Male deer shed thier antlers, they grow velvet on them and it iches and they tear them off via trees.

Reindeer said equal rights! Female and male reindeer have antlers. In fact they seem to take turns having antlers / sheading them and being the big protectors.

Reindeer are immune to toadstool poision, in fact they search it out to hulucinate. Reindeer are drugies. They eat the forbidden shrooms.

It's not a deer it's an antelope but antelope are basicly deers wierd cousin but not a lot of people talk about Dik dik's and the needs to change

Personal experiences:

I was hiking and I heard a baby deer cry and I saw it run to its mama, it's mom looked at me and just kept eating basicly "it's just a lame human, just don't get too close"

Then two other does came by and started grazing with her and all thier babies started playing and roughhouseing it was so cute I could die.

Big experience the one that made me love them happened when I was super little, I got a book and I was reading it by a tree with my mom, when a Buck and his harem of does and fawns walked by, Super close. The does and fawns sat down by another tree in the shade but the buck stared at me.

I'm fully aware he was probably just thinking "you got food? Nah? Ok thanks anyway" and walking away.

But as a little girl who was obsessed with unicorns and i thought unicorns would look more like deer then horses.

It was life changing.

Tips I learned for deer watching, move slowly and don't stare, they will think your a predator otherwise, simply look at your feet and then gaze at them occasionally. They are more comfortable and less likely to run or get defenceive.
