Seawing designs

I decided to show you my 2 years old arts, where I were experimenting with designs of WoF dragons, making either unic or cliche details (named like "Classic"). Here are the first ones - Seawings.

Also some of them have unic abilities.

Blue-violet canon seawing, you know everything about him.

Blue snake or eel-like. In general, he is similar in appearance to an ordinary seawing; in addition, his head is very streamlined and has no horns, and his body is much longer and more sinuous. Short legs and large combs. Has no wings.

Coral-like red-pink. The horns and ridges are very reminiscent of corals and have reddish tints. Also quite similar to the canon appearance.

Crocodile-like swamp green. Almost identical to canon. Notable features are a double comb, short legs and an elongated muzzle with protruding teeth. There is an additional ability - increased sensitivity to vibrations and fluctuations, like crocodiles.

Cool green comb. He has no horns, has membranes on his head and in some parts of the body (belly, elbows), and the dorsal ridge towards the middle is very long. Has no wings.

Turquoise classic. It has the features of the “classical” idea of ​​​​sea/water dragons - there are no scales or plates, instead there is elastic skin, horns are combined with a membranous collar. The gills are soft. He has wing-fins growing from the forelimbs. Additional ability - spits with strong pressure of water (replacing fire).

Shark-like gray-blue. The structure of the head and jaws resembles those of a shark. The abdomen has thick skin instead of plates. The thick dorsal crest and tail are similar in structure to a shark. Instead of wings, there are fins combined with the front paws. An additional ability is the sensation of vibrations in water over long distances.

The stingray or catfish-like blue with a white belly. Very different from the canonical look. Flat body and head, long antennae and double crest. Light scales are located on top, because dragons usually lie close to the bottom. Instead of wings there are long fins. He has no hind legs and has a flat tail. An additional ability is sensitive antennae that help to navigate in water, as well as a poisonous sting in the tail, the poison paralyzes.

Finally finished a new charm design! Sorry for being so slow on making new characters, I promise I still want to do all of them, moving has just really taken it out of me 😅💖

Anyways! Here's my take on turtle, I love turtle so much! So I really wanted his design to be special. I thought a "fluffier" kind of frill suited his personality more than your standard seawing frill, and I wanted to add cute sea turtle inspired subtle spots, but other than that I tried to keep him fairly accurate to his book description ✨️🐢

His charm should be available in a few weeks along with some others that have been out of stock for a while. Who are you hoping to see me do next?

Tsunami headcanons

Did you know that in The Dragonet Prophecy, Clay mentioned she has green eyes? That’s certainly going into my “she looks just like Gill and Orca” headcanon.

She has yellow highlights, a hint towards the identity of her father, Gill (he had yellow, green and brown scales, according to me).

She is not straight. I don’t know who she is yet, but she is MOST CERTAINLY not straight.

As a dragonet, she would try to enchant objects over and over again, because she was so desperate to have special powers.

Her eyes are more accustomed to the dark than those of most SeaWings, even with their night vision, because she was raised underground.
