Life since I’ve disappeared :P

Hello all, just kinda wanted to let you know a little bit about what I’ve been up to as of lately. Sorry for making this a long post....lol.

Back in November my friends and I started a YouTube channel called Elements Gaming (I’ll leave a link to our channel towards the end of this post). We play all sorts of pc games, and I think it would be fun to do some IRL videos as well. I wanted to start YouTube before, but was always too nervous to try to do it myself, so doing this is an absolutely awesome experience. We are still fairly new to the whole recording, and editing thing, but it has been an absolute blast doing every recording. To be honest, we could really use some help. We are trying to get to 100 subscribers so that we can change our URL. Doing this would at least make it look nicer, and would be great for being able to put it on business cards, t-shirts, etc. I appreciate any and all help we can get with that. With more people coming to the channel, we can be more interactive with everybody, and can do cool stuff like challenge videos, or mile marker videos...things like that.

At the end of last year, I finished my degree in computer programming. Now, I’m just waiting till May to take the walk. It certainly wasn’t the easiest, and I made plenty of mistakes, but glad I finally got it finished.

I know most of you all know Lauren very well considering she was the one who introduced me to tumblr. I can only assume that she has told you, but I will write about it anyways xP. Lauren, her brother, and I went to Disney World for a week at the end of January. I can honestly say that it was the best trip I have ever had in my life (minus the lines for the rides at times....lol). I found out that I had Celiac’s Disease towards the end of last year (meaning I can't have gluten), but the entire staff at Disney was great about making sure that I was taken care of just as well as anyone else...heck they made me feel special, because sometimes the chef would personally come out to talk to me. The entire week was so fun, and it was infinitely better because she was there with me. But the most memorable part of the trip will always be the day I proposed to the love of my life in Cinderella’s Castle. I’ll have to get y’all some photos, in case she hasn’t already shown them.

Now we are in the fun yet stressful process of trying to get the wedding details planned and setup, as well as looking at houses, and seeing what we can afford and what not. It’s certainly not the most fun thing to do, but it also makes me very happy and excited because these are all things we are doing for our future together. <3

Growing up I always thought true love was red roses, dates on Saturday nights, little black box that held expensive things, and always knowing what to say. I thought true love was a kiss in the rain, deep explanations, and the perfect story. But now that I’m older I’ve realized it’s not like that at all. See because true love for me is ugly snapchats, and peeing while you’re on the phone. True love is kissing at 6 AM despite the morning breath and singing at the top of your lungs. It’s saying all the wrong things, at all the wrong moments. It’s sarcasm and being honest even when it hurts. It’s late hours of the night when it’s been a long day and it’s no make up and bad hair. It’s tears from laughter, it’s tears from sadness and it’s nothing like any storybook you’ve ever read. It’s never running out of things to talk about, and it’s being comfortable in the silence of things. True love is watching The Titanic though you swore you never would. It’s getting mad over stupid things. It’s “you’re an idiot,” and “you’re a little shit” and knowing you’re so lucky to hear those every day. It’s spilling your feelings at 4 AM when you should be asleep. It’s that song you hear on the radio that always makes you smile. It’s the worst story you could imagine, but thank God it worked out anyways. True love is never losing the magic. True love is not leaving when things get hard. I like my definition better anyways.

This tears my heart to pieces....but am glad to hear it is not the end of Paramore. I wish Jeremy the best in all his future endeavors, and hope this isn't the last time we’ll see him either. Paramore has always been there for me in times of need, or whenever I just wanted to rock out...and I hope it stays that way! I love you guys!!!! :D

These last few years have held some of the most fulfilling moments we’ve had yet… as people, as friends, and as a band. The Self-Titled era was one that we knew would be important for us but also one we’d eventually have to move on from. In moving forward, there is growth, pain, and change… and sometimes the change is not at all what you hoped for. We’ve written and re-written this countless times and there’s just not a good way to put it… Jeremy is no longer going to be in the band with us. To be honest, this has been really painful. After taking time to consider how to move forward, we ultimately found that we really do believe Paramore can and should continue on. And so we will.

We’re really thankful for the people who have helped see us through hard times before and what we’ve discovered is that those people are just as much a part of this as we will ever be. We’re hopeful for Paramore’s future and we’re also excited for what Jeremy’s going to do next. Thank you all for your support and your belief in us. It’s kept us going. We will see some of you really soon on Parahoy. If you’re not coming on the cruise, we will still see you in 2016.

Hey Taylor,

First, I wanted mention that your concert in Charlotte was the first one (of yours) that I had ever been to, and I was completely awe struck! I will even admit that I cried during your speech before “Clean”. This was all possible thanks to my girlfriend Lauren. I believe you actually follow her, her username is fearlesslove13 (I still remember the look on her face when she found out…lol). She is actually the reason I am writing this to you. I’m sure you get these kind of letters/messages all the time, so I apologize in advance.

We’ve been together now for a little over 2 years, and I can honestly say that there is nobody else I would rather spend the rest of my life with. I want to be able to give her everything she’s ever wanted, and I know that she would die for the chance to be able to meet you. I know it’s probably asking for a lot, but I know it would mean the world to her. I’m just so glad that I found somebody that shares so many of my interests, and we are constantly introducing each other to new things. She has totally turned me into a swiftie, and I have introduced her to the wonders of Paramore :P When I found out that you had/have worked with Hayley, I’ll admit I geeked out……A LOT.

We enjoyed the concert so much, that we are actually going to the one in Atlanta, GA as well…and I can’t wait!!!! Even If she isn’t able to get the chance to meet you, it would be awesome if you could maybe contact her or something.
