what are some things/objects/phenomenons that hold like *weirdly* emotional meaning to you, but which you don't necessarily own, which you just encounter in the wild (counting media) and go "Oh Yea this is a family member this is an angel this is essential to who i am as a person"? mine is acoustic guitars :)
#for me the sound of an acoustic is like. its elevated above all other music i react to it in such a distinct way from anything else#im like. an instrument nerd and i tend to say that my favorite instrument is the trumpet bc my brain doesnt even register that i should#in actuality say 'oh an acoustic yea' bc like. isnt it obvious? not in the sense that u take a look at me and know thats what i like but#in the space of my own head it's obvious too obvious to share. maybe too private of a subject. cuz#it brings up everything ive gone thru with it i mean ive been playing the thing for 12 years theres bound to be some connection but#yea anyway
