So I'm rewatching camp cretaceous (because of chaos theory) and having taught ~18-20 year olds for 2 years now the most unbelievable part of the first series is that a kid of that age would know how to use a computer well enough to navigate folders on a computer

I'd love to have something witty to say here, but I think this one post speaks for himself in a way no words could.
Originally, I wanted to do a "simple" redraw of a silly meme, I have no idea HOW it eneded up being a four pages comic. And WHY there's also a JOJO reference within of all things. So uhm, anyway...
✨ Sources and references ✨
The "Dilf Detected Comic" [original unedited comic, meme format, meme format if you want the rebloggable tumblr version]
The "Oh? You're Approaching Me?" panel from the manga JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders (chapter 143)
Hope you've liked the Aries™ Rizz©® ok bye

“Every author is problematic now what am I even supposed to read 🙄”
if this is your actual reaction to being told that you should consider not reading a handful (like literally I can count them on one hand) of currently living authors because it directly supports heinous things when you do, and those authors are also some of the most well known in pop culture, I don’t think you actually did that much reading in the first place and you actually just want to act like you’re the one being hurt from this.
“What am I even supposed to read?” I don’t know maybe try looking deeper than the NYT bestseller list from 2007 for starters

Hello, LGBTQ+ community. Theatre Gay is here to be... well, theatrical and of some unknown flavor of not-straight.
Housekeeping! Big thanks to @legallymean for helping me with his backstory, and an equally large thanks to @thenotorioushmk for all the kindness about this entire au, since we've been going wild every single time we get a new pic. Can't wait for when I can finally post some of the writing-- just need to find the right time...

While Maestro, otherwise known as "Al" by his friends and rival, is better known for his musical pro-shoots at Cooking Cat Studios, he's also the co-host of Chopping Board, a fun little series he and Cooking Cat have been making for years where they try making terrible recipes and drag their co-workers (Stationmaster and Goofy Mafia mostly) into testing it whenever they can't stand to taste it themselves. He's had a taste of first place, once, but he seems to be content with second... most of the time.
As kids, he and the rest of his team used to live in Subcon, and they were still relatively close to each other then, living in a town nearby the one that Princess Mu used to frequent. Al was frequently sent over the hills to sell his family's pasta, and since he was a bit older than the kids there, he tended to bully them a bit. He lived to regret that, with the burn scars to prove it, and though he personally isn't ashamed of his scars, he is self-conscious about how they make others feel, and only sheds his mask and glove on rare occasions.
Out of the two directors at Cooking Cat Studios, he's the more approachable, especially if you ask his cast. Through all these years and movies/musicals, they've always had his back, and he trusts them with everything he can. After all this time in second place, though, it's hard to imagine that he'd be happy with another silver award. Maybe that gold a few years back wasn't just a fluke...

People in the notes of that post are like ‘grow up turn your news app notifications on’ first off bold of you to assume I have ANY notifications on
second…no, I shan’t. ‘What about life threatening emergencies’ that’s what the emergency alert system is for anything that doesn’t require the very loud sound push notification from a government agency can wait until I decide to consciously read the news for the day.
Or my retired boomer mom texts me cryptically about it

Remember when tv shows seasons were so long, the writers were allowed to not only slowly build the plot and characters but they also had fun by making musicals episodes, Christmas specials, Halloween episodes and generally just some random episodes that did not make the plot advance but were amusing to watch?

Netflix plz stop fucking up your own service, I can't put up with my mother having a meltdown every time you log her out or force her to scan a QR code. If you keep doing this I'm just going to pirate all her shit for her.

Well my great grandmother died the day before yesterday and while I'm not, like, happy about it, I didn't know her so I'm not like sad either. But I'm going to the visitation and funeral because I'm expected to and I will be there for my dad, who actually did know and care about her. I only hope we don't have a repeat of what happened when my great uncle died, i.e, me gazing emotionlessly at the corpse of a person I neither knew nor particularly cared about whilst my aunt melodramaticly urges me to "let go" of the grief under which she mistakenly believes I am laboring

One issue in our society and modern dating culture is that a lot of young men were raised by out of touch conservative boomer moms who think it’s polite to stand up when a woman enters the room but aren’t aware that their sons are trading their girlfriends nudes behind her back.
A lot of conservative mothers grew up not having the knowledge and language to challenge misogyny so instead they just raised their sons to perform arbitrary and contradictory chivalry etiquette instead of actually respecting women.
