song: Wolves of the Revolution by The Arcadian Wild
it took a couple days but i got it done quite literally before the ban happened and i’m so glad that i did lol. some of the words/overlays might be off timing wise since that’s how it downloaded, but other than that enjoy!!

Day 8: Wolves of the Revolution - The Arcadian Wild
Tumblr media
Listen Here
Pulled and panicked, the door is locked And you're trapped inside of your own heart It's a spectator sport Just play your part Just play your part
Song Fact Book
Released 0ctober 18, 2016
My Thoughts
Another one of those haunting songs that you can just feel the story in your bones and then have to listen to over and over again until you finally get understand what the lyrics are actually saying
This one lives next to Running with the Wolves by AURORA in my mind
Have I mentioned that I really appreciate instrumentation in songs before? Yeah? Well, you're gonna hear it again because the instrumentation is beautiful in this guy. The strings, the movement, just ugh/pos it's so freaking good.

i know you live up in Canada or something but have you ever thought of attending the whole Sonic Revolution thing? you know, mingle, make connections, perhaps make a case or two
Oh yeah, that happened just this month aye? It did look fun and I actually moved back to Seattle from Canada!
It’s tempting but it’d be a big trip for me to make. Would be cool to have a chance to meet Tyson Hesse, even for just a brief moment. As well as just geeking it up with other fans.~
Since it’s already past for this year, I’ll consider next year when it comes back around. Just depends on if it’s feasible at the time. 🤔
Also, I’m not sure if by making a case or two, you mean talking to people about my not so positive opinions on the movies especially, which, oof. Hard enough doing that online lol especially for what’s meant to be a fun event 😅

Promiseland by MIKA
also Wander. Wonder. by The Arcadian Wild - ✌
OH PROMISELAND SLAPS.
i mean i should have known it's mika. as if my dumbass did not listen to Life in Cartoon Motion on my own crusty portable CD player until the disk fossilised
but fr of COURSE this is Beatrice
"sold my soul, broke my bones, tell me, what did i get?"
"strike me down to the ground, you know i've seen it before"
ANON. YOU SEND ME THE ARCADIAN WILD?? i love u
wander. wonder. is a Lilith song. don't we know it's star wars au Lilith. she should be wrestled away from me but alas.
"perfect, you're my poison/ i sip on you to wash down the shame/ and though i am hungover in the morning/ facedown in the carpet i feel safe"
but also wolves of the revolution by arcadian wild is on about 8 of my playlists.
"born young and wild/ don't let them cut your tail/ just a pinch of salt in the wound, you'll be fine"

This is a very funny dunk, but please note that a pregnant South Asian woman is on trial for calling someone of her own race a "coconut" (it's what brown people call a brown person that's "white on the inside". Sunak and his cabal of elite brown demons are literally propping up white supremacy, this is the softest insult you could make about them).
You know what you call a clown with a fragile ego in a position of power? A fascist. Never forget that Britain is in the grip of white supremacists with brown faces. It's not just the Tories, it's Labour as well. That's where the rise of transphobia is coming from. The projected "great Labour revolution" at the UK election won't do shit to save you when the entire political establishment is compromised to appease the right wing populists. Starting with Starmer. You don't need heroes, you need to identify your enemies and build a coalition against the system.

this is about david tennant telling a transphobic politician to “shut up” btw:
