A Disturbed State Of The Natural Environment, Gods-Fucking-Dammit
A Pada-Wan Story
Tumblr media
for @lttrsfrmlnrrgby
“Obi— Commander Kenobi-“
“You can call me Obi-Wan, Cody,” the kid huffs. “Neither you nor I will suddenly combust into a ball of fire if you do.”
You don’t know that, Cody thinks, not liking how his voice sounds in his mind.
Four days since the incident - or, “The Incident,” how Boil and Waxer like to say in unison with the bucket lights under their chins -, two since the 104th of all Battalions received their signal and towed the 212th fleet to the nearest station within the Republic that would allow them to overhaul the ships’ electronics.
It has been exactly two point five hours since Wolffe stopped wheezing at Cody over comms. Nearly as much time as the kid had vanished from under Cody’s paranoid nose.
“Councilor Kenobi is safe and sound,” General Koon had assured him while Wolffe stood at perfect parade rest a step behind, shriek-laughing his armor off.
The kid sighs. “You have come here for a reason?” he asks, stubborn and prim. “Or is Wooley babysitting me not enough?” He points a thumb over his shoulder to Wooley popping up several yards away, waving.
“If you haven’t noticed Hook, Line, and Sinker also keeping an eye on you, my trepidations are justified.”
The kid rolls his eyes, gesturing to three empty looking spots in the distance. “I am well aware Master Koon is in league with you.”
Cody will not explain safety precautions again. He’s saving that for when the kid really sets out to stomp on any and all walls Cody had to hastily and thoroughly built when his General, his partner, suddenly turned into a child at the worst possible development stage for Cody’s sanity.
The kid studies him while Cody is trying to come up with a legitimate reason for looking for him. Direct admittance to personal concern would backfire on Cody in multiple, entertaining ways, and he frankly doesn’t want to deal with that. From the kid being smug that Cody cares about him very much so keeping his distance must mean something more. To accusations of not trusting Obi-Wan (which, correct, Cody doesn’t know him after all), seeing him as a kid (also true) when he’s sixteen and basically a stone’s throw away from becoming a geezer.
Sixteen. Cody shudders. He remembers very well that half year when he was that developmental age. He shudders again. Gods, the mood swings alone.
“I am reasonably paranoid about your welfare,” he says at last. Wooden which makes him cringe but he’s never lied to Obi-Wan and he’s not starting now.
The kid stares at him for a while. One corner of his mouth quirks up with a shrug and a shuttered look in his eyes Cody desperately wants to make better. “It’s different when they really are out to get you, isn’t it.” The Council had explained how precarious his older self’s safety was at the best of times. Cody had only seen the aftermath and the accompanying ranting about life choices with the occasional visibly happy understanding that Obi-Wan could, actually, grow a non-patchy beard when he’s got a few more years on him.
“May I sit with you?” Cody asks. Shoveling his own metaphorical grave is so much easier with mixed signals after all. But he misses the older Obi-Wan. It’s not fair of him but he needs this.
The expected blush blooms on freckled cheeks. “Yes, of course!” is the eager reply, followed by more blushing.
It’s endearingly cute and Cody would like to chew on his bucket now.
The kid scoots over, wide eyed and expectant.
Gingerly, Cody lowers himself, ignoring the armor digging into his ass and thighs. And lets the silence stretch.
This, really, is what he came here for. A self-indulgent little break to catch his breath. The High General of a Systems Army is compromised and that fact has to remain eyes only to an exclusive handful of people. Only the Jedi Council knows out of obvious necessity. So it’s up to Cody to keep everything else running, keeping the admiralty in the dark because even teenaged Obi-Wan had said he’s got a bad feeling if they were to tell the brass. So they haven’t.
Usually, when flimsiwork and war horrors keep stacking up and expand into an avalanche, Obi-Wan and Cody sit together in silence, sharing a precious cup of real tea, being together and lending support and strength they can’t find for themselves but can always, always find for each other.
Selfishly he wants that strength from Obi-Wan now, the warmth of his body nearby. He’s already breathing easier.
The kid is looking at him curiously, but Cody chooses not to say anything. Instead he turns forward once more, watching the busy night markets of the station and the stars behind it. After a moment the kid does the same.
Shoulders slowly relax and the silence becomes comfortable.

✩ WEEKLY FIC ROUND-UP ✩
All the fics I’ve read and really enjoyed in the past week-ish. Reminder: This list features any and all ratings and themes. Please look at tags and warnings on ao3 before reading.
DC
midnight sun by merils
Who would win: four men with guns who just happened to get Red Robin to walk into a trap, or one royally-pissed Kryptonian juggernaut?
Yeah, it's not even a contest.
reasons are better than rules by destiny919
"No one will actually explain Father's rules to me," Damian blurts out. "They tell me we don't kill, and killing is wrong, and Father would never do it, but no one ever actually says why! As if repeating the rule is the same as explaining it! As if I am supposed to just know, when I do not!"
Drake is quiet, eyes on something in the distance that Damian cannot see. "Damian, may I tell you a secret?"
Marvel
Thirty Hours by polaroid15
The sun sets. Peter breaks three toes and hits his head hard against concrete. There’s a steadily bleeding wound in his side that he’s staunched with his webbing and tries not to acknowledge it when it burns. He can still walk in a straight line, which is good. He’s starving and tired and cold. It’s been fifteen hours.
Or, Peter doesn't take any breaks during a lengthy fight with the Avengers. The mind-melting fever that follows really should have been expected.
Clone Wars
An Hourglass In Hand by ecarian
“I thought daemons didn’t eat,” Rex noted once, during a celebration feast, as he and Cody watched Boga devour her meal with some fascination. Varactyl she may be, but she was a tiny one. There wasn't much interior space for the truly momentous amount of meat she was ripping into.
Boga daintily rubbed her beak against a folded serviette that looked kind of like a bird, and said, prim, “I can do anything a human can do.”
“Oh?” Obi-Wan said mildly, from where he’d been tapping at a datapad. “Shall I save you a portion of these reports then?”
Set My Mind at Ease by Eightbitpale
Marshal Commander Cody - clone commanding officer of the 7th Sky Corps, second in command of the 212th attack battalion and, currently, the proud caretaker of one still-warm lightsaber - was having a very long day.
Actually, fuck that. It had been more than a long day. Long days were Cody’s bread and butter, practically his comfort zone. Marshall Commander Cody ate stim shots for breakfast and every shiny this side of Coruscant knew it. Long days were his bitch.
No, this had been more than a long day. Today had been a bad day.
———
The one where Cody and his general try their best to tell each other that they care. At least they’re trying.
Your Smile In Stone by ecarian
Wooley: can we arrest people for yelling this early?
There were two figures standing at the foot of General Kenobi's statue with their backs to Wooley, an adult with a hood, and a child with light hair. The child was pointing at a puddle of Temple tookas who were curled up in General Kenobi’s lap, lounging in the stone folds of his robes, the bend of his knee.
Wooley: belay that. Child nuisance.
The Goblin Emperor
Sweet Hope by baladric
Maia Drazhar arranges a festival, meets his gay aunt, falls in love with his secretary, and misses his mom through it all.
"In the way of true stories, there was no discernible beginning. Perhaps it had begun that first day, in the shabby receiving room at Edonomee; in the cockpit of the Radiance of Cairado; at the mooring mast of the Untheileneise Court, with that first smile.
The pith of the matter was that Maia Drazhar was wildly, tremulously in love, and love had made fools of much wiser men than he."
In All Its Forms by Anonymous
Before his father ruined everything, Nurevis Chavar only thought to introduce the new emperor to all the most beautiful things life could offer.
When he found himself free from relegation again after his father's death, would the emperor whose friendship he had sought so long ago wish his presence at court? And, if he could return to court, would his emperor wish his friendship again?

Summary: This is an ABO Bad batch!Poly x Omega Reader smut with a plot. This takes place as an AU before order 66. Y/N previously served under the 501st before being transferred to Special Forces 99. This is her adventure with these rowdy Alphas in a quickly changing universe.
THIS IS AN ABO AU ABOUT THE BAD BATCH (NO CANON OMEGA!) Due to the unfortunate situation of her name being Omega… Omega the child from the canon series is not going to be apart of this fanfic/porn with a plot. I feel obligated to put this warning in because it makes my skin crawl thinking anyone could make that mistake.
Warnings: Angst, smut, hopecore? idk.

The ride to Rex’s secret base of operations was a long one. You suspected it was in the outer rim based on how long you all had been traveling in hyperspace.
You had curled up with Crosshair on the floor trying to stay warm with your still damp clothes. One of the regs had found a janky old heating lamp that flickered as everyone huddled around trying to keep the cold space chills away. It wasn’t working.
“We’re not too far out!” Wooley had emerged from the cockpit, “We’ll be leaving hyper space soon.”
You sighed with relief. You could’t wait to get off this ship and see the others.
Through the bond you could sense Crosshair’s trepidation.
“What’s wrong?” You asked looking up at him.
He just grunted chewing on his toothpick.
You huffed and shuffled back down knowing it was a waste of time to pry. He’ll tell you when he’s ready.
When the ship suddenly jolted forwards, exiting hyperspace and the pilot downshifted making the ship rumble, you stood up with the others feeling the cargo ship enter the planets’s atmosphere with a rough shake. Standing on wobbly feet, you grabbed ahold of the cargo straps feeling Crosshair stand protectively at your back keeping you both in place.
With a couple of jolts and jostles you felt the ship touch down on solid ground before settling into stillness. The engines were cut, and the cargo hatch made a whining creek sound as it folded open revealing the pink skies of this strange planet. The ship had landed on an elevated platform high in the sky and in front of you was a very old building. Seemingly an old Jedi monastery from the looks of it.
The air was warm and humid with a strange terrestrial smell you weren’t familiar with. The others stepped outside before you, Wolffe, Crosshair, Bolts, Stunner, and Grim held up the flank.
Following the other groups of regs in unmarked armor, they lead you all inside the main monastery door. Once inside, you nearly gasped from all of the regs who had made this place a home. It was absolutely crawling with men. From every battalion, squadron, and special forces unit under the GAR. You could’t believe it. They had converted this place into a fully operational military base.
Holo displays were everywhere monitoring the ships in the hyperspace lanes, there were men busy listening to com chatter, and others discussing strategy. They had built a tiny army here.
You looked at the boys and they seemed to be just as impressed as you are.
“Tiny!”
You spun around to see Rex approaching you with his helmet on his hip. He had a very happy smile on his face even though he was covered in a fair amount of blaster residue. You trotted over to him practically flinging yourself at him.
“You got my message! You came!”
He squeezed you, “Of course I did, kid. You’re pack. We don’t leave pack behind.”
Crosshair got called over by Wolffe to look at a holomap of the Marauder. Clearly it had to do with his brothers.
“I can’t believe this place, Rex.” You looked around, “How long did this take to put together?”
“At the end of the war, Tano and I knew if we wanted to save any of the clones, we were going to have to put together a group.” He pulled up a small holo image of something familiar, “We created a network, Fulcrum.” He handed you the puck, “It’s a spy network trying to free the troopers from imperial control. We may not have been able to save our pack, but we’re hoping we can save others.”
You felt a pang of sadness hit thinking about the 501st.
“We need medics, Y/N. I know you’ve been through a lot, but we need soldiers like you.” He watched you slide the puck into your pocket, “We have a home here. You and your alphas are welcome to stay. We only have each other now.” He shrugged.
You nodded taking his invitation to heart.
Rex then scratched the back of his awkwardly, “Also, I wasn’t sure how to break the news to you, I was hoping Seargent Hunter would be here, but…”
“Y/N?”
You turned around to see an unmarked reg approach. You watched him take off his helmet to reveal a scarred cheek and a fluffed up haircut.
Your eyes widened in shock, “H-Howzer?” Oh shit.
“Mesh’la…” He closed the distance and picked you up bringing into his chest. You struggled slightly squirming in his arms, “W-wait Howzer!…”
“Put her the fuck down!” Crosshair’s growl made the hair stand up on your arms and the entire base to go eerily silent.
He approached menacingly with his extremely narrowed eyes. Oh kark. He was pissed. Crosshair curled his fists determined to get his mate back and away from this strange alpha.
Howzer stilled, knitting his brow together, before setting you down gently and turning to face the sniper. Howzer stood protectively in front of you crossing his arms with a stern brow raised sizing up your mate. Oh shit. You couldn’t believe this was happening right now. Your heart raced and suddenly the room was filled with your anxious pheromones.
You noticed the others in the room bristle slightly as the scents mingled.
Howzer’s stance only pissed off Crosshair even more. How dare this reg get in-between him and his mate.
“Omega, come.” Crosshair ordered pointing a finger at the ground next to him.
You felt your stomach drop knowing the next few seconds were going to change this dynamic drastically.
You stepped to the side, and tiptoed out from behind the captain, just to nestle into Crosshair’s side where he had pointed previously. Crosshair didn’t need to use his alpha tone with you, you knew he wouldn’t. But, you also obeyed knowing this was not the time to try and make a point about how silly this all was.
Howzer just gave you a confused and slightly shocked expression watching you cozy up to Crosshair, of all alphas. His disappointment was palpable. Then you saw his eyes flick down to the bite wound on your neck next to the property collar will dazzling around your lithe collarbones.
“You’re mated?” He asked with an angry tone.
You nodded, “Y-yeah.”
You didn’t know what was worse, the look he was giving you now, or the self imposed guilt of having to inform your ex-alpha that you were no longer his…
“You fucking collared her!?” Your old alpha roared raising his fists. You squirmed feeling Crosshair nudge you behind him protectively.
He just replied sardonically, “And if I did?”
Dammit Cross… You couldn’t hold in the frustrate sigh, always picking fights…
It was Rex’s turn to look at you sideways, his disgust was also noticeable. The clones know a thing or two about slavery. The offending object raised and lowered quickly with your breath seemingly catching everyone’s attention now. You suddenly desperately wished for it to be gone.
“I always knew you were fucked up 99.” Howzer bared his teeth, “Killed all my men, tried to kill me too… now this?” He gestured to your neck, “It didn’t shock me you ended up with the imperials.”
You froze in place, but your eyes trailed up to the back on Crosshair’s silver haired head. He tried to what?!
You knew he had done bad things in the name of the empire, but slaughtering Howzer’s men…
“Had I known who you were, I would have put that bullet between your eyes back on Ryloth.” Crosshair snarled back.
“You can sure try.” Howzer challenged.
Wolffe, Bolts, Grim, and Stunner all came forward with their arms raised.
Wolffe stepped forwards getting in the middle to try and stop the fight, “Alright! Alright! Enough!” He sighed looking tired, “ Crosshair didn’t collar her, Tarkin did!” That bit of clarification seemed to be enough to de-escalate Howzer just slightly. “Now I don’t know what in the Sith’s hells is going on here, but I’ve been on the opposite end of 99’s wrath, and trust me Captain now is not the time for this.”
Crosshair raised a suspicious brow, he never thought he’d actually see Wolffe defending him.
Howzer didn’t seem any less angry still feeling the ugly head of jealousy raging at the site of you tucked under the Sniper’s arm.
“Now, what we now know about that little omega, is that she’s very important to the empire. She’s not just Crosshair’s mate, but also the other 99’s. Tarkin wanted her for experiments, along with the rest of us.” He pointed to the other clones in black civvies. “A day before you all arrived, we were drugged with SRA that drove us all into a rut. We’re all a little stirred up so let’s calm down for the sake of everyone here.” Wolffe was starting to remind you of an exhausted dad. You had to hold in a little chuckle, always a soldier.
“Tell them what you know, Tiny.” Grim urged, “You needed to talk to Rex.”
You nodded and stepped around to Crosshair’s front and held out your hand to the Captain, “Nala Se gave me this before we escaped the base. She said it held all of my genetic records from the empire and also something that could assist the CT’s. She wiped the data base before giving it to me.” You stepped forward to place it into his hand, “It seemed important.”
Rex took the drive with a nod and looked down at the little silver metal piece turning the holo drive over in his glued fingers.
Howzer stepped forwards, “What the hell is going on here?” He looked at you directly, “You were supposed to be mine… you were mine. Now, this?” He gestured to your mate.
Crosshair growled possessively raising an accusatory finger shoving it into Howler’s chest, “Should have sealed the deal then. But this omega… is mine.” You whimpered not liking this tension one bit. You may be matted to Crosshair, but you did have such a respect for Howzer from before.
Howzer stared at Crosshair before shifting his dejected gaze to you.
You sighed, “It’s complicated, Captain.” You lowered your eyes not liking the feeling of his disappointment.
Howzer huffed, “Is it now?”
Wolffe walked up trying to ease the tension, “Trust her, it is…”
“You have no idea, brother.” Grim put a hand on his hip watching Howler bristle.
Howzer scrunched his brow, “Well someone, enlighten me.”
Rex just stepped forwards putting a hand on Howzer’s shoulder, “Well the long in the short is that, Tiny, is a rare variant of omega. She can have multiple mates. They happen to be the 99s. Though, the news of her being mated to Crosshair is new to me.” He raised a skeptical brow at you, “I guess a congratulations is in order.”
“Thanks Rex.” You gave him a small smile.
“The imperials gassed the base on Naboo with SRA.” Wolffe filled in the blanks, “They wanted clone pups. They also wanted Y/N cloned for the purpose to making more Ori’sol omegas for their breeding program.”
“Breeding program?” Rex asked confused.
“Thats why they sent me after her.” Crosshair rubbed a possessive hand over your neck and healing mark, “Admiral Tarkin was going to create a new elite army with our pups.”
Rex furrowed his brow and gestured to your stomach, “Does that mean…”
“No!” Both you and Crosshair blurted out, “No…” You shook your head, “No pups. Crosshair made sure I was safe, they didn’t know.”
Rex just nodded letting his protective side settle down. You knew he would have had a conniption if that news was sprung on him too. Imagine, a secret military base with a pup running around, good gods.
“Is that why there were so many clones in that base?” A familiar figure stepped forwards.
Cody.
You smiled at him too. He gave you a little nod of acknowledgment.
“Rounded up as many of us as they could.” Grim replied, “Had us pairing up with the captured omegas.”
“That explains a lot.” Rex noted.
You looked back at Howzer who was watching you longingly. Your heart ached with guilt seeing the hurt on his brow. This must be a lot to process for him. You weren’t his only omega, but you were definitely his most consistent. You were on Ryloth long enough to get to know the captain, but you never pursued any sort of relationship due to the on going war. He must be devastated seeing you with Crosshair. It wasn’t lost on you that the man had developed some kind of feelings for you after everything.
Crosshair gave you a little squeeze pulling your attention back to him. He studied your eyes rubbing his thumb on your cheek.
You could tell he was dying to lay into Howzer, but he was keeping his calm for your sake.
In the background, Rex took the hollow drive and plugged it into the display table. Suddenly a massive projection of your entire genetic system popped up. One of the troopers you didn’t recognize began reading the reports.
“Rex, you gotta see this.” He pointed to something floating by your DNA strands.
You and Crosshair nuzzled together as the others began to gather around the table. You watched Howzer disappear into the crowd of clones needing some time to process clearly.
“Did you really kill his men?” You asked.
Crosshair just gave you a short grunt confirming it.
“Would you have really killed him?” You asked.
“The empire didn’t inform me of who he was.” He explained as he smoothed your hair down, “They sent me retrieve him from Ryloth for interrogation. His unit didn’t come willingly. In hindsight I realize it was because they were searching for you, and wanted him for information. But at that time I believed you to be dead, If I had known, I probably would have…. Still considering it.”
You looked up at him with a shocked expression. But he just smiled and chuckled.
He was joking… “Oh my gods, don’t say things like that.” You smacked his chest.
A clone trooper in a flight uniform came running inside, “We got incoming!”
You perked your head up turning to face the main doorway. In came another group of scared and confused omegas along with more clone troopers. Blankets and food was being passed around as more and more people entered the hall.
They shuffled inside looking even more distraught after the events on Naboo. Some still covered in blaster residue and in their imperial garments.
You watched as the crowd began to lighten up before you noticed a very distinct helmet appear from the darkness.
“Hunter.” You breathed.
You flung yourself forward running at full speed crashing into your Sargent before he even had a chance to remove his helmet.
He grunted with the impact of your body before throwing his helmet carelessly to the side before picking you up and holding you to his armored chest.
You started crying finally feeling the empty bit in your chest begin to fill with his presence again. Rubbing your cheek into his to spread his scent, he nuzzled into your hair practically inhaling your smell.
“Mesh’la.” He breathed, “Fuck. I missed you my love.” He buried his head into your hair breathing you in, refusing to let go. You just wrapped yourself around his torso with your legs letting him hold you tightly.
“You found me.” You whimpered into his neck nuzzling his scent into your nose.
“Of course we found you, Adi’ka.” He replied gruffly before pulling back to press his lips to yours. You melted immediately into his plush soft kiss. Carding your fingers through his lengthy hair, you massaged his scalp as he deepened the kiss making you mewl.
“Pip?” Wrecker’s hopeful voice snapped you out of your haze. Hunter spun the two of you to see Tech, Wrecker, and Echo jogging towards you both from the landing platform.
Hunter set you down, letting you unwrap yourself before the other three surrounded you in a group hug squeezing you nearly to death. You were being smothered in kisses and touches and hugs.
Crosshair watched as the three other 99’s fawned over you, asking you a million questions you struggled to answer. They wanted to know everything. What happened. Were you hurt? How did you get to the bas eon Naboo? What was going on there?
Hunter caught his attention as his older brother stared at him with one of his intense scrutinizing glares. He was still pissed about the events on Bracca apparently, even though now he was starting to realize that Crosshair was much different.
Then it was like an epiphany went off in hunter’s head. He looked at Crosshair with a raised brow, then over to you, sniffing the air slightly. What you didn’t know, was that he was hearing something even stranger…
“What did you do?” Hunter’s smokey voice turned hardened at his little brother.
Wrecker let go of you to look up at his Hunter sensing a change in energy.
Hunter looked at your chest before whipping his head around to face his little brother.
“What. Did. You. Do.” Hunter narrowed is eyes. He pointed a gloved finger at you, “Her heart… it beats… with yours.”
Crosshair just stood emotionless, but you could sense his panic through the bond. Hunter’s intensity was unsettling to the sniper. Always has been.
“H-Hunter, wait it’s not what-“ You began, but Tech cut you off as his finger pried at your neck. He tugged on the metal welded around your neck with a horrified look. He ran his fingers over the aurebesh engraving declaring you his twin’s property. Then his fingers went down to your mating gland where he traced a finger over the marred skin. It looked freshly healed where Crosshair had punctured your flesh marking you as his with two little raised bumps.
“He bit you?” Tech said rubbing the gland making you flush at his touch. He forgot how stimulating that was for you.
You barely had time to register the eldest charging at Crosshair before the sound of his fist colliding with his little bother’s cheek snapped you out of the haze.
You screamed watching Hunter and Crosshair roll around on the temple floor. Echo kept you from running forwards not wanting you to get hurt in their scuffle. He held you firmly under his arm.
“Shit.” Rex leapt into action along with Wolffe, and shockingly, Howzer.
Crosshair had Hunter pinned and was pummeling his forearms as his brother blocked his hits. But Hunter wasn’t giving up, fueled by rage, he threw his little brother off of him and cold cocked him in the jaw sending them both tumbling to the ground.
“Alright! Alright!” Wolffe used his commanding voice. He bent down and yanked Crosshair back right as Rex got a hold of Hunter.
“How could you Crosshair?!” Hunter snarled. The two were being scrubbed by the collar like two tookas.
Wrecked walked over to put himself between his brothers as the verbal fight broke out, as they tugged against their restraints trying to lunge at one another again.
You whimpered, unable to watch the fight anymore. Feeling suddenly extremely claustrophobic, you turned around looking at Tech, “Please! Please Tech!” You yanked and tugged at the collar, “Please take this off.” You begged.
He nodded and reached around in his tool belt grabbing your abused laser suture.
“Echo give me your glove.” Tech said.
Echo handed it over before running his flesh hand over your shoulder trying to soothe you.
Tech nudged the glove under the collar gently, before bringing out the tools. Very carefully, he brought the glowing plasma point up to the Imperial durasteel collar and got to work weakening the welding points as you squirmed uncomfortably.
“How could you do this to her?” Hunter snarled, “She nearly died when you turned to the empire!”
“I didn’t turn to the empire!” Crosshair snapped.
“You tried to kill her!”
You could feel Crosshair’s hurt through the bond at Hunter’s words… he didn’t mean to.
“You know I didn’t have control. I would never fucking hurt her!” Crosshair’s glare darkened, “You’re the one who left me behind! You left me under their control!… I thought we were brothers!”
Hunter looked like he had just been punched in the gut.
The sergeant stared at his brother letting his mouth hang open slightly unsure how to respond.
Tech finally freed you from the property collar wrenching it open only to let it fall to the ground with a deafening clatter. The silence that followed after sent a chill down your spine.
You looked over at Hunter who eyed the metal at your feet.
You cleared your throat before speaking, “I did it!” You looked to the eldest, “I mated Crosshair…. I bit him. It’s my fault…Please Hunter don’t be mad at him.” You wanted this stupid fight to end. It hurt your watching them argue, especially over something Hunter doesn’t even understand.
Once again Hunter looked shocked and appalled. He stood up straight staring at you with a bated breath. You could feel the sour taste of his disappointment too. He shook off Rex and stormed out of the hangar not even able to look at you for one more second… kriff. You sighed.
He fucking hates you. You suddenly felt sick with anxiety and fought back the urge to vomit.
What should have been a happy reunion had suddenly turned sour.
You felt Tech and Wrecker disappear, heading after Hunter leaving you alone with Echo and Crosshair. Dammit.
“Y/N, what happened?” Echo asked bringing you into a hug. The only one giving you an ounce of empathy.
“Ask Wolffe, he’ll tell you.“ You sighed pushing away unable to bare anymore of this, “I’ve had enough for today. Is there a place I can rest for a bit?” You looked to Rex who nodded and gave ordered to his men to guide you to a quiet place.
You followed behind the clones letting them lead you to a spare room that had been converted into living space. You looked around realizing this is Rex’s quarters. You sighed and rubbed at your neck finally feeling lighter now that, that offending metal was gone and you were free again.
The door whooshed open to reveal your mate. He stepped inside looking exhausted and his chin a nasty swelling red.
“I knew it was wrong to leave you with the imperials.” You said quietly feeling the tears rise in your eyes, “I told them.”
He nodded putting a toothpick in his mouth. Of course he managed to find one even here on this remote base.
“Hunter’s always been good at protecting the group.” Crosshair drawled, “We have a plan, you know, if one of us isn’t going to make it back.”
You looked up at him with bleary eyes.
“Plan 99.” He nodded, “A suicide mission.”
“But you weren’t sacrificing yourself for the group.” You whimpered, “We left you and that was fucked up.”
He scoffed, “Given the circumstances I understand him… doesn’t make it hurt any less. But what were four of them going agains the empire really going to do.”
“Cross.” You sighed, “We should have gotten you the second we knew about the chips. I should… I should have pushed harder.”
“He wouldn’t have listened to you.” Crosshair sat in the chair against the wall facing you, “And it’s not your fault, love. His main concern was protecting you.”
“Why are you justifying his actions? You sounded so hurt!” You whimpered wiping away a falling tear.
“We’re brothers.” He rolled his eyes, “It’s what we do.”
You just whined and let the tears keep falling, “I think he hates me.”
Crosshair motioned for you to come to him. You walked over standing between his open legs. He tugged you down so you were sitting on his lap. He pulled you in close so you rested against his chest and he tucked your head under his chin.
“He doesn’t hate you. I promise. He’s just jealous, and probably a little hurt that it wasn’t him that got to you first.” Crosshair chuckled, “Trust me, that wasn’t even bad for Hunter.”
“But did you see the way he looked at me.” You sniffled, “I- he’s never looked at me like that before.”
Crosshair just held you tighter, “I’ve been the receiving end of that look for years. You’re alright, just give him some time.”
“But the others?”  All you wanted was your pack, your lovers, your alphas. But they didn’t seem to want you either.
“They just do whatever Hunter does.” Crosshair scratched the back of your neck affectionately, “Wrecker will crack first, and then Tech. Hunter has to punch a few walls first, but he’ll come around eventually. He’s too responsible and frankly, I’m certain all he wants is to have his little omega back.”
Crosshair’s words did start to make you feel better. One thing about Cross is that he’s not a liar. He’s been a straighter shooter his entire life, in more ways than one. He always tells it as it is. That gave you confidence.
He leaned down and kissed your forehead, “I’m just glad we’re out of that place.” He couldn’t seem to get close enough to you. You nuzzled in closer too.
“Thank you Crosshair.” You looked up at him, “Thank you for always taking care of me.”
You both shared a moment of just gazing at one another before you both leaned forwards to bring your lips together.
Then it was like the weight of everything you both had been through came crashing through, and the absolute desire you felt for this man blazed through you like an inferno. He had saved you back on Mimban, twice, and now here he is again saving you from the plans of the empire and admiral Tarkin.
You pushed yourself up and straddled his lap before letting him pick you up and carry you over to the bed pushed up against the far wall.
It was a scramble to tear each others clothes off leaving you both bare, before he laid down onto of you, pressing you into the mattress.
His warm battle hardened body felt marvelous against your softness.
You breathed him in, leaning up to run your tongue against his healed mating gland. The alpha shivered at the sensation making him rut up against you, running his hardening length through your dampening folds.
You mewled lifting your hips to push up against him.
You could feel him smile into your neck as he pressed loving kisses there before kissing your mating mark with a gentleness that was foreign to the sniper.
You squirmed as he pressed more kisses down your neck, then collarbones, your sternum, belly, pelvis, then you thigh. With a strong and firm grip, he plucked your legs up bending them so you were folded in half and spread wide for him. You whined as he continued his light and gentle kisses all over your thighs, traveling between one leg and the other before inching closer and closer to your core making you pant in anticipation.
When his lips finally made contact with your dripping core, you had to cover your mouth with your hand before you let out an embarrassingly loud cry.
He just smirked as he sloppily made out your with cunt making you absolutely thrash around in blinding pleasure under him.
He had to pin your legs down to keep you still as he ravished you. His tongue seemed to know exactly where to go in order to make you twitch as your orgasm approached. He licked and massaged you until you were bending your back into an exaggerated arch as you quickly felt yourself hurtling over that edge into deafening pleasure. You couldn’t even mewl as you came down, you just tried to force yourself to breathe through the orgasm.
“Fuck Cross.” You huffed going limp into the mattress.
He wasted no time lining himself up knowing you were properly prepped to take him now. Feeling how relaxed you were post orgasm, he thrusted forwards feeling himself enter you with a slippery ease. You both moaned out at the fullness as he surged forwards bringing the two of you flush together in absolute harmony. The bond sang between the two of you as you two psychically came together. It was like a relief to the soul. Like slipping into a cool pool on a hot summer day.
He leaned forwards kissing you passionately, allowing his tongue to enter your mouth where you both huffed trying to breathe through the sensations of him pushing inside of you.
You broke away to suck in a deep breath of air before you both looked down to see where you were connected. You both whined at the sight before throwing your head back to enjoy the feeling of Crosshair making passionate love to you.
Wrapping your form around his, you locked your ankles together to force him deeper inside of you. This spurred him on to be a little rougher with you, liking the way you bounced up and down the mattress on his cock. He leaned down to catch a nipple in his mouth as he sucked diligently making you bow your chest into his mouth eagerly.
“Cross…” You grappled at his back leaving scratches with your nails, “I love you.”
He smiled pressing his lips to your forehead, “I love you, Y/n.”
The two of you kept saying it over and over again like a mantra as you both approached the peak.
His thrusts only got more powerful as he neared, sending you scooching up the mattress. You held on for deal life as pleasure crashed through you violently making you clamp down and twitch around his hard length.
He snarled and bit down on your mark again as he shivered, pumping you full of his seed.
As he came down from his high, his teeth held onto the flesh at your gland making you vibrate through the bond. The possessive act only spurred you on. The post coital horniness still lingered as you wiggled your hips trying to feel him inside you more. Deeper. Fuller.
You couldn’t get enough of him.
He tried pinning you down by the hip before releasing your neck from his teeth. As he sat up on his knees with a flush to his cheeks, he looked down at you adoringly as you squirmed around trying to get him deeper inside of you.
“Adi’ka,” He pushed his silver hair out of his eyes and ran a warm hand over your ribs before settling them on your belly like he had on Naboo. You preened under his touch.
“Such a good girl.” He rubbed your warm skin with his thumb.
Looking up through the open monastery window, you saw the dual moons rising in the distance casting a silvery glow over your skin and the mattress.
Crosshair watched you become moon eyed in your post fuck glow. He pulled from you hearing you whimper at the feeling of now being empty. He chuckled, grabbing a tissue near by, and using it to clean himself before tucking himself back into the black joggers along with cleaning you up as best as he could realizing you were just fucking in Rex’s bed. Whoops.
He helped you slip back into your tattered white clothes before curling up behind you under Rex’s blanket to keep you both warm.
Without another word, the two of you fell asleep finally succumbing to the day.
~
When morning broke, you were awakened by Stunner poking his head through the door with a grin that very much reminded you of Fives.
“Hey just making sure you’re both still kickin’.” He grinned.
You heard Crosshair grunt in annoyance and felt him snuggle you closer.
“Gmornin Stun.” Your voice was still groggy from sleep.
“Breakfast in the mess.” Stunner said stepping back outside, “Probably should grab come chow before everyone else.”
You nodded and got up shaking Crosshair’s arm off of you. He curled up on his side ignoring the call to breakfast, but you were still hungry and wanted familiar food. The sniper was content staying in bed for just a moment longer.
You shimmied out of bed giving Cross a kiss before walking out to follow Stunner.
In the daylight you could finally see more about this ancient monastery.
Carvings decorated the walls along with gilded imagery of ancient force wielders. You were positive this monastery was older than most civilizations and maybe even some planets. The pink hazey sky seemed to only add a warmth to this high up colony as you trailed after Stunner who seemed to have learned the way back to the main hall already.
You followed the sound of boisterous laughter and the sounds of reunion as you entered the main mess, the smell of eggs and breakfast meats filled your nose and you audibly sighed smelling the deliciousness in the air.
It was hard to miss your gargantuan mate scarfing down his meal along with Tech who was sitting to his left, back turned to you. He ate in silence scrolling through something on his data pad.
Echo was sitting with Rex who looked like he didn’t sleep after the rescue. He must have been up all night trying to process everyone and everything along with whatever was on that holodrvie you brought. The only one missing was Hunter. Your heart sank hoping he’d be here but when Stunner handed you a loaded tray of food, you were brought back to the moment and you looked down at your purple scrambled eggs and fried bantha links.
Your stomach betrayed you and you heard Stunner chuckle before bringing you to a cluster of 104th. You sat down between Bolts and Grim grabbing your spork to dig in. It wasn’t long before your attention was brought to the back of Wrecker’s head and his broad shoulders. Then you looked at the back of Tech’s head, his hair was all disheveled under his goggle band and he had a bit of a slump to his already not great posture. Poor alpha looked tired.
You stared longingly, praying they’d turn around and just look at you for a moment. Your inner omega was starting to get anxious with the need to have their reassurance and attention.
Before you could get totally lost in your head, Grim gave you a little shove snapping you out of it.
They knew.
Everyone did. You weren’t exactly subtle.
The 104th seemed to have weaseled their way into becoming your pack just like the 501st had all those years ago. It was like they could read your anxieties as well as your mates, and they were very supportive. Wolffe gave you a nod from where he was sat with Rex.
“They’ll come around.” Bolts nodded, “I overheard Wolffe taking with your Sergeant last night, he told him everything.”
“Yeah, but does that even matter?” You touched your bite mark, “What’s done is done.”
“Did the bite make you no longer want your other mates?” Grim asked bluntly.
You shook your head, “No. The bonds are still there.”
Bolts gave you a smile, “Then you’re fine. Maybe being an Ori’sol means that you can have multiple mates and multiple mate bonds to go with them.”
“She’ll be covered in teeth marks when Sarge is done with her.” Grim joked.
You felt your cheeks redden.
“Aye leave her alone.” Bolts reached over you to shove Grim, “She’s going through it.”
“I’m trying to make her smile, or she’s going to loose her mind like those omegas who pull out their hair.” Grim shoved his brother back.
You finished up your last bantha sausage and set the tray down letting them rough house over your head.
You leaned forwards towards Stunner, “Do you know where Hunter is?”
“Sarge took his breakfast outside on the landing platform before I came to get you.” He chewed his eggs.
“Thanks Stun.” You stood up stretching before beginning your walk across the main room. You walked past the circular holo display in the center and was careful to step over the big power cables running over the floor.
You neared Tech and Wrecker feeling your heart start to race as you neared. Keeping your head forward, you walked past them not missing the way they both perked up watching you walk towards the exit. You felt your stomach doing flips at their attention and chose to take one glance back at them. Wrecker looked at you longingly and Tech’s steely demeanor was even chipped at slightly as you saw his eyes soften when they met yours.
Knowing you had to find Hunter first, you sighed and kept moving on. You heard the door swish behind you and you let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. You almost wished they’d come after you, but you knew Crosshair was right, they follow Hunter’s lead no matter what. He’s the one you have to tackle first.
With a huff, you felt your anxieties turn to frustration with a tinge of anger.
You put your hands in your sweater pockets and trudged forwards through the rubble that the clones seemed to have built a landing platform out of.
With a sweep of your eyes, you couldn’t find him anywhere, but you could feel his energy through the bond close by.
With a sigh, you crossed your arms and spoke out into the air in front of you, “I know you’re out here.”
Some other clones on guard looked at you funny before they saw your Sargent emerge from behind a pile of rubble with his empty breakfast tray good distance away.
You locked eyes with him and felt your pulse quicken. Damn he looked good. Dawn’s soft pink light made his tanned skin glow. His hair was pushed back by his signature bandana, but he wasn’t in his armor anymore. He was in his beige cargos and teal henley. He still has the burgundy wrist wraps and brown belt with his holster snugly at his side with his blaster tucked neatly inside.
You had to force yourself to breathe and keep your composure but you were sure he could scent your slight arousal in his presence.
You tapped your foot impatiently narrowing your eyes, “You’re a dick!”
He scoffed and stopped walking towards you, crossing his arms defensively, “Excuse me?” He raised his non-tattooed brow and used his military tone. It sent a shiver down your spine.
You saw a couple of the other clones shift uncomfortably nearby watching an omega challenge her alpha.
“You heard me!” Kark ya he heard you, super hearing an all. You could roll your eyes, “I haven’t seen you in a month, I was kidnapped, and subjected to trauma I have no clue if I’ll ever recover from and all I get the fucking silent treatment?”
He stared at you not moving, almost inhumanly still. Like a predatory animal waiting to pounce.
“Do you have any fucking idea what Crosshair and I had to endure? The empire treated me like a brood mare and Crosshair like some glorified stud horse. And what they fucking did to me? Collared me like a rabid lurka hound!” You snarled, “And all I wanted during those awful nights… was you!” You shifted your feet slightly but kept your arms secure around your chest, “All I wanted was my alpha, my mate… my damn sergeant to come make it all better. I dreamed of you for a month praying you’d find me somehow! That I would be back with my pack!”
He opened his mouth to speak but you shushed him with a finger. If you were still in the GAR he would have had you court marshaled for speaking to him like this. The idea made your heart race, “I’m not finished… The things Crosshair did to save me from Tarkin’s bantha shit… he put his life on the line every single day to make sure he didn’t knock me up and that Tarkin couldn’t have our pups. He delayed Tarkin’s orders to come after you and the others, he risked everything to get our message out to you, including the 104th! He doesn’t deserve to be treated the way you have. He protected me inside that fucking base! And this-“ You pointed to your neck, “This was a fucking accident. We weren’t in control and trust me, there is nothing you could say to Crosshair that is worse than what he felt in that moment.” You were breathing heavily now fighting down the anger, “So no… you don’t get to treat us like this. Crosshair and I didn’t do anything wrong, we did everything we could to survive that imperial installation and I’m sorry this didn’t happen the way you wanted it too, but here we are.” You flapped your arms around exasperated.
He studied the way your chest heaved with anger and the way the other clones stood there awkwardly trying not to be seen. He could hear everyone’s heart beats in the vicinity but yours stood out to him the most, including that delicious smell rolling off of you in waves. You might be royally pissed, but he couldn’t help but feel a little smug you were still responding to him and his presence.
He sighed closing his eyes briefly before nodding.
“You’re right.” He yielded, “I am a dick.”
You had to double to take to make sure you were hearing him correctly. Did he just admit to being wrong?
“I shouldn’t have started a fight with Cross, and I shouldn’t have walked away from you.” He kept his arms crossed looking at you, “I was jealous Adi’ka. Seeing you mated to him, it nearly broke my heart. And you telling me, us, that you choose him…You’re all I’ve thought about since we lost you and I don’t know, I was hoping everything would go back to the way it was before…” he gestured to the mark, “But what’s done is done, I guess.” The hint of brokenness in his voice made your anger wither, “You chose Crosshair and I’m just going to have to be okay with that.”
You scrunched your brow, confused you asked, “Wait, do you think our mate bonds were broken?” You shook your head, “Hunter I’m not just bound to Cross, I’m still bound to all of you too…still.”
“But, you’re claimed.” He shook his head a little in confusion.
“Yes, but it didn’t change how I feel about all of you.” You explained, “I can just feel Crosshair a lot stronger now.”
His brows perked up with hope.
“Clearly the claiming marks don’t work the same with me. If I was a normal omega I wouldn’t even be able to comprehend a different alpha. You know this.”
“So, you think everything is still the same?” He asked stepping towards you.
“I do.” You nodded letting him crowd into your space, “I felt you through our bond on Naboo. We’re still mated…”
You were suddenly enveloped in his presence. His familiar scent filled your nose making you vibrate with excitement. You hadn’t even notice him advancing on you.
He reached out a finger to lift your chin to face him. You looked into his grey hazel eyes as he peered down at you.
“Mesh’la...” He sighed, “We’re not mated… yet.” His tone lit a fire in your core. That was a promise. The way he was looking at you, like he had back on Mimban, had you starting to warm. He raised a brow and smirked watching the way you shuddered at the idea of him claiming you.
“H-Hunter.” You whispered his name.
His finger under your chin quickly turned into a soft caress down your neck, “We found a place, love. It’s a green place, with no one but us. It’s in the outer rim, almost in the unknown regions. We found it when Rex was looking for our brothers. We can start over there, no one will know us, the empire can’t find us. We’ll build our own pack, start our own family.” He looked so happy. Happier than you had seen him in a very long time.
You looked up at him owlishly. Just like you had dreamed…
“Tech is already making plans on building the home stead. We want to take you there cyare.”
You blinked at him, you couldn’t believe this man, your Sergeant, was willing to go to such lengths to protect you. To give you everything you dreamed of as a pup. You never thought you’d make it off of Coruscant. And now, you were in an entirely different universe. One where you barely had anytime to process and he was offering you peace.
You looked up at the soldier. You could almost laugh at the irony. A being created with only one purpose, to kill and serve, was offering you peace.
The thought was beautiful.
Despite his creator’s purpose, it would seem Hunter and the Batch’s defectiveness would always remain victorious.
“Yes. Yes Hunter. Bring me to the green place.”

Time line of a fic that I probably won't actually ever write but I will think about a lot lol
Age 15 Obi aquires a child, not sure yet if it's through underage or he literally just finds him
High School from freshman to about junior year Anakin, the baby, is raised basically by Obi and his friend group; Quin, Bant, Siri, Kit, Padmé and Depa
Senior year the Vode enter the school. Not really sure order but Cody is in the same grade as Obi so he's one of the oldest probably 3rd eldest. Rex is at the moment the second youngest at a 3 years old, a year younger than Ani
Codys familial instincts kick in at the park one day while taking Rex and Wooley out for some sunshine or some shit. And is like hey that guy is cute. Wait he's in my high level calculus class. He goes over an the two of them start talking
Freshman year of college Obes has now aquired a second child, Ahsoka, and a boyfriend, Cody. Obes starts stressing himself out horribly as he's got one in kindergarten, a six month old, and midterms. So Cody comes in sweeps the kids up brings them home to his house where's he's got 11 brothers at home with 5 that would be able to babysit.
The two have a very emotionally tense scene where all is revealed and how Obes is actually not his kids older brother but rather their dad. After which Obes thinks Cody's going to leave him for someone who is/wasn't a teen dad which Cody doesnt and they cuddle.
I want to also some how included a wedding where Rex and Ani become best friends over being little shits and Ahsoka is the flower girl. But also because Codywan deserve to have a really nice wedding.

Reflex
Din slipped into the archives silently, nodding politely to the Jedi that appeared to be debating on kicking him out, and moved to the out-of-the-way spot.  It was easy to spot Luke, golden hair lit up, a spot of brightness in contrast to his dark clothing.  Din could hear him reading out loud, voice soft and gentle, and Din’s heart ached. The amount of times that Din would reach Luke’s Jedi school late at night and found the Master reading to Grogu were numerous.  Luke would smile, saying that Grogu wanted to stay up for Din and had fallen asleep as Luke read whichever Jedi text he had at hand. And then Luke would gently give the child to Din, smiling for a moment before disappearing. For a moment, when Luke turned in his pacing, Din could have sworn that he saw Grogu cradled in Luke’s arm, head resting against his shoulder and big ears twitching in his sleep. And then Din realized that was what he was actually seeing. - No Fate But That Of Which We Make Chapter 12 by SkybreakPrime Part 1 of From Tomorrow that Never Came
So apparently this is just the year of Fanart of fanfiction This and Vod'ade Wooley (oct 4) are both from the same time travel force osik series the first part of which No Fate I have legitimately read like 4 times since it finished in April (it's listed on my Books in a Year list twice even) THIS is hands down like my favorite scene in No Fate.

I just have some thoughts about I Married a Witch (1942) that I need to let out because this gifset got me to thinking about the film before my rewatch of it this month.
At the start of the film, Jennifer curses Jonathan Wooley. Her exact words:
"Jonathan Wooley, thou hast denounced me as a witch. For that thou shalt be accursed. Thou and thy children and thy children's children all will be under the same curse."
His mother asks:
"What was the curse?"
He replied:
"I and all my descendants… will be unhappy in love. The marriages we make will be disastrous until-"
But didn't finish because he said it was "too wicked" to say. Perhaps till the end of time? We see in a montage of his descendants in unhappy marriages, with arguing and running away. We can quite easily assume that these marriages only produced lone sons, seeing as Wallace appeared to be an only child.
We know how the rest of the story goes with Wallace and Jennifer, but I just wanted to point out the ending and compare it to the beginning, to Jennifer's curse and the descendants marriages.
At the end of the film, it is the future and we see Wallace reading a book with he and Jennifer's two sons beside him, on each side. Jennifer herself is knitting. It is quiet and he and Jennifer shoot smiles at each other. Trouble arises when it appears that their third child, a daughter named Jennifer, may take on her mother's witch ways as she pretends to ride a broom. They then look at each other with worry while Daniel sings with glee in his trapped bottle.
Notice the difference between the marriages of the past to Wallace and Jennifer's of the future? There's no arguing or running away. They have two sons and a daughter. They may have worry about young Jennifer trying to take on the role of a witch, but nothing suggests trouble for their marriage in the future. I think its safe to assume that with Wallace and Jennifer married, with multiple children, that her curse on the Wooley's was broken. She wouldn't have her sons bear it, seeing as happy as she was with Wallace. While the love potion did affect her, I think its also safe to say that she really grew to love him on his own, and her own humanity as well.
It is hard to say if Jonathan Wooley would've found it a curse or a blessing.
But after all, love is stronger than witchcraft…

My goal is to look into articles, charities, government statistics and blogs to see how nature affects everyone and everything.

'Environmental psychological theory suggests that contact with nature is important because it promotes a child’s creativity and imagination, intellectual and cognitive development and boosts social relationships (Heerwagen and Orians 2002, Kellert 2002, 2005).'
'Children’s general access to nature appears to be diminishing (Kahn 2002, Kellert 2002). Not only has the quantity of natural environments for children to utilize been reduced, but some parents seem to be limiting their children’s access to natural environments for fear of accident or violence (Spencer and Wooley 2000, Louv 2008).'

Headcanons, also AU:
501st/Torrent:
Tup is always the baby of Torrent, Dogma is Echo’s baby (in that he is exactly like him before Echo realized things), Echo is the oldest out of him and Fives, Jesse is the second oldest but acts like he’s younger, Hardcase is the middle child, Kix is also the middle child but he’s the only one other than Rex they listen to (if Kix gives orders even Rex listens), and Rex is Buir/ori'vod depending on who’s with him. (Tup, Fives, and Echo for sure he’s Buir.) I also, thanks to fanon, headcanon Kix and Jesse as both married and siblings. Same with Echo and Fives being twins/in a relationship. Dogma and Tup are usually brothers to me.
Appo is really in charge with Vaughn being SIC. The two of them decided that they rather not deal with the craziness. So Rex, who's as crazy as the rest, he just doesn't act like it most of the time, was nominated to be 'in charge' by them. Jesse can actually be really mature, he just likes being a nuisance, which is why he's the SIC. Appo still fills out all the paperwork. It's an open secret but no one does anything because it works.
Anakin is close to Padme and yes they married but they aren't really together. It was a ruse in a way. They're going to divorce/annull it after the war. He also is calmer and never killed the Tusken children or their mothers. Just the men.
Ahsoka knows she can get away with anything....until Cody or Obi-Wan get involved. She stays with Anakin and calls him master but everyone in the two battalions know that she's Obi-Wan's Padawan. Since Obi-Wan is in charge of the 7th Sky Corps he's in alot more serious battles than Anakin, it's safer for her to stay with the 501st.
I got nothing on the others.
212th/Ghost:
Wooley is the baby hands down, Longshot is actually older than everyone except Cody and more put together, Boil and Waxer are in love/siblings. Crys is technically the medic of Torrent but when Kix came along he asked for a transfer. He thought it be quieter in the 212th, Crys forgot, until it was to late, that most of the 501st was part of the 212th to start with. Not to mention Obi-Wan is actually worse than Anakin. He just looks like he is better when they are together.
Cody won't admit it but he said the adoption vow to Anakin as soon as he could, like two minutes after meeting him. This was after meeting Obi-Wan face to face and before falling for the red head. Anakin knows he's adopted by Cody, he just doesn't want to admit it. Ahsoka though was adopted as soon as Cody could do it after Christophis. It was while on a com with Windu and Plo and no Wolffe, she's my daughter, not yours.
Obi-Wan never hid the fact he had to fake his death from Ghost, he tried to hide it from his kids but Cody told Anakin and Ahsoka after the 'funeral'. (Anakin was more mad at the fact that Obi-Wan wouldn't tell them but the Vode than he was that Obi-Wan was 'killed'.) Obi-Wan does sleep and eat. It just doesn't seem like it. He and Cody alternate on who answers comms and etc, it's just always Obi-Wan that people see.
The Wolfpack:
Wolffe got his name not because of his biting or howling, that's something they all do, the Wolfpack is the only one to admit it, but because of his eyes and grin.
Comet might have come late into the pack but he's never left alone or wondering if he belongs. He's their baby, Wolffe adopted him right away. Contillary to belief Plo doesn't adopt all his battalion. That's Wolffe. Plo adopts but he also shares with others (Ahsoka, Anakin, Bant being examples).
Corrie Guard/Quinlan:
Boba was 'technically' never in jail. Palpatine and the Senate were told he was. He was visiting his family/hiding when Obi-Wan went in. The escapes? Was part of Fox's plan to help Obi-Wan. Quinlan will say it was his plan but it was Fox's.
Boba stays on Corescant because that is where Jango is stationed. He just hides because of Sidious and Dooku trying to get him to use him against his siblings.
Fox is in charge of the Vode when on Corescant. The Alphas are over all, even Cody, with Jango, pretending to be one of his ad, actually in charge.
Quinlan just showed up at the Guard station one day and never really left. If he did another Shadow took over his duties, the Guard didn't have a Jedi at first but when Vos showed up they got one.
Jedi/other Vode:
Yoda talks about commitment and love but he adores everyone of the Jedi. His favorite is not Obi-Wan surprisingly. He is a favorite but not his favorite. That privilege goes to Cal, Grogu, and Feemor.
Feemor might seem as if he doesn't know Obi-Wan, Anakin, or Ahsoka but he does. They all live together with Torrent and Ghost always rotating in and out.
Mace had adopted Depa and Caleb is his baby grandson, no I'm not giving him back. He's also adopted Obi-Wan which means he's technically Anakin's grandfather.
Depa knows Mace is in love with Ponds but won't do anything. So she and Grey conspire. They are now married with Caleb and Stance as two of their oldest (Mace loves the fact that he has more grandchildren). Ponds is the first who makes a move, he was captured but not killed since it was to get Sing, after Grey and Depa get married. Neyo is not interested in relationships so he and Adi Gallia just laugh at all the chaos.
Cal, Caleb, and other Padawans are not allowed on battlefields if under a certain age, 16. The Council uses technology that Tech made with other vod to make it seem as if they are there when they aren't. It's usually a shiny pretending to be the Padawans. The Vode consider it to be a honor to be chosen. (Jabiim was where the technology was first used. The Padawan Pack is 'dead' but actually with Mandalorians that Jango trusts.) While the Council and the rest of the Jedi know it's used, no one ever is told for certain to protect themselves and others. Even Ahsoka uses the technology except when she can't.
Omega is not on Kamino. She's with Arla who is the one that disperses the Padawans, cadets, littles, and younglings among the Mandalorians.
Satine is the figure head but she, doesn't like it, goes along with Jango's orders. Death Watch is still around but Pre isn't in charge/part of it. He and Jango did fight for the Darksaber and when Jango won, Pre went to, with Jango's permission, the Children Of The Watch. It's keeping his family safe.
Children Of The Watch are the spies of Mandalore. They are in a lot of the galaxy so they send information back all the time. They are also where brings who want to disappear but still be Mandalorian go. Basically the Mandalorians version of witness protection.

A/N idk really what this is. It jus come to me one day, and I finally wrote it. I might of gotten a little carried away but who cares am I right. Anyway enjoy this angsty imagine with Obi-wan
This is not proofread, might do that later on.

Tumblr media
Happy endings. It was what you were thought as a child. That it would always be happy endings, no matter what. The evil in the world would be defeated. Happy endings for all the heroes out there.
Your eyes were filled with fear. What had just happened. Did Cody really just take a shot towards you. You were able to dodge it. Of course you were it was only one shot.
It had clearly been a lie. Obi-Wan knew that much. Even when he himself was a child. He had never really believed in happy endings. Except for once. He had hoped that you would get it. Get that happy ending that every hero deserved. Because you are a hero. Or well rather you were a hero.
Soon enough all of the clones ganged up on you. Each shot at you. Your longtime friends shot at you. Panic filled your whole body. This weren’t droids. This was living beings. Your friends. Why did the want to kill you.
A hero, that was exactly who you were. Everyone knew that. Then how came you died. Died by the hands of your best friends. Cody. Waxer. Boil. Wooley. Crys. Trapper. Charger. Peel. Longshott. Gearshift. Barlex. The had all been your friends, but it all turned with one order. Order 66.
Your lightsaber went in every direction trying to block the shots. Obi-Wan nowhere to be seen. Was he dead, had they already killed him.
Sure some of them had already died. You hadn’t been betrayed by all of them. But you still got betrayed by the same people that comforted you after Waxer died on Umbara. The ones that comforted you when Obi-Wan himself had nearly died. They had always been there for you until that dreadful day.
A shot hit your leg. Then your arm. Then your knee. Your shoulder. You were getting sloppy. The energy in your body leaving you. All that was left was the adrenaline. That soon stopped to.
He hated every bit of that day. The only thing he could remember clearly was your face as it got lifeless. How you had told him to be safe. You had always thought of others before yourself, even on your deathbed. He had promised you to be safe.
You slumped down. Your lightsaber still in action as much as you could use it. With one last shot you fell to the ground. It had barely missed your heart.
Now as he was sat down trying to meditate it didn’t work that well. His thoughts were invaded by you. The utter look of betrayal and confusion on your face. The scared eyes. All the shots that fired at you. How come they went for you first and not him. Had he been quick enough you would still be alive today. If he had just seen the shots before they happened. No he could not think of that he promised you that he would keep himself safe, that he would not blame himself.
Obi-Wan soon enough found you. The clones were gone searching for him. He ran towards you. Fearing the worst. His fears become the truth as he saw you. You spluttered out blood from your mouth. While blood seeped out through the rest of your body were you had been hit.
Obi-Wan had watched you die. His padawan. His own child, or rather teenager. You had just become seventeen, and you were his child. Maybe not by blood but he had broke the Jedi code for you. He was your father and you were his child.
He kneeled down beside you. Trying but failing to stop you from bleeding. The blood soaked threw the ripped of fabric from his robes. He finally realized it. You were dying. By the hands of your friends.
They say that the worst thing that can happen to a parent is to see their child die before themselves. It was true. Obi-Wan would never in his life forget that day. He couldn’t. No he would remember you that much he promised himself. He would not let go of you.
He went over to your head. You looked up at him with glossy eyes. As you gave in to the pain. Obi-wan looked at you with the same teary eyes, only he had tears running down his face.
“Obi” you said the best as you could. “Promise me….. promis… t-to… be… safe… no-t… y-you-r f-faul-t… pr-promis-e” You were in some way able to stutter the words. Even with your coughing, and spluttering of blood. The man stared you down. Tears streaming down his face. More than before. They fell down on your face mixing with your own tears.
“I promise” It was the last words you heard befor everything went black. Obi-Wan reluctantly let go of you. He got to his ship. But not before he had buried you. He could only hope that you would be one with the force and be in peace from now on.
Finally his thought got filled with the good times that you all had together. Before order 66. Before your death that he remembered so clearly. The death that haunted his dreams.
Obi-wan though of all the times he had comforted you. All the times he made you laugh. The times replied towards him with the same amount of sarcasm he had. You pranking the Ghost company with Waxer as the two of you painted their armor bright pink. Or the time were you told him that you viewed him as you father. The times he protected you. That one time you saved his life. When you were little and had a nightmare so he let you sleep beside him, giving you the comfort you needed. The time you accidentally called him father. The time he accidentally called you his daughter.
Obi-wan couldn’t help but smile. You had always been so carefree. Acting like nothing in the word would ever stop you and him. It would always be the two of you forever.
Sadly that wasn’t true. You died too soon. Too soon for his liking. You should of been able to live your life until you died of age. You deserved better. But there was nothing he could do about it. He knew that. The only thing he could to was to remember you. Remember the good times. The bad ones too. It didn’t matter as long as he could see your face once more.
He longed to see that face of yours . The bright smile that shines his way. The sparkle in your eyes as you were about to disobey his orders. To hear your voice as you came up with new nicknames for him.
Alas he knew that would never happen. He wouldn’t get you back. Nothing could help him to get you back. He accepted that, but that did not mean he was able to let go of you. He promised himself not to, and he intended to keep that promise. So he relished the happy memories, and pushed away the bad ones.
Eventually he stopped meditating, the thought of you had brought tears to his eyes that silently fell down his face. Of all the promises he made you there was two he didn’t keep. One being to protect you at all cost to not let you die. The second was to not feel guilt over your death.
His eyes became more blurry and the pain of your absence became to much. He let go of all the tears. The pain. The memory of your death. He let himself feel. He broke the Jedi code once again. He had made attachment with you, he was not at peace. No he felt angry at the galaxy. The galaxy that had taken too much from him. Not only his brother, but his lover as well, his master and most of all you.
Obi-wan made a new promise that day. To always remember the good times with you. To not ever forget you. That was the most important promise he intended to keep.

For your prompt, 9. 'Show me where it hurts' please, thank you 👉🏼👈🏼😁
From this post here, I bring you delightful angst.
Since you didn't specify characters, you are at my not-so-tender mercies for this. Prepare for your murderization.
~~
All the critical care cases had been evacuated out.
Helix didn't bother trying to wipe his forehead, plastoid did little to absorb sweat. The existence of the sweat did little to make him less grumpy, less downright pissy at the CIS, the GAR, the Jedi, the Senate, and every kriffing shabuire on this ka'ra be-damned dirt ball he was on.
Gold paint was barely visible through the red dirt of the planet, made into a pasty mud by the amount of blood that had been spilt.
He didn't even know the name of the planet they were on, just that the Seppies had bombed a civilian refugee encampment.
It had been ugly.
Too ugly.
The 212th had only been called in for humanitarian relief two days after.
After.
It was more recovery than search at that point.
He pulled a sani-wipe out of his pack and did his best to scrub some of the flecks of blood off his armor.
It did little more than smear it.
He pushed himself off the gurney he'd been leaning on, frowning at his hands.
Somehow, somehow they were still steady.
The voice inside his head wasn't though.
It was screaming.
Speaking of...
There was yelling outside the tent, and someone pulled the flap open, letting in a column of light, a cloud of dirt, and bodies.
Multiple.
Crys and Wooley shoved their way forward, a bundle held between them. Trapper followed, a natborn human hanging off his arm. She held her arm across her waist, and his mind automatically began pulling up treatment regiments for broken ribs and protocols for potential internal damage.
Then her wails processed.
"My baby!" Her words trailed off into heaving sobs, rasping coughs.
Crys had set the the tiny body, because that's what it was, across the gurney, had pulled back the tattered and bloody poncho that had wrapped around its form.
Eyes the color of the Kaminoan seas looked back at him.
He'd hated that color as a cadet, the entire planet and everything it symbolized.
In the little girl's face, framed by lopsided pigtails, they are stunning against her pale skin.
He left Wooley and Trapper to deal with the mother as the child, maybe seven years old, curled up on herself. He frowned, making another mental note to himself, this one to work on guesstimating natborn ages, and glanced to Crys.
[Lacerations. Other injuries unknown] he signed subtly, stepping back to shove his hands under the nearest sink.
Ok. He could deal with that. The kid should be old enough to talk, too.
"Hey there, kiddo," memories of how he'd talked to the tubies and cadets on Kamino surged, some of his happiest. "Can you show me where it hurts?"

Okay, Okay I'm not the best at explaining my ideas but here me out. So in the clone wars movie we're originally led to believe this padawan showing up is going to Obi-wan's. Obviously though when Ahsoka arrives she ends up with Anakin. I know I've read some bonding fics where its kinda hinted or outright stated that Cody, Ghost Company and the 212th were expecting Ahsoka to be theirs and I'm taking this idea and running with it. (I for some reason have hyper fixated on Ahsoka and Cody's dynamic like their friendship has so much potential)
Also just a heads up I'm going on for a while.
- So like imagine this after Ahsoka's been with the 501st for a few months, Anakin is charged with a mission lets say by the chancellor cause don't tell me Palpatine wouldn't try and nip any growing bond between Anakin and Ahsoka any chance he got.
- Anakin doesn't like the idea of taking his new padawan into whatever crazy high stakes mission he's been issued with (lowkey tho Palpatine probably pulled oh but I do worry for your young Padawan learner this is a much more dangerous mission and I would hate for anything to happen to her, like really Anakin how can the council approve of this) and decides Ahsoka can learn a bit from her grandmaster. So he drops her off with Obi-wan
- Ahsoka while excited to spend more time with Obi-wan is understandably a bit nervous on being around the battalion led by the brother Rex looks up to the most cause what if he and the other clones don't like her. She really took Rex's words about experience to heart and she doesn't want them to think she's in over her head and won't listen to them. At this point while the 501st have fully accepted Ahsoka (Torrent company especially) and would tear apart the galaxy for her, she herself is still feeling very insecure about it especially after the whole ryloth blockade fiasco.
-Of course this experience is gonna make her realize that she is very much loved but not just by the brothers she spends most her time with. Cause as soon as she gets to the Negotiator (I think that ship still around in the timeline at this point) She finds not only Master Kenobi waiting for her but most of ghost company waiting to greet her. Waxer and Boil are immediately offering her ration bars with dried meat in it and that's not something she's had in a while since they haven't been able to restock and as much as the 501st love her they had not be prepared to feed a largely carnivorous child. Wooley meanwhile is asking her what kind of paints she likes and does she want to help him paint his armor. Ahsoka of course is touched by this and enthusiastically says yes.
- Before she can run of with Wooley though Cody and Obi-wan admit that Helix is expecting her in the medbay as he wants to do a check-up. Ahsoka of course isn't too thrilled with the idea but Cody manages to bribe her by whispering that if she does this he'll teach her how to kick droids the way he does in battle. This works like a charm and Cody files that information away for himself and to share with Rex, bribery with useful skills is the best way to earn Ahsoka's cooperation.
- So to the Medbay Ahsoka goes followed of course by Ghost company, Obi-wan who knows what the men are up too decides it best to get his council duties over and done with so he can witness this. He's already been hounded by the men before Ahsoka even got on board if they can keep her since she was supposed to be theirs anyway. He's looking forward to the look on Ahsoka's face when she inevitably hears this.
- Meanwhile Ahsoka is being looked over by Helix who bombards her with questions about what the 501st medics have done and when Ahsoka mentions they haven't had the chance to do anything like this yet cause they're still doing research on togruta biology so they don't accidentally hurt her she notices the incredulous looks from alot of the clones presents and quickly babbles about how its not their fault they just weren't prepared for her and learning takes time especially since they go from one battlefield to the next frequently. Helix looks annoyed at this but a sharp look from Cody stops him from saying anything. Though the medbay is admittedly crowded so Helix and the other medics have to strongarm a lot of brothers out of the medbay. The clones exiled from the medbay staunchly wait outside.
- They don't even try to move Cody cause they know as much as he won't admit he was probably one of the clones most excited about having a Padawan and he's rarely going to let Ahsoka out of his sight for the entire duration of her stay with them.
- Ahsoka curious as ever asks Helix and Cody why the 212th seem so interested in her. She quickly assures them that its not a bad this she's just a little confused since she's just their generals grandpadawan. Helix and Cody share a chuckle and Cody nudges her shoulder teasingly
"Well we were under the impression you were supposed to be stationed with us, the boys were quite upset when they learned we'd lost you to the 501st, we helped prepare your quarters and everything"
-Ahsoka is of course touched by this and since she's still a child whose been thrust into a war gets a little choked up. This sends Helix and Cody into panic mode. "Hey kid I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you." she quickly reassures them explaining its just nice to see they were excited to have her join them even if she didn't in the end. There's a look in her eyes that makes Cody thinks he's gonna have to talk to Rex about her first few weeks with Torrent. He guessed it wasn't gonna be easy for the 501st or skywalker to adjust to the kid but something tells him it took them awhile to get their heads out their shebs but he shelves it away for another time.
- Right now he's more focused on showing the kid just how awesome her would've been battalion is. So as soon as Helix is satisfied he takes Ahsoka to the training rooms and fires up the training sims to teach her how to roundhouse kick droids like a badass. He also takes the chance to assess her hand-to-hand and is pleased to see Rex has obviously been drilling that into her. Sure her lightsaber is her life but with the amount of times his General has dropped his, he's not taking any chances with the tiny commander so he lets the boys teach her some of their own moves with a mischievous wink cause she can use those moves to knock Rex and Torrent on their shebs, cause as much as Cody loves his little brother is so much fun to to tease him.
- This is how Obi-wan finds them Ahsoka amongst ghost company and some other stragglers in the 212th laughing merrily as she spars with them and makes bets. A twinge of regret sparks in him that he had not taken the girl on himself but he quickly releases it into the force because she was doing wonders for Anakin and he needed this lesson in attachment badly. He can at least settle for being her grandmaster and while he knows how disappointed the men were at least they'll still be able to interact with Ahsoka somewhat frequently because of this. He chuckles when Ahsoka notices him and waves excitedly yelling at him to come in and join the fun and honestly how could he say no. Merry moments in the war were few and far between and his heart ached for the young togruta who had been thrust into a conflict like so many other younglings at the temple too soon.
- So Obi-wan decides to spar with her using training sabers and he's impressed at Ahsoka's skill level for someone so young. He decides to teach her for the forms of soresu because he knows Anakin favours Djem so and he wants her to be able to defend as well as attack. She is clearly very excited and the men form a circle to watch. When they're finished the men or cheer for the two of them and a few go over and clap Ahsoka on the shoulder. "Good Job Vod'ika" he hears and he smiles to himself seeing Ahsoka grin so hard her fangs are revealed, clearly she knows the meaning of the word and is ecstatic that the 212th have bestowed the honour of the term on her.
- The rest of the trip goes similarly they fight a few small space battles and offer relief to planets recently free of separatist control and Ghost company even help Ahsoka pull off a few pranks, all harmless such as jump scaring a group of troopers or himself (he can sense her but he pretends to be slightly shocked when she pops out of a vent the first time) Even Cody doesn't tell on her and Obi-wan smirks to himself cause he knows Ahsoka has now got two battalions wrapped around her fingers (three if the rumours about the 104th's attachment to Plo Koon are true)
-Finally the day comes for Ahsoka to return to Anakin and the 501st and to Obi-wan. Anakin as well as Rex, Jesse, Fives and Echo who all accompany him turn up in the landing bay to find an amused Obi-wan and smirking Cody and no Ahsoka to be found. The clones don't take this well and Rex immediately pulls Cody aside and inquires as to where their commander is. Anakin just stands there clueless, and utterly confused as to why his padawan isn't here to come back with him.
- As the clone captain and commander engage in some light banter in which Cody is purposely evasive as to where Ahsoka is, Obi-wan offhandedly comments on how attached the 212th have become to their padawan to Anakin who chuckles and says he's not surprised. Echo, Fives and Jesse however have missed one of their favourite Vod'ika and take it upon themselves to find her. They go the rec rooms first near the barracks knowing their kid commander likes to socialize with the men. When they don't find her they enter the barracks only to be shushed by about half a dozen clones who are all huddled around a sleeping pile containing Waxer, Boil, Wooley, Longshot and Trapper and of course their tiny commander. Who blinks blearily when she hears the hushed murmurs of her brothers.
- The 212th are very reluctant to let her go but they eventually hand over the exhausted togruta to Jesse, Echo and Fives (yes they do argue over who gets to carry theyre sleeping commander, Echo wins) The three make their way back to the landing bay and Anakin, Rex and Cody (who had paused in their banter) all melt at the sight of the sleeping padawan and Cody and Obi-wan go over to say their goodbyes. Obi-wan merely pats her shoulder and smiles kindly sending calmness and care through the training bond he and Ahsoka had created with her brief stay with them.
- Cody flicks her forehead gently and salutes her and Ahsoka tiredly salutes back grinning slightly. Anakin and co leave not long after.
- Ahsoka gives the entirety of the 501st a heart attack when a few days later, Ahsoka's lightsaber is forced out of her hand by a stray blaster bolt in battle and she does not hesitate to kick the droids head off. Rex can only think oh god there's two of them now. And Ahsoka is lectured by both Kix and Rex for hours afterwards about how dangerous it was to do that. Ahsoka merely shrugs and tells them not to worry cause Cody taught her proper form and she uses the force to help her. Kix relays this to Helix so Cody is also dressed down but he's unperturbed. Ahsoka got it on holovid and sent it to him and he couldn't be prouder.
- Of course next time they're on Coruscant on leave both Anakin and Obi-wan get comms from Commander Fox saying they need to come pick up their men yes even their CO's.
-Turns out Torrent and Ghost companies had gotten themselves in a brawl while drunk at 79's and the guard had to step in and deescalate the situation. (I.e lock them all up in the drunk tank where unsurprisingly more arguments were taking place) What shocks Anakin is that Plo Koon is also there and its then Anakin learns that the Wolfpack had gotten involved as well. Fox honestly looks so done with his brothers and merely jerks an arm to where the three companies are being held when the Jedi arrive.
- They take one look inside and it doesn't take a genius to figure out what caused this fight. 501st blue, 212th orange and 104th grey huddles in groups shoving each other and yelling loudly about how she was their vod'ika. While Helix and Snap were chewing out Kix and Coric over Ahsoka's health. The two torrent medics were not taking it very well.
-Much to the surprise of the three jedi their commanders and captain are probably the most vicious in this debate. Each of them are sporting a few darkening bruises on their faces.
-Plo Koon chuckles and loudly remarks on how lucky lil'soka is to be have the three strongest battalions in the GAR looking out for her. This has the desired effect because even while absolutely hammered the clones all straighten with pride at the praise from one of their Generals.
- They corral their men up and herd them back to their separate barracks one company at a time to avoid more fights breaking out.
-Each Jedi profusely apologies to Fox, Thorn, Stone and Thire for the trouble their men has caused. Fox just sighs and rolls his eyes saying it wouldn't be the worst things his di'kut brothers have done. While Stone comments that it would be an honour to meet this little commander the three battalions speak so highly of. Anakin smirks and says next time they're own extended leave on Coruscant Ahsoka can learn how the guard works.
-Needless to say the next time this happens the guard hold it over the others head that Ahsoka always drops by with stories and new treats for them to try anytime she's on Coruscant before she even vists them. (That of course is a lie but what the other three don't know won't hurt them)
Okay so I really prattled on. Anyone who made it this far you're a real one. This was mainly very self-indulgent and very much niche for me but I figured I may as well release it to the void. But I hope you enjoyed this silly little bit regardless
