put on a light layer of every lipstick/lip gloss/etc. you have and make kiss shaped swatches in your binder. note the shade, brand, and finish. then the mood/occasion in which you’d wear it.
swatch all your lip liners, again leaving the details of the product.
swatch your foundation shades. note the finish, name and brand.
make a sheet dedicated to all your “holy grail”, essential products.
swatch your eyeshadow palettes. i have all my shimmer pigments swatches and it’s the prettiest thing to look at.
do you have any go to makeup looks? your casual look, going out look, no makeup makeup look, etc.? do these looks and take high quality pics. make personalized face charts by printing them out and noting the steps and products you used.
take c*nty pics of your lashes after trying on all your mascaras/falsies. note the effects and when you would be most likely to wear them.
print out any pics of interesting makeup looks and products you wanna try.
try on lip combos and kiss swatch them. i’m doing this because i do amazing lip combos all the time but i forget which products i used, and it’s hard to replicate the look.
body
take a stick figure-esque picture of yourself and print it out. any outfit you want to buy, print and clip it out first and see if it’s something you’d wear and actually like.
are you experiencing any skin issues on your body and trying any products? keep track of the issue and how the products are doing.
if you don’t already have one, brainstorm workout routines and general wellness/fitness goals.
what are your fav body products? what products did you buy, and hate? TRACK THEM!

*this can be expensive but the fashion girls will prob love this* go to the fabric store and buy little swatches that you like. take note of what the fabric is and why you like it.

i've been preparing this post for a while bcuz i LOVE spring and for this spring i just wanna embody feminine, fairy, dream-like beauty in my day-to-day this spring, and just enjoy it fully.
THE MOOD FOR SPRING : planting new seeds, fresh fruit, and bouquets of flowers. tea parties and floral prints and perfumes. green grapes, hibiscus tea and waking up early to see the sunrise.

PREPARATION FOR SPRING : stock up on your favorite fruits and teas. if u want fruits that are in season, the fruits in season during spring include strawberries, cherries, blueberries, kiwis, bananas and nectarines. my favorite spring time tea is hibiscus and i love a good matcha during all seasons but especially spring, and lastly a good citrus tea is always something that i enjoy.
if ur someone who experiences rly bad allergies during the spring make sure that u go to ur doctors for a check up, and make sure that u have everything that you'll need to combat allergies.

REFRESH : time for spring cleaning both mentally and physically. analyze what habits are nourishing u and which habits are drying you out. analyze ur space and do a deep cleaning, that way u can feel lighter both mentally and physically.

go thru ur closet and put the winter and autumn clothes towards the back and bring the spring clothes where they're more accessible and visible

CULTIVATING CREATIVITY :

connecting with nature - go and get some fresh air, wake up earlier than usual to watch and enjoy the sunrise. drink different teas that you've never tried before, go to a local crystal shop if ur into that, make urself an elaborate platter of ur favorite fruits. go for a walk in the park, pick flowers and speaking of flowers, go and buy urself a pretty bouquet.

its like gardening. your thought is the seed, and ur mind is the soil. when u entertain ur thoughts ur watering the seed, and you'll get a new flower, the flower is the new experience. so this spring, plant new thoughts and entertain those thoughts ✨

Karina: I'm sure she'll make you watch Disney movies like Rapunzel or Frozen and you will not have a choice but to sing all the songs together. In the end, it's almost karaoke lol. Lots of fooood, mostly ice cream, noodles, and Tteokbokki. Loves doing your skincare and makeup, almost doing asmr on you. She loves relaxing you, giving you massages if you want to. Sometimes when she doesn't have enough energy to sleep late, you'll have tea and read together, if you do not want to read yourself she'll read to you, helping you fall asleep slowly. Lots of cuddling. She loves brushing your hair with her hand, paying attention to not hurt you. A date night with you is very soothing and calming.
Giselle: Bought a polaroid and takes lots of pictures, of you, of the activities you do together, the food you eat, everything. She wants to keep a lot of memories. Matching pyjamas for sure. You'll watch superhero movies like Deadpool, old spiderman, and Captain America. She prepares a good bath for both of you (with essential oils, a bath bomb, and some candles. She plays the guitar for you. She wants you to do her makeup, she thinks it's fun. You bring her her favourite coffee and she's so happy she buys you your favourite dessert. I feel like she would have tried to bake a cake or some sweets like macarons. When it's time to go to bed she takes you in her arms and falls asleep with you as her plushie.
Winter: She definitely made you dinner and dessert. Meanwhile, she sent you a list of snacks to buy. Because she loves snacks, she's an expert you can trust her. You watch 2 movies, one she chose (probably a war movie or an action movie), and one you chose. Even if she doesn't like the type of movie it is or if you guys already saw it a hundred times. You eat A LOT. Maybe no matching pyjamas but at least the same colour. She cuddles with you while watching the movies and eventually falls asleep on your lap if it's getting too late. She prepared a comfy bed that smells good so you're cozy and feeling good. She's very hugable, like a squishmallow.
Ningning: You'll obviously watch Titanic because it's her favourite movie (she might cry). Home karaokeeee. Blackpink songs all over the place. The type to twerk when her favourite song is playing. She gives you lots of kisses and back hugs. You eat pizzas and also watch Shrek, to the point where you two can redo the scenes. At 3am you watch puppies that are for adoption on the internet and imagine what it'll be like when you'll have your own. She does your makeup and skincare, and she likes taking care of you. When it's time to fall asleep, she puts her head on her chest and grabs your waist, then she falls asleep listening to your heartbeat.

How to be Coquette in Spring 🐣🌸
How to be the girliest, coquette forest fairy, in bloom for the Spring season 🍃🧚‍♀️💌

Wake up early every Spring morning. Everything is in bloom! Read a light hearted book in bed. Open your window to smell the fresh air and flowers if your lucky like me and live in the countryside! If your in a city, go for a walk! Have a shower, do your skincare and make a healthy, Spring breakfast. Maybe some fruit with all the fresh colors now the weather is warming up? 🍓🍉
Wear floral print everything! (Especially in Springtime) 🌷 Pick an airy, fairy light outfit. But make sure it’s still warm incase it gets chilly and there are any April showers 🌧 Some Coquette Spring clothing essentials are (milkmaid tops, Mary Janes, floral dresses, pretty skirts, cardigans, flower crowns, satchels, light-knit sweaters, crochet items 🎀)
School or work can be boring. But Spring makes everything better 💐 Walk to school/work if you can and listen to Lana. Make your notes look pretty with some pretty flower doodles, leaf drawings or add flower pressing to your school books/journals. Wear flowers in your hair to school, make daisy chains at break/lunch. Bring in some Spring treats for your friends to enjoy. Maybe buy a new floral backpack and add some pretty flower charms to it, also invest in some pastel highlighters/stationary for Spring. Put some Spring stickers on your headphones/water bottle🌼

Go on a picnic. This is literally the perfect time of year to as the weather is getting warmer. Take a pink, gingham picnic blanket with you and go and have fun! Take some pictures for Instagram and you could even decorate a pretty cake to bring with you 🎂
Do some Spring baking. Heart shaped cookies, cupcakes, pastel rice crispie nests, jam envelope’s, cherry pie, the list is endless. You could also bring these sweet treats on your picnic! 🍰💌
Have a tea party. By yourself or with friends. You could go vintage shopping for some beautiful china teacups/tea sets. Bake scones, but biscuits and pretty sweets like marshmallows, party rings, bon-bons and macaroons. Buy a selection of Tea’s and dress up elegantly. Decorate your table with a pink tablecloth and add pretty decorations all around. Wear silk, lacy gloves too, so you look like a Spring princess sipping her tea 🍵🎀
Do some flower pressing 🌸
Buy anything that is “ditsy floral” print and anything that is Bunny themed 🐰
Have a yellow, pink, cream, beige and baby blue wardrobe all throughout this time of year 💝
Go on long Spring walks. Even if you live in a city. You can take pretty photos and see wildlife as you walk ⛅️
Wear flowers or bows in your hair everyday to really emulate Spring through your outfits. Wether they be casual or classy at all times 🪷
Have a new Spring scent. There are so many floral scented perfumes, and you could correlate one for this season. Then whenever you smell that scent again, you will be reminded of Spring 🌷
Buy a pink raincoat and umbrella to splash in April shower puddles. Take some cute photos with them for Instagram and put a “rainy day” quote as the caption💦💗
Don’t forget to indulge in sweet treats. Especially because it has been Easter. Now winter comfort food is out the way, Spring is a very sweet and refreshing time of year. Treat yourself and venture out of your comfort zone with some yummy looking new pastries or sweets from another country. (I love Japan’s sweets soooo much!) 🍡
Make a new “Coquette Spring playlist” or just add mine to your library 😋 ⬇️🌸
Read light hearted novels or fantasy children’s hooks, outside on sunny days. 📖
Have a “Coquette Spring” movie marathon. Cinderella (2015), Marie Antionette, Tangled, Pride & Prejudice and A room with a view are all beautiful and visually aesthetically pleasing movies to watch this time of year 🌸
