I've been obsessed w tf since i watched the movie in october #what's w the excessive use of rake brushes?? Good question. I wanted to emulate the feel of metal #but turns out my knowledge of how to use rake brushes are in fact. poor #starscream isn't my fav character it's actually d-16 but I really liked screamer's character design #it's such a refreshing take but still recognizable as starscream. the black accent w his classic colors is such a great design #also funnily enough whenever I see tfone starscream fanart his hips are always cocked #I started this piece a month ago so when I saw the other fanarts I'm pretty bemused. It's like everyone's a hive mind or something #or maybe it's just not starscream if he isn't cunty #anyway

I've seen that "the immortal loses their loved one but not their loved one's family; what if the immortal stayed close, followed them down the generations?" post a dozen times, and I understand it's intended to be sweet---but every single time I see it, all I can think is that it's straight-up the beginning of a horror story.

I'm astounded by how many people were interested in the magical boy AU! So sorry for not updating on it, I really didn't think it was that interesting 👁👁💦

This is Emmet's warped uniform, essentially what his fighting form looks like after his soul stones lose sight of Ingo and attempt to work alone. To compensate for not having a battle partner, his weapons and attacks have gotten more aggressive to deal the damage he'd usually get as a pair. His clothes have also lost much of their brightness and charm, getting tattered and shredded, reflecting his own outlook on things trying to fight Team Plasma alone while maintaining his normal routine.

This was fun to sketch! I had a lot of fun with Emmet's coat (especially the coattails!), having it white on the outside and black on the inside added a contrasting backdrop for his body. The torn edges were cool too, I was trying to think of how I could make him look more malicious/unwelcoming and immediately thought back to Princess Kraehe, which is where the wing shape idea came from.

I drew Ingo's warped form several months ago, but now that I finished Emmet, I have to redo him 💀 He actually had two, since his were based on the level of his amnesia. His first one retains much more of his original uniform, morphed to match the clothing of the people around him, but his second one is a completely different outfit, the result of him relating more to his new roles and disconnecting from his past. These sketches are butt ugly since they were meant for drafting, but I'll post them now or they're going forever

The weapons used are a naginata and ōdachi, I might pick different ones later but they felt solid at the time. Hopefully he will be more fabulous after a rework ^^*

#context:#after Bortom city recognized Beatrix as a threat and began persecuting her‚ she became widely known #A great reward would be given to those who captured the runaway android‚ and most people feared her.#To sum it up‚ she was alone in her journey and refusing to trust anyone so easily.#The persecutions got worse when more cities allied themselves with Bortom. This attracted robot hunters.#At some point‚ Beatrix met this golden-eyed‚ humanoid shadow that always seemed to watch her from afar #It wouldn't stop following her‚ until it was close enough to initiate a confrontation #Beatrix was basically FED UP with the persecutions and so she fought using her fists... while he had a gun.#The bullets couldn't cause great damage‚ and were actually microchips designed to stunt robotic enemies #Beatrix barely resisted the effects and managed to take down the other... who raised its hands in defeat.#Imagine the situation: She's literally got him on the ground‚ fist raised to deliver a powerful blow while he's SHAKING IN HIS BOOTS #Turns out the microchips take effect‚ and Beatrix attempts to escape before it's too late... But her systems go off abruptly #...Then she wakes up in this cozy workshop of sorts. She goes outside and BOOM!!!#A ship moved by machinery? Robots living peacefully? People walking past her without batting an eye? This must be a dream!#She's finally found Fusionsprunt (or was found but it). The city built for and by rebells like her.#and about the golden-eyed enemy? yeah uh. that's Hunter. of course that was Hunter. he could NOT resist making a dramatic appearance.#the mysterious enemy is actually just some silly guy w workaholic tendencies father of a prodigy and who also enjoys piloting his spaceship #fusionsprunt #fusionsprunt hunter #fusionsprunt beatrix

My comic is so pretty...

The hiatus is letting me take a little extra time on these episodes, and I'm definitely putting it to good use!!!

#almost done with my 8th episode... which will give me. two weeks. of buffer...#id really like at LEAST a month... but to be more comfortable id like two #which means 2-6 more episodes before I come back!#I've got about 7 weeks so its possible. but i do still have to finish book 4 #so much to do ..........#I decided for my next comic im doing 3 updates a month.#having 10 days instead of 7 to make an episode is such a huge huge huge difference...#difference in quality and in my health!#anyways the comic is really pretty im really happy with the work im doing rn #the environments especially. im getting to spend a nice amount of time on them and theyre turning out so nicely #its nice to be able to write with a lot of different environments and not have to redo panels when I get to them cause of time #cause every time theres a wild angle? you need a new background...#so sometimes. often actually. there just isnt the time to make the backgrounds for those and i have to make them more flat...#which is fine. it doesnt really affect anything narratively. but. idk. it's kinda sad right?#anyways yeah! 10 days will be much better.#36 episodes a year is about what ive been uploading with my hiatuses on the weekly schedule anyways!#so might as well cut out that super stressful middleman and just commit to that #52 a year is just such a huge difference and i have to accept its not possible to me #i will hurt myself trying to do that. and i want to make comics my whole life!#so i cant push myself that hard now and sacrifice my future. we're gonna go slower after this...#anyways yeah cant wait to come back but also time. if I could get an extra week like a secret one just for me #where theres no chores no nothin just me and my work #thatd be great! so go ahead and do what you gotta do to give me a little pocket dimension #me: ugh i want to return right now...#the more logical me: NO we need the time to finish everything!!!!!! i still think a lot about how technically, it's implied Anubis and Walt started dating each other before they asked out Sadie, and if Sadie had said she wasn't interested they would have gone "Entirely fair have a nice day" and proceed to just go continue to date each other.

Cause like, that was the entire thing. They decided that themselves. That things would work best if they were together (as in both physically sharing a body and also relationship-wise). The "asking Sadie about it" part was secondary. If she had said no, they would have stayed together, because among other things Walt would kind of die if they didn't. Walt and Anubis are technically the first gay couple in the Riordanverse. AND they're in a polyamorous relationship with Sadie. Why does no one talk about them ever.
