Such a good episode! Not plot-heavy, just a silly episode. I'll gladly take it as my late birthday present. And it's great to have Swag back, kinda was half-expecting Chris to just pop out.

I've said this once and I'll say it again: I wouldn't mind if the rest of the year is just filled with goofy episodes. After all, we just came from WOTFI and we do need a bit of a break so the Team could work on the next arc. (From the looks of things, we might get goop!4 *cough cough*)

Loved the bits of animation and Mario's expressions as always.

Now, I know there is some talk about the SMG4 Crew/Mario Does Things being on hiatus and merging with the Saturday videos. If you can even call it that. Personally, I don't mind it. I completely understand if doing 2 episodes per week is a lot for the Team to handle, though I do wish they would give an explanation for it. I think the best solution would be for the Team making an announcement of the change, the reasons behind it, and how it may be different from the regular Saturday episodes. Also make it clear that "hey, the title says this so it doesn't impact the main storyline".

Anyway, it has been overall a pretty funny episode and I quite enjoyed it! Now, if you excuse me, I'm gonna cry my eyes out watching the rest of Arcane Act 3 and bring that angst to the next episode concept :)

I dip into the Fallout New Vegas tag here on occaision and, after sifting through the crude yaoi, soft core robot pornography, and facebook-era middling memes, I will on occasion find posts that grant me even greater appreciation for this decade-old game I hold so close to my heart.

Your recent one regarding Joshua Graham was one such post. As an agnostic man, it is hard to begin the arduous task of looking into spirituality and identity exploration without running into miles and miles of con artists, swindlers, and frothing fanatics (that plus I'm lazy). Yet when I cross paths with one who is learned about a topic i am ignorant of, and I have the presence of mind to listen, I always want to try to make sure my appreciation known for the wisdom they share.

So, thank you for your post. I think the history and connection between the game and in real-life is fascinating to no end, and I want to express my gratitude for your sharing your view of it. The lenses of others may be cracked, clouded, or otherwise obscured to us, but I think it is always wise to try and see through them ourselves, and if not, then to try and imagine.

it did not make leaving easier. It's easier to love people than ideas. The more I learned about the history, the more I could see the church in it's granularity - as a huge, lumbering group of people, shaped by pain and loss and hope.

I miss them. I don't really see the hand of god in my people's history. But I do see the power of hope, and faith, and to some degree, fury.

I appreciate everyone that holds those feelings with me. I felt a little alone in the exmo world. But I don't feel alone reading notes like this.

I really think that Yussa and Essek could have a very funny fling as, like, Essek's rebound relationship down the line. I don't know if this is unpopular, because for a while it was a thing people joked about all the time, but also where did that energy go.

Actually I'm going to use this to get on a small soapbox but like, as a whole I think fandom has kind of moved away from making fanworks for non-canon ships when one or both characters are in a canon ship, but I do find it fairly difficult to write ship fic for non-canon ships in this fandom (and campaign 2) in particular because the canon ships are so well-established in their respective stories, so I really do feel the need to flesh out and justify why a different relationship is happening, and I don't think I'm alone in this in that most fic I've seen for even ships that have some canon basis do feel the need to do this! And some of the strongest fic I've seen for non-canon ships do actually put thought into this, so I don't think it's a bad thing at all, but I do sometimes feel like I should write more fic with less justification for ships that aren't canon. But it's so HARD to write even short fic for ships that aren't yet established cuz wdym I gotta do all the leg work here. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't be procrastinating on my editing.

Oh god, I have honestly so many answers to this question. The one that I think is most egregious is definitely Molly, but with the caveat that Kingsley is actually that hot because he gives less of a vibe that he needs people to think he's hot, which is the absolute least hot thing you can do.

Scene Awsten Hair (And some bonus clothes)

While I made hair for Awsten before, I was never satisfied with the shape of the scene hair, and for a long time I felt this base mesh from Backyard Stuff, which I kept thinking was from Cool Kitchen Stuff, for awhile, would be perfect. But the bangs went the wrong way, so I decided to mirror the mesh in Blender, as that is like the only hair related thing I can modify, but then the UV mapping on the back was off, if you wanted to know why I screenshotted a lot of low angles, so I fixed that. And I'm really picky about which direction bangs fall. :)

Due to it being a mesh edit, it should not require any packs, tho due to the UV mapping editing, this hair is just standalone. Not to fret! In case you REALLY want this hair mirrored with the default textures and UV mapping, I made that too.

Pictured above is how Awsten normally treats me in this game. Due to how I made all this hair for him, I am able to have outfits for him and up to 4 different hairs with all different colors. The tricolor I use all the time, red & black for a few specific outfits, blue for just one, and now scene for two. This only matters to me really, but in case you're like me and like your Sims to change hair style and color a lot.

As a bonus, as I'm never gonna get to share these otherwise, I made some shirt and shoe recolors for him, the shoes and long stripes shirt are extra swatches onto vanilla stuff, the striped t-shirt is standalone. I spent like an hour on the damn shoes, I am sharing them. Oh and fingernails too. Those come with a second swatch for Jack, so two swatches. All should be base game. The shoes and tshirt come with extra swatches, the long sleeved shirt just has the one.

The thing about "love is a sacrament that should be taken kneeling" is that it really doesn't fit marriage proposals because it is actually a sad and very catholic coded tbh sentence about humility and worthiness from someone who was at their lowest and it ressonates with me for the parts I agree but also for the parts that I don't and that make me think of an anxious teen on his knees doing one ot the most important rituals (the Confirmation) for a religion he doesn't really believe and that doesn't really accept or believe in him because he wants to make his mom proud and happy (De Profundis was hard for a lot of reasons but I was not expecting my catholic upbriging to be one of them).

The other thing about "love is a scrament that should be taken kneeling" is that everytime someone points out it's not actually about romance they complete it with "is tots about bjs" and like I can see why better than I can see romance but previous perfomance does not equal future results Wilde can write things that aren't puns nor inuendos (shocker I know). So it's not about blowjobs. But like if you want to use it as so, go wild, have fun. Just don't spread it as if it was intencional.

The digital "version" of ^this^ is just some lazy color blocking I did. (Pay no mind to the weird light effects); But it does add a little clarity to the original sketch that might be helpful. Note: the values will change to some degree later.

Full body type idea ^here^. The tail is fan shaped from proper perspective.

The basic blocks of his design include an array of different animal features i.e. plucked feathers and skin, goat horns and eyes, coyote skull and body, and lizard scales. Idk if anyone was curious though;

if anyone asks for more detail in the design inspirations and lore I might share it. I just don't really feel the need to post every part of my process yk (especially if I'm not 100% happy with it)
