Bossam: Steal the Fate. 7-8
Story: 8-9
Acting: ďżź10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Haechi (kdrama); Queen: Love and War (kdrama); 100 Days My Prince (kdrama)
What could of been an outstanding drama became only a mediocre historical drama for me. It fell into the draggy trap, with the repetitive back and forth that many dramas unfortunately fall into. There was many storylines that I felt was wasted and it just fell into a sour lump by the middle let half. It was sooo good too in the first half, especially with the chemistry between both Yuri an Jung ll Woo. I felt totally cheated too by that rushed ending. 🤬 In some ways I felt if they shortened the drama by editing it down some but working on a less rushed ending, this would’ve been a hit throughout. Nonetheless I still enjoyed it, just not as much as I thought I originally had in the first half.

Ep1 and Ep2 Blood Free Short review
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So I was not planning to watch this drama due to no romance ..and I was right after watching ep2 as the main lead guy is married and with child😫
Tumblr media
I thought it was just a random family die picture but they were alive and texting him too
But the chemistry between hyo joo and ji Hoon ..can I root for them to be together depsite he's being married man ?
Tumblr media
So far the story progressed is average but fast..also there are some familiar faces from other drama I watch..so I'm seated
Tumblr media
From 39 and do bong soon guy
Tumblr media
From killer Paradox.
So onto the drama..so much test even destroying his house
Tumblr media
But when he's back at night, the house turn fine again..I guess they clean it up after making the mess🤣
The hacking is so intriguing that I will just watch and see as I also don't know who did it plus with specific timing..maybe the glasses guy
Well not this guy ( a mystery man ) which I'm sure he got something to do with the suicide.
Tumblr media
So let's wait for next ep on Wednesday☺️ 2 more day left as I watching on monday
Please stop making me shipping them together ..or at least make his family die😅😅so I can ship them confortably

Chemistry between actors was amazing, but the storyline tho... in KDrama
Kang Sora as Oh Hara and Jung Seungjo as Goo Eun Beom in Strangers Again: the story ruined everything
Tumblr media
Lee Jaewook as Baek Kyung and Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Dan Oh in Extraordinary You:only if Baek Kyung wasn't written as a red flag by the manhwa writer
Tumblr media
Jeon Doyeon as Gil Bok Soon and Koo Kyo hwan as Han Hee Seong in Kill Bok Soon: the storyline was good for a crime thriller but unfortunate for them
Tumblr media
Moon Sangmin as Lee Jihan and Jeon Jong Seo as Na Ah Jung in Wedding Impossible :they get happy ending but the storyline was messy imo
Tumblr media
Lee Jaewook as Han Tae Oh and Choi Hee Jin as Kang Hee Joo in The Impossible Heir : yall know why. Everything in this drama was messed up except the chemistry between these two actors
Tumblr media
Ki Do Hoon as Yangcha and Kim Ji Won as Tanya in Arthdal Chronicles: basically Kim Ji Won has chemistry with everyone she acts alongside
Tumblr media
Lee Jae In as Lee Yoon Seo and Cha Woo Min as Ko Kyung Jun in Night Has Come: honestly I didn't even consider them before I saw all those edits on YT
Tumblr media
Go Youn Jung as Jung Jisoo and Seo In Guk as Kim Seong Hyeop in Death's Game: even the smallest moments between them was enough to establish how beautiful chemistry they had
Tumblr media
Lee Dohyun as Go Chang Myung and IU as Jang Man Wol in Hotel Del Luna: one of the best pairings in a KDrama to exist

𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐒: 𝐀 𝐅𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐆𝐑𝐈𝐏 (𝐑𝟏)
Tumblr media
Y/N sat in the backseat of the car, staring out the window as the city blurred by. The closer they got to the gym, the tighter her chest felt. She never should have taken that damn culinary course, she thought bitterly. If she’d just stuck to tennis, she wouldn’t be in this mess—cooking for a bunch of MMA fighters as punishment for breaking the stupid breakup agreement.
She fidgeted with her phone, trying to shake off the irritation bubbling up inside her, but her mind kept drifting back to him. His piercing blue eyes, that shock of wild white hair, and the way he looked at her—like he owned her. She scowled, her grip tightening around her phone. No matter how hard she tried to forget, “King” still had a way of creeping into her thoughts, stirring up emotions she wasn’t ready to deal with.
“Y/N,” her manager’s voice snapped her out of her thoughts. She glanced up, meeting his gaze in the rearview mirror. He looked concerned, eyebrows furrowed as he watched her. “Keep yourself in check. This is a professional gig. I don’t need you causing trouble with the fighters, got it?”
Y/N huffed, crossing her arms. "I’m fine. Just…focused."
He didn’t seem convinced but didn’t push it. “We’re almost there. Just remember, this isn’t about King. It’s about following through with your responsibilities. They’re fighters, not your enemies.”
She forced a nod, though her mind was already racing. Maybe they weren’t her enemies, but if any of them reminded her of her ex, this was going to be a hell of a long punishment. As the car pulled into the gym’s parking lot, Y/N felt a knot form in her stomach. Her manager parked the car and glanced over at her. "One more thing," he said as they stepped out, walking toward the building. "Stay away from Mr. Joo."
Y/N raised an eyebrow as they entered the gym lobby, the faint scent of sweat and metal already hitting her senses. "Mr. Joo?" she asked, trying to place the name, but her manager’s expression was dead serious as they headed toward the elevator.
"Joo Jaekyung. He’s one of the fighters you'll be cooking for. Just had his arm healed from an injury, but he's notorious for his temper. He's not someone you want to get on the wrong side of." Her manager’s voice lowered as they stepped into the elevator, the doors closing with a soft thud.
"Great," Y/N muttered under her breath, irritation already seeping in. First, she had to deal with the headache of her breakup with King, and now she had to tiptoe around some hotheaded fighter with anger issues. Perfect.
Her manager shot her a look. "I mean it, Y/N. You don’t want to cross him. Keep your head down, do your job, and stay out of his way. He’s not as forgiving as some of the other guys in there."
Y/N pressed her lips into a thin line, nodding even though a part of her bristled at the warning. With her ex still haunting her mind, the last thing she needed was another man with a temper to push her buttons. But knowing her luck, she'd probably end up meeting him first.
The elevator doors slid open, revealing the gym floor filled with fighters training, their grunts and the sound of fists hitting bags echoing in the air. Y/N took a deep breath, trying to steel herself. Whatever awaited her here, she just hoped it didn’t stir up more trouble than she could handle.
Y/N’s manager gestured for her to stay by the door as he walked across the gym floor toward the managers of Team Black, leaving her standing awkwardly on the sidelines. The clatter of weights and the rhythmic thud of punches filled the air, but it all felt distant, her mind wandering back to the memory of her ex. As much as she hated it, he was still a haunting presence, his sharp blue eyes seared into her thoughts.
Before she could sink too far into those unwelcome memories, a voice interrupted her.
"Y/n?"
She turned, and her eyes landed on Hwang Yoon-gu, a boy—no, now a young man—she used to hang out with back when she first transferred schools to live with her father. His face immediately turned beet red, and Y/N couldn’t help the grin that spread across her face. He’d always been awkward around her, and clearly, not much had changed.
"You still flush at the sight of me, twerp?" she teased, folding her arms as she leaned against the doorframe.
Yoon-gu looked like he wanted the ground to swallow him whole. "N-No, it’s just been a while," he stammered, rubbing the back of his neck as he shifted from one foot to the other. His cheeks only grew redder, which made Y/N giggle even more.
"Sure, sure," she smirked, eyes twinkling. "You haven't changed a bit, still blushing like I’m gonna bite you." She gave him a playful shove. "How’ve you been? Still running with the big dogs, I see."
He nodded, trying to compose himself. "Yeah, I’m part of Team Black now. Training, you know." He looked around as if hoping someone might save him from the conversation, but no one was paying attention.
Y/N just chuckled, shaking her head. It was good to see a familiar face, especially one as harmless as Yoon-gu. For a moment, it took her mind off the tense situation she’d been thrown into. Just as Y/N was enjoying the playful banter with the guys, her manager reappeared, a stack of papers in hand. He approached her with a mock-serious expression and playfully swatted her on the head with it. “No flirting, Y/N,” he admonished, shaking his head in mock disappointment.
Standing beside him was Coach Park Namwook, a tall man with an air of authority that commanded respect. “Team, gather around!” he called out loudly, his voice cutting through the chatter. The fighters turned their attention to him, some of them lingering in the background, while others jogged over with curious looks on their faces.
Y/N stood up straight as her manager introduced her. “This is Y/N, and she’ll be cooking meals for all of us while she’s here on rest leave from tennis.”
At the mention of "rest leave," Y/N's eye twitched involuntarily. Rest leave? The very idea of taking a break felt foreign to her; she thrived on competition and didn’t do well with downtime. The annoyance bubbled beneath the surface, but she pushed it down, plastering on a polite smile as she bowed slightly. “Hi, please take care of me.”
A few of the guys whistled in response, while others greeted her enthusiastically. The atmosphere shifted slightly as they assessed her, the camaraderie palpable. Just then, one of the fighters stepped forward, a mischievous glint in his eye. “Aren’t you Gojo’s ex?”
The air suddenly felt charged with curiosity, and Y/N’s heart sank. It was like the world around her slowed, and all eyes fell on her, waiting for her reaction. She hated the connection—hated that her past with King lingered in the air like an unwelcome ghost.
With a cool demeanor, she shot back, “That’s in the past, and I’m not interested in rehashing old drama. Focus on what’s in front of you.” The words came out sharper than she intended, cutting through the playful banter.
Just then, her manager swung the stack of papers at her head again, this time harder. “Watch your attitude!” he scolded, causing a few fighters to stifle laughter.
Y/N cursed under her breath, rubbing her head. “You should play tennis with a swing like that! Maybe you’d finally score a point,” she shot back, her irritation bubbling over as she glared at him.
Coach Park Namwook, sensing the rising tension, stepped in to redirect the energy. “Alright, team, let’s settle down. I’ll show you around the gym and introduce you to the training facilities,” he announced, his authoritative voice cutting through the chatter.
As the fighters began to disperse, Y/N let out a huff, feeling the weight of their gazes on her. She didn’t care what they thought; she was here to do a job, not to entertain their idle curiosity. The past was done, and she had no intention of letting it define her.
Yoon-gu looked at her with an impressed expression. “You really don’t hold back, do you?” he asked, a hint of admiration in his voice.
“Why should I? If they want to talk about my ex, they can get in line,” Y/N replied, her voice dripping with disdain. “I’m here to cook, not to babysit their egos.”
As she followed the group toward the training area. This was her chance to reclaim her narrative and prove she was more than just a pretty face associated with a fighter. As they made their way down the hallway, they stopped in front of a door marked with a bold “Authorized Personnel Only” sign. Coach Park Namwook knocked firmly and called out, “Open up!”
“Go away!” a gruff, hard voice barked from the other side, irritation evident even through the closed door.
The coach cursed under his breath, clearly annoyed. “Get your ass out here or I’ll drag you out myself!” His tone left no room for argument.
A moment of tense silence hung in the air before the sound of scrambling echoed from inside. The door creaked open, and a small man darted out, his face flushed with embarrassment. He barely managed to squeeze past the coach before stumbling into the hall.
Behind him, lounging on a bench, was a giant of a man, his massive frame taking up nearly the entire seat. His arms were crossed over his broad chest, and he wore an expression of pure rage, his jaw clenched tightly. The contrast between the small man and the giant was almost comical, but the tension radiating from the larger man was palpable.
Y/N couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, intrigued by the scene. “What was that all about?” she asked, her tone laced with curiosity.
The small man straightened up, trying to regain his composure, but embarrassment still lingered in his eyes. “Nothing! Just a little… misunderstanding,” he stammered, shooting a nervous glance at the angry giant.
Jaekyung glared at his teammate , the intensity of his gaze making the small man shift uncomfortably. “You call it a misunderstanding; I call it a waste of my time,” he growled, his voice low and menacing.
Coach Park shot Jaekyung a disapproving look. “Calm down, Jaekyung. You can save your anger for the ring. No need to take it out on your teammates.”
Y/N’s interest piqued at the mention of Jaekyung. This must be Joo Jaekyung, the fighter she’d been warned about. She couldn’t help but feel a mix of apprehension and excitement at being in the presence of someone with such a reputation.
She stepped forward slightly, her demeanor challenging. “What’s the matter, big guy? Can’t handle a little noise?” she quipped, her earlier irritation resurfacing. She couldn’t resist pushing his buttons a bit; there was something about the way he carried himself that amused her. She stepped forward slightly, her demeanor challenging. “What’s the matter, big guy? Can’t handle a little noise?” she quipped, her earlier irritation resurfacing. She couldn’t resist pushing his buttons; there was something about the way he carried himself that intrigued her.
Jaekyung didn’t respond, his glare unyielding and fierce. Y/N held his gaze, the tension thickening in the air, and then it finally clicked for her. “You’re that motherfucker they call the Tyrant, aren’t you? I remember now—King was supposed to fight you but you ended up breaking your arm, right?”
At the mention of his injury, Jaekyung leaned forward, a storm brewing in his dark eyes. “Shut the fuck up,” he snapped, his voice low and dangerous.
Y/N couldn’t help but smirk at his response, her confidence unfazed. “Wow, nice way to treat a fan,” she replied coyly, tilting her head as if genuinely amused by his aggression.
The air between them crackled with anger , and despite his rage, Y/N felt a thrill course through her veins. She lived for this shit. Just as the charged atmosphere reached its peak, her manager stepped in, his voice cutting through the tension. “Y/N, enough! Stop it right now, or I swear I’ll extend your rest time,” he warned, clearly exasperated.
Jaekyung, not taking kindly to the exchange, stood up abruptly, his towering frame towering over her. Without hesitation, he brushed past her, his shoulder harshly colliding with hers. “Don’t fuck with me, bitch,” he growled as he passed, the force of his movement sending a jolt of pain through her.
Y/N yelped at the sudden impact, clutching her arm. “Shit! Tell that to him! Can he not take a joke?” she shot back, a mixture of indignation and disbelief filling her voice.
The unexpected interaction had left her rattled, but she refused to back down, even as the anger in Jaekyung’s gaze lingered. She could feel the heat rising in her cheeks—not from fear, but from the thrill of sparring with someone so volatile. In her world, this was just another match, and she was determined to win. Her manager motioned for Y/N to step aside, clearly needing a moment with her. “Y/N, what the hell was that? You can’t just provoke him like that! Do you want to get yourself hurt?” he scolded, frustration evident in his tone.
Y/N crossed her arms defiantly, rolling her eyes. “Fuck this, I’m going home,” she declared, the earlier adrenaline now replaced with a simmering irritation. She had no intention of letting anyone dictate her actions, especially not some hot-headed fighter.
As she turned to storm out, she heard a small voice call after her. “Noona, where are you going?” It was Hwang Yoon-gu, the kid she had playfully teased earlier. His wide eyes were filled with concern, and for a moment, she felt a twinge of guilt.
“I have to ice my shoulder,” she replied tersely, not slowing her pace. But just before she exited, she glanced back at Jaekyung, who stood with his arms crossed, his expression still unreadable. With a smirk, she raised her middle finger at him. “See you around, Tyrant!” she called out, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
The gesture hung in the air for a moment, and Jaekyung’s eyes widened in surprise, a mixture of anger and something else flickering across his face. Y/N relished the moment, feeling empowered by her defiance. She stepped out of the gym, the tension still crackling behind her, and knew she wouldn’t let this be the last encounter with the man who had gotten under her skin.
/🌑/
Y/N stepped into the night, feeling the thrill of defiance coursing through her veins. Her skimpy outfit hugged her body in all the right places, and as she lit a cigarette, the smoke curled around her like a protective veil. The distant sounds of laughter and chatter from Team Black reached her as they passed by, their energy palpable.
One of the guys called out a casual "Hi, y/n!" and her gaze fell on Jaekyung standing at the back of the pack. His presence stirred something within her, a mixture of irritation and undeniable attraction. Just then, Yoon-gu, ever eager, approached her, eyes wide with curiosity.
“What are you doing out here?” he asked, tilting his head slightly. Before she could reply, her date—a muscular MMA fighter with an easy smile—slipped his coat over her shoulders. She flashed a coy smile, leaning into the warmth of his gesture. “Big things, little one,” she teased, glancing at Yoon-gu. The boy's cheeks flushed at her innuendo, a combination of admiration and embarrassment evident in his expression.
As the men began discussing their upcoming fights, Y/N felt Jaekyung's eyes on her, an intense gaze that made her pulse quicken. She turned to him, arching an eyebrow in challenge, enjoying the electric tension hanging in the air. Minutes passed the conversation still flowing, and she leaned closer to her date, whispering something that made him rub the back of his neck sheepishly.
“I can’t do that to King,” he murmured, his expression a mix of arousal and guilt.
Y/N rolled her eyes, a smirk creeping onto her lips as she flicked her cigarette to the ground. “That’s too bad,” she said, her voice dripping with playful disdain. With a decisive movement, she shrugged off his jacket, letting it fall to the ground as she turned away. The thrill of leaving him behind, and the heat of Jaekyung’s gaze at her back, propelled her forward. She stepped into the night, knowing this wouldn’t be the last time they crossed paths, and that the tension between her and Jaekyung was only just beginning to grow.
As Y/N slid into her car, the night still buzzing around her, her phone rang with an unknown number flashing on the screen. She hesitated for a moment but answered, her curiosity piqued.
“Why’d you and that bleached-headed moron break up? You couldn’t stick to one dick?” Jaekyung's voice dripped with sarcasm, igniting a flash of irritation in her throat.
She laughed, shaking her head as she turned the key in the ignition. “We broke up because our coaches said we were too rough with each other, you asshole,” she shot back, smirking as she backed out of her parking space.
“Yeah, right. That’s what they all say,” he countered, his tone mocking but edged with curiosity. “You just can’t handle being tied down, can you?”
Y/N couldn’t help but scoff at his arrogance. “You know, for someone who has to fuck to even win a match, you’re awfully curious about the wrong thing, tyrant,” she sneered over the phone, her voice dripping with defiance.
“How the hell do you know that?” he hissed, the surprise evident in his tone.
“Your boy toys aren’t that quiet, Joo,” she shot back, laughter bubbling up as she stopped at a red light, the pulse of the city surrounding her.
There was a moment of silence on his end, and she could almost picture him fuming. “You think you know everything, don’t you?”
“Just enough to keep you on your toes,” she replied, a mischievous grin forming on her lips. “And to remind you that I’m not the only one who’s hard to handle.”
“Keep telling yourself that,” he retorted, but she could hear the annoyance mixed with amusement in his voice.
“Why? Is it working?” she teased, glancing in the rearview mirror.
“Yeah, right,” he scoffed, but she could sense his interest lingering beneath the bravado.
The light turned green, and she shifted into gear, her mind racing with thoughts of their back-and-forth. “I’ve got places to be, Jaekyung,” she said, the thrill of their conversation igniting her spirit.
“Yeah? You think you can just run away?” he challenged, his tone sharp and playful.
“Why not? It’s what I do best,” she shot back, revving the engine as she sped off into the night, their banter still crackling in her ears. Y/N knew this wouldn’t be the last time they crossed swords, and the thought made her pulse race even more.
“You know the bad thing is,” Y/N said, her voice smooth and taunting, “I heard from a friend that your dick was a 10/10. Too bad you’re such an ass.”
Before he could respond, she hung up, a satisfied grin spreading across her face. The thrill of their argument pumped through her veins as she pressed the gas pedal, speeding into the night. The city lights blurred past her, each pulse of the engine mirroring the adrenaline coursing through her.
As she navigated the streets, a mixture of triumph and irritation simmered within her. Jaekyung’s barbed words still echoed in her mind, but she couldn’t shake the exhilaration that came from sparring with him. He had a way of getting under her skin, and even though she despised it, a part of her relished the challenge. She turned up the music, drowning out the chaos of her thoughts, the beat syncing with her racing heart. Tonight, she would forget about Jaekyung and the way he made her feel—at least until their next encounter.

Im So Y/n I’m 18 years old and I’m the leader of a mafia group my adoptive father used to own. My biological mom didn’t want me so now I’m the daughter of a highly dangerous mafia boss. I was split from my sister at birth since the woman didn’t want to deal with twins as a single mother so she gave me up. My boyfriend that was killed by the same group is the father of my baby that is now almost 2 years old. My son’s name is Minjun and I will always protect him no matter what.
I have people that check on my twin sister Mi-joo because I want her protected since she’s a very frail girl, I recently found out that our mother has been abusing her for every little thing she does, and she’s been getting bullied by four girls their names are So-min, Hajun Jiyun and Chae-yoon, they had beaten her tho the point where she was put in the hospital.
I was with her as she was passed out in the hospital bed “I told you guys to watch over her, by that I mean stop ANYONE that tried to hurt her!” I cross my legs and put my index finger and thumb in the bridge of my nose, I beckoned them to leave and that’s exactly what they do.
Mi-joo woke up and looked at me in shock seeing that I’m the exact copy of her except that I have short hair and I have long hair. “W-who are you….?” I look at her and held her hand “I’m your twin, and I’m here to help you get your revenge” “what do you mean?” I look at her determined to keep her safe “I’ve seen the videos of those girls bullying you and I know your mother also treats you badly so please let me do this for you” she nodded and my body guard bought me the school uniform and I was ready to go to the school tomorrow.
I took Mi-joo to my home and she saw my son with my secretary and smiled “who’s this cutie” she smiled and squished his cheek, “he’s your nephew” she looked at me shocked “you had a child?!” “Yeah it’s a long story, the father died…” “do you wanna talk about me” she looked at me with sympathy “not right now, because right now is for you to tell me who else has been hurting you” she sighed and nodded “the girls names are-“ “So-min, Jiyun, Hajun and Chae-yoon, I know… I found all their details and information, is there anyone else” she looked surprised and nodded “there’s this teacher. He keeps touching me and I keep trying to tell him that I’ll call the police but he won’t leave me alone and he gets aggressive.”
Hearing that made my blood boil, I wanted to kill that man and I wanted to do it painfully. “And then there’s mom as well” I look at her and held her shoulder “Mi-joo shii, don’t worry, I’ll make sure they all get what they deserve” Mi-joo nodded and smiled at me. The next day I got ready and made my way to the school.
Everyone looked at me and I gave them all a cold look, I didn’t come here to make friends so I didn’t care about being friendly, I walked into the classroom and looked at the desk that had Mi-joo’s name on it but it was written in pen and had horrible things on it. The 4 girls walked up to me and I immediately knew that So-min was the leader of those bitches.
“Do you like what we did? It’s a little get well soon present…. Just. For. You” she laughed and that laugh was the same one as the girl that was videoing my sister getting tortured. I grabbed her head and slammed it into my sisters desk, I watched as the three girls tried to get me off her but instead I kicked them away causing So-min to scream for me to stop. I look at her and pull her hair.
“You know what? Since you like laughing so much, why don’t you laugh for me!” I took my phone out and pinned her head on the desk, she was scared but I push it harder causing her to do as I say, she finally laughs and I video it, I let go of her and as I was walking to the back by the door to sit in that seat and as I was walking a male student walked in at the same time, we looked over at each other for a brief second but my eyes drifted away as soon as I sat down I airdropped the video to everyone in the class and everyone but the group of bullies were laughing.
The walked in and everyone stopped laughing “what’s so funny?” Everyone stayed silent making her introduce the guy I was looking at who is knew and his name is Kang Yeosang. The whole time in school I was following the rapist teacher, I found out that he had asthma, and seeing his schedule I found out that he’s usually alone during homeroom and lunch, after school I decided to meet with mother dearest.
I’ve never been inside of the house but I wouldn’t have never thought that she was the cause of Mi-Jo’s depression and that she was one of the reasons why Mi-joo was cutting herself. Knowing this made me angrier and angrier. As soon as I stepped into the house the toxic bitch slapped me. “Why haven’t you been at home and what did you do to your hair!!” I started fake crying and apologizing to see if she will have some sympathy for her own daughter but she just slapped me again making me laugh.
“What the fuck is wrong with you” she had said to me and I cross my arms, “you hurt my baby sister… now it’s your turn” she looked at me confused then she realized “Y/n….” the people in my group appeared behind her and knocked her out, they picked her up and tied her arms together behind her back and tied her leg to the leg of the chair. I decided to make her feel what Mi-joo felt, I slit her wrists and I wanted her to wake up so I pored freezing cold water over her head causing he to wake up and cream in pain, I held a lighter close to her face and put it down to her hand and burnt her finger tips.
“Why did you even have kids in the first place?” She looked at me and smirked “are you wandering why I put you up for adoption? It’s because i didn’t love you both, twins were too much to handle and I needed a child so they can help me clean up” I looked at her and sat down on the chair opposite to her “hmmm I should kill you right now” I looked down at the gun that I took out and started playing with it, her smirk turned into death as she begged me not to kill her and started going on about how she loved me and Mi-joo which made me laugh. “But that’s too easy and I don’t want you to give you the easy way out” I looked over at the guys “guys leave her here until I come back”
I drove home and as soon as I got there I saw my Minjun playing with my sister. As soon as he saw me he ran to my arms and I smile kissing his cheek. “What happened today?” I looked at her as I sat on the couch “I beat up those girls tortured our evil mother and now I’m thinking about slowly killing that teacher” she looked over at me “are you gonna kill our mother…?” “Do you want me to?” She shook her head and I nodded “okay but I’ll make sure she stays quiet” Mi-joo nods.
The day flew by quickly and I was getting ready to go to school, I kiss my sons cheek and hugged my sister telling her that I’m torture the girl and the teacher which she disagreed with but my mission and her sister is to help her and keep her safe. As soon as I got to the school I immediately went to go find the teacher. I had my knife with me and once I walked passed the teachers lounge he knew to follow me. Went into the classroom and I sat down on the table crossing my legs.
“Whats wrong Mi-joo? You’ve gotten better now, so we can carry on-“ I tilt my head and acted like Mi-joo “I don’t want to carry on….” I looked down and he walked to me and put his hand on my chin, “well it’s not your choice” I glared at him and punched his face making him groan in pain “see that’s what I like to hear, since you decided to hurt my sister I’ll gladly watch you suffer” he starts getting an asthma attack and I walked further away from him sitting on a different table “oh… right you need your inhaler?” I had the inhaler in my hand as I had gloves on, he was slowly walking to me and I put the inhaler next to me watching him collapse on the floor as he was slowly loosing air. I giggle as I watched as he was slowly looking his breath as he was getting closer and closer to the inhaler “come on, you can do it. Just. Keep. Crawling” I smirked as he lost all his breath and had died practically right besides me, I stood up and left the inhaler down on the floor breaking it.
As I was walking out Yeosang came in “is he dead?” I looked over at him acting like I was upset “y-yeah, he was getting aggressive so I punched him and fell on his inhaler… I guess he had an asthma attack-“ “I know who you are” I looked at him with a cold stare “I’m like you… Y/n” I sighed and approached him pulling my knife out and had it to his neck, he smirked grabbing my arm and slowly putting my arm down.
“This school is boring and I want to help you” I step closer to him “what do you mean” “you’re one of the most powerful mafias who inherited all the money and power from your adoptive father, who taught you how to fight and kill at a young age, and is only and this school for one thing…. Revenge. Am I right?” I glare at him “how do you know so much about me?” “I have my ways… anyway can I help you?” I look at him now wanting him to help cause I’m not doing it as a proper mission “it’s for my sister” “I know, so please can I help” I look at him unsure if I can let him join “I’ll think about it”
The bell had rang so I walked back to my seat, I watched as everyone ran out after someone had said that teacher is dead in a classroom which people wanted to see the scene sing the police were on there way. “Y/n you have to leave” “why?” He held my had and was trying to get me out of the school “the police are on there way, there gonna think you did it” I looked at him and he genuinely looked worried so I reassured him that I didn’t physically kill him”
“He had an asthma attack” “then how would you explain the bruise on his nose?” I sighed and sat in my seat “he tried to threaten me and hurt me so I punched him so I could run away, he fell onto his inhaler and he had an asthma attack and died, see and anyway if they think they got me, I have connections on the police force” I said this to him with a straight face and just tickets my head and smiled.
“Y/n….” I turn around seeing someone that I thought I’d never see again.

i'm back boo ~ my demon (episodes of 1-6) ramblings
The past two years have made me feel like an unfinished work of pottery struggling to stay together on a tilted pottery wheel. Through this process, not only has my sense of normalcy, but also my idealism towards romance and love has greatly dissipated. This might be a digression, but as a 23 year old woman ( 14 at heart and cognitive ability), I am frankly exhausted of the convoluted "chase" involved with modern day romance. The mere preponderance of dating apps, texting culture, situationships, and avoidant-anxious pairings make me feel like I am seconds away from having a brain aneurysm explode. It is in this relational climate that the flurry of contract marriage k-dramas that have been presented to us this winter feel like a breath of fresh air. One of these shows is "My Demon" (on Netflix) starring Kim Yoon Jung (Backstreet Rookie, 20th Century Girl) and Song Kang (Nevertheless, Love Alarm, Sweet Home), who play Do Do Hee and Jeong Gu Won respectively.
Tumblr media
My Demon is a fantasy romance rooted in Catholicism (with a uniquely Korean flavor). Jeong Gu Won (Song Kang) is a centuries old demon tasked with exploiting man's innate greed, whether it be for wealth, love, or merely to be alive. He uses his powers, which emanate from a cross tattoo on his wrist, to seek desperate humans to make decade long contracts, where in return of him fulfilling their wishes, not only die by Gu Won's hand in ten years, but also are placed in eternal hellfire. There are many parallels between Gu Won and other supernatural beings we have already seen in other kdramas such as Myul Mang from Doom at Your Service. Both characters have a rigid adherence to their divine responsibilities, leading to bountiful disdain for humankind and scant mercy for their victims. However, unlike Myul Mang and other supernatural beings, who detest the burden of immortality and yearn to become "human", Gu Won has no such desire. He relishes the eternal youth, immortality, and wealth that has been granted for him and the power that he wields.
Tumblr media
The female lead, Do Do Hee, comes from an equal position of affluence, as the adopted daughter of the Mirae Group, a fictional and powerful industrialist family, helmed by matriarch Joo Cheon Seok, and the CEO of Mirae F&B, a successful food and beverage company that she started after college. As the adopted daughter and Chairwoman Ju's favorite, Do Hee earns the contempt of her other power hungry family members, who not only constantly plot However, this love also puts Do Hee in a precarious position as other members of the family constantly plot to not only undermine her company's success, but also kill her. While Do Hee as a character checks off many k-drama protagonist tropes like having a history of childhood trauma and having a strong sense of morality and loyalty, it is important to note that Do Hee is not kind to the point of being naive and foolishly selfless. She is an assertive and ambitious twenty something year old and can be considered to be an "ethical girl boss of sorts".
Tumblr media
It is due to Do Hee's precarious state that Gu Won and her meet for the second time in the first episode (the first time being a hilarious mix-up of a blind date) when she is being chased by a psoriasis-ridden murderer. Seeing his next possible victim, Gu Won arrives at the scene, hoping to make his next deal with desperate Do Hee in return for saving her. However, things take a turn and both end up falling over a railing and into the ocean. As Do Do Hee struggles to pull the unconscious Gu Won and herself up to the surface, something interesting happens- the cross tattoo that was once on Gu Won's wrist is transferred to Do Do Hee's. It is this transfer that ends up being a pivotal turning point in the story and forms the crux of the plot.
Tumblr media
What ensues over the next few episodes is the gradual development of a push-pull dynamic between the two characters when they realize that the murder attempt from before would not be the only effort to take Do Hee's life and the fact that without the tattoo, Gu Won's powers only work when he holds Do Do Hee's hand. With Gu Won needing Do Hee to harness his powers and continue to maintain his immortality and Do Hee requiring Gu Won's powers to protect herself, this sets up the perfect premise for what is initially a relationship of convenience between bodyguard and employer and later husband and wife.
Tumblr media
My Demon isn't meant to be the show that leaves its viewers with sleepless nights pondering purpose of their existence or the meaning of love. At its core, it's a hilarious, appropriately paced, and well executed romantic comedy with strong willed protagonists overcoming their egos to realize that their need for the other is actually an insatiable want. This is evident in the characterization of Gu-Won, who Song Kang delightfully brings to life. There's something about Song Kang that allow him to play morally grey characters in a palatable and comical manner with ease. Even though he's an arrogant and narcissistic jerk, there is an inherent innocence and vulnerability that you can't help but root for. As Gu Won's relationship with Do Hee deepens, he starts to gradually becomes less demon and more human both literally and figuratively. Not only does Gu Won faced with the limitations of losing his powers, but he is also forced to address the burgeoning emotions and attachment he develops with Do Hee. While he asserts his superiority externally as an all powerful being, internally he is conflicted by the gradual shift in the dynamics between him and Do Hee as he starts to develop empathy, love, anger, and jealousy. One particular scene that exemplifies this is the funeral scene in Episode 3 when Gu Won comforts a grieving Do Hee by changing the color of her funeral outfit from black to white, so that the passed individual's soul can recognize her. It's a simple but beautiful gesture by a being, who before meeting her became so accustomed to taking lives and did little to no reflection of the gravity of death and its impact on the living. It is through several similar encounters that Gu Won is forced to confront his humanity, which he had long repressed in his transformation into a demon.
Tumblr media
This isn't to say that the show is mind-numbing entertainment and there are profound moments of introspection. Gu Won and Do Hee's relationship serves as medium for a larger ideological dilemma on right versus wrong. This is again exemplified in Episode 3 when Gu Won and Do Hee visit a pediatric cancer patient at the hospital for Gu Won to make his next deal. Gu Won brokers a deal with the child's desperate mother, promising to cure her daughter in return for her agreeing to go to hell in ten years. Do Hee is rightfully horrified by Gu Won and what she believes is him selfishly exploiting the mother, so that he can continue to prolong his existence. Furthermore, she believes that by proposing the deal, Gu Won did more harm than good because the pediatric patient would have to prematurely lose her mother.
On the other hand, Gu Won claims to have helped the mother by saving her child's life and states that everything has to have a price. Later in the episode, both Gu Won and Do Hee independently interact with the patient and her family. When Gu Won talks to the young girl, he is surprised that her wish is to not be discharged from the hospital but to not be a source of suffering for her parents. On the other hand, when Do Hee watches the family celebrating the girl's birthday, she realizes how Gu Won provided transient yet meaningful happiness for the family and reduced their suffering. These scenes poignantly depict how both characters are forced to reckon with each other's definition of justice and the complexity we face as beings with the freedom to choose but not the freedom to escape the consequences of our actions. I believe that it is the show's ability to delve into these larger themes, which allows it to retain both the best elements and escape from the mundanity of ascribing to a trope.

Rewatching W: Two Worlds
ep 5
It was absolutely heartbreaking to see Cheol find the comic books and realize his entire life is there. He sits there and reads his life story from the beginning (this was also a neat way to give us some more background on Cheol's life and some details on the prosecutor). He has to relive everything. After he is just defeated. When the bookstore employee tells him that the series has been a best seller for 5 years, all he can do is laugh. The pain of his existence is nothing more than entertainment to millions.
He goes to Yeon Joo, and even through his turmoil is able to smile and flirt with her. I like that he’s able to say that he regrets pushing her for the answers. He never expected anything like his. He’s grateful to her – her consideration and her protection. He genuinely thanks her.
Their roles are reversed - she wants him to stay with her because he has no money, house or id. He’s incredibly touched. He kisses her, and this the first real kiss they share. She is still his key, and now his only light.
Cheol, of course, cannot stay put. He goes to see Sung Moo. Going through his house incredibly only causes more trauma for him. He sees the planning boards, the character models, the sketches. He finds out that Yeon Joo is Sung Moo’s daughter and while he is hurt by this, he is not angry with her all.
In betweeen this we get the fight in the operating room between Yeon Joo and the Professor, which makes me laugh. It’s a bit of lightness in a heavy episode. Yeon Joo, the shipper vis the Professor, the anti. As someone who has shipped multiple couples since childhood, and has had some anti ships, this highly amused me as it felt very familiar.
The confrontation between Cheol and Sung Moo amazing. I forgot that Cheol had actually dragged Sung Moo in first. Even though Cheol is a living breathing person in that world, he stabs chooses to stab Cheol. Cheol manages to stab him but is not injured. It makes even more sense why how Cheol knew he could shoot Yoon Joo without her getting hurt.
The flashback shows a young Yeon Joo, drawing to escape her parents argument and we see what looks like an early version of Cheol
Cheol lays it all out for Sung Moo – he’s rightfully furious. Sung Moo is a miserable man, terrible husband, father and an alcoholic (I think his drinking only got worse through years).
Now Cheol says Sung Moo made Cheol the opposite of himself, but that's only really true post the attempted suicide. Up to that point his life was even more miserable than Sung Moo's. As for the suicide plot, Cheol points out the misery porn comic was the only thing Sung Moo felt he had control over. Sung Moo may not be able to commit suicide but he could make Choel do it. It’s interestingthat Cheol didn’t realize that it was not Sung Moo who saved him; Cheol saved hinmself.
I have some sympathy for Sung Moo here. Drawings changing on their own making him think he as crazy, his friends laughing at him and dismissing him, he’s an alcoholic. He does want to endure for Yeon Joo. The money he makes he wants for Yeon Joo (though he stole her character).
Cheol has the gun pointed on Sung Moo but he is unconcerned. He's deliberately cruel to Cheol. He taunts Cheol to shoot him because he, confident that his character set up is absolute and Cheol won’t deviate. It is not in his character to shoot an old man. Yeon Joo, who has been listening this entire time, KNOWS that Cheol would shoot if provoked enough.
Cheol is willing to go back to the original planned ending but it Sung Moo says it won’t work because Cheol has to understand to accept it (part of his character set up). Again, Cheol is perfectly happy going back as long as he knows who murdered his family.
The final blow is when Sung Moo reveals that there was not culprit - it was just a setup. He didn’t ever plan to let Cheol find out who it was so he didn’t need to know the identity of the killer nor did he care. I do call BS on his explanation. The hero is made when the crime isn’t solved? Ummm what?? If you are a good enough writer, the story doesn’t have to end with finding the culprit. Even disregarding that – most stories DO come to an end and finding the culprit would be a natural ending. God, how unsatisfying as a reader to have a beloved main character just get killed off for no good reason, ending the story without resolving any of the ongoing plot lines.
For Cheol, his family was real. His trauma was real. His pain and endless suffering was real because he lived it. It was not just something that Sung Moo drew.
Cheol is able to show mercy and simply asks Sung Moo to find another way. But Sung Moo can’t leave it alone. He taunts Cheol again. Cheol is HIS creation and his character set up means he won't shoot. This is what finally breaks Cheol and he shoots Sung Moo.
Sung Moo was so arrogant that he forgot the reason they became entangled is because Cheol refused to die. He’s been deviating from his determination for years.
Still have zero issues with Cheol shooting him here. He's in a highly traumatized stated and Sung Moo has tried to kill him multiple times. If I'm remembering right, even Yeon Joo didn't have much of problem with it.

Somehow has normal, alive parents: Lee Jun-ho (Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Has no backstory at all. We only meet his older sister and hear nothing about his childhood.) Shin Ha-ri (Business Proposal, her family is refreshingly normal, right down to her brother being sent out to find her when she's drunk) Oh Han-byeol (Sh**ting Stars, Again, we know almost nothing about her family, only that she has twin sisters. But she doesn't appear to have childhood trauma.) Park Yeon-woo (The Story of Park's Marriage Contract, her mom being annoyed at her for something that is a crime doesn't count as bad parenting) Lee Young-joon/Sung-hyun (What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, his trauma comes from a kidnapper, his parents faced a pretty impossible situation and did their best. They clearly love their kids) Baek Hyun-woo (Queen of Tears, nothing wrong with them out of the ordinary and they are in the drama a significant amount.) Ha Eun-gyeol (Twinkling Watermelon, very loving parents and the deafness and their reliance on him is not anyone's fault)
*Counting her as an orphan even though she gets her parents back after 20 years, she spent her childhood orphaned. ***This character is tricky because I understand why her mother wanted nothing to do with her, but her trying to manipulate the dad and also saying he didn't raise her properly made me so angry. ****This character is tricky because he was explicitly raised as an orphan by his grandma, his father didn't sign his birth certificate (Korean equivalent of this), and he's registered as the child of his grandmother, not his actual mom. His grandma is dead by the beginning of the series and he is living alone without family, so I think he counts as an orphan.
Uncatagorized due to lack of clarity on parents: Soundtrack #1, Hospital Playlist, Happiness

Jinx Manhwa Characters Ranked and Season 2 updates
After Jinx Manhwa season 1 has ended, bl fans are patiently waiting for another season. However, we won't be getting that any time soon. You can check out here for more details: Jinx Chapter 54 Release Date: Season 1 ends, and more
Now let's start with my personal basis ranking for the Jinx Manhwa Characters
7. Jeong Yosep
Tumblr media
Jaekyung spars with Yosep, who is also a previous national champion. Not only is he a coach, but he is also the oldest player on Team Black. Despite his reserved demeanor, Yosep is a generous soul who would rather let his deeds speak for themselves. Yosep was there to cheer Jaekyung on as he faced off against one of his most formidable enemies. His maturity and life experience set him apart from many who cower in the face of Jaekyung's wrath, a commendable quality in comparison to many.
6. Oh Daehyun
Tumblr media
During Dan's official introduction to the team as Jaekyung's physical therapist, Daehyun, a member of Team Black, is one of the first individuals we observe being friendly to him. When it comes to Jaekyung, he defends Dan and also shows that he has a protective side toward the other man. Because of his friendship with Dan, he is well-liked by fans and has a magnetic personality that makes him simple to like.
5. Park Namwook
Tumblr media
Team Black's coach and Jaehyung's caring manager is Namwook. He is one of the few individuals who can manage Jaekyung's erratic mood swings, and he also offers Dan guidance and watches out for him at the gym. His family—a wife, a son, and two daughters—and his career are his first priorities, and he goes above and beyond to ensure their happiness. Fans love Coach Namwook for good reason; he's always there to cheer everyone on, from his teammates to Dan, whom he falls in love with right away.
4. Yoon-gu
Tumblr media
Yoon-gu is still attempting to establish himself to his comrades despite being the youngest member of Team Black. Regardless of Jaekyung's sour disposition, he endures taunting with unfaltering trust. Because Yoon-Gu looks up to Jaekyun and wishes he could practice with him, he is initially envious of Dan's time with Jaekyun. After Dan gets him a sparring session with Jaekyung, he befriends Dan.
3. Jaekyung
Tumblr media
Joo Jaekyung has a ways to go before he is seen as likeable or the favorite of the boys, despite being Jinx's love interest and the second main character. He brings the same haughty, cold attitude to the bedroom as he does to his undefeated mixed martial arts career. He proposes to Kim Dan because he is superstitious and believes he will be "jinxed" and lose if he doesn't sleep with someone before a match. When it comes to Dan, he is harsh, and he is unpredictable with everyone else.
2. Choi
Actor Heesung is Jaekyung's colleague at the talent agency. Heesung is an awful lover, even if he's handsome and nice most of the time. When he develops romantic feelings for another man, he often finds that she is more overtly in love than he is, and he rapidly grows bored with her. Since this is the root cause of his troubled romantic history, it becomes problematic when he sets his sights on Dan. The majority of the manhwa is devoted to him pursuing Dan, but he gives up when he sees how helpless he is.
Check out the special Jinx manhwa special chapter of Choi and Potato.
1. Kim Dan
Tumblr media
As a protagonist, Kim Dan is perfect in every way. Despite his hardships, he is kind, selfless, and trying to make ends meet. Dan is practically out of luck when it comes to finding work as a physical therapist due to an incident at his last workplace and an angry supervisor. So, when superstar Joo Jaekyung makes him an enticing offer, Dan has no choice but to take it.

Random thoughts about Jazz for two episode 5-6:
Everyone has already seen all episodes but since I'm still following the schedule of Gagaoolala I'm clearly falling behind. I don't mind because it gives me something to watch on Tuesday.
What I liked in these episodes:
▪️ Everything about Do Yoon: his looks, his personality, his tragic and terrible crush to Joo Ha (What a curse to fancy someone who can't like you back) and his smile. He is remaining my favorite character. I understand why people would feel close to him easily because he is effortlessly sociable. I found very endearing how he always call Se Heon as "Honey". This character deserves happiness. I'm glad he stood up himself to Joo Ha. He backed down because he had to protect himself before getting more hurt. I do believe he did enough.
▪️ Se Heon is finding the courage to go after what he really wants: playing jazz despite all the obstacles. He was bold also to add Tae Yi's name on the paper for his exams. He is still staying positive despite being told he is not good enough. I appreciate how he stays resolute to improve and keep playing jazz because he find "freedom" in this type of music. I believe he has the right set of mind to do better in the future and reach his goal.
▪️ Tae Yi is finally opening up a little bit and it was a breath of fresh air. I was a bit wary they would keep his character being cold and unfriendly. We all know he still has the trauma of losing his brother which keep him from opening up, but it's nice that Se Heon could make him to lower his walls. Behind them Tae Yi is kind of softy and very protective too.
Things I didn’t like in these two episodes:
▪️ Se Heon's father has a problem! I don't know if he just couldn't accept his wife leaving him or if it's something else but this man needs to seek a therapist because he has to know how to manage his temper. It's infuriating how he treats his son. He is always so controlling and guild-tripping him. Also, why he is so stuck on having his younger son playing classical music?! He already has a son who is doing it. Let the younger one do something he likes as long as it's music.
▪️ The first kiss under the umbrella was really cute but it just came out of nowhere. Okay, Tae Yi was friendlier but I didn't expect them to kiss at this moment. I think a hug would have been more pertinent. Especially has they never really talked about it again after it happened. The second kiss came at the right time but it's just so bad. I think the problem comes from the fact they are both idols in the same group. That's why their kisses can't look great. I guess I have to accept that at least, they had one.
▪️ Joo Ha's arc was a bit confusing for me. I think I missed the moment things got out of hand for him. I didn't understand why he was acting this way. He also has some anger management needed. I also believes he is having internalized homophobia. He acted frustrated by Do Yoon because he wasn't paying attention to him as he was used to. He lashed on Se Heon because things wouldn't go his way anymore. I think he needs help too. Most characters need a serious help in this series.
Next week, I’ll see the last episodes.
