I’ve so often replaced phrases that include “bitch” as an insult into affectionate responses of fake-indignation (like when I’m losing at a board game or they made a very clever plan in an RPG) by replacing it with “butch” or “witch” like “oh you clever butch!” Or “oh you little witch!” Because it was such a small but natural step for me.

It turned an insult into, basically?, praise for my fiends, who deserve it.

And now. I can’t see the word “bitch” and not immediately mentally cross it out and replace it like that or extend it into “butch witch”.

MEET IDOL SPELL JAR

a spell jar and sigil to help meet your idol whether that be a single person or a group

GATHER:

basil - prosperity, love

bay - success, wish-craft

strawberry leaves - luck, dedication, love

ginger - love, power

cinnamon - love, speeds up spells, success

dandelion leaves - luck, wish-craft

candle (i used a white one)

green glitter - i associate green with luck

green sharpie - same thing as glitter

light the candle and play play your favourite songs from the artist/band, tv show or movie with them etc

put all the ingredients in the jar and imagine that you’re meeting them

create a sigil using your preferred method that says - “i will meet — soon”

in the green sharpie draw the sigil on the front and back of the jar and write the name/s of your idol 4 times on the lid (i wrote WDW)

blow out the candle and pour the molten wax on top of the jar

What is the purpose of this blog?

I have spent my life with horses, I love chronicling my achievements, interacting with other horse lovers and sharing in our successes, failures, trials and tears. I am entering into my first show season in many years which i hope will end with my first Event/Horse trial ever. 

Eventing has always been a dream of mine, but I’m a little different then your average up and coming eventer. First of all I’m 30, which isn’t the age most people usually enter this sport at. Second I am plus sized, there is a lot negativity surrounding plus sized riders in the equestrian community as it is. I’m not really sure how I’ll be accepted in the eventing community but I guess I will see! 

Also I don’t have the most traditional equines for eventing. Where most riders have their thoroughbreds and their warmbloods, my trusty steeds happen to be a Clydesdale and a Mule!! 

I am also a practicing pagan and a big supporter of being body positive. So this blog will be a mixture of eventing (both my progress and other info in the eventing world), Witchcraft, Magick, and Body Positivity. Enjoy!!!
