I’m all for Tubbo being family to Empanada but being her dad?? It feels a lot like there are some misogynistic undertones there. Like family is not just parents it can be literally anything, same way Pepito has Foolish being grandma. Tubbo can have the same and be family in some way to Em.

But it’s like we have an all girl family but because the egg is interacting with others, people are inserting the males into it(the parent dynamic). Which just reads wrong when a majority of the island is male relationships and prominent male families where the girls are mainly just aunts to the children.

I watched Twilight a few days ago. And that movie is So Good, like,, unironically it is a very good movie, the dialogue is amazing, the cinematography is pretty, the mood of the movie is well established with the blue filter and sopping wet look everything has... does it have an incredibly cringe romantic plot? How it started:

Both hot on the trail of some mysterious kidnappers, a new adventurer encounters a self proclaimed "naturalist" monitoring the local aether. They are ambushed by those who's plans they attempted to foil and the two have no choice but to take up arms against a rampaging goobbue. A comfortable sense of familiarity bubbled to the surface like sea foam on water's edge as they fought side by side. It's as if this had happened once before... but that couldn't be true. It was odd. She thought she'd be angrier when it was revealed her race for the elemental aethersand was all in good jest. Had she not been so consumed with the anxiety of letting her friend Cid down maybe she could have enjoyed the race a bit more. Yet when G'raha flashed her a playful smile upon his grand entrance any semblance of a grudge nesting in Arsay's gut was quickly replaced with a fluttering feeling. She didn't know why but she couldn't take her eyes off him and, strangely enough, it seemed as if he couldn't take his eyes off her either. His gaze always darting back towards her even as he addressed the group of expeditioners. When it came to scholarly-types there has always been a degree of hesitancy from Arsay to engage in conversation; but that clear display of adventurous spirit gave her some hope. Someone as keen on Allag history as him would surely appreciate seeing the summoner soulstone she possessed. It's been some time since she felt this excited to talk to someone.

How could someone be so lucky? That's the question Arsay asks herself every nearly everyday. Nearly three moons have passed since they all privately exchanged vows of commitment to each other. It's not as if they really needed to, their love for one another was more than clear, but after a slip of the tongue it became inevitable outcome. As G'raha once said: "Promises are what keep them together.". So together they shall be, from now till forever.
