aah, wow! i've never met another wizardess heart fan who also has been there since the very beginning for obey me and you're very right for the most part. there's so much more angst in each route for the characters there, and they each have such vibrant personalities/convictions?

you could argue, though, that it's because each route is limited and the writers don't have to drag it out, nor do they have to switch writers mid-story. while i think that some aspects of old solmare games have more charm than obey me, i also know that some the writing also isn't up to par with what obey me has offered in the past (save for the newer routes before they discontinued). this is just my experience since i remembered those games having god-tier writing, but upon playing them again, i believe it was just the nostalgia for the feelings i felt while playing it years prior.

plot-wise? absolutely. i've played through both normal and hard mode for obey me up to season 4 and the most that they offer are bouts of inspiration for me to write better than they do. plotlines are forgotten, character development for many characters have been erased, the tone isn't serious because [plot] has repeated numerous times, and the mc (albeit a "blank slate" for self-inserts) is made out to be overpowered with no real repercussions for their shitty choice of wording or actions. i don't believe many people are able to imagine themself as the mc when the mc acts so impulsive and apathetic towards everyone.

although i will say that i enjoy picking apart the subtle hints towards solmare's other games, mostly wizardess heart because it's the closest to the elements of obey me? the backgrounds and bgms, the personalities of characters and reused storylines. i believe there's also a place called 'the land of solomon' which got a kick out of me once i remembered its existence.

liz was an amazing mc, though :( a bit too helpless in the early routes, but she was charming once the last routes finally continued an interesting plot as they interconnected.

I will NEVER forgive NTT Solmate for discontinuing Wizardess Heart and Destiny Ninja 2 for Obey Me!

[MY OPINION] both Wizardess heart and Destiny Ninja have a better plot compared to Obey me... I have played Obey Me since day one and when I realized the plot doesn't move forward it just got so boring so I deleted it... I miss Liz and the gang so much...

Obey Me just doesn't have a plot??? Passed lesson 16 it just goes round and round and never moves forward... Also their "problems" are never serious... I want serious plot and the angst

And SOME of the fans act like the plot is 100/10 NO I assured you that their old game has a better writing and plot.

Wizardess Heart Spring of Unicorns HCS

Once upon a time (maybe a year ago now. 😂) I wrote some headcanons for the Tower of Sorrow boys from Wizardess Heart in an attempt to add some actual tickles to the fandom. Well, ya girl is back with her favorite three characters! uwu Please enjoy!

Klaus:

hAhA this took wayyyyy to long for me to get around answering. Gods im so sorry. But here they are!

Light:

• He's a bit startled at first when he sees blood in the trash can, so he immediately goes to make sure you're not hurt

• When you explain that you're just on your period he calms down

• He'll do his best to meet your needs and help make the pain tolerable, even if that means giving you space.

Zeus:

• Immediately panics and looks all over for you once he sees blood in the trash can

• You have to calm him down first before you explain that you're on your period

• He doesn't get that you're more sensitive to many things in general during this time so its tough

• So you may have more arguments than usual, but he always apologizes with a gift of your favorite snack since he remembers only after the argument that ur on your period

• Oh and he's always happy to give you any type of physical intimacy you want. He's always like that :3

Hugo:

• He's aware that periods exist but even so he just wants to make sure ur okay after spotting blood in the trash

• He's awkward but he does try to meet your needs

• He understands that your emotions are more sensitive so he doesn't get to upset when you chase him off

• If anything he'll use that time to buy/make something that you like

Vain:

• Once he sees the blood in the trash can he knows that you're on your period

• He's always out but if you ask him, he'll bring some treats on his way home for you

• If you're a person who likes physical intimacy during your period it could end up in small arguments because he's not really there to satisfy those needs of yours

• He'll try to be home a bit more often to satisfy your physical needs

Viggo:

• When he sees blood in the trash, he'll ask you about it the next time he sees you

• When you explain it to him, he does not understand it

• Expect to be treated just like normal

• If you get into arguments that end up with you crying, he'll feel guilty and buy you something as apology

• One time he read that for some people sexual intimacy can help with pains so he'll be teasing you about that quite a bit. Even more if it turns out true for you

• He acts irritated when you ask for physical intimacy but secretly he likes it too

Alfonse:

• Immediately understood that the blood in the trash was period blood

• He's the absolute best at catering to your needs, even suggests taking some medicine that helps with pain

• After his day at work from the clinic he buys you something you've mentioned craving

• He is a bit worried if you're one of those ppl that sexual intimacy lowers pain (because he's a bit doubtful that it actually works)but if that's what you want, he'll do it

Felix:

• He panics even more than Zeus when he sees the blood in the trash

• You have to take a few minutes to successfully calm him down and explain it

• He is very very very confused so you'll have to be patient with him

• He asks a lot of questions abt it and that may end up in you getting overwhelmed and telling him off

• He's upset, but he kind of realizes that it's because of your period

• You have to be vocal about what you want with him at first but once you've gone through a couple of periods together then he gets the idea of your needs

Nox:

• Startled when he sees the blood in the trash but calms down when he finds out you're unharmed

• Asks about it and once you explain that its your period he understands

• His grandmother explained it to him once so he tries to go with her advice

• His usual teasing may upset you so he may end up getting yelled at

• He'll try to tone it down, but ya kno old habits die hard

• He brings quite a lot of different food in case your appetite is different from normal
