On December 10th, Brianna Boston was on the phone with Blue Cross Blue Shield about medical claims that had been denied. After being given the runaround, she reportedly said “Delay, deny, depose. You people are next”. She was arrested that same day, despite having no criminal record or even owning a gun, by a detective who determined that she was personally threatening BCBS and arrested her with a bail of $100,000. If convicted of the felony of making a “written threat to kill or injure—conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism” she was charged with, she faces upwards of 15 years in prison. She is a mother of three.

it really bothers me how so much liberal Zionist energy has always been focused on emphasising that israelis are not their government etc as if israelis are the one being systemically persecuted / occupied by palestinians when that same energy could be spent countering the Zionist right wing propaganda that every Palestinian in Gaza deserves to suffer for what Hamas did or because of the hostages, especially when those liberals unlike the right recognise that israel is carrying out war crimes and atrocities in their name.

This harsh weather is expected to last for the next 30 to 40 days as part of the rainy season in Gaza.

The Sameer Project is fundraising to provide families in the south of Gaza with tents and tarps but most importantly, since tents can't really protect against the cold, the team is looking to buy hats, baby clothes, gloves and blankets to distribute in the area. I have no faith that such a thing as international law exists anymore and we are all completely at the whims of the United States to potentially grant us safety.
