Relistening to Throne of Glass again and a part where Celaena talks about “countless other worlds too…” it just kind of amazes me they know these other worlds exist but yet they don’t seek to care about them. If I were in that universe I think I might be obsessed with trying to leans more about them, trying to open portals.

Who wants a fanfic about the Dusk Court being built up in secret and fixing the Night Court's shit after getting sick of it. I already have a fic idea planned about Rhysand's sister.

Basically instead of Tamlin's father killing her he locks her away, but he died so she was stuck there for 500 years until Tamlin finds her. She sees all the dumb shit Rhysand pulled and takes over the night court with Illyrian backing.

Maybe an Azriel romance with a ton of angst(because he's the most reasonable of the bat boys) and she teams up with Nesta.

She's equally as powerful as Rhysand, if not more, and had 500 years to carefully hone her magic, and anger.

Annnddd plot twist- she was meant to be high lord but relinquished the power to Rhysand since she was trapped.

She throws Rhysand's crimes in his face and then kicks him

She restores the CoN and actually fixes the problems within the Illyrian mountains

I will totally write this (and/or collaborate) if anyone thinks its interesting

I also still don't understand why there's no dusk court, it logically fits in, but nope!

Sure I’m glad (mostly) that YA is the booming juggernaut it is today because it’s cool that 14 year olds can have stories for them. Sure. More books is always better. That’s fun— thoughts on book influencer culture and grown-ups and literature as soulless and ever-churning product aside. It’s cool to walk into any tiny neighborhood library branch and see a dedicated space for teenagers. When I was a young teenager there were a couple of small shelves in between adult audiobooks and the biographical section where you walked in and your choices were either Twilight, Eragon, or some candy-pink Sex And The City-lite dishy little book like the one that has got some reason come rushing unbidden to the forefront of my memory this morning called “Vegan Virgin Valentine” which I never wound up reading but was always compelled by through a mixture of intrigue and condescension. The YA landscape pre-Hunger Games mania was like…here’s a super scandalous book about anorexia or teen pregnancy written in verse. Or a pandering Book For Boys about combat or fart humor. Or a twilight knock-off about a girl who has sex with a ghost. So while any glimpse of the bloated realm of teen publishing makes me feel exhausted on account of the feverish adult fans who populate it it’s probably full of important stories for teenagers. But like truly Kids These Days have no idea what it’s like to have your only option be called “The Earth, My Butt, And Other Big Round Things” (real) or “Everlost: Soulfyre Book 3” (fabricated poorly for effect)

Yesterday I was rocking the three leading ladies (⚔️) shirt from caffeine and curses and today I was rocking my HU Ariel shirt I got for Peanut's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY (it's been sitting up high on my closet shelf since then (she turns seven in august)) and I finally took the tags off this morning and was like you know what?! Yolo, right? Seize the day?! I've been feeling myself lately. (Don't mind my frizzy hair in the second picture though, I don't know what's up with that ha.)

Also don't mind the baggy jeans in the first pic, I had to get new ones and while the skinny jeans fit, the flares (which are my preferred style) were four inches too long so I'm waiting for my mom to hem them and who knows how long that will take... my husband said for the birthday we went to earlier, they (the baggy ones) looked 'sloppy' with my nice shirt but they were fine for just lounging with my bestie around the house yesterday, so, there we go 🤷🏽‍♀️

But I got so many compliments on my hair + shirt + overall 'look' today between two birthdays plus the sushi take out place for dinner, my head was spinning 🤯 I know I shouldn't care what others think of me, but when what everyone else thinks is positive and I'm the only one thinking negative thoughts about myself... maybe I should try listening to them?

Okay, enough rambling. I didn't mean for it to be this long. Just wanted to share some, gasp, dare I say it, CUTE pictures of me?! Ha, okay, that's enough. Sweet dreams, tumblr friends.
