the heart imagery is interesting.. not only jackie’s necklace but biscuit’s heart, the bear’s heart, javi’s heart.. offerings to the wilderness always revolve around hearts. and i feel like it ties into the inherent intimacy and romanticism of cannibalism as an expression of all-consuming love and devotion. jackie ate shauna, out of platonic (or arguably, romantic) love. travis literally ate javi’s heart, out of familial love.

this isn’t really a theory about anything, just an observation, i suppose.

Idk I just wish it showed them trying more ways to hunt / forage. If the wolves could survive there, they should be able to. There's pine needles, acorns and moss that can be eaten, not to mention pine bark. Fishing is an option + they can make snares. They can eat bugs, just flip up rocks and find some. Show us them trying but STILL failing PLS

I discovered that I am all talk, because I really don’t want to watch Javi die like that😭 i thought I wanted to see the Yellowjackets do all kinds of messed up stuff, but I can’t even watch them let a child drown?

the yellowjackets fandom is so funny cause they’ll be like “she wore her clothes!!!!!” and it’s like. girlie. they’re stranded in the Canadian wilderness with no mall aside from Lottie’s hallucination, of course she wore her clothes. Javi probably wore her clothes at some point.
