They're definitely going to start a religion or something anticipating my return. Those guys have way too much faith in me."

Kaladin: "Anyway, I've found that working through my own issues and helping other work through theirs is much more fulfilling work than trying to amass power. So I'm gonna be hanging with some quasi-dieties doing group therapy for a while. If you're not busy with anything...?"

Kelsier: "..."

Kaladin: *waits hopefully*

I love Hoid/Wit because he's the most fantasy character ever. He's a wandering minstrel, singing songs and weaving tales for his supper. His resume states that he's worked for multiple kings, queens, emperors, pirates, and at least one (1) fancy cowboy.

New Stormlight Archive Headcanon

Wit is the past seven Wits, as well as the "new" Wit. He has been killing off each Wit whenever he is bored, in increasingly melodramatic/ funny ways. He is DEEPLY annoyed that Elhokar keeps on failing to notice due to his own angst. Particularly since the last Wit was killed after he was run over by Elhokar's carriage,and he didn't even *stop to look*.

So bc Wit didn’t outright say it and Kal never seems to consider/note it, I kinda dismissed the notion that Kal’s nightmare in the Dog and the Dragon was Braize, until I read the Sunlit Man and Sig, when taking about various “hells” noted that “Damnation” was a cold place. This is all to say that when I got to Wit and Kal’s conversation in WaT on my relisten (I’m looking for a particular scene that I want to find on my own) I decided to go listen to the Dog and the Dragon again. I forgot about the wind! One of the worst parts is the hateful wind when all Kal’s life he’s loved the wind, and in Wind and Truth we find that the wind truly loves him back.

Also that little note about there being a dragon on Roshar and that’s Cultivation!
