had ever had a true bond with, both romantic and platonic. think about how he said remus was "too bloody good for him by half" and probably always feared he was going to be put aside as soon as someone better appeared on scene, and how, when he finally got over that fear, sirius appeared and he just had to go, because it was happening at last, he was not good enough to compete with love, even though he tried.
and he tried a lot.
then reread chapter 186 of atyd and there you go! you are bawling your eyes out! well done!

BUT ANYWAY here they are your fav pairing ghost and mouse, in the beginning of their big city adventures (im gonna update masterlists soon i suh-wear!) anyway thats all, love ya hope ya enjoy!!!
The Story of Ghost and Mouse
~*~
The concept of 'home' doesn't really exist to you.
Home.
You'd looked it up once, during one of those endlessly long days when your Ghost was away.
Home.
Noun.
the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household.
Home.
Something that hasn't existed to you, at least not in a positive way, for your entire life.
But now, somehow, you're discovering this 'home'.
Creating it, even.
You've landed, exited the helo, and are now standing just inside the doors leading home.
Simon's fingers tugging on your sleeve pull you from your thoughts, your dreams, and back to the present moment.
"Here." He hands you a box wrapped haphazardly in brown wrapping paper.
You eye it warily, looking up at Simon for some sort of explanation.
"S'not much," Price chimes in, "just a little going away gift me an' the boys put together for you."
You go to hand it back to Simon, but Price stops you with a gentle hand on your forearm.
"We put it together for you, Mouse. Not for him."
You frown, looking between the box and the Captain.
It takes you a few moments to process this, but eventually, you pull the box in toward yourself.
"Thank you," you finally murmur, unease settling heavily on your chest.
The older man gives you a gentle smile, then takes a half-step back.
"Well, you two stay safe. Stay outta trouble, Mouse." Soap gives you a gentle pat on the shoulder in farewell, and Gaz gives you a wave, and then you're standing there alone with your Ghost.
Slowly, you turn to face him, eyes wide and full of wonder and fear and excitement.
His gaze is locked on yours, face covered by a black medical mask, but his eyes. His eyes are there, they always are.
Brown and soft when they rake over you, full of softness he's kept hidden for years, decades even.
And now it's all yours, spilling through the cracks in his cold hard exterior. A pot of love and light and all the good things he can muster, boiling over on the stove of his heart.
And you're the one who lit the fire.
"C'mon, Mouse. Let's go home."
The entire drive through the city, your eyes are trained out the window. Looking at anything, everything. The gloomy clouds that spit a few tears every now and then, the stragglers walking wherever they need to go
A fire truck races past in the opposite direction and you swivel around in your seat, craning your neck to try and follow it as much as you can.
And Ghost says nothing.
He’s silent the entire drive, as he usually is, but this time it’s different. So different. This time he’s not going home alone.
No, now he has you, his sweet little mouse. And the last thing he wants to do is pull you from the window where you sit and stare in awe.
“Look!” You exclaim suddenly, a smile spreading widely across your face.
He follows your finger, brows drawing together as the car slows to a stop at a red light.
“Look look look!” You point harder, pressing your finger firmly against the glass.
“What is it, love?” Simon asks curiously, rolling down your window.
You gasp, looking at him with pure bewilderment written across your face as if he’s just performed witchcraft before your very eyes.
“There! That one!”
Finally, he sees what you’re pointing at, and he can’t help the sad smile that tugs at his lips.
“That’s a school bus. Kids get on that and it drives them to school. S’where they go to learn how to read and write… do math. That sor’a thing.”
The more you learn about that world, the more you realize you’ve missed out on.
All of this, every single thing, is brand new to you. The giant glowing signs in the sky, the vehicles - some different shapes and colours, the supermarkets, banks, hotels, train tracks.
The reminder of your bleak upbringing tugs on Simon’s heartstrings, and he reaches across to rest a hand on your thigh, giving it a loving squeeze.
Your eyes drop down to where his hand meets your leg, and then you lift your gaze up to his face.
The car starts moving again, but Simon glances over at you every now and then.
“What’s goin’ through that head a’ yours?” He asks after a few moments of silence. Moments spent, mostly, staring at him.
“What do we do now?” You finally ask, voice small.
He gives your thigh another squeeze then gently rubs his thumb back and forth against you.
“Now we do whatever we want. For a bit, at least.”
He’s got three weeks off. Three whole weeks to spend with you doing whatever the two of you please.
“What does Simon want?”
A number of things happen in the few heartbeats that pass between your question and his answer. The first being him falling even deeper in love with you.
The second thing that happens is a deep contemplation of your words.
What does Simon want?
You. That’s what.
He doesn’t care if you spend the next three weeks in his bed too fucked-out to move.
He doesn’t care if you want to go to Saskatoon, Paris, or the moon, for that matter. Whatever you want is what he wants.
Whatever makes you happy he’s sure will make him happy.
And so he answers as honestly as he can.
“I want you, sweet Mouse. S’long as ‘ve got that ’m a happy man.”
The smile that stretches your cheeks is the same smile that melts his heart.
His hand moves from your thigh to your hand and then he’s lacing his thick calloused fingers through your small, fragile ones.
He tugs your hand over toward his face, chapped lips kissing your skin for a long moment before lowering your hands.
“How ‘bout we go home, spend a few days there, and take it from there. How’s that sound?”
You give his hand a squeeze and settle into your seat a bit more.
“We go home,” you agree, sighing softly and turning to look out the window again, this time with a lovesick smile on your pretty pretty face.
~*~
‘Home’ turns out to be a small one-bedroom apartment in what Simon describes as an ‘affordable’ area of a rainy city that you wouldn’t be able to point out on a map.
The people here sound similar to your Simon, but none quite have the same accent.
It’s a short trek up three flights of stairs and down a damp hallway, but then he’s unlocking the door and motioning for you to enter first.
You hesitate just in front of the threshold, unsure eyes darting up to his and waiting for his confirmation before you take another step.
He watches you for a moment, then gives you a gentle but definite nod.
You step inside, breathe your first breath of home, and it’s nothing but Simon.
His scent clings to the cold air in his apartment, wrapping around you when you take another step further inside.
“Sorry for the cold. No point havin’ the heat goin’ when m’ not home.”
You don’t answer him, far too amazed by all that surrounds you.
Now, Simon makes good money. Far more than he really needs, but that doesn’t mean he splurges.
He’s away from the apartment more often than not, so why buy expensive furniture, or soft area rugs, or more than one chair for his kitchen table?
His apartment, though impeccably clean, could compare to the shit-holes he’d often find you living in.
But to you? This is luxury.
Simon sets his bags down and locks the door, leaning against it and watching as you slowly and carefully explore your new home.
You drag your fingers over every surface you can reach, tears prickling your eyes at the beauty surrounding you.
The walls are intact and don’t have a single bullet hole. None of the windows are broken, and the couch might be the softest thing you’ve ever touched.
Simon follows you as you venture over to the balcony, peering outside curiously.
The view catches you off guard and you quickly look over at Simon, as if confirming that this is real, you’re not dreaming.
He only gives you a soft smile and a gentle nod.
Taking a shaky breath, you continue exploring.
You dust your fingers over the bookshelf, across the spines of well-loved books about who-knows-what.
And then you’re venturing into the kitchen, curiously opening cupboards and then peering into the fridge.
“We’ll go grocery shopping together. Get you some real nice snacks.”
You nod absentmindedly, leaving the kitchen and heading toward the other two rooms, opening up every single closet on your way.
Simon can’t help but chuckle when he hears you turn the water on and off and on and off and on and back off in the bathroom.
When you make your way into the bedroom, he follows, moving silently and watching as you trace your fingers over his bed.
Your bed, now.
Besides that, there's a single nightstand with a lamp on it serving as the only other piece of furniture in the room. Another thing he plans on changing now that you’re here.
“So? What do you think?” He asks after a moment, watching the way you stare at the bed, topped with an old duvet and one single pillow.
Another thing he needs to change.
“Home,” you murmur, pressing your hand flat against the bed and then looking over at him.
He nods and makes his way over to you. Two strong, deadly hands push your hair away from your face, and then they’re gently holding you, tilting your head back.
Your lips part and your lids flutter closed, and Simon marvels at how easily you let him touch you, handle you.
“S’right, Mouse. We’re home. Jus you ’n me.”
He catches the falling drops as you melt into him, cradles you against him and presses kiss after tender kiss to your head.
The two of you stand there for a long while, long enough for him to groan when you finally pull back to look up at him.
“‘M’gonna shower. Care to join?”
You nod up at him eagerly, slipping your fingers under the back of his shirt and humming when you feel his warm skin.
A chuckle rumbles in his chest.
“‘F I didn’t know any better I’d think you just want me naked,” he muses, slowly walking the two of you backward.
You follow his lead effortlessly, your eyes focused up on his as a mischievous smile spreads across those lips that he wants to kiss.
Your wish is promptly granted.
Soon enough, the two of you are bare beneath the spray of the water. Water that will get warm and stay warm, unlike what the two of you are used to.
Simon washes your hair for you, massages the three-in-one into your scalp then rinses it while trying to remember the last time he bought shampoo.
Another thing he’ll need to change.
The list grows with each room he sees you in.
A toothbrush for you, a new tube of toothpaste because his is not looking the best.
Another mug, because maybe one really isn't enough.
He’s pulled from his thoughts by those soft hands of yours, wandering down his belly, following the happy trail.
He sucks in a sharp breath when your little fingers wrap around the base of his semi, quickly chubbing beneath your delicate touch.
You look up at him with those wide, innocent eyes, and he sways a little on his feet with how quickly the blood rushes south.
Curiosity cocks your head to the side and pulls your hand upward, then slowly pushes it back down.
Simon pushes a heavy breath through his nose and drops his head back as one hand grabs your wrist while the other braces against the wall.
The water rains against your back as you slowly stroke his shaft, bottom lip tucked securely between your teeth as you watch the big man before you slowly come apart.
The hand on your wrist tightens but doesn't stop you nor does it push you to pump him faster.
No, he’s more than happy to take things at your pace, to let you have your way with him, do what you want to him.
And that’s exactly what you do.
Slowly, you sink to your knees in front of him, a position he’s only ever imagined you in, and one he’s not sure you knew about.
One day you’ll tell him about the website you stumbled upon that someone must’ve left open on the tablet, but today is not that day.
Instead, you push your hair back and stroke his length a bit faster, leaning forward to place a gentle kitten lick on the tip.
His hips stutter forward and his knees buckle the tiniest bit and you can’t help but giggle.
“Fuckin’ hell. You tryna kill me?”
You grin up at him and lick your lips and fuck if that isn’t the sexiest thing he’s ever seen in his life.
He has half a mind to stop you so he can grab his phone and take a photo of you and make it his lock screen.
Wet hair clinging to your face in some spots, eyes wide, back arched, chest up, pretty hand around his cock and prettier lips pressing against the tip.
The thought leaves his head though when you wrap your mouth around the mushroom tip, tongue swirling around experimentally while your hand continues stroking him.
His abs flex, shoulders hunch forward and his breathing becomes laboured.
Water runs down the strong bridge of his nose, falling over his lips only to be blown away with each pant of air.
The hand on your wrist moves to your head, not pushing you down but certainly stopping you from pulling back (not that you had any plan on doing that).
Encouraged by his reaction, you flatten your tongue against the underside and slide down his length as far as you can go, stopping only when you feel like you may gag. And then you pull back and do it again. And again. And again. Each pass brings you further and further down his heavy cock until your nose is nestling in the blond batch of hair at the base.
Your eyes water as you fight your gag reflex again, but the look on his face is so worth it.
His eyes are squeezed shut and he’s flushed pink from his chest to the tips of his ears.
You hum around a mouthful of him, coughing when he snaps his hips forward the tiniest bit, forcing more down your throat.
You pull away, gasping for air, and he opens his mouth to apologize but all that comes out is a choked moan when you immediately drop your mouth back onto him.
“Fuck!”
You don’t stop, mimicking what you saw in the video, and it seems to work because in no time Simon is gripping your head with both hands and trying his hardest not to fuck his cum down your throat and into your belly.
It surprises you a bit, the thick warm salty ropes that spurt in your mouth and down your throat, but it’s not unwelcome.
It tastes salty and so distinctly Simon that you can’t help but moan and greedily suck it out of him.
This time he can’t control it - his hips stutter forward when you continue sucking and licking at his oversensitive cock, not stopping until he physically pries you off, and even then you whine up at him like he ruined your meal.
You stay on your knees, warm water raining down on you, lips covered in spit and cum and fuck you’ve never looked better.
Simon leans his shoulder against the wall, panting heavily as one hand reaches out to stroke your cheek lovingly. You lean into his touch, humming softly, and he feels himself wrap around your finger a little bit tighter.
“C’mere,” he whispers, reaching for your hand and tugging you up to your feet.
Your legs ache a bit, but that disappears the moment he presses his lips to yours.
He kisses you with such fever you squeak in surprise, the sound quickly silenced and devoured by his hungry mouth.
His hands, big and warm and so made just to touch you, to feel you, find your waist and pull you flush against him.
You melt against him as the warm water beats against your back, rivalling the intense heat radiating from his chest.
Finally, when your lungs are aching, he lets you break away from him.
Your heavy breaths mingle in the damp shower air, and you can't help but giggle softly up at him.
Blond hairs dangle close to his eyes, water dripping from them as the corners of his scarred lips tug upward.
"What?" He asks, "Somethin' funny?"
You shake your head and tuck your bottom lip between your teeth, then gaze up at him with wide eyes full of admiration and adoration.
And in his eyes, you find an exact mirror of your own.

Season 6 of ML is a direct reflection of Season 3: Here's why
Going into season 6, the writers claimed that this would be a new beginning, a reset on everything that has happened so far. And to a large extent it is.
No longer are we expecting serialized episodes, and have thus far been treated to several expositional episodes, where we are introduced to new and old characters and situations.
Some might consider this a "new season 1" a brand new beginning to welcome in arc 2 of the miraculous ladybug story. However, I think that this is a misrepresentation of season 6 as a whole. And I believe from what we've seen so far of this season, and what has been teased to us, that this season relates far more to season 3, than it does to season 1.
For starters, let's talk about the most obvious comparison the call-back to season 1 episode 1's Stormy Weather. While we have yet to see episode 1 of season 6, the weather-themed akuma "Climatiqueen" sounds to be a clear reference to the French name of Stormy Weather "Climatika".
Tumblr media
In both these instances, the reference back to the first episode effectively functions as a reset. In season 3, "Stormy Weather 2" serves as an introduction point to the latter half of the season and a way to distance the more "frivolous" early episodes from the more important and high-stakes latter episodes. In season 6, it functions as a transition from what we saw in season 5 to what we are to expect in season 6.
There are a few more episode call-backs in season 6 to season three, but of all of them, this was the most convincing of intentionality on the part of the writers.
Next comparison we see is with Lila, and how she "changes targets". The episode Chameleon in season 3, is when we start to see a major shift in Lila, specifically in her focus from Ladybug to Marinette. While she still targets Ladybug after this episode, this is where we start to see a decline, until we get to season 5, and she's all but forgotten about Ladybug.
In season 6 too, we see her begin to shift again. While in episode 2, we see her obsessively watching Marinette and Adrien's date, this is ultimately in pursuit of Ladybug. The shift has begun. If my analysis is correct, we will see more and more of a preoccupation with Ladybug from Lila (Cerise?) and less of a focus on Marinette in Lila's antagonistic role
(Also wanted to point out this amazing call back to season 3 episode 1 "Chameleon it's very on the nose)
Tumblr media
What's also important to note is that while season 3 might have been episodic, the information relayed in each episode was vital, and nearly all of it was brought up in subsequent episodes/seasons (re: new heroes, chat blanc, the statue scene TM). With season 6 so far, this appears to also be the case. The episodes are episodic, but I would hardly call them fluff. We've been told new lore, understood ever-changing relationships, and have been privy to the delicacy in which virtually all characters exist.
This frailty is something that we actually see a lot in season 3, especially in relation to secret keeping. In season 3, we have Kwamibuster, Desperada, Weredad, Chat Blanc, and Ladybug. All episodes that either reference, or center around issues relating to secrets and identities. In season 3, we actually see the most threats to secret keeping. Season 4 by comparison only has 3 (gang of secrets, wishmaker, and ephemeral).
Secrets are winding their way around the plot of season 6 as well, a threat that appears most pointed in the most recent episode "Revelator". The delicate tether of these secrets seem precarious to us viewers, just as they did in season 3. And just like season 3, they're bound to break at some point, in a catastrophic and calamitous way...
Which leads me to the whole reason I made this post and why I think the writers created this reflection...
The episode 22 slot.
Just to be clear on what I mean by that, here is the 22nd episode of season 3:
Tumblr media
and here is the 22nd episode of season 6:
Tumblr media
The tenterhooks of identities in season 3, eventually came to a head in the episode "Chat Blanc", an episode where we learn what would happen if they knew each others identities. An episode where we say Adrien get akumatized for the first time.
So far, every clue seems to point to Marinette being akumatized this season, right down to the name of this villain "Lady Chaos" seems perfect of a callback to Ladybug for me. And with the way this secret has intertwined with Ladybug's identity, relationships, and reputation, there's no shortage of reasons as to why she might get akumatized.
Right now, in these early season 6 episodes, we are being provided the tools to allow her to finally get akumatized. Alya has a kwagatama and can reference Marinette to defeat Marinette. She also has been named Marinette's successor if necessary (and has a premade suit). Chat Noir has the ability to remove the memory of Ladybug's identity from anyone's mind. And most importantly, we have been provided a motive, over and over again.
