I have found my new quest.

Someone in a Facebook group I’m in posted this picture of a hanukkiah they saw in a thrift shop and did not purchase. Everyone in the group was telling them to go back and get it. They didn’t recognize what they were seeing.

It’s Yehudit brandishing her sword and the head of Holofernes.

She is being anointed with oil to honor her for her triumph.

On a hannukiah.

I need this so badly I can taste it.

In an effort to gather works of beauty for the Tabernacle, the artisans, such as Bezalel, that G-d had endowed with “divine spirit of skill, ability, and knowledge of craft” were summoned to contribute their crafts in the presence of the Lord, as Moses had commanded.

The Republican Party is far along in its transformation into a far right authoritarian party. Much of what Trump has done and seeks to do can reasonably be compared to the Nazis. Comparing Trump and his party to other authoritarian, anti-Democratic leaders of the past is neither misleading nor shameful.

By all means, please do elaborate on the platform differences between Kach and Otzma Yehudit. You've already acknowledged that have"Jewish fascism" in common, but I'd be interested to hear more on how they differ in their views.

The otzma Yehudit (Jewish Might) party, while it has elements of Jewish fascism, had specifically not been designated as kahanist. If they were, they wouldn't be allowed in the Knesset. It's not wrong to say that they have been called kahanists, but that's like saying the republican party has been called nazis. It's insufficient, dimmunitive, misleading, and shameful.

And I wanna be clear. I think that this party is terrible for anything our country might ever do, but with all due respect, this is absurd
