Jamil looks back on everything that has happened to him over the past year with a lens of scrutiny. He still isn’t sure if he’s dreaming or not, just like the day you confessed, just like the day he was announced as Housewarden, just like the day when he received a position over Kalim because of his own talents, not pity or underhanded tactics.

He still cooks meals for the whole dorm, but he swears it feels different. Maybe it’s because you’re there, staying out of his way as he works and handing him utensils and spices he asks for. Maybe it’s because it’s a choice he makes now, a way to keep some semblance of routine, and not an obligation he has to shoulder.

He gives you the first taste every time. He hand feeds it to you, watching with lovestruck eyes as you smile and hum, cheeks stuffed full and the corners of your eyes crinkling in bliss. It’s domestic and it’s so him, the love in each dish pouring into your mouth and warming your very soul.

When Kalim insists on holding a parade, you’re front and center along with Jamil. He insists on having you by his side, wearing your dorm uniforms as you cheer and clap to the music. Rest assured, if you’re not in Scarabia, he’ll have a uniform fitted for you just so you can participate and not overheat.

Kalim insists on using his own power for you too, much to Jamil’s chagrin. It doesn’t matter if you tell Kalim it’s fine, you don’t need what he’s offering—he’ll still find a way to give it to you. Some things may change but others stay the same, and you’ll know that all too well when you see another gift from Kalim on your bed.

Speaking of the people who surround Jamil, it’s kinda funny how Azul hasn’t eased off his flattery even though Jamil is Housewarden now. It’s nice that Jamil can shut him down with the “I’m literally Housewarden.” line, but that doesn’t stop Azul. His persistence makes you giggle whenever Jamil brings it up with exasperation.

Now that Jamil is older, he feels more confident with you. He still has a lot to learn and a lot to get used to, he knows, but he doesn’t feel like a blushing schoolboy anymore when he holds your hand. Right now, he’s just a man who loves you.

He certainly thinks he’s lucky to have you, someone who stuck by him after seeing the ugliest parts of him, the parts he tried to keep under wraps and hidden away in favor of his persona. Originally, he doubted whether you really loved him or Kalim’s servant, but with time you pried him open and slid into his heart.

It leaves him in a daze, to be honest. He isn’t sure how he let this happen—how he let you in, far more than he was planning to. He watches you as you brush your teeth, as you eat, as you stare up at the night sky and point to two stars and say “look Jamil, it’s us,” and thanks those two stars that you’re with him right now.

He knows when he has a good thing in his life. He knows when his life is better because of that thing. He knows it’s you and everything you embody, from patience to resilience to love. And he’ll love you in its purest form, giving with expecting anything back, because it's you and he knows you’ll never leave him hanging.

Given that a lot of what Steve does relies on shock value, he would take every opportunity to show you off and the black lipstick kisses you leave on him!

It’s a funny sight at movie premieres- him, in cargo shorts and sneakers, next to you in your patent leather heels and silky black skirts.

However, he really doesn’t know very much about the subculture, which leads to some awkward moments,

Loona also tries to deflect anybody mentioning she is dating you… she isn’t trying to refuse the relationship, more push off the embarrassment of it being thrown out publicly. It’s just so humiliating that people find her affection for you funny to point out

Loona is a hard Tsundere at heart. She never means to hurt you when she acts all tough and harsh, she just gets flustered so easily and she doesn’t know how to handle her feelings well… be patient with her, she does love you

Loona will genuinely try to comfort you should she accidentally make you cry when being a bit aggressive, since you’re just… so beautiful and it hurts her heart to know you’re upset or scared of her. Loona only really trusts Blitzø to talk about her infatuation with you and talk about how much she likes you, her adoptive father always listens to her so she can just simp as much as she wants without being judged

Talking about Blitzø, Loona takes a while dating you to feel comfortable enough to introduce you to her father and when you come over to the apartment to have dinner with him, the Imp immediately jumps into treating you as his daughter-in-law since he is confident his Loony-Toony has found herself her soulmate

Loona will also let you do her makeup and if anybody says her makeup looks shit, she’ll personally rip their heads off for daring to insult your work. She looks beautiful, thanks to you and she won’t take any shit. Her precious girlfriend did this and little things like that means a lot to her

You supporting and defending Loona like Blitzø does strengthen her growing trust and growing desire to open up. She doesn’t have both with you right away but everytime you do something for her, the more she feels like she can be attached to you with nothing going wrong

Loona is so afraid you’ll end up replacing her with somebody else that her insecurity sometimes bleed out the rare times you two argue. She needs reassurance that you only want her… a lot

Loona values anything you give her. Even give her a simple phone case and she’s using it the next day. She likes to picture that your heart is inside the gifts you give her and it makes her feel… well, happy. Since it means she has you with her, even when you’re not in front of her

👀 we’ve kinda touched on season 6 a bit here and there, but why not dedicate a whole response to it :3c

I think season 6 is their softest season. not that they aren’t ridiculously soft and loving in other seasons because they definitely are. but season 6… they’ve been reunited after two long and very difficult years. grian’s got some trauma, scar’s got some fears. they have to relearn one another

and it starts small. they have dinner together a lot. scar takes grian out on dates. grian builds his first ever nest in scar’s lil pirate cave. they spend a lot of nights just… together

the first time they go flying together is amazing, so breathtaking. scar hasn’t seen grian look so happy like that in a while, he looks at peace in the sky

scar is there when grian struggles with himself and his place on the server, there to pick him up and hold him close

season 6 is also the first time where scar preens grian’s wings <3 there’s a… lot that they learn that night, whoops

I think a few of the hermits come up to grian and thank him. they mention how upset scar was, how bad he was doing before grian came along. and they’re genuinely grateful because scar is so cheerful and bright, and he’s doing much better. and when grian sees scar later he all but tackles him and smothers him in love (and also apologizes for being gone for so long, that scar was that bad without him)

and the prank war!!!! concorp may be supplying supplies to both sides, but we all know scar is g team. he listens to grian plan pranks and builds and offers his own input, helps build on his ideas. he’s also totally shown his bias in giving g team stuff that team star doesn’t get :p

sahara vs concorp is fun too. when they do that prank with the sand, scar comes home covered in it. and he does quite a bit of complaining. face plants right into grian’s lap with a loud whine of “griiiian” while his pesky husband just laughs at him and starts to brush some of the excess sand out of his hair. and— “something wrong, scar?” “sand? really? sand?! cub and I spent hours cleaning it up!” “aw, poor baby. sahara had to send a message somehow!” “you couldn’t have, I don’t know, used signs?!” “where’s the fun in that?” “griiiiiii sand is so coarse! and it gets literally everywhere!” “ah, but a small price to pay for competition in business”

and demise??? oh my goodness demise. grian has a field day with teasing scar when he dies. and they have to set ground rules “no scar you cannot kill me when we’re sleeping in the same bed or nest. husband time is sacred time, demise does not exist in our home.” scar is over the moon when grian joins the dead team because they can scheme together and be menaces with one another

also with the area 77 stuff, grian Definitely tried to flirt with scar in order to get into that big building where his time machine was being kept. we’re talking the whole pushing up against the wall (a funny thing to do when your husband is like a foot and then some taller than you) and grian’s leaning in to whisper “don’t suppose you could let me into that there building, mm? just for a few minutes?”

scar is a Strong, Strong man in that moment

I don’t think they talk about what exactly happened with the watchers for a good bit into season 6. of course they have a small talk initially, one where grian kinda explains what happened with evo. but he never goes into the nitty gritty. just implies things for scar to pick up on. and it’s not until it’s been a long good while that grian ever mentions the watchers and what they did to him. scar never pushes, just sits and waits until grian is ready to talk and open up. and he tells grian as much multiple times

Well, wild thing to start off with, threesomes would be interesting if you manage to survive. And I doubt you could. Phaestro and Dionel are quite similar in some regards, but while Dionel is chill and social, Phaestro is more closed off and doesn't speak to many people except for when he tries to "Hallucinations be upon ye" an innocent person. You'd have to keep him on a metaphorical leash.

You see, I don't think they'd show OUTRIGHT agression. Dionel isn't the type and Phaestro is more the type to yap and monologue endlessly at someone, just talking at them. For your sake I think Dionel would take it but would complain when Mr. Pesto is out of earshot. If Phaestro tried to fight Dionel he'd brush him off. Phaestro is trigger happy with his magic so Dionel miiight have to pull you out of a daze at times. It might escalate to threats from Dionel. They'll never be shit like "I'll rip out your throat", they're way more subtle, again, he's a master of passive aggression. Truly an inspiration to mothers everywhere.

Both would always ask why you even like the other. If you tell them they're alike, you better prepare for a rant for why they're TOTALLLLYYYYYY different and like not at all similar, nah, for sure not similar...

If it's any other combination... oh boy. If it's Scarlita and mf Berial they'll be chasing each other like Tom and Jerry, that one would be near impossible to handle. One is a jester from the depths of the abyss and another a robot from the heavens- neither understand jack squat about humanity unlike the hunk duo. Being around them is like stepping into another world. Despite being "good" Scarlita is cold, and Berial is warmer and "evil". They balance each other out and... make each other so, so much worse? I don't think it's impossible for them to get along. They could form a kind of frenemies thing. I can see it.

Same thing with Reinier and Talene. Shit's gonna get realllyyy interesting. They have their strong values in common. Problem is those values are opposite. They view everything through strange eyes you can't quite parse, one striving for good as in purity, acceptance, light, the other striving for his version of good- a very twisted one at that, one that destroys to rebuild a perfect version of reality. Both realities are frankly impossible and Reinier and Talene are both perfectionists in their own ways. One is the praise kink and the other is the degradation kink. The angel and devil on your shoulder. Here you have true, deep hate between them. And you're the only thing they can agree on... eh, mostly, because they treat you completely differently even though you mean a lot to both.

In short, it'd be highly interesting and not out of the realm of possibility. Dionel & Phaestro- chill, most likely to tolerate each other, Scarlita & Berial- chaotic frenemies, Reinier & Talene- DEATH DEATH WAR, NOPE.

Could I have headcanons for Clay x reader who seems chill most of the time but is actually a very fun person?

As in reader is used to no one really paying much attention to them, and they always kinda feel like they're making everything less fun for others, so they just fade into the background most of the time. Hardly anyone knows they love to sing, play instruments, explore and find hidden beautiful places in nature, swimming in rivers, camping under the stars with nothing but food and a blanket, basically stuff that's fun because of emotions and not because there's a lot going on. Sorta like quality over quantity; they'd rather do one fun thing that can stretch out rather than packing in a billion different things that are fun for a short time

Basically, reader is fun but stays out of most things because they think no one thinks they're fun

How'd you end up discovering your art style?

Well, it wasn’t much of a discovery- it’s just how I draw, I guess! It evolves over time and changes based on what artists I’m looking up to and what styles I’m into

But I can give ya a (recent-ish) evolution of my style/a break-down on all its influences over the past two years if ya wanna see how it all happened!

Some stuff from July-October of 2022

Two-three-ish years ago, for instance, it was more classical painting inspired. I was real into Over the Garden Wall and also just…general American history back then don’t judge I was coming off of my first American history class since elementary school and I thought it was so cool So my art had more of like…that going on yk? It wasn’t as good as my stuff now at all, because I’ve since improved my anatomy skills, learned how to draw fabric folds (sorta), and learned a bit of color theory lol. But they’re ok for what they are, I guess.

I think my main problem back then was the fact that I did not fully know how to use references- and a lotta my references were like. Cartoons. And stuff that was very much not meant to be painted in the amount of detail I aimed for at the time.

(Even here, you can tell I was dissatisfied, because they all look pretty different from each other yk?) (and you can see how hardly any of the fabric has folds and how little I understood lighting 😭)

January-March ‘23

Anyhow, after this, in uhh early 2023, I had a 80s-90s comic book/pop art phase, which was a pretty drastic swing in the opposite direction. I still rendered things sometimes, but things were less soft/warm. BUT I was starting to use real photos as references which was vital

I was also watching a lotta tmnt with my kid brother, which is what I blame for why the proportions got so stylized- folks in the 2012 version of that show were just kinda built funny, which I think subconsciously impacted my art. My posing did get a bit stronger in this time as I practiced more, and I think things got less stiff

June-August ‘23

Next, as the summer months came, I had a lotta changes in inspo and also just in life lol. I had temporarily moved to my neighbor’s place, and I didn’t have a car yet/any friends who I liked enough to hang around with, so all summer long I rewatched a lotta 80s movies, fell in love with the first season of Stranger Things (not the others as much tho 😭), skateboarded, and watched a lotta art tutorials online. (I specifically remember Jackie Droujko’s yt shorts saving my assss- I loved her stuff so much. Definitely check ‘em out she explains things real well)

I improved slowly, but I DID IMPROVE a HELLUVA LOT. I focused a lot on trying to draw people who looked recognizably like themselves, but also stylized because realism (usually) bores me. I also got better at coloring- the first two here ain’t great in terms of colors, but I was learning. Plus, back then I was very into oddly saturated color schemes. (I mean it is a solid vibe. I may not do this a ton anymore but I can dig it still)

October-November ‘23

As autumn came, I was pretty enamored with all the like…✨fall vibes✨ that time around. My life was goin’ well, so I had a lotta optimism and a re-ignited love for nature, forests, and fantasy. Plus I was dating this girl who was really into vintage-y Wes Anderson stuff so I think some of that uhhh twee-ness rubbed off on me lol

My influences here were mainly old storybooks, a hint of Lord of the Rings (as you can probably tell by the hobbit), and a decent amount of Fantastic Mr. Fox. And for faces I was mainly using the Laurenillusrated Brushpack at the time I think? I don’t use the “Sketchy” brush in it as often anymore as I did then, but I should. It’s a great brush, and I actually am really liking all the little sketchy lines. It adds a nice touch.

December ‘23-April ‘24

I honestly did like a total of like. Seven drawings in these four months. As opposed to my usual…uhhh I wanna say 25 every four months. Idk what was up- art just wasn’t fun at the time. I mean, it was also just a lousy few months in general, so I’m sure that’s a part of it lol, but yk. This style is pretty close to my current one- my inspiration just came from x-files-ish sci-fi and American gothic stories/images as opposed to nowadays’ Beat generation and greaser inspo.

May-Now (October) ‘24

The Outsiders kinda dragged me back into enjoying drawing again honestly. I’d read and loved it back in 2023, but upon rereading it/watching the movie in February of 2024, it just sorta…entered my headspace and stayed this time. (Still, I didn’t really draw any Outsiders/greaser-y things till May)

Lately, I take artistic inspiration in 2d animated films, like the ones by Disney with the real nicely drawn fabric folds. And also just a lotta inspo from real life. I also do a lot of black and white comics, because I find that I generally have a “Go big or go home” mentality about most things- which can be a LOT of pressure! By allowing myself to draw simpler doodle-y things, I’ve regained that love for drawing. I think for a while it just felt like work, but in letting myself take it easy, art’s become a good time again :))

Hiii! I couldn't help but notice your 555 event and I would really love to participate in it. Could you do a matchup with an MHA character in a romantic relationship? I am heterosexual (straight) and I am a female. I'm pretty chaotic but sometimes calm as well. I kind of have a lot of different personalities but I can be low key sadistic, insane, snarky to other people. I'm not really a fan of socializing with people, but that doesn't mean I don't have a few friends. Around others, I'm pretty quite and rude, indirectly insulting them but brushing it off like "it's nothing" or whatever, I mean I do try to have manners to, but there's an extent where that goes. I'll just say the usual but don't expect me to compliment. But around my like... one friend (don't judge me) I am laughing like a hyena with her at every tiny little thing. And we even go to food courts at a mall, sometimes coffee shops or just the park and sit somewhere in a corner so we can silently judge everyone and make funny stories up for them. I usually try to stay calm under pressure or stop myself from blowing up when I'm angry cuz if I do, it's bye bye poor human, you won't even need a grave to bury your dead body cuz your soul and lifeless being is being sent straight to god. But most of the time I try to stay calm cuz my best friend keeps me under control from outright insulting people and forcing on a smile. My love language is physical touch or quality time because I find comfort in just being with a person. Words don't necessarily have to be exchanged. I'm pretty chill with my receiving love language, but I prefer physical touch too. My hobbies are sleeping. Yes I like to sleep quite a lot. For most of the day that is. I guess you can say I'm pretty nocturnal since throughout the day I feel lazy but at night, I go with my friend to 24 hour grocery stores for snack runs and twice I have scared two employees by being a bit too dark and chaotic and my friend had to give them an extra tip so they wouldn't call the cops on us (yeah I think I need some help). I also like to think of serial killer stories for everyone and what would they go to jail for, whether it be teachers from back when I was in school, or my classmates from then, or anything for that matter. It gets pretty fun too. When it comes to dating, I really really need someone who is chill. Cuz if that person has a lot of energy 80-85% of the time, then I am sorry, he will have to deal with my lazy ass, I CAN NOT! I hate partying too, cuz that would mean socializing. Honestly, if I have my partner to yap to about stupid things I read on the internet, that is more than enough. And also I would like someone who would be able to deal with me like I am normal cuz I have a lot of weird habits and outbreaks so if he could just be like... "..." "okay moving on" ...that would be really nice. And I absolutely hate judgy people or people or try to give me unnecessary pity or beat around the bush. Because I really hate when they won't get to the point. And also, I wouldn't see it as a defect or anything, but just something unconventional, if my partner tries to get me to me to be more nicer instead of being snarky, that kinda sounds like big defect. But we could try working it out. And he shouldn't be like "Girls can't do this" or "girls can't do that" I will piak him to the sun to get his ass burned instead of roasting him myself. The Realest Gojo Satoru Headcanons

He’s 100% the type of guy who would deepthroat a banana or hotdog or popsicle or something at any chance. And the best part? He's really, really good at it. Like, doesn't even gag kinda good. The great Gojo Satoru’s hair is so crusty. How else does it stay up like that when he’s wearing a blindfold? Gravity just doesn’t do it for him. He may insist it’s just excess cursed energy flowing through his hair because his blindfold stops and directs the flow of cursed energy elsewhere so that Six Eyes doesn’t work, but don’t believe him. That boy uses so much hair spray. In fact, due to the hairspray and scalp sweat melding together, knocking on his hair with a fist at, like, 2pm in the afternoon will feel like knocking on rock. 

In fact, it is so crusty that if you take a bite out of it, a chunk will fall into your mouth easily with a potato-chip-crunch. (Eating Gojo’s hair ASMR?) Running a hand through his hair will result in getting poked. 

On another note on his hair though, when it’s not hairspray crusted, that man just loves haircare. He’s got a collection of different bottles of shampoo and more of conditioner. And a scalp brush. And dry conditioner. (“It’s a lot to take care of my hair to be this beautiful, y’know?”) 

Every time he needs to remember a letter of the alphabet (see: alphabetical ordering), he sings the ABC song. Softly or loudly. Did he forget what number P is in the alphabet? Is he just messing? Who knows?

He’s 100000000% the type of guy to mix up his student’s names. (“Meg—Noba—Yugi!”) It’s kinda sad. 

He's played Palworld and though he picks a fight with anyone who dares claim Pokemon is eternally superior to Digimon, even Gojo Satoru can agree that Pokemon but what if they have guns?? is peak.

He has an eyelash curler and wears white mascara sometimes. 

As a kid, he’s always wanted a little sister. Maybe because he wants to be a siscon. But anyway, if you ask him, he’ll talk about all he wants to do with a little sister (braiding hair, singing together, fighting off boyfriends, helping with Girl Scout cookie sales, fighting the patriarchy, etc)

Just some interactions that happened to me a couple of years ago.

I was so uncomfortable trying to respond to them saying this, let alone in response to my photo.

When they broke our friendship (In a very cringe way btw. I can elaborate if anyone asks) they told me how I "treated them horribly" even though I was the one who constantly just had to deal with their Bullshit when they texted me.

They'd also constantly oversexualize all the female characters I Roleplay/I like

Ex: Saying that Peko has (AND I LITERALLY QUOTE.) "phat juicy tits".

When we had a Simp channel in our Discord server That was Yk... Dedicated to fictional characters.. or people in their class they thought were pretty. They posted a photo into it of Me in a Byakuya Cosplay looking down at the camera and then started going on and on about how they'd give me everything they owned and such and it made me so uncomfortable that I couldn't even response logically so i just sent "<3" and didn't respond to the text.

They would also talk constantly about their AUs and stuff about The Cuphead show. I rlly did like a lot of what they talked about since I liked Cuphead the Game and have a very open mind to others Aus. But the thing was was that I had openly talked about how I didnt want to watch the Cuphead show because I just didn't like the voice acting ((Well they've got good voice acting, good Animation, and funny plots , but I just don't think the Cuphead cast should have voices. But I did watch the show after all this, and it was pretty good)). But i just remember that one day I was getting tired of them talking about Cuphead and I texted them "I don't mean to be rude but can you stop sending Cuphead content? You're slowly making me dislike it 😕" (that's the exact quote), and then they got annoyed and was like "that was the only direct cuphead thing I've sent" And I ofc denied that bc I don't rlly loose interest in things through only one message unless it's controversial. And I wasn't gonna deal with pulling up all that evidence so I just said "Omfg *name*" "Nah I'm done with discord" and they instantly started to "im so sorry" bomb but I told them I wouldn't talk to them until I calmed down bc I was just pretty grouchy at the moment. When I came back I sent some words abt me calming myself down again, then said "I apologize for my outburst". And bam we were somehow friends again????

What was even worse was that they did this all in front of our mutual friend (well at the time it was mutual, now they're just my friend ^_^) that they were at the time dating.

(I don't even remember if they sent more cuphead and I'm not even gonna dig for it)

All I know is that that could've been easily resolved by either just saying something along the lines of "I'm sorry I'll try to send them less" or even being like "Cuphead is my Hyperfixation, just like how your hyperfixation is Danganronpa"

They'd also text the gc that me and my friend were in that they were going to commit Slick-a-Slide and then disappear for weeks on end. So ofc me and my friend would be worried and get in a depressive state because we were under the false narrative that they Unalived, just for them to come back after a while and just brush it off. Each time we asked if they were okay they would always be like "Yeah Sorry my mom just took away my phone." And for a while I started to speculate that they were just in a Mental hospital but they never mentioned it (and they Kinda told us EVERYTHING that happens in their life/day/week.) So not only were they treating me wrong, they were dragging my friend into it and Worrying them. (This happened multiple times while they were dating, so I can't even imagine the levels of depression that could've spiraled my friend into. Like having to hear your lover say they were going to commit, then go offline for a long time, is actually petrifying.)

This is a small one but I also remember that a couple weeks or months before they broke ties with me, We were in a server with all of their friends (+my friend and I), they texted the public channel asking if anyone wanted to call, and when I said that I was down to call that literally responded something along the lines of "someone who isn't Phantom" and then they kicked me shortly after I responded with a sad emoji. That made me lose all left over respect I had for them. My friend confronted them on how that wasn't too nice to say, and then they got kicked too.

Also this is off track but imma bring it up since I'm currently obsessed with Korekiyo, but the way they Roleplayed Korekiyo made him seem like he's some Holier than thou character that could pretty much read minds and just tell what they were doing prior ((for example a character could make and excuse to walk off to give something to someone they're currently seeing and come back to Korekiyo and they'd respond "Oh were you giving something to *name*?")). Idk this just made me not like Korekiyo for a while after they broke ties with me.

My mom’s friend once commented on the couple we saw on the street.

Little back story She was so fucking pretty, really put an effort into her appearance, laughing and joking.. She seemed like a really funny, someone cool you’d want to be around. He looked like he just rolled out of bed, didn’t even bother to brush his hair, clothes rumpled, grumpy, mean to her… She was so out of his league, but he had the audacity to check out other girls, IN FRONT OF HER.

Soo, of course we had to comment on it. And she said it’s probably low self esteem, lack of confidence, and that he made her believe he was better than her, and that she should be gratefull he’s even given her a chance.

I think that’s what Freddie is trying to do.

I wish her father makes an appearance, fucking destroys Holly and Lauren. Like bankrupt Holly’s agency, take over, renegotiates deal with Lando’s team. I had high hopes for Lauren, but not anymore. At first she seemed like someone who could be an ally If not a friend, but now she’s just an employee doing her job. So when times come, she’ll be treated as such.

I’m kinda afraid of what’s gonna happen in a meeting with Zak. I don’t really care about him IRL, but it’s seems like he won’t be a positive character in this.

Girlie is getting attacked from all sides, and I don’t like it. Really loved Logan detail. It does seem like people always try to connect WAGs to different drivers. Sometimes it is true, they seem to date from the same pool. LOL. But not this time, baby Logie can be a friend.

Next week, I hope we get at least some resolution, couse there are so many unanswered questions.

Btw, Lando did post much more last year, and in real time. But during summer brake, he and his friends got robbed. His friend talked about it on her tiktok. After that he started protecting his privacy better. Posting photo dumps only after he leaves the place, he even stopped posting on his .jpg account for a while.

Lauren is doing her job, Sophie is doing her job, Zak is doing his job, even Holly is just doing her job. I think the problem when you’ve got so many people whose job it is to manage how another person behaves, you do get in these situations whenever you step out of line. Because at the end of the day these people can’t stop doing their jobs to take care of you. They may like you or even care about you in some abstract way but your well-being isn’t their priority. So it sucks to be in that position but from their side it also sucks, it’s like herding cats.

I do remember Lando’s friend Jennie talking about how they got robbed in Ibiza but somehow I didn’t connect that to why he stopped posting so much.

Also tbf when I compare him to Max I remember how much content I was able to get from Kelly’s insta, whereas Lando doesn’t have a gf. I remember Luisa used to share content of him and Kika has Pierre a lot on her insta. So yeah him being single is really not convenient 😂

But yeah I did not appreciate how between Kelly, his jet tracker, his redline streams, and the fact that he makes documentaries about his life, Max Private Man Verstappen actually has a lot of content out there lol

back in March a bunch of us from work went out for our coworker's birthday. (For later context we work at a retail store of a major technology company. You're probably reading this post on one of their fruity devices right now) He's The Coworker. Ya know the one everyone likes being around and is kinda hot. I think I've had a crush on him basically from the day I met him. He's short and has dark hair and is into metal music and is so funny and kind and has these absolutely gorgeous colorful tattoos and he has this way of smiling where his whole face scrunches up and his sense of style is 🥵 - vans + black skinny jeans + hip chain thing + Hawaiin shirt but make it goth. He's a little like grown up emo boy.

Anyways a couple hours into the night him and I are sitting next to each other and my leg is resting against his and we were taking goofy pictures on everyone's phones and then HE PUTS HIS HAND ON THE INSIDE OF MY THIGH

It was very casual like we were dating or something and he kept carrying on his conversation with someone while his thumb was like brushing up and down on my thigh

I basically died I was like fuck yeah I won

Then later idk how this even happened but we seemed to both get the idea at the same time and our fingers just kinda intertwined and we were holding hands. It was like out of a movie

Then he looks at me, drunk as fuck with puppy dog eyes and is like "are you gonna call hr? 🥺"

I can never forget every moment of that night that was a major moment in my life. And then since then he's been hanging around me every chance he gets at work like when he's not with a customer he comes over to my table and lingers and helps me out if he can. Or when I'm on check in/door greeter EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. He isn't working with someone he just kinda drifts and gravitates over to me. And a lot of times I find myself looking over at him a lot and a lot of the time he's looking back like that whole stollen glances in class thing or whatever. And we've been teasing each other and stuff and it's just been the fucking best. So I thought huh maybe he likes me too

But. Recently we were talking about that night and he said he blacked out and doesn't remember most of it. So that's been kinda sad bc he probably doesn't remember holding hands with me or putting his hand on my thigh so I don't even know if that was a conscious decision so I can't use that as like "evidence" to myself that he likes me. For a while I was wondering if he remembered that but it's not like I can go up to him and be like 'hey do you remember that we held hands and were kinda flirty on your birthday?'

There's other people at work that he has more involved conversations with because he knows them better - like him and I have only hung out outside of work like once. But the mother fricking FREQUENCY that he goes over to me is unmatched he's like always around me.

Sometimes I try to act chill about it and I hope it doesn't make me sound unenthused but I'm just trying to hide the fact that I get excited as fuck every time I get a chance to talk to him

The other day I got pulled off my usual role and I was helping out in sales (what he does) and I screwed up a phone activation so I had to do the embarrassing thing of calling the carrier while the customers have to stand there and wait and I was getting a little nervous and embarrassed bc I should have known better than to make the mistake I did. Then I look up and he's right there leaning against the wall and he has a conversation with my customers while I read like a million numbers off to the carrier. It took so much willpower to not lean into him and rest my head on his chest. After I'm off the phone he says something like 'yeah I saw you looking around and I figured you might need some help, maybe because I know you better' or something - he said something about knowing me and picking up on my cues. And he took the time to just come help me even though we were really busy and he probably shouldn't have. And he taught me how to avoid that mistake in the future and was really kind and understanding about it and then the managers more or less had to pull him away from me so he could actually do his job.

We're honestly kind of a power couple as far as work stuff goes. He's very interested in my role and so he likes to watch what I'm doing but then when I'm working on a more involved issue he's really good at keeping customers distracted with conversation and showing them stuff on their devices. Also I think we look super cute together and anyone would be an idiot not to see it. Him with his black, perfectly gelled hair and me with my butterfly clips and him being just a couple inches taller than me so I fit in his shadow and him with his friendly approach to people and me with my determination to fix their problems.

I feel like every time I turn around he's passing by and we're always grinning at each other like idiots. And sometimes I get to hear him tell a customer "(my name) will be with you in a couple minutes" and I wish I had been focusing only on his voice because I love the way he says my name and he slurs the middle part of it together.

I don't remember where I was going with this I just wish he remembered that night and I really want to know if he likes me too. He keeps showing up in my dreams and I've found myself getting a little more dressed up when I know we're gonna work together like I've been tying up my baggy ass work shirt and literally yesterday I wore my combat-ish boots with HEELS

Sometimes I wonder if he sees me like a fun little sister - today I was like "dude you've gone on three breaks in the last four hours" and he was like "it was two, don't give me that attitude missy"

I'm so obsessed with being around him I want to get to know him better and go to metal shows together and go get tipsy at bars after work and get ready with him in the morning and see him in like a baggy Tshirt or a tank top before he does his hair. I want to ask him how my outfit looks before we leave and I want to get coffee together and I want to lay my head on his shoulder or his lap and I want to play with his hair and I want him to meet my friends and I want to steal kisses in the hallway and I want his big smile that he already always has when he looks at me to mean 'she's mine' . I want to watch fireworks and Disney movies and classic horror with him and I think I'd cry if he ever bought me flowers and he'd laugh but then he'd kiss my forehead and wipe my tears away. I want to meet his brothers and I want to go to the fair together and I want him to tease me about shit and I want to hear his laugh every chance I get I want to surprise him with his favorite things just because. I want to wrap my arms around him from behind I want us to cook in a cramped little kitchen with our cats at our feet. I want to fall into his arms on the couch and look into his brown eyes and I'd be the luckiest person in the world to have any of these things.

He has this complex about people not wanting to be around him and finding him annoying and sometimes I want to grab him by the face and tell him how much he's a joy to be around and that I treasure every moment we have together and I look forward to seeing him - he always makes my day better and when he's not there I'm disappointed. I so desperately want him to know he's loved by people and he's so valued. And yesterday I heard him telling someone about how dating hasn't worked out for him and when he meets girls they like him at first and see his tattoos and thinks he's cool then they get to know him more and his nerdy side and don't like him so much and I wanted to lean across the table and tell him I'd be his girlfriend right fucking now

i can't believe I'm the bitch falling in love at a fucking retail job at the damn a**** store. What is my life?? Why isn't Trevor a Christian??? So we could actually be together?? Why'd we have to meet at work instead of somewhere else in life so it wouldn't be weird and complicated and we could actually get to know each other???

I feel like if he got to know me he wouldn't really like me. I'm boring and socially inexperienced but I want so badly to be interesting and good with people and I'm trying so hard. I want to be the soft-punk gf to his casual-goth bf. I want to be his and him to be mine. I get so jealous when he talks to other girls it's stupid. Fuck.

oh my, I feel like I've spent a lot of money on myself recently.

I'm trying to work on painting this weekend. I have a long weekend this weekend. So far I'm scheduled to work wed-fri if I don't get a call but I have a dental appointment and hair appointment this week. Theres an interesting breed of drama at work and I think I'm getting too old for this. I just learned I'm literally older than a couple of doctors. I've officially reached that stage of my life where I can be older than doctors. So weird. On the scale of complaints I've had about workplace drama before this has to be some of the most benign complaints I've ever heard and I'm like "do you guys not hear yourselves?". Its just such a non-dangerous issue, that I can't even imagine wanting to complain about it. To me its like a spa day and yall are complaining about some weird stuff. Like come on.

But I keep picking up shifts because its essentially easy money but I'm also dirt tired and cranky. Wearing lead for 8-10 hours a day is also killing my upper back. I don't think permanent OR nursing is in my future. So its affecting my ability to be creative. I'm getting home at 5-6pm and plooping on the couch. I can't draw unless theres lovely sun out.

I still think my spanish is improving despite me getting hit hard with the reality that I don't know what the hell I'm saying often. But I'm still learning new things every day and I'm researching new ways to say things all the time. I think what honestly hurts the most is I keep seeing tiktoks on "white women who did a duolingo lesson once" which is in parts funny, I get it. But also, is me trying to speak with my patients making me fall under this category? am I just another white woman who duolingos? I just want to be effective at my job and communicate where appropriate.

I've also spent a small fortune. I feel like I should do a haul with just stuff I've purchased recently but none of it is art related (sort of). Other than I still have to PPE up at work, my face getting exposure to real air has made me appreciate a little bit of the skin care and make up type luxuries..2 make up items will cost a pretty penny. I got some new make up brushes and got some new things for this ball I have coming up. I just kinda want to look pretty. I'm feeling girly, I want the make up, the cute clothes and shoes etc. But we're just buying make up so far right now.

I also got 2 new work out shirts and a sports bra. I've gotten a wittle chunky this past year and my shirts are riding up. I'ma maybe use those extra calories for some hopeful gym gains. Hopefully I can rev up the gym-going when my husband gets deployed.

shoes, I got some new shoes for work and a new phone case. We also went on a really fancy date night that long ago and me not having a purse was kind of a nuisance so I got a new purse (or two). We have a lot of day trips coming up as my husband is trying to maximize family time before he's gone for the next year. I kinda want to look cute maybe so one of the purses is like a day trip bag.

anyway, I still want to order a couple of things but itll need to wait til the next paycheck.
