@gingerteaonthetardis it’s that time of the week again!! Summer tried to eat some of the petals on the ground today, which like, I can’t blame her because they smell sooo good 🥰.
sadly I feel like I was gone only a few days and the flowers are already starting to die :(( but they’re still so pretty and I love them while they last 😌

Planted some bulbs today, not sure if they'll come up, I have never had much luck with daffodils, but the others were muscari, alliums, and irises, all of which have proven incorrigible when I planted them previously (still pulling alliums out of pots they were never planted in five years later).

Idk I might not even be in this house to see them flower but I really could do with something going right#And it's better than the corner flowerbed just getting more and more overgrown#I like weeds but these weren't flowering and the whole front yard is weeds so a few spring bulbs more or less hopefully won't hurt#I DID dig up at least three caterpillars in the process though! Which has never happened to me before it's always worms I surprise#But I moved them all to another plant- there were two normal sized green ones and one massive brown one (a future moth maybe?)#Hope they make it#Just goes to show that even though there are literally no flowers or flowering trees planted round here except that buddleia#Which is attached somehow to the back of the bins and ravaged the front yard earlier this spring#That the weeds must be good for something if the caterpillars are thriving#No worms though which makes me suspect that the soil will not be good for bulbs#It's a very dry corner but then again it is a purpose built concrete raised flowerbed from the 1960s#It's always going to be an oddity#Unfortunately I also forgot where I planted some of them so the planting scheme may be a bit uneven in places#Eh I can cover it with seeds later if need be#Anyway trying to do something each day of October and this counts#I usually garden at my parents' house (mostly in pots too) so these will be the first bulbs I've planted at my own house#I tried to pick varieties that would come back every year

i can hear the frogs ૮˶• ﻌ •˶ა ♡ there's this fenced off area nearby with tall grass and a pond in the middle they have to themselves. there are so many of them!
u can hear them in the distance from my back patio but i followed the sound one night and found the source 😌 it's good to hear them again.

Girls' spa day for the orchids with some warm water and fertilizer :D
Gonna need to get some more soil for the right and middle orchids to ground the air roots but they should be fine for now.
#no need to worry about the wilting on nr. 1 and 2 they'll be fine come winter/early spring#though i find it fascinating that for flowers that can theoretically start blooming all year round i got three that bloom in winter/spring#and then (perhaps) again in summer#at least that's what i'm figuring because i don't have the first and second for that long#the third one i've had for 2 years and she blooms once in winter and then again in summer#plant tag#idk i need to think of one#i wanna talk about them more

I was sick and watched like 2 seasons of this and then thought it was too#uninteresting and obnoxious to continue (more like 1 and a half since I skipped the rest of one once only boring people were left) BUT this#one guy had a very mischevious looking face and he also said a few things (like the above captioned speech) that sounded like dialogue#some fantasy character would say.. so I took a screencap of him and edited him into a mischevious wizard i guess.?? idk I was sick lol#~your little friend has a poisoned tongue~ is just a very unexpectedly serious sounding wording for some random normal#frat dude looking guy to say while casually chatting on a reality tv show in like 2008 or whenever that was filmed lol#5. #kai rambles#this is my mini break from The Art™#so imma ramble in the tags of my own post#see when i got my first tattoo the other day/some time ago#my mom and brother also got tattoos at the same time in the same place (the semi colons for suicide awareness)#and while we were waiting for the preparation and all that#and whilst my mom was getting hers#me and my brother were looking through the sample books because hes slowly getting a sleeve done with flower tattoos#and weve talked a couple of times about him maybe having one of my original art pieces as a tattoo#and i have a rose sword design i drew years ago that i love#and my brother liked it#so im now redrawing it since i have more experience with digital art than i did back then#which was about a month? i did not have much experience#and im drawing in clipstudio instead of sai#and im really enjoying it and also really hating it because ahhhhhhhhhhhhh#roses are fiddly little bastards to draws and im real bad at drawing long lines?#like it takes me a good ten minutes to draw the outline of a sword because im so bad at getting the angle right or the line being wobbly#so its fun#also i hate perspective why did past me draw thorns going round the sword why did i do this to myself

#dnd#curse of strahd#she's my baby and my darling and she's trying her best but she's very tired and everyone is stressing her out all the time#she's 4'11 and 90 pounds and very anemic#she has a negative strength score#women want her#she's from barovia but she got out for some years and was a pirate for awhile and then she was a solo adventurer#and she's seen so much weird shit#she grew up getting chomped by vampires but she's doing pretty okay mentally as long as she compartmentalizes everything#a combination of weapons feats and subclass have made her a mechanical nightmare for the dm and she can hypothetically attack 5 times#in an opening round of combat#she's shorter than everyone but the gnome but she scared two of her much taller party members until they got to know her better#she's been assigned mom at 25#her best friend is a tiny he/they gay kobold who taught her how to make guns on a pirate ship#she is the only party member who has not gotten at least one ominous secret zone chat with the dm because everyone else keeps fucking around#and thus finding out#she cannot read#she knits and crochets and enjoys cross stitching and flowers#she looks like an edgelord and seems intimidating because she's often very flat affect but she is in fact very sweet#and full of love#and wants to talk to people and get to know them and make friends#she's a nightmare to any npc who doesn't want to have a nice little chat#her introduction to van richten was shooting him twice because he was trying to steak the friend she had JUST gotten cool with hours before#she's a lesbian and she has canonically fucked more than anybody else in the party#she is kissing ireena#she had to make her guns special because she's so small#she has big tall energy but she's shorter than the 14 year old the party adopted#she just got some magic and she has no idea how or why#she is so full of love all 4 foot 11 inches of her anemic gay little frame is full of love#she eats raw potatoes like apples
