A small whine left your lips as the golden beams of the sunrise slipped through the half open curtains shrouding your shared bedrooms window.

It was 11am- and Ellie had given up moving the comfort of the soft mattress a long while ago due to you having made yourself very comfortable in her arms- legs wrapped firmly around Ellie's waist, face buried in her boobs and arms round her neck.

Small problem though- Ellie was supposed to be on the patrol scheduled at 6 am... Which was 5 hours ago...

Your arms squeezed around her neck a little, shuffling up a bit moving your face from her boobs to the crook of her neck.

"Mornin' baby" Ellie's rough morning voice whispered into your ear, a smile immediately forming on your face at the sound of her voice. "G'morning ..." You replied slowly, sleep still evident in your voice.

Her hand found it's way underneath your sleep shirt, rubbing circles of your lower back drawing a little hum of appreciation out of your mouth.

"We gotta get up sweet girl..." She murmured, making your happy hum turn into an annoyed groan.

"Don't wanna..."

"C'mon~ you know we have to... I know I tired you out last night, but c'mon baby...," She joked, only to be answered by a small hit in your shoulder.

You ignored her- eyes fluttering shut in defiance, a small exhale of breath as you try to give into the lull of sleep again.

"Okay, I see how it his.' she tuts, her hand resting on the small of your back begins to creep up your spine, fingers dragging a long the skin before she began tickling you- laughter and pleads for mercy were met on deaf ears as Ellie grins mischievously, her hands not ceasing until-

"OKAY OKAY- I'm getting up, I'm getting up!!!" You shriek wriggling away from Ellie and dashing off the bed- dressed only in her t-shirt.

You quickly ran into the bathroom attached to the bedroom, picking up a knitted blue sweater, panties and shorts and getting changed swiftly- tying up your hair messily and brushing your teeth.

A quiet knock came from the other side of the bathroom door. "You ready baby?", You spat out the toothpaste, wiping your mouth an a wash cloth before leaving the washroom.

"Yeah." Your hand laced with hers. "Let's go"

The loud bustle of the food hall hit your ears at the same time the smell did. A hint of fresh pastries, dairy and meat drifting through the air.

"Imma go grab us a plate. Do you want the usual?", You asked as Ellie sat down at your usual table. "Please babe"

You had wandered off like you usually did, picked up a tray with two plates and two glasses on it before piling on food- and pouring freshly squeezed apple juice into the glasses.

"Ellie." Maria's voice called out to Ellie, as she approached the table she was sitting at. "Maria." She replied looking up at the woman, knowing already what she was going to say.

"so... You gonna tell me where you were this morning?" She said, her hand on her hip and a stern scolding look in her eyes.

"You should ask your daughter... And speak of the devil" she smiled as you approached the table, placing the full tray down on the wooden table.

"oh hi mama! What are we talking about?"
