This worked well last year. And this year I hope to use this for me and other people in the fandom:
I could use more Yogscast blogs during this time of year. So if you are a Yogblog or just post Yogs stuff could you please like/reblog this so I can check you out?
I watch everyone/everything so it doesn’t matter if you just post about one Yog or one series like High Rollers.
(If you want to you can add what you like when you reblog this to help others find you as well)
So given that we now know that Radders was making more than Ben, Daltos (maybe), Nilesy, Alex the Rambler, Zylus, Hulmes, Rythian and Kim; why did the Yogs drop her? I always took their parting of ways to be the Yogs saying she didn’t make enough to be worth the resources they provide to her. What are your thoughts?
Hard to say. I think you've got some people on that list who made more than Radderss, but it does highlight a few who, assuming they don't make up the difference via YouTube or direct donations, made less.
Back when it happened, Harry said that laying off Radderss related to "consolidating what [The Yogscast] do for each creator." Which means, I guess, that either she needed more services proportionate to her value and to others earning less, or they could no longer offer her something that she required of them.
I know people like Nilesy probably don't count on the Yogscast for anything in return for paying nothing in. He always seemed a little... destitute, he would talk about money in a way that makes you a bit nervous. I don't imagine him phoning up Yogtowers everyday asking for things. But then again I can't really imagine what Radderss would have asked for either.
Radderss gave an entirely different depiction of the situation, claiming that stress from an ongoing legal battle made her seem less worth promoting which encouraged her decreasing channel value, but that's probably too speculative to ever prove.
