MBTI Types & Texting Styles
Perceiving Functions
xNxP | High Ne: uses run-on sentences and parentheses (to maximize info-dumping and clarification via extraneous details, respectively)
xNxJ | High Ni: Short and simple sentences. It’s not intentionally “dry”, it’s just effective word choice.
xSxP | High Se: lowercase letters/free form sentences and p much any slang they wanna use bc its just texting and not deep enough for proper spelling and grammar
xSxJ | High Si: Breaking up responses to multiple topics into separate paragraphs.
It’s easier to keep track of what you’re talking about this way.
—
Judging Functions
xxFJ | High Fe: traditional/safe emojis and slang for effective communication ie. lol, brb, ☺️, 😅 periods in the middle are okay. Periods at the end are intimidating so it’s best to avoid those
xxFP | High Fi: Using creative combinations of emojis ( 🙏😩 | 👁️👄👁️ | 🥺👉👈) for the ultimate range of personal expression
xxTJ | High Te: Capital letters, and advanced punctuation; they exist for a reason. Big fan of the Oxford Comma.
xxTP | High Ti: Correct spelling and grammar is mostly a byproduct of autocorrect unless its absolutely necessary. it doesnt have to be perfext just understandable

Transformers Robot Husband Poll: MBTI Types
A few of you have seen me mention this special interest of mine, but the rest of you are new. Hello, and welcome. I’d like to talk about our Round Three* contenders in light of personality typology, specifically the MBTI theory based on Jungian typology.
(*Why 3 instead of 4? Because I’d planned to post this yesterday and already had those characters listed.)
Yes, I’m aware this is classified as a pseudoscience. Yes, I put a questionable amount of stock in it. Now you see why I’d get along with Drift so well. 😛 This post is for fun, so please don’t take it as seriously as I am unless you’re genuinely curious. The main goal of this post is to present some interesting observations related to the correlation between who are most desirable fictional husbands and their MBTI types. That’s it. A TL;DR is at the end for the Blurrs among you. Anyway, here we go:
While I’m sure most of you have at least heard of MBTI, you should know that it’s not just the four-letter dichotomies: I vs. E, T vs. F, etc. I won’t bore you with the details; I just want you to be aware that mainstream culture has watered down the theory to a four-letter code when there’s far more complexity beneath the surface. Cognitive functions, function axes, etc.
Without further ado, here are the contenders from Round Three (the versions I know best) and what I think each one’s most likely type is:
Cyclonus - ISTJ (IDW)
Whirl - ESTP (IDW)
Misfire - ENTP (IDW)
Ratchet - ISTJ (IDW, TFP, TFA)
Heatwave - ESTJ (Rescue Bots)
Knockout - ESTP (TFP)
Drift - INFP or INFJ (IDW) / ISTJ (RiD15)
Breakdown - ISFP (TFP)
Shockwave - INTJ (IDW, Cyberverse) / INTP (TFP)
Skids - ENTP (IDW)
Soundwave - ISTJ (TFP, IDW, G1) / ISTP (Cyberverse)
Starscream - ENTP (TFP, IDW, G1)
Wheeljack - ISTP (TFP) / ENTP (Cyberverse)
Blaster* - ESFP (G1)
Perceptor - INTP (IDW, Cyberverse, G1)
Jazz* - ESFP or ENFP (G1, RiD15)
Skyfire* - INFJ? (G1)
Tarantulas - ENTP (IDW)
Thundercracker* - ENTP? (G1)
Brainstorm - ENTP (IDW)
Swindle - ENTP (TFA)
*I just skimmed their TFwiki page and guessed.
Bold text means I’m certain of my conclusion.
“What does all of it mean though?”
Well, it tells me that the fandom really loves their xNTPs and xSTJs. You may have no idea what that means on a detailed level, and that’s fine. The short version is that people either love down-to-earth guys who are dependable and know how to get stuff done or the funny guys who have a nerdy, creative, or rebellious streak. This is obvious just from looking at the results and tags, but it’s interesting to me that the overall trends can also be seen through the lens of MBTI.
Now, for the fun part: I’m expecting the semifinal contenders to be Cyclonus, Knockout, Soundwave, and Jazz. Their respective types are ISTJ, ESTP, ISTJ, and ESFP (or ENFP). Once again, opposing temperaments. (i.e. ISxJ vs. ESxP)
Furthermore, the projected finalists are Cyclonus and Soundwave—both of whom are ISTJs. The conclusion is that, despite the appeal of the xNxP guys, ISTJ characters are more likely than any other type to be seen as good husband material, which lines up perfectly with the general stereotypes associated with ISTJs.
TL;DR - The majority of the fandom agrees that ISTJ characters are peak (stereotypical) husband material, and a deeper look at the type would reveal that they are absolutely correct.

𝘕𝘦, 𝘌𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯
all was summarized & translated and from DDCTipologias (<3333)
There is a tendency to oversimplify what Extraverted Intuition (Ne) really is as a function and manifestation. To fully understand it, it is necessary to comprehend both intuition and the extroverted attitude and their mechanisms. Ne operates in the realm of irrationality, that is, of Jungian perception, orienting itself towards how it perceives the world. This text proposes to define Ne and its perception mechanism to avoid misunderstandings, highlighting its manifestations without exaggerating its presence as something common or exclusive to a niche.
Extraverted Intuition perceives the world in an abstract and objective way, focusing on hypotheses, ideas, and associations. For the Ne user, everything is possible and interesting when it represents hypothetical potentialities. Ideas emerge easily, always exploring what lies beyond concrete experience, such as patterns and trends. Ne continuously feeds on new associations, prioritizing the abstract over the pragmatic. Its objective nature engages with the external world, but without being tied down to sensory experience; the focus is on exploring possibilities and expanding the field of ideas.
Extraverted Intuition (Ne) operates in an expansive and superficial manner, generating hypotheses without deepening them. It prefers to explore new possibilities rather than fixating on a single idea, akin to someone who sows trees without worrying about cultivating them. The potential tree is more interesting than the real tree. Ne seeks potentialities, transgressing rules and itself, which makes it prone to inconsistency. Its focus constantly shifts, leading to the reevaluation of ideas and projects. This irrational function does not follow a clear judgment process and easily accepts the absurd and the lack of meaning, without clinging to fixed meanings.
Extraverted Intuition tends to seek the unusual and transgress ideas for the mere act of transgression. This search can be superficial, focusing on testing hypotheses and exploring the eccentric without an aesthetic goal, aiming only to break boundaries. Ideas connect quickly, with little dedication to any single one, as long as they represent something new. Despite being an extroverted function, Ne can distance itself from social engagement, as its focus lies in the realm of ideas, which can lead its users to have a lower need for concrete interaction with people. Nonetheless, there is an impulse to share these ideas with the external world. This phenomenon is even more pronounced in extroverted Ne users (ENxP and ESxJ) due to the objective nature of their ways of interacting with the world. It is common for these four types to express enjoyment in sharing ideas on “any subject,” although they do so differently. Ne operates similarly to brainstorming, appreciating the exchange of hypotheses and speculations in a superficial manner. Ne users enjoy exploring multiple ideas and connections, either in groups or alone, through mind maps. This function tends to continuously expand associations, leading to complexity and, at times, complication. Ne is skilled at dealing with complexity, but this same skill can result in making things more complicated than necessary.
Extraverted Intuition (Ne) can generate broad identification due to cultural influence, such as on social media, making it important to differentiate what Ne truly is. Although it is a generic cognitive function that can manifest in unpredictable ways, there are observable patterns in its use. Confusion between types is common, especially among xNxP and others, which is why it is necessary to draw a clear picture of the function. Even in its most complex and dominant use, Ne is seen as superficial, but this term should not be misinterpreted. Users of low Ne (xSxJ) may perceive it as "shallow" because they use it practically, such as in brainstorming sessions or social interactions. The popularity of concepts related to Ne facilitates identification with it. However, for those with high Ne, especially dominant, the exploration of ideas, despite seeming superficial, is conducted in a deep and complex manner, being central to their worldview.
The intellectual manifestations of Extraverted Intuition (Ne) tend to add complexity to the world, dealing with a vast field of ideas and associations. The Chaos Theory, which studies complex and dynamic systems, illustrates this quest to understand interactions that provoke changes over time. This theory is deterministic, focusing on predicting developments in complex systems, in contrast to teleology, which suggests a preferred and predetermined direction (which could be more associated with an introverted character). Thus, Ne shares this objective character by speculating about associations and developments in complex contexts, rejecting excessive simplifications. There are theoretical and practical approaches that connect with Ne, such as the role of trendsetters in fashion, who speculate about complex variables to identify trends. Additionally, the Socratic method, which is based on continuous questioning to deconstruct established ideas, also relates to Ne. The facilitator of this method presents various ideas and connections, generating doubts rather than definitive solutions, which expands the complexity of the world and concepts, reflecting the irrational and abstract nature of Extraverted Intuition.

Okay, so I recently got back into MBTI. Hyperfixations are crazy.
So to anyone who's into MBTI: Name a fictional pair that's:
ENXP (The Ne or Chaos Duo as I call them)
ESXP (The Thrill Seekers)
XNXP
Complete opposites by letter (e.g. ENTJ and ISFP)
Shadow functions (e.g. ENFP and INFJ)
ESXJ or ISXJ (or some variation of the two)
Extraverted Feeler + Introverted Thinker (doesn't have to be dominant function, can be auxiliary)
Alternatively, Extraverted Thinker + Introverted Feeler (same as the last one)
Have Fun!

do you think writer's dominant functions can he seen from their writings? and do you have any recommendations of books that has, like, perhaps a Ti dom fragrance to it?
This is a pretty interesting topic, so I prepared a long answer. I want to thank you for asking me this because your question inspired me to do an instagram post about each MBTI type as a writer.
Yes, functions show in the writing style of an author, but I wouldn’t say that the dominant function is the only one that shows. Many writers have a clear style influenced by their dominant function, but then the inferior function manifests as the underlying “obstacle” of the plot. Sometimes you can even see a clear dom/aux or dom/tert tandem in some authors.
Some things that can define the functions in the writing style, the theme or the plot of a novel, as well as some examples of authors for each function. Hope you find it insightful:
Ne writer (example - George R.R. Martin or Oscar Wilde)
They usually like to play with multiple points of view, with an experimental writing style. The plot usually entails a lot of exploration, and they like open endings and unexpected turns. Ne users enjoy alternate realities as they can explore the possibilities their Ne likes to generate. Ne authors have a strong tendency to ramble and they struggle to keep the central point of the plot (the typical problem of xNxP to get to the point); that’s why many Ne users get lost into subplots.
Ni writer ( example – Mary Shelley or CS Lewis)
Ni authors like foreshadowing and building up a nuclear ideal through all the novel that will end up being the high concept needed to understand the novel. They like to write interconnections and philosophical/transgressive works. Ni users differ from Ne user in that they like to take a specific idea, image or concept and make the discussion all around this single topic. Many Ni novels are translating real-life issues (Se) to an abstract and subjective imagery (Ni). Ni authors like to create an underlying system that ties everything together through one “essence” (this is more usual in NiTi users)
Si writer (example – Emile Zola or Agatha Christie)
Si authors have that mix between being extremely self-referential and extremely realistic in their descriptions, but that’s also why they’re the best world-builders. Many Si authors use a nostalgic undertone to create their detailed recollections. They tend to be super good researchers, and their novels always have a reference to the real world with which they feel bonded – they focus on things that are specific to their interests. Si authors usually follow the same pattern through all their novels.
Se writer (example – Hemingway or Conan Doyle)
Se authors enjoy a direct and straight-forward style; they’re good at building narratives that are based on physical evidence and amusing characters. Their descriptions are on point, and they don’t have unnecessary assets, even if the descriptions are long and detailed. Se authors focus on what’s happening around the characters and are specially skilled at setting up a very good environment – they usually use short sentences, although this may depend on the literary movement/genre of the Se author.
Te writer (example – Jack London or Aristotle)
Te authors are super structured both at conducting the plot and at explaining the ideas they want to talk about. I’ve noticed that many Te authors are drawn towards writing plots about politics, success, and characters that overcome unfavoured situations. They usually focus on powerful and realistic stories, in which the characters are constructed around a powerful decision making and achieving a certain goal that will led them to success. They also like to make an acid criticism to their social/political situation.
Ti writer (example – Lovecraft or Stephen King)
Ti users usually focus on dissecting certain ideas through offering wisdom and understanding them, using personal archetypes to make sarcastic but precise takes on their personal opinions. That’s why many Ti authors enjoy writing about puzzles, mysteries, or weird/dark topics that interconnect their own subjectivity. I find many Ti authors to get lost into creepy details and they also like stoic characters, putting priority into coherence and congruency before giving life to their own characters (you can find Stephen King always making the same kind of main characters.)
Fe writer (example – Goethe)
Fe writers usually focus on relationships and humanity, even if it sounds like a cliché and stereotypical. Fe authors probably made the most coherent and consistent characters in terms of decision-making, as they focus on entanglements and the intensity of the relationships between the characters. They also like their novels to have a pretty solid moral standing, and they usually create their characters as symbols, making abstractions out of them.
Fi writer (example – Orwell or Kafka)
Fi authors have a preference for writing characters that go through a self-development journey, always focused on knowing the self and solving their inner turmoil. They focus on giving depth to the main character, and all the novels go around their personalized POV of the world: all the plot usually goes around the main character and their journey. The novels are probably full of self-inserts. Fi authors have a strong desire to investigate the self/the human mind through their novels.

Enneagram + MBTI
Based on my own theoretical insight. Do not trust surveys taken by people who typed themselves. I can guarantee you that at least 50% of them later realized they were "mistyped".
When I write "possibly" it means I have my doubts that this is possible, but do not rule it out.
----
Type 8 - All high Se types (xSxP), Te-doms (ExTJ), sometimes ExFJ, ISTJ. Possibly ENxP or ISFJ Type 9 - Fi-doms (IxFP), Aux Se types (ISxP), high Si types (ISxJ). sometimes ESxP. Possibly ESxJ, ENxP or INxJ Type 1 - Most commonly aux Je. But can be all high Pi and Je types (xxxJs), sometimes xNxPs, possibly ISFPs
Type 2 - High F types (all xxFx). Very hard to imagine a 2 core with a low feeling function. Some people believe Te 2s exist which I am exploring. Type 3 - High Te types (all xxTJ), xSTPs. Sometimes ExFxs and IxFJs Type 4 - xNFJ, ISFJ. Some INTJ, ESFJ, ISFP, some xNxPs, possibly ESFP
Type 5 - All IxTx types. Some INFx types. ENTPs. Possibly Te-doms (ExTJ), ISFJs, ENFPs too Type 6 - All types. But most commonly: Tert Tes (ExFP), Introverted feelers (IxFx) Type 7 - Pe-dom types (ExxPs), Je-dom types (ExxJ), ISTPs, possibly IxFx. Might be another “all types” like 6.

INTJ: Not Just The Future
I never enjoyed the idea that Ni users (xNxJ) are "all about the future" stereotype. It seems like a wrong interpretation of a trend? What does it really refer to within the tendencies of Ni?
Funnily enough, I got distracted mid-writing this and forgot what the hell I wanted to say initially but since this feels like an equally good idea, why not?
Assuming that it is a wrong interpretation of a trend or concept about Ni, then how are we to explain Ni? I swear I always feel like I'm high as I explain a tertiary Ni or bottom Ni user how I interpret it. It's hilarious to experience because the order of my Se and their Ni are sort of switched. The communication there, especially if they aren't learned in MBTI is just frustratingly entertaining. A good challenge.
Out there, there are way better explanations on how Ni really manifests for an Ni-dom. I'll try to add three I like the most? First one is by an Ni-dom (INTJ). The second by an Ne-user (INFP). The third is by an Se-dom (ESFP).
Ni as a BACKGROUND APP
(pure Ni) you know how background apps are always running and taking space in your memory thus your battery as well? What this Background app does however is cataloguing seemingly random information into files until those files are complete and you end up with just a principle/concept that applies in reality.
This is my interpretation of what LiJo had mentioned in her video about Introverted Intuition.
With that and my lackluster walmart-quality explanation of LiJo, we might wonder what is even considered as information to Ni? Especially since it seems random.
Ni as a Circle
(information for Ni) lets say an experience has happened to an Ni and they said they learned from it. If you ask them to tell you what they learned, Ni would tend to tell the whole experience as a background context thus making that sequence of events into a circle of what they learned from it. In the opposite end, an Si user would tend to give the lesson first and have a rundown of the events.
Si user tend to interpret information as a bullet point in an outline while an Ni user tend to interpret information as a singular domino in a domino art. Both are/can be incredibly detailed in their own ways.
This is my interpretation from Casual Cognition's video on how Ni and Si see the past.
Here's more examples of differences, from my experiences and understanding of the stuff I've learned.
To me "information" for an Ni user is different from an Ne or Si user. So xNxP and xSxJ, they'd probably interpret it as a bullet in a list. That information is an idea we can connect to this idea but at the same time, that idea just works on its own.
Hence, they have some sort of keener eye for details. Not that the other side are blind to it. Maybe they do see the same detail but just don't give a shit.
However, Ni users like xNxJ and xSxP are a bit insane in that information to them is more of a cog in a clockwork. A missing piece to a puzzle. That information belongs somewhere. Sure it can be an idea that can be connected but there is a right place for it. xNxP users may understand it better if I say information has a soulmate (that is not a read I swear).
Keep in mind, Ni, Si, Ne, Se are perceiving functions aka they are the data gatherers. The eyes to your vision. The nose to your sense of smell. When those things you saw or smell get described or judged, that's on your Ti, Te, Fi, Fe. Think of them as a bias in the stuff you notice first.
Speaking of stuff we notice first, we give examples to understand a concept better. Problem with certain examples are they are what people call "stereotypical." One Ni stereotype is that they ask WHY a lot but everyone and anyone can ask WHY.
Ni as a "Why should you"
(why Ni even asks why) Ni is outcomes based, it needs a point to the whole "asking you why" discourse. And as they ask you why, they chisel down your ideas into a fundamental, simple, and refined or deeper concept of why you do something. Unlike Ne where they can also ask you why for the same reason, Ne won't narrow your answer down to an understanding of why you should do something. To Ne, your answer to why will be a different type of a certain picture while to Ni, it would be more like a part of your picture.
This is my interpretaion of Dear Kristin's 2 videos explaining all 8. One is on her other channel Literally no Subtext With Dear Kristin. A shorter explanation on her main.
One example of all these three coming along is when I mentioned three definitions I like the most. Now this is speculation and there are room for error so keep in mind that I could very well be wrong (and this will not work at all if you read this last part first). If you thought that when I said 3 definitions, I was going to introduce 3 different ways to define Ni, like different types of grass (the same thing but different in appearance), there is a higher chance you are an xNxP or xSxJ. I also probably frustrated you with this formatting. However if you read this and noticed how I made each of the definitions build on each other like one whole toolbox rather than several tools in the box, you got a glimpse of how Ni works.
I don't know why I keep pretending like I'm talking to someone whenever I make these posts. I know the brain didn't exactly macro evolve to understand how social media algorithms work yet but it manifests hilariously as me trying to imagine I'm talking to someone so that I don't find the fact anyone can see this from anywhere in the world at any time fully uncomfortable or alien.

hey hon !! I saw you were doing ships so I figured to submit one ( TP and/or BoB :) )
To get appearance out of the way — I’m 5’7, with short curly dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. I wear glasses, so I love being completely unable to see without them (/s)
I enjoy most if not all forms of creative expression, but writing is the main focus. I’m currently working towards getting my masters in English, so there’s that. That being said, I am also self-taught in art and music, and used to play soccer as well. I really enjoy painting and playing piano primarily :)
Personality wise my MBTI changes all the time so literally all I can put is “XNXP” truthfully — but beyond that I tend to be a pretty blunt and straightforward person. I’m pretty sarcastic and teasing especially with my friends. I’m very openminded and will try anything at least once. I know that the people in my life tend to see me as someone they can go to for advice / solutions because I don’t like to sugarcoat and they expect that sort of honesty from me.
My love languages are acts of service and physical touch especially. I don’t come across as huggy in real life but I am, in fact, very huggy and like to be useful so there’s that. I always felt that Actions speak louder than words when it comes to expressing appreciation, at least from my standing.
Yes thank you so much for your request! Btw I LOVEEE your fic Sad, Beautiful, Tragic. it’s so good omg (Also so sorry about the long wait!)🙃🧡
I ship you with…
Lewis Nixon!
Song recommendation: Perfect - One Direction
- Okay bestie hear me out, but when I was reading your description Nix just popped into my head, Some of the things you mentioned just reminded me of him, and not just that but I think your vibe matches him a lot!
- When he first met you, he would he more calm about his feelings towards you, he’d think to himself like, “Dang, they’re hot” but then I think he would try to dismiss it, he’s seen you around the town before but hasn’t made a move on you yet, just because you’re one of the first people who actually makes him a little nervous
- and also there was another thought in his head that you might already have someone (cause i mean cmon, you’re obviously super attractive, why wouldn’t already have somebody?) and wouldn’t want to be disrespectful towards you if you did already have a partner.
- But I think talking to you would be inevitable at some point, like he can’t just walk around you with out saying something to you forever, you guys would be at a bar or something on the weekend, so you already know it’s PACKED, and you go up to the actual bar to get a drink and that’s when you accidentally bump into him
- You immediately say sorry to him, and he’s just like 😳, he did NOT expect to see you there that night and he was totally unprepared (and we already know this man hates being unprepared)“Are you okay” You would smile at him, and then he’d snap back into reality like, “Oh, yeah, i’m great” His confidence would just burst out of his chest at that point. “How bout I buy you a drink?”
- I think then you guys would be talking all night long, til the bar closes at least. he’d even make sure to not drink too much that way he wouldn’t be blackout drunk in front of you and could talk to you in a somewhat sober way
- Y’all have that fun sarcastic humor so y’all would just be laughing it up in the bar before closing time. It was probably one of the nights where he genuinely had fun talking to someone (other than Dick ofc)
- Just in general though afterwards you guys share that same type of humor, like you guys love to joke around and tease each other, almost like best friends would. Like banter is used A LOT in your guys’ relationship, you guys also know not to take it too far so when you guys do joke around it never actually does turn into a fight/argument.
- you guys are both a very smart couple, but he finds you brilliant, How you can just write up a whole page of words in a couple minutes, is a whole SKILLL to him, he always asks you to read what you’ve written to him after you’ve finished too (if you’re comfortable with reading it ofc)
- he’s almost a little jealous of how smart you are, you’re wayyyy more creative then him and he loves your open minded attitude. When he has a question about anything musical or literature he’s going straight to you to ask.
- He also loves hearing you play piano, he might even ask you to teach him some basics if you want to, it’s so soft and melodic to him he just can’t help but feel peaceful when he listens to your playing, really just any other piece of music you play.
- Both of you have this thing, where you guys aren’t super huggish in public, but when you guys are with each other, y’all are so loving and it’s so cute 🥹 like both of you can leave this adorable side of you, just for the other person to see and it’s heart MELTINGGG
- Lew usually likes to keep the pda minimal around people or in the public, only holding hands, or a hand around your waist, But when you guys are together in private, he’s so much more affectionate to you like cuddles and everything 😭 you see this side of him that he barely shows you anyone else, like this cute and giggly side of him omg.
- He’s also is big about showing you that he cares about the little things in your guys relationship. Like if he stops by a shop and sees a bouqet, with your fav flowers he’ll get them for you, or if you’ve had a bad day he will sit and talk with you and will be there for you in the best way he can.
- he can be a little awkward when it comes to expressing his feelings to you, even though he totally loves you, he feels like he doesn’t ever know what to say, but you never hold that against him, he always try his hardest to show you that he loves you in other ways then just words.
- You like painting? please show him how to paint and he will be GLAD to do it with you sometime, That would also be such a cute date idea, like you and him painting with eachother and then showing one another their finished product after. Your painting would of course look better then his but he would never admit that 🤣
- And if any of the guys need some advice? They’re going straight to you guys if they want the full and honest truth. Y’all are the “OG couple” to some of the younger guys so if it’s anything having to do with relationships and they need some real advice, then they’re going to you guys.
- date nights with this man are always so fun! He can always find things that both you and him enjoy to do and will arrange everything! Honestly for dates your job is to just be there while he does everything else 😭
- But if you try to help him with anything he will not let you at all LMAO like he just wants to treat you like full on royalty and that means you not having to move a single inch for anything the whole entire time, just in general he’s more of a romantic, like giving you his jacket if you’re cold, opening doors, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, little things like that he really enjoys doing for you.
- When he finds out you used to play soccer he is SHOCKED, like he’ll ask you how good you are at it and little questions like that, you might even play him a little bit and just show him the basics of the sport 😭 one thing that he can’t wrap his head around is the fact that you can’t use your hands at all, and if you beat him in a one on one match he will definitely blame it on the fact that he can’t use his hands, “I can’t just use my feet, I feel like i’m gonna trip over this ball!” BAHAHAHA
- But you guys would be so perfect together, like it’s almost like dating your bestfriend, the chemistry is PHENOMENAL and when you guys are together it’s just so natural, neither of you have to act any different then how you guys already are, This relationship overall would be so so nice omg.
Thank you again for your request lovely! I had so much fun making this and i hope you enjoy!! 💛💖🤭

MBTI Perceiving Cognitive Functions Explained Fast & Dirty
Note: Sister post to judging functions explanations for @loupdelta
Perceiving Functions
Purpose: How you take in information from the world that informs the decisions you make via the judging functions.
Extraverted Sensing (Se): Taking in information that is happening in real-time around you using your 5 physical senses. It sounds simple and that's because it kind of is! These people live in the here and now, and they tend to use Se to make very practical and relevant decisions that directly impact the situation in front of them. They don't typically get caught up in impractible abstract ideas or outlandish notions and they deal only with observations that everybody can share.
Introverted Sensing (Si): Relying on information built up over time from the individual's personal experience/past. These people are also practical and don't tend to get caught up in irrelevant theories that can't be applied to the situation at hand. Think "the devil is in the details" for these people. They focus on even minute details so that they can make the most informed and pragmatic decisions as possible.
Extraverted Intuition (Ne): Relying on the exploration of all possible effects or outcomes of a particular situation that anyone could imagine. These people are big picture focused and don't get bogged down by details that have little impact. These people like to consider every potential future before making a decision so that they have the most complete description of what the situation currently is and what it will be like next after this person takes action.
Introverted Intuition (Ni): Taking in all aspects of a situation that the individual personally decides is important for decision-making, usually summarizing all of the information in a way that puts it into short and simple terms. These people are also big picture focused and enjoy using their short summaries to focus on what the most-likely future outcome will be. Highly theoretical, these people can prefer to use metaphors to describe the current situation and explain how the ending will come about.
For your reference, below are all 16 types with the order in which their cognitive functions are placed (essentially, in order of strength). I've organized them by their strongest perceiving functions.
Note: All types have both sensing and perceiving functions because everyone has the ability to focus on practical details and think about abstract big pictures.

which type do you think is most likely to make things unnecessarily complicated? like, when asked a question gives a rambling thousand word essay based on "vibes" and perceptions they have about the universe? (note what I'm talking about is not the XNXP mode of going off ideas/creativity but instead a kind of... unabashed, unconscious pretentiousness lol)
I'm not saying the following in an aggressive way, it's more of a musing
but I've always been baffled by the "which type is most likely to" questions that always come up in MBTI/enneagram discourse, like those:
even if there were good answers to those questions (there aren't), what's the purpose of asking this?
are you trying to type someone like this? or is it a purely theoretical question for the ~fun~ of it, no matter how shoddy the reasoning ends up being?
—
as for the meat of your question, I can't give you a semi-decent opinion because I don't know who you're talking about or what you're like yourself — I don't know what your words mean, evoke, point to
what you call pretentious and unnecessarily complicated, I might not recognize it as such (especially since you're apparently not talking about NP types lol)
I don't know what those words refer to concretely, I don't have any context
and I don't personally find it fun or useful to engage in vague generalizations without some frame of reference and common ground
that being said I do love vibes and perceptions about the universe, so you might actually be talking about me
