You have super scenes of smell, night vision, claws, sharp teeth, AND probably enough smarts to not get eaten by dogs or smth. On the other hand with humans, at least 70% of the population would adore you, and maybe even take you in to pamper you. It would be very easy to get them to do your bidding since you'd be just some animal, and perhaps put above your caretaker's needs. Pets? Affection? Just act all adorable and stuff and they'll give it to you, cling on to them and they'll say they're your human now. On the other hand (or paw) there's the wild cats!! Still very cute. Still very cool. Now your defenses are upped by a ton, and people still find you cute. Though with how shitty environmental conditions are, and with the bigger cats slowly going to extinction :( , I may or may not just stick to domestic cats But hypothetically.. It would be neat to be either a snow leopard, tiger, or a jaguar. I love snow leopards for their big fluffy tails, and it would be cool to be able to roam through snow and stuff, but that seems to get a little boring from time to time. Love tigers for their stripes, I don't think they can roar..?? But that doesn't change anything. Think Tigers and Jaguars are both pretty efficient in survival, but I'd pick Jaguar just for their athletics and HUGE bite force (least from my 1st search). Or maybe, maybe not because there's an outfit/skin or two of Valeria's that are based on jaguars.. (or leopards, but ill go w/ jaguars) im obsessed w/ this woman man hdwhadwjadawnk OH ALSO ON THE TOPIC OF BIRDS??? AS FUN AS IT WOULD BE TO BE A MALE BIRD AND SHAKE YOUR COLORFUL BUM AROUND, THERE WAS A WHOLE ASS WAR W/ EMUS AND AUSTRALIA Honestly who wouldn't wanna be a relative of a dinosaur, but smaller and just as fucking scary Also for vacation.... I don't like going on vacation. I just like being in my sad little room, on the internet or drawing my ass off But, Id love to visit Japan and see their Ghibli Studio museum, it's so cool... Or even just go to a few hotels or smth here and there, I love their stellar technology, I love how everything is so cute or neat there, oh and I especially LOVE the social rules there, I'm a goody-two-shoes at heart and perfectly agree with being "nice"... Like yeah sure I may not like you or the opposite, but at least we can co-exist without biting our heads off (unlike the fucking us) and japan seems open to their culture being explored by others, so I'd totally love to (respectfully) participate in some traditions here and there OR I could visit Europe. Like not even a specific country? Just Europe. Cuz the US is like really fucking big, and a country like France is apparently as big as Texas. And it would be cool to take a week trip just exploring cultures and stuff (well everything except food, I'm a terrible picky eater ugh) Vacation in the US scares me tho, I'm fine where I'm at rn Maybe id be a little open to going to canada.. but bc of how they're treating the Palestine genoside rn maybe like later in life if they redeem themselves, but like the us? Welcome back to the new series by @marsmarauders and I. Obviously we got carried away again but here you have every single song from Midnights related to the Marauders characters :D

Like this song is very obviously Jily falling hopelessly in love with each other I don’t think it needs to be further elaborated

Maroon

Wolfstar, but specifically like… November 1981. The vinyl reference, "the lips I used to call home," "laughing with my feet in your lap," and "the rust that grew between telephones" signifying how they weren’t communicating well and hiding things from each other "I see you everyday now" cause Remus sees the sky and what just so happens to be in the sky? Stars. Sirius also sees the sky from his prison cell and what does he see? Oh that’s right the moon!

Anti-Hero

“When my depression works the graveyard shift, All of the people I've ghosted stand there in the room”

We had two theories for this one first being Regulus bcoz of the self deprecating vibe and “I'll stare directly at the sun (James) but never in the mirror”

But we could also see it as Mary post-war? It's hard to describe why, but everyone sees her as the Anti-Hero cause she saved herself even tho she had full right to do that

Snow on the Beach

For this one I was utterly confused and absolutely useless and Marls came up with this interpretation herself

"Can this be a real thing? Can it? Are we falling like snow at the beach?"

This song is Sirius's perspective specifically during the wolfstar forgiveness phase after the prank. "You wanting me tonight feels impossible".

You're On Your Own, Kid

"You're on your own, kid, You always have been"

Both of us agree that this song screams all the Black children because none of them chose this town (family) and dreamt of getting out, I mean the whole song recounts a young person who longs for love but eventually understands that they are on their own and always have been afterall whatever you do you can never escape the black family curse can you?

Midnight Rain

“He was sunshine, I was midnight rain”

I mean do I even need to say anything? Its jegulus bcoz they r the literal definition of opposites attract even tho they loved each other they were born on two different sides of a war which inevitably became the reason of their end.

Dorlene. That’s it, like we have no explanation, just vibes.

Vigilante Shit

Both of us agree it could be both Regulus or Dorcas because canonically Regulus knew about the horcruxes, and died while deceiving the dark lord and on the way to kill him (also bonus bcoz the final blow which made him take this decision was bcoz Voldemort exploited Kreature so Reg decided to get even) Dorcas on the other hand canonically had to be killed by Voldemort himself because she was posing as too big a threat to his empire

Bejeweled

"Baby love, I think I've been a little too kind, Didn't notice you walking all over my peace of mind"

Lily about Severus and how even tho she  mourns and misses her friendship with him, it will never be worth more than her self respect and how she won’t let him walk all over her, a diamond’s gotta shine afterall ;)

Labyrinth

"Uh oh, I'm falling in love, Oh no, I'm falling in love again, Oh, I'm falling in love"

To me this song is sooo obviously jegulus coz of the chorus alone, its James realizing that he’s falling in love again, this time with Regulus after pining after Lily for years. Just how when he thought he was “unlovable” and it was all doomed this sickly, victorian looking, snarky slytherin boy swoops in and steals his heart right out of his chest

Marls has her own hc for Emmary tho where basically Mary was in love with Lily but it was unrequited and then she had a situationship with Emmaline but ended up catching feelings which is so perfect for this song

Karma

"And I keep my side of the street clean, You wouldn't know what I mean"

Again I had no opinion on this song coz it felt like too happy and too upbeat a song for any of these miserable sods (I still love them ) but Marls swooped in with a brilliant interpretation which was that its from Dorcas’ pov to the slytherin trio basically throwing shade at them for choosing to stay and join the death eaters instead of leaving and fighting for the “right” side like her

Sweet Nothing

"They said the end is comin', everyone's up to somethin' I find myself runnin' home to your sweet nothings"

Now for this song we had differing views with me being a jegulus girlie while Marls being a jily girlie (we still love both the ships tho, we just have a preference)

To me the song is jegulus coz I see it as them expecting the inevitable end of their relationship and doom due to the impending war and their family’s differing views and them just trying to tune everything out to spend their limited time together and in love.

On the other hand Marls interpreted is as to when the Potters were in hiding with only each other and Harry for company. How they could see that the war was on full ride and they were at the centre of it while still trying to create some sweet and happy memories with their son

Mastermind

"I laid the groundwork, and then, Just like clockwork, The dominos cascaded in a line, What if I told you I'm a mastermind?"

(Try and tell me the whole bridge doesn’t scream Regulus Arcturus Black.) To me the song is about Regulus because the man literally was a mastermind, while being a death eater he planned to betray Voldemort by destroying a horcrux and he was actually successful in retrieving it tho maybe I’m a little biased due to his characterization in the fic only the brave (Marls also thinks the song could be about James bcoz of the bridge "To make them love me and make it seem effortless")

The Great War       

"I vowed I would always be yours, 'Cause we survived the Great War"

Marls didn’t really have an opinion on this one but for me it was very clearly wolfstar. First reason obviously being the fact that they are pretty much the only couple who actually survived the war (the first one that is, we all remember how the second one went). "Somewhere in the haze, got a sense I'd been betrayed" being how they both thought the other was the spy and the prank

Bigger Than The Whole Sky

"Every single thing I touch becomes sick with sadness, 'Cause it's all over now, all out to sea"

Now this could go two ways one being the black brothers,

"Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, You were bigger than the whole sky"

Basically how Sirius feels when Regulus gets the dark mark. Because his brother is too far gone

Bonus since Regulus dies literally all out at sea

The other being marylily bcoz of

Obviously from Mary’s pov since Lily is dead

Now Marls had no idea about and I suggested rosekiller just coz of vibes and coz

To me this song is bartylus coded (don’t worry they then get together with Evan and James and have a happy relationship) especially coz of this one specific rosekiller microfic I’d seen if I find it I’ll reblog it with this post

We agreed this song gives off wolfstar vibes tho we are open to suggestions

Also 2190 days is six years which is around the same amount of time wolfstar dated if we hc that they got together around their 5th year :D

Marls also suggested it being from Narcissa’s pov to Lucius or Bellatrix, regretting not going with Andromeda which also fits wonderfully

(Since it in itself is talking about the person suffering due to a relationship when they were young and it even now haunts them I feel like this song could be interpreted many many ways bcoz all of the marauders era characters dealt with a lot of trauma at a young age)

For this one there wasn’t even a discussion needed it is wolfstar during the first war and we won’t hear otherwise. How even tho Sirius and Remus loved each other, the pressure of the war itself was too much on them especially coz they were so young and also coz of how Peter was manipulating them against the other ("Was it because I'm a werewolf?" "Was it because I'm a Black?" I’m sorry). They could see their relationship was straining, they kept waiting for the other to take a risk, a step to fix it and how even through their suspicions, they loved each other regardless

Ranking Taylor Swift's Surprise Song Combos (International Edition)

Here it is: the final ranking of the International surprise song combos. As a reminder, this is ranking the COMBINATION of all songs played on both guitar and piano together for any given night. In other words, each night of tour only gets 1 spot. Please also keep in mind, I am not taking into consideration the circumstances of the songs - for example when "bigger than the whole sky" was played, "I'll be 87, you'll be 89" line, crazier, hoax or peace being played for the first (and only?) time that I was personally waiting for, Paris in Paris, So Long, London in London, special guest appearances like Ed and Gracie etc. I am simply ranking the combination of all songs played based on how much I liked them.

I'll be posting a cumulative list that combines the US and International lists later on but for now, here is the list! The winning city is: Vancouver! Long Live x New Year's Day x The Manuscript was way too much for me to take. Even though we aren't factoring in closing night vibes, this combination mixed with a song from Debut on guitar was pushed it into the top spot. I'll always have a soft spot for OG Taylor 💚

In 2nd place is Sydney N1 with Should've Said No x You're Not Sorry & New Year's Day x peace. Both combos are devastatingly good and peace has one of what I consider to be Taylor's most heart wrenching lines: "All these people think love's for show, but I would die for you in secret"

In 3rd place is Melbourne N1 with Red & You're Losing Me. I'd love to hear You're Losing Me live one day and Red is another great choice. There was also something so simple and pleasing about getting to hear full songs without the mashups so I think that bumped this one up for me as well.

My show (Warsaw n3) ALMOST cracked the top 10. It came in at #11 with Today Was a Fairytale x I Think He Knows & The Black Dog x exile which i was thrilled to be able to get to hear in person. Out of 87 shows, being #11 is very high. I'm so grateful I was able to be there.

Prob not many ppl will be interested in this but if u have or are reading my can't we play pretend? Fic here's what I've got planned for it so far. If you have any ideas for the fic don't be afraid to let me know!

The next chapter will be a continuation of the last chapter since it was supposed to be longer. Then after that a Nuru centered chapter because I have such a need to write Abt her. Then after that one it'll be a Lance centered chapter Abt what happened whilst he babysat (I'm not great at writing lance so it might be shit but it'll serve as a fun chapter after the emotional Trainwreck this fic has been so far). Then I'm gonna add some filler chapters (leave ideas) so far I'm thinking a snow day chapter and a picnic. At some point within the fillers I'm gonna have a chapter talking abt Hugo and his bad eating habits. I also want a Rapunzel or Cassandra centered chapter because I wanna practice writing them a bit better. Then the last chapters will be ( big spoiler!) Quirin waking up and meeting Varian's new family. Ruddiger dies (ik it's sad but the longest a pet raccoon can live is like 20 years). Then after that prob just some future chapters. As the fic develops there may be more chapters and plot lines but we'll see. I'm thinking abt possibly splitting it into two fics and the second one will be a lot shorter but will explore Evelyn's character and what I think happens in the future for all the characters. I also haven't fully decided Evelyn's character I might make a future post talking abt her if u guys would be into that? Also thinking maybe some flashbacks???

Anyways maybe like one POSSIBLY two ppl will read this. It was more so just to get my thoughts down somewhere.

Post Mortem Presents

“Papaaa I forgot my gloves at th’ mystery house, can we go grab ‘em real quick?” Poll tugs on its papa's tail, giving them its biggest puppy dog eyes.

Stardust tilts their head at them.

“Nah TQ is napping, I don't wanna wake him up. We can just go now. Pleaaaase?”

Papa flicks its tail, but nods.

Poll thanks him, running to its room to retrieve its cold weather clothes. It shrugs on a fluffy oversized pink jacket, tucking their wings inside. They throw on some dark baggy pants, carefully getting their tail through the extra hole without tugging on their checkmark tail tip too much. Finally it grabs the snowshoes Papa found that fit them, feeling more like a drawstring bag with a solid round sole than an actual shoe. She taps her chin, thinking, then dives into the clothes pile, picking out a purple skirt and slipping it on over the pants. 

“Perfect!” They exclaim. They flip up their hood and tuck their ears inside.

They run over to papa, tugging on his tail again. “Ready to go papa!”

With a tug in their stomach and a disorienting jolt, they appear in front of the mystery house. It looks just the same as it did when they first came here, and the second time, and the times after that. Only this time…

“Snow!” Poll shrieks. They stomp around, throwing the snow up in the air to watch it flutter down around them.

Stardust crosses its arms and watches Poll.

“Right, right, th’ gloves.” Poll dusts snow off their jacket. “I think I left it when we were tryin’ t’ get into the locked door.” There's a door in the mystery house that they haven't managed to get into. It's always locked with no key in sight, the only thing visible inside is a purple bed. Like their skirt!

Standing in front of the locked door, they see that there's nothing there. “Hmm,” they hold their chin, “maybe I left it on th’ roof? By the garden?” He bounds up the cold stairs, Stardust trailing behind him.

Nothing. Just snow. They whine, frustrated. They must have left them somewhere!

Stardust nudges the snow with its claw, revealing dark green gloves. Poll gasps. There they are! It crouches to grab them, but recoils.

“Papa,” Poll whines, “They're frozen solid.”

It picks up the gloves for them, turning it around a few times to see that it is indeed frozen solid. It glances at Poll.

“Noooo I don't wanna go home yet, it's pretty here.” Poll cries.

All at once, Poll notices an unfamiliar set of footprints in the snow. There's their round ones, and Papa's constantly shifting ones, but there's another. It's big, bigger than Poll's, and kind of boot shaped. It trails from the door to the roof, past the garden and towards…

Towards the statue with their brother's name on it.

“Papa you stay here, I'm gonna investigates.” Poll says, patting Papa's arm. It stares at him. “Yes I'll be careful, if I need you I'll scream really really loud.”

Poll runs off before Stardust can respond.

Breaking through the treeline, Poll sees the statue. It's covered in snow, just like everything else. The candles that cover the front of the stone however, have been cleared of snow and relit. And sitting on the stone next to them, is a woman.

She's big and fat like Poll is, with long curly brown hair that is tied back with a pink bow. Her entire outfit is pink and frilly, with long puffy sleeves keeping her warm in the cold winter air. She's also wearing a skirt, although one with much more layers than its own. Poll realises a little slowly that she has long brown ears and a pair of curled goat horns. There's a sad expression on her face, her arms curled around a present wrapped in orange.

Poll takes a step forward, the crunch of its snowshoes loud in the snowy silence.

The goat lady looks up, scared, before her golden eyes finally settle on Poll. They soften and she calls out to them.

“Are you lost, honey?”

Poll shakes their head. “My name is Poll, what's your name?” They ask.

The woman hums. “My name is Doll. What are you doing all the way out here, honey? I don't recognize you. Are you from Horchata or somewhere else?”

“Horchata?” Poll asks, tilting their head. Their tail swooshes behind them, just barely dipping into the snow below.

Doll gestures vaguely. “This island, Horchata island. I don't know why it's named that.” She laughs lightly. “Are you from around here?”

“Nuh uh. I'm from a few islands away.” They don't know the name of their island, they just know it's really big.

Her eyebrows raise. “Gosh, what brings you all the way down here then?”

“I forgot my gloves.” They flex their hands out in front of them to demonstrate.

Doll's eyes soften further. She clears a spot next to her of snow and pats the stone. “How about you come sit next to me and warm up by the candles, baby.” Poll, with absolutely no sense of stranger danger, accepts and sits next to her. She grabs one of its claws gently, warming it in her hand. “You're an Egg, right?”

“Yeah! Are you?” Poll asks, basking in the warmth she gives off.

Doll laughs. “No baby, I'm a goat hybrid. I just figured that you were an egg because of your hands. And that tail I see wagging under your skirt.” Poll flushes, pressing their tail against their leg. Doll squeezes their hand. “Don't feel ashamed baby, I have a tail too. It's just tucked into my pants so it doesn't freeze off.” She stares at Poll, scanning them for something. “I'm sorry if this is sensitive, but do you have a parent? Have they gotten all your tasks done today?”

“I have my papa, but what tasks?” Poll asks.

“Maybe they have a different system on their island.” Doll mumbles.

Poll stares at Doll, trying to decide on something to say.

“I like your horns, Miss Doll. I have horns too, see?” It pulls its hood down, pointing at the long bumps on its head. “Mine are still growin’ though, see?”

Doll covers her mouth and barely hides the wide grin on her face. Unable to contain her excitement, she cups Poll's face with both hands, the warmth very appreciated on its frozen features. “You're just a little faun, aren't you baby? Your ears are so cute I can't stand it.” She thumbs the sensitive tips of Poll's horns, “These probably won't pop until spring, although that's just from my experience in being around some deer hybrids back home, and…” She pauses, then draws her hands back sheepishly. “Sorry, I just got excited to see another egg. You remind me a lot of my son.” 

“Your son?” Poll asks, tilting its head.

Doll nods sadly. “We lost him almost seven months ago.”

“Where did he go? Did he get lost? I'm really good at findin’ my way in forests so I can help.”

She shakes her head. “No baby, he died a long time ago.”

“Oh.” Poll feels dumb. They didn't want to upset their new friend. “I still miss some of my clutchmates sometimes. I don't know if they're alive or not. I always thought they must be, out there, but…” Poll starts tearing up. “ngh, I don't wanna cry, I'm a big kid now.” They rub their eyes hard.

Doll tuts, taking the present from her lap and placing it onto the snow below, before scooping Poll into her arms and hugging them tightly. “Shh shh, it's okay honey. I'm sure they're out there and missing you just as much as you miss them. You'll find them eventually.”

Poll sniffles, taking in as much of Doll's warmth as possible. “I hope so. I hope your son ‘s out there too. What was his name?”

There's a fond tone in Doll's voice. “Tequilla. Tequilla Ibuprofen.”

Poll's blood runs cold.

They look up at Doll, eyes now pricking her own eyes.

“T-Tequilla?” Poll stammers. They can't believe it. One of TQ's parents being at his memorial statue? He'll be so excited!

Doll waves her hand around. “I know, it's a silly name. He was named by his Father. They joked that there was alcohol in his little messenger bag and the name stuck.”

Poll should tell her that her son is alive, right? It would make her super happy! And it would make Tequilla super happy. And maybe it would jog his memory and he could figure out what happened and reunite with her. And then.. and then he'll leave and not live with Poll anymore and they'll live alone again and their brother won't talk to them anymore EVER again. 

Would Tequilla really leave if he reunited with his Momma? Would he even look back? 

Would he miss them?

Or would he be happier with his old family?

Poll doesn't want to be alone. Never ever again.

“Um…” Poll tries to think, rationalize, but the only thing they can hear is Doll's breathing and its own erratic heartbeat. They'll be alone again. “Um, I think it's a good name.” They finally say. “Wh- what was he like?” Good, deflect. Keep her from noticing that you won't meet her gaze.

Doll hums. “He was wonderful. He was always the sweetest boy, and very talkative. He had this stutter than he struggled with once he got old enough to talk, and we didn't really have the resources to do speech therapy with him. But it never did seem to deter him. He was.. adventurous. We always tried to keep an eye on him but he would slip away if we missed him for even a second. And oh, he was clingy. The kid practically lived at my heel or one of his other parent's. He was also very brave. He was never upset that his right horn would never grow; he was more occupied with the fact his crack made him match his Dad's scar.”

That's definitely its brother. “So um… is that present for him?” They ask, gesturing towards the orange box in the snow. 

Doll nods. “We never did get to celebrate Christmas with him. I wanted to bring him a present, so he knew I still cared for him. But… well I know he'll never see this. He's gone.” She goes quiet for a long moment. “Here.” She presses the present into Poll's tiny hands. “I want you to have it. So that at least someone will get use out of it.”

Poll looks down at the present in their hands, and feels the immense guilt wash over them. If they told her now, she would get angry.

“Thank you miss Doll.” They mumble.

Doll smiles, ruffling Poll's hair. “I'm going to leave now. There's too many memories here. You should probably meet back up with your papa. I'm sure they're getting worried for you by now.” She stands and dusts off her skirt. “Merry Christmas, Poll.”

Poll watches as she walks away, into the forest away from the mystery house.

They clutch the orange wrapped gift in their hands.

And hide it in their coat. They'll put it away under the bed where Tequilla won't find it.

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #352

I went to bed entirely too late last night. I wanna say I was up until after 4 in the morning. And then my body decided that 8:30ish in the morning was the time to wake up. I was a little disappointed.

I was supposed to go to my friend BB's house to help her get stuff done. But today is cold and windy and we're supposed to get snow squalls on and off throughout the day. She and I both figured that it's safest if I stay home. I will go see her next Wednesday, assuming we don't have additional inconvenient winter weather.

The result is that I have unexpected free time on my hands. I'm not actually sure what to do with myself, admittedly.

Well. I did wash all the dishes from yesterday's brownie and tiramisu tea adventure. The sink is now mostly clear of dishes, and that always feels nice. I decided to make myself a breakfast after that! I decided to cut some slices from the epic awesome bread that Tr made for me, and then I toasted them in the oven for like 10 minutes! And then I put stuff on them!!

This is tzatziki sauce, black truffle butter, cream cheese, and mascarpone cheese! And all of these were very good!

I also made a bowl with cheese, salami, and roast beef! And there's some grapefruit in there, too!

I wonder if you like grapefruit. Say, does your world even have grapefruit? I know there's a bunch of stuff that your world has that mine doesn't have, like Banora White Apples, and lots of the greens and fruits common to raising chocobos. So I wonder... maybe there are some things here where I live that you don't have over where you live.

Well. Grapefruits are kind of inconsistent. Sometimes they're sweet and juicy and wonderful! But then... sometimes they taste kinda like stomach acid. You're more likely to get a good grapefruit when they're in season, but you don't really know what you're gonna get until you peel it and try it. It's a little sad like that. But this is true of a lot of fruits, I think. Sometimes, for example, a strawberry is sweet, but sometimes it's rather tart. You don't know until you bite into it.

...Suppose it's why I don't eat as much fruit as J would like me to. I find the uncertainty of it to be rather stressful.

The grapefruit today was sweet and delicious, though! It was so nice that I gave J a few slices so he could enjoy it, too! I wonder if you would have enjoyed it if I had given you a few slices of this grapefruit, too...

Hey, Sephiroth? Do you have a favorite fruit? I wonder. Mine is probably either pineapple or carambola. Or maybe plantains, too. Plantains are kinda like bananas, but they have a richer and more complex flavor. Ripe ones are amazing, baked in the oven with a little butter, cinnamon, and sugar...!!

...Maybe if I can find ones in the grocery that look good, I'll make some for you. Come to think of it... I wonder if pumpkin-plantain bread is a thing that can be made... Hmmm...

Well. I finished up the rest of the tiramisu tea today, too. When I pulled it out of the fridge, it settled out into layers, with the cocoa and vanilla seeds settling to the bottom, and the creamier ingredients floating on top:

It's easy enough to mix the ingredients back together if I shake the jar! And, as predicted, the stuff is just as tasty chilled as it is hot!

...I wish you could try some...

It is cold and windy and cloudy and sleepy today. I don't expect to do much. Though, since O visited the house, I'm feeling a little inspired to play a game called Hades. It's about a Greek god called Zagreus who comes out from under the thumb of his father, Hades. There's a lot of nuance and intrigue to it, I think. It's been forever since last I've played it, so I'm probably not any good at it anymore. But maybe I'll do it anyway. I'll do it over here, just in case you wanna hang out:

Wait as an Athenian I wanna know what stereotypes other areas towns and cities have of us! I already know what some arw gonna be (πρωτευουσιανοι and all that) but I'm curious if certain areas anything specific for us!

ahahahha okaay! Let the salt commence! These are stereotypes (and we all know what that means) so please, Athenians I speak with, don't feast on my carcass, please and thank you xD I obviously know dozens and dozens of Athenians and have family there, so I am drawing from the experience of many similar occasions and what other non-Athenians have told me. I will speak about the urban center.

Let me start with the positives because they are not too many 😂😂😂😂😂 (okay there are many, I just feel I don't need to explain them that much!)

Obviously Athens is full of creative and strong people, people who have decided to get by in life no matter what, and I admire them for that quality. Fast-paced environments and chaos is not as big a challenge to them. I mentioned that the North is very resilient as well. The truth is we are all resilient, just in different ways, depending on our environment and I love seeing these differences.

Athens has all sorts of people so you can find all the good qualities there. Athens can be hard to withstand for many different reasons - especially if you struggle with a physical and/or mental illness, and/or poverty - but Athenians rise through the hardships. Whatever new thing comes from Exoteriko, they grab it by the horns and bend it to Greek standards.

Ok, onto the bad ones! The grace period is over 😈

Athenians are out of touch the way US is out of touch with the rest of the world. Like, there's just "them and the countryside (Επαρχία)" although the Επαρχία literally includes Thessaloniki with 1 mil people. They also treat Thessaloniki, one of the major Balkan urban centers, as if it's a primitive village that one doesn't even need to visit just because it's not as big as Athens. The whole country goes to Athens once in their life but Athenians don't feel like they have to go somewhere. Some are... I'd say... shocked when they find innovation and excellence up here, let's stay at that :P

Two Athenians I've spoken with so far didn't know what a Poliouchos is... I mean Athens has a Poliouchos as well but they might not notice that other towns have a Saint just like they do and each town has its own Saint?

Sometimes they take this sad face "oh... you don't have THAT in the countryside, don't you?" and it feels offensive if we have it and offensive if we don't xD Or "oh! You have that, too, like in Athens?" Like..... yes dude, we also have running water and cars, thank you very much. Sometimes they might ask you "how did you expect me to know??" Like bruuuh it's your freaking country, and you should be aware of things outside of Athens!

Or they assume that because there's a certain microclimate in Athens, that this climate is on the whole of Greece. And they tell tourists weather stuff about the whole country regarding temperatures and snow that only apply to Athens and a few nearby areas.

Some 25+ year-old Athenians think that being an Athenian gives you status in the eyes of other Greek areas - no it absolutely doesn't 😂 - and they might be ashamed if they show some culture/mannerisms/words from their village in front of other Athenians. Or if a non-Athenian does something that's not usual in Athens, they go "ooh you guys do THAT over there!" in a manner of a white American lady says "how adorable!" 😂😂

Or they insist on carrying themselves with a certain attitude of "hello my humble peasant subjects" when they return to their birthplace or visit other areas for tourism, as though they feel that if they don't do it they will shame THE PROTEOUSA.

Sometimes it shows in series and movies - that are obviously produced in Athens - of an Athenian going somewhere "away from civilization" to clear their soul or find a person opposite to them, and this special exotic place is Sparti or Sifnos or whatever random place the other half of Greece lives in.

Although there's some exaggeration in the previous idea, sometimes it is true that you can tell whether someone is an Athenian from how uptight they are because they are used to a constantly moving and busy environment.

That being said, Athens is not THAT busy compared to most capitals and Important places around the world. Some Athenian professionals are so dedicated and such high achievers that perhaps they think they live in NY, Hong Kong, or Brussels. Chiiiill my guys, chill.

Actual discussion I had with a friend: Me: You know these Athenians came and they were like... like.. Him: Like Athenians, you mean? Me: YES, THANK YOU, YOU GET IT

And let me sneak in the fact that "σε λέω" is more grammatically correct than "σου λέω" because "σε" was evolved first from the ancient form and "σου" came second✨

Snow leopards are extremely territorial and have massive boarders along mountains. That picture you found is from the winter season and isn't comparable to the summers and springs that they are not used to. If you think an Apex predator enjoys being in such a small space where they can be stared at instead of the mountain regions where they can avoid humanity you clear know jack shit about solitary predators. Its grating you would even argue in defense of such conditions.

Anyway, the snow leapard has hunting, tracking, boarder marking and gaurding instincts that need to be exercised and stimulated brain wise. Being denied that stimuli will of course cause issues in their mental state. It's disgusting to think that just because you and others are fine with just having a room and being confined to said room, that its enough. It's not enough and its psychology damaging to the animal.

You both just love to argue even when you are fucking wrong. Like holy shit. If I see a cat Alex predator from Mongolia in the summer in a warmer climate that's my fucking experience. Heavy panting dude, ears flat, one of then pacing with a twitching tail.You just showed your ass. Your both fucking terrible.your excuse is simply "they are happy some what of the time and the bare minimum is done so shut the fuck up you offend me."

I love that all this started because of a random post. Remember this girlies, this was because of one post on my own blog. This is just sad.

I didn't post the picture to be like "Lol Canada summers aren't hot, you dumb :P", if you actually read the post, it was in connection to the size of the enclosure, which is pretty standard for a cat that size. Tying it into the natural habitat of the snow leopard, yeah, having more space for them would be great. Having them in the wild were they can survive is great, no one is saying that isn't true.

But you have to be realistic ffs. We can't put them back in the Himalyas because these are captive bred leopards that would die. They're here for education and conservation because there's like five snow leopards and a pack of skittles left.

Also, there's placed in the enclosure for the animal to move away from the people. I promise you captive animals do not exhibit the same reservation towards humans that wild bred do because they have grown up to be used to this common stimuli. This is basic animal behaviour 101.

Well done, you know what solitary means. But snow leopards are perfectly fine with each other in captivity. Just because something is solitary in the wild doesn't mean that same behaviour is exhibited 1:1 in captivity. Obviously this isn't every single case because animals have personalities, and some just don't wanna be with each other.

You know what happens next? They get separated. They move to different zoos. The snow leopards are fine with each other and with people, otherwise they would never leave their fucking bed.

And yes, snow leopards, like every other animal on this planet, exhibits behaviours like territory marking, like patrolling, like hunting, so you know what zoos do? They give toys and different feeding strategies so that these animals have enrichment and don't just have these meals handed to them. There are plenty of ways to replicate these behaviours in a captive environment.

Which is what I'm saying. Good zoos do this, many zoos are no longer these little prisons that you see them as, stop being goofy.

Also, being in an enclosure that's properly suited to them isn't psychologically damaging to an animal. You tried to use inflamatory words by comparing their den to the size of a small living room, trying to equate it to something bad.

I said that it's literally their bedroom, and the enclosure is big enough to suit them given the size of the snow leopard. Stop trying to use big words when you clearly don't understand what you're trying to say. If unethical zoos are not catering to the animals needs as they should be doing, that is on the zoo in question, not zoos in general.

Also, I'm sorry, do you want zoos to magically change the fucking weather? Do you also realise that it gets warm in the mountain sections that snow leopards are found at, that they can migrate further down to where it can get as warm as 20 degrees? Yes, animals exhibit these behaviours when hot, that doesn't mean they're being fucking abused because literally every animal does that.

That's why the zoos gave them the fucking coolers in the first place. You give them things to help with the temperature, whether that's ice and establishing shaded spots for when it's hot, and giving them shelter and bedding for when it's cold. This literally isn't abuse, you're just being so emotional over seeing an animal panting and thinking that it's cruel when there's literally things in place to help combat that, they can't change the fucking weather.

Also pacing and tail twitching doesn't automatically mean the cat is distressed? Excessive pacing yes, but just saying these behaviours and immediately equating them to stress is wrong, because these things can have a range of different meanings.

You came in here showing your ignorant asscheeks. The animals aren't "happy some of the time", they live in an environment that they grew up in that gives them the best that the zoo can offer. They have security, they have food, they have medical care for when they're sick, and they have enrichment to make sure they're not bored.

You know what happens if they're in the wild like you want them to be, and they can't hunt successfully of G-d forbid get sick/injured? They die. Horribly.

Heya, Kait! Been a while, huh? A lot has happened honestly. I started to post some of my art here, even though I'm not that motivated to do digital art much-

I don't want to make this too long but I've actually gotten way more comfortable with self-shipping with the second character I told you about! I'd like to tell you a bit about him, too. His name is Yatora Yaguchi, he is from Blue Period!

Recently I've actually gotten a bit more better at my art and even a bit more confident all thanks to this media and especially Yatora. His experiences with art made me feel seen because I relate so much to how he feels and the way he learns more about art had opened my eyes in so much stuff about art as well. I'd love to ramble about how much Yatora means to me but it's gonna be extremely long, honestly.

He is a very emotional and insecure guy deep inside and he tries his best with art and even to have good relationships with the people around him, even if he doesn't fully agree with them. He is friendly and I love his appearance a lot. The fact he cries easily and blushes very easily makes me appreciate him even more, he's so cool istg- I find how hard he works very admirable and so much stuff about him.

I still tend to focus on Saeyoung as well sometimes but my main focus is Yatora for now. Although, I do want to focus more on the redhead, Saeyoung has also helped me through a lot in my life and I feel grateful for both him and Yatora.

I tried redoing Saeyoung's route once more and I still feel myself loving this precious redhead. I just wish I could focus on the both of them equally. Even if I could do a crossover between the two, I'm not really sure about it so I just imagine two different versions of myself in their worlds.

But I am kinda sad there's not a lot of fics, fanart (ngl it's mostly ship art even though there's.. no romance in the actual series) and other stuff of Yatora. At least we have an anime of this series and a lot of manga panels of this boy, even official merch and more but I can always write self-inserts or even random prompts I find online. Even though the manga is still ongoing, I'm thinking of not doing many self-inserts with Yatora yet. I do wanna see the whole story fully before inserting myself into it. Though I know it's gonna take months, even years.

Other stuff.. I'm at my grandma's! I'm still kinda sad I can't use a bike because it has some problems, we still have cats, chickens, actual ground outside I can walk for a while and even going to the beach by my uncle's car. And I won't lie, it feels.. lonely a lot here? I don't do much during the day, sure I draw here and there but that's it mostly.

The people that used to come out to play with balls and even ride their bikes aren't really here anymore. They grew up and stopped coming. So I'm just trying to get through the days as much as I can.

And one thing that actually happened recently.. remember when I named you after a Snow Wraith, Kait? Sadly, the game shut down a while ago. And the thing is that it actually shut down the exact same day I came at my grandma's. I don't mind that I wasn't on at the last moments of this game but man, it's still something.

It's insane how all my dragons must be at the hidden world by now. I actually started that account when I was here at my grandma's. So the game ending the same day I finally came at my grandma's makes me feel some type of way.

I actually used to play that game for at least 7+ years and then settled on working on one account, no matter how long it took, which was this one. I actually had most dragons but them making everything free at the end which allowed me to get everything and get them to the max instantly felt kinda.. off.

So for 2-3 days. I flew around with every single one of my dragons, fed them fully and took off their saddles before saying goodbye. I took screenshots of every single one of them, too. It feels weird but this game was really fun sometimes.

I think I'll end my rambling here, I'd love to send asks about Yatora and Saeyoung and ramble about them. Yatora gets really flustered just like our redhead Saeyoung and it's making me smile a lot. Although at Yatora's side, he isn't exactly a dude who teases someone else or flirts. I love how even though Yatora and Saeyoung have some similarities, they are still different.

Hello, hello! I'm happy to hear that you're doing better. I'm sorry that your favorite dragon game shut down its servers. I've had two games do that this year and it really bites. It definitely makes me wish there was a way to get tangible offline versions of our favorite games so it would never be lost, but that's a tough bargain in our society. All that leaves us with is the memories, and that's not too bad, because we'll always have those.

I don't know anything about Blue Period but I've seen the art before and it looks pretty! I think it's great when you find a character who's capable of reaching you and showing you something that you didn't know about yourself until you dove into the story. Like, it's important to have those experiences with characters, regardless of if we love it or not.

Sometimes, you need a hard mirror to look at instead of a soft way. I feel that way about some characters. As much as I love growth from tenderness, damn, sometimes we need a smack in the face to see a new angle we never imagined before, you know what I mean? I get it from the strangest places! So, yeah. It's not weird.

When it comes to tying to your different loves together, there is no right or wrong way. I definitely enjoy crossovers where I can find the best way to see myself with all my favorite characters, or at least, two of them because I love world-building and seeing where that goes...

I am just that kind of person, though! I can't tell you how interesting it is to have my brain debate the best way to tie together Obey Me and Mystic Messenger or Mystic Messenger and Tears of Themis or what have you!

I'd love to hear you babble about your new love whenever you get the chance to! I've got a lot of free time and I love talking to my buddies online about everything, not just MM.

If you're doubtful of that working out, though, don't worry about trying to tie them all together, friend. You don't need to tie those universes together if it's hard or you're getting comfort in different ways from each character. Not everything has to unite, sometimes you just need to have things pushed apart!

I'm doing alright these days. Some days are tough, some days are easier, and some are in the middle. Pain flares have been more often these days, though. It makes it hard to write so I'm not putting out as much as I want, but hey, health comes first and that's just how it is. I can't nudge myself into exhaustion. Saeran wouldn't like that and it's that fact that keeps me taking care of myself. Cheesy, but it works, I think that's a good thing.

Right now, I'm working on some self-care. I want to put out another installment in my self-insert series with Ray... I've got the plot set up and I'm so close to getting things where I want them to be.

Scott probably got over double life and assumes the same for Pearl (how can he not when Pearl agreed they were BOTH over it (of course he did put her in the spotlight cause clearly she is not over it)) but he probably was like 'hm how can show that we really are over it? I got it ill make a joke about it!' which is fine but maybe he should of not picked the powder snow thing out of literally anything.(it's like haha remember when you use to cut yourself like 😬) I know it also happened to hurt him but likeee do I need to explain?? It could of been how Pearl was a crazy ex (she wasnt) or something else.

Also those relationships were you make fun of someone can be healthy if it goes both ways!(and has boundaries) It kinda sad just see Pearl be quiet after those jokes especially since it's two ppl just picking on Pearl at the same time so she can't really do anything about it.

Also the whole selective memory thing?? Yes it's kinda true, but with contexts it's kinda ironic because he talked about Pearl using powder snow when he started the whole abuse cycle. But like he didn't mean to gaslight Pearl, he actually just forgot.

Btw I'm not defending Scott, even if you hurt someone on accident you still need to apologize I'm just saying, I don't think in this one he was this mastermind abusing Pearl he generally wants to reconnect with her, but he is also sabotaging himself at the same time. I just think he feels really guilty about double life and doesn't wanna admit what he did was wrong. But he is also way over correcting and you get this weird awkward vibe.

Now Cleo idk it did seem intentional I'm not going to lie. (I haven't watched their pov yet so maybe my perspective will change)

(remember this is character not cc. CC!Pearl clearly isn't actually traumized by double life nor did she actually do self harm (I hope so). Also in cc perspective the whole "bullying" isnt even close to bad 💀. Like just making fun of your friend rp character they did two years ago isn't that deep. Also if they did have an actual problem the would talk about it privately by now, but were looking at this at a character angle).
