I have so many questions about this cover, but since I'd be running my mouth if tried to explain it, I'll direct you to these links that do a better job than me.

Suffice to say, this cover never made it to record store shelves. We instead ultimately got this "trunk" cover, also from Whitaker. Their faces say it all...

Live For Today: Stressed over tomorrow or yesterday?

1/11/25 Healing from emotional wounds🌹

Feeling haunted from my exes have left me feeling stuck in the past most days. Also the future is very unknown and you’re afraid to undergo anymore abuse…. So, you stay kind’ve in the past mindset where it’s familiar and “comfortable” for you. You just keep looking back and of course I have SO MUCH regret!

Then you’ve got people who stress so badly about the future they plan and over plan. They can’t care about yesterday or enjoy today cuz they’re looking ahead soooooo far. What if we saw this “healing process” as a stage or chapter in our life? Part of our life journey. A road we’re forced to walk…

Live for today. You’re not promised tomorrow and yesterday is gone ❤️‍🩹🌹🌹🌹it’s ok to make plans for tomorrow or remember yesterday but today is what’s happening. Make the best of what’s happening around you!!

I’ve had so much regret for the past because I wasn’t able to control or stop my exes from abusing my emotions and feelings. My ex Cody dumped me twice and then ghosted me!! I was literally at his mercy 😭😭😭 oh I believed I cared so much about him. I just wanted to be his best friend and enjoy being with him but instead he kept rejecting me and pushing me away❤️‍🩹

The past haunts me and I’ve had to navigate the lack of closure and suffer from the emotional wounds inflicted upon me. No I don’t hate Cody. I miss him but not sure he was being honest about himself much. Either way, the past is over. No matter how much his memory haunts me, ENJOY THIS DAY 🙏🏻 Healing takes time! You may still feel sad or hurt from the past and that’s okay too. Relax and be in the moment!

Go with the flow ❤️‍🩹🌹 Yesterday is over, tomorrow may never even come. 😳 Tomorrow could be terrible or could be amazing. What if you make this very moment amazing though?? I promise you, I’ve stressed about the past. I’ve stressed over Cody and him ghosting me but it’s done. It happened and he can’t change it or fix it. Him even coming to apologize won’t change it. I hope he’s making the best of his day too 🌹

Yesterday and Today (also rendered as "Yesterday" ... and Today in part of the original packaging) is a studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. Released in the United States and Canada in June 1966, it was their ninth album issued on Capitol Records and twelfth American release overall. Typical of the Beatles' North American discography until 1967, the album contains songs that Capitol had withheld from its configurations of the band's recent EMI albums, along with songs that the group had released elsewhere on non-album singles. Among its 11 tracks are songs from the EMI albums Help! and Rubber Soul, and three new 1966 recordings that would appear on Revolver in countries outside North America.

Yesterday and Today is remembered primarily for the controversy surrounding its original cover image. Known as the "butcher cover", it was taken by photographer Robert Whitaker and shows the band dressed in white coats and covered with decapitated baby dolls and pieces of raw meat. Although the photo was intended to be part of a larger work critiquing the adulation afforded the Beatles, the band members insisted it was a statement against the Vietnam War. Others interpreted it as the Beatles protesting the record company's policy of "butchering" their albums for the North American market. In response to retailers' outrage at the gory subject matter, Capitol immediately withdrew the LP and replaced the cover image with a shot of the band posed around a "steamer" trunk.
