"He's waiting for you at the House of Wind," Azriel went on. "At home." Another blink from Nesta. The silver fire banked a little. Like whoever Cassian was, and whatever the House of Wind was … they might be the only things capable of fighting the siren song of the Mask. "Gwyn and Emerie are waiting," Azriel pushed. "And Feyre and Elain." The silver flame flared at that. Then Azriel said, "Nyx is waiting, too." The silver flame went out entirely.

Cassian: Talk to Nesta? Like a normal human being?

Feyre: Yes, that's exactly what I want you to do.

Cassian: I have nothing in common with that woman! She is a goddess who's descended from the heavens; And I'm just a mud male from the bowels of Illyria.

I love the artists in this fandom and the commissioners, they're doing gods work but...

I AM SO TIRED of seeing Cassian having the same height as Nesta or being a little bit taller.

This is Cassian:

Nesta had to rose on her toes to see over his shoulders!!! THAT MAN IS HUGE AF!!!

AND he's a hunk. He's a 500 years old warrior, with big muscles that can crush you head if you happen to be between them... (I meant his arms get that out of your head)

I've been searching for a reference for Hades & Persephone and Google put those artworks from DominiqueWesson and Morgana0anagron of Nesta and Cassian.

As much as I don't trust SJM, I highly doubt she would make Nesta the hero of Crescent City only to make her a villain of ACOTAR.

At some point the IC has to come to the realization that Nesta helped to defeat the Asteri. They will never be a threat to Prythian ever again.

And not only that, but you would think the IC would have been sympathetic toward Bryce and Midgard, considering they were enslaved for fifty years, and it's still something that eats at them. But they couldn't care less about Bryce's world not knowing anything but enslavement for 15,000 years. The IC would rather kill Bryce and let the Asteri enslave Midgard if it means that Prythian is free. But yet Nesta, this female who has never known enslavement and who is treated like she's this selfish monster, cared enough about a whole other world to help them.

Personally, I think SJM is going to use the IC's treatment of Nesta to fuel character development and Nesta's Starborn journey. I do think Nesta will find out she's Starborn, come into even more power, and revive and ultimately rule the Dusk Court. Cassian is going to have to come to terms with his confliction and why he never sides with Nesta when it comes to Rhysand. Why he doesn't defend her or protect her when Rhysand is involved. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Rhysand's mother gave Cassian his first home, his first bed, his first present. I think it has a lot to do with Cassian feeling like he failed Rhysand during those fifty years under Amarantha's reign, and him trying to make up for it for the rest of his life. But, ultimately, Cassian's going to need to realize that his brother is a complete and total bully to Nesta, and that for her well-being, he needs to go with her...away from Rhysand.

I also decided to do the tattoos differently than I've drawn Illyrian tattoos before - these are loosely based on Maori/Pacific islander tattoos, though I'll admit my research was v limited this time
