Anyway, I was surprised when I watched the Granblue Anime because in the second season's obligatory Djeeta episode, she's decked out in Chrysaor gear for the entire episode! It made me think of you

Der Lenker schlägt mir in die Leiste. Vor mir wirbelt der Mann, inzwischen ohne Rad, davon. Das Rad rast aus dem Wirbelsturm auf mich zu, an mir vorbei. Es scheppert gegen einen Kleinwagen. Ich sehe in den Sturm und halte mich an den Bremsen meines Fahrrads fest. In dieser Nacht habe ich ihn wieder vor mir gesehen, hingehen, keinen Rückzieher machen, heute ist das Wetter nicht schön, da schwimmt er sicher. Wann soll ich auf die Bank gehen? Heute habe ich frei, er könnte zu mir kommen, ich glaube, er hat einfach Angst. Es ist schon wieder so unerträglich heiß, dabei schaut es nach Regen aus, ich muss ins Wasser. Irgendwie geht dort immer ein kalter Wind. Er wollte einfach fangen spielen, denn als ich die Mandarinenten beobachtet habe, ist mir das richtige Wort eingefallen: Balzgehabe. Warum ist er umgedreht, das hat mich so verletzt, hat er mich überhaupt gesehen? Ich bin ganz ruhig dort sitzen geblieben, er müsste sich ja umgedreht haben, um mich zu sehen, hat er aber nicht. Ist er auf dem Rücken geschwommen? Rückenschwimmer sind rücksichtslos. Ich kann mich auch irren, aber gestern sah ich es als Flucht. Habe geträumt, dass ich an einem See bin und dort ins Wasser gehe, wo es seicht ist, wo nur die Nichtschwimmer hingehen, ich bin auf einer Windhose geritten, habe gewartet, bis der Wind kommt, dann bin ich mit der blau-weiß-rot gestreiften Windhose auf einen Berg geflogen, einen Wasserfall entlang aufwärts, ganz oben habe ich Tom überholt. Er hat zu mir gesagt, dass sie mich zwischen zwei Booten zerquetschen hätten können, ich habe nur gelacht. Bin ins Schwimmbad gefahren, beim Obelisken bin ich der Griechin aus Alexandria begegnet, sie hat zu mir gesagt, dass das Wasser gereinigt worden sei, habe Adams Rucksack gesucht, aber weil ich ihn nicht gesehen habe, dachte ich, er sei nicht da, habe mich auf meinen Platz gesetzt und ins Wasser geschaut und da schwamm er. Ich bin dann auch geschwommen, 60 Längen, als ich bei der fünfzigsten war, ist er langsam Brust geschwommen, aber trotzdem habe ich es nicht geschafft, ihn zu überholen, einmal, als er an mir vorbei schwamm, habe ich ihm zugerufen Warum bist du immer schneller? Er hat boshaft gekichert, nein, nicht boshaft, das Eis war gebrochen. Er ist an den Startblöcken herum geturnt und hat sich mit dem Bademeister unterhalten, als ich ankam, hat er gesagt, dass das Wetter besser sein könnte, ich habe gerufen dass es so am besten sei, Adam hat mich angeschaut Wegen den vielen Leuten? Sie lassen uns nie schwimmen! der Bademeister hat gesagt Ja, für Schwimmer ist es ideal, ich bin weiter geschwommen, Adam hat auf mich gewartet am Beckenrand, ich habe ihn gefragt, wie viele Längen er immer schwimmt, Ich schwimme nach Kilometern, vier oder fünf, zählst du mit, ja schon, hat mir erklärt, dass 100 Längen fünf Kilometer seien, HA! Er ist im Wasser herumgetollt wie ein Delphin, während ich geschwommen bin, seine Füße haben ein paar Mal aus dem Wasser geschaut, weil er unter Wasser Kopfstände gemacht hat. Nach der sechzigsten Länge bin ich aus dem Wasser gesprungen und an ihm vorbei gegangen, habe ihn angelächelt, ich hätte ihn fragen können, aber in dem Moment war es nicht wichtig. Warum spricht er mich nie an, traut er sich nicht, warum fragt er mich nicht, wie ich heiße, interessiert es ihn nicht, warum fragt er mich nichts, ich habe mich in ein Handtuch eingewickelt und geraucht und er ist weiter im Wasser herum getollt und dann noch eine Länge ganz schnell gekrault, er war ganz allein im Wasser und hat zu mir her geschaut, dann ist er zurück geschwommen, Brust, ist aus dem Wasser und mit seinem Rucksack über die Treppe gegangen, für immer, nein, da, wo er früher immer…..ich bin auch gegangen. Einmal wollte er aus dem Wasser springen, aber als er sah, dass ich noch schwamm, ist er auch weiter geschwommen, er hat gesagt, dass er nach Kilometern schwimmt, aber da muss er ja auch Längen zählen, er ist immer so höflich, er verwirrt mich, sein Rücken ist so erotisch. Einmal hat er sich neben mir aufs Wasser gelegt und den Kopf nach hinten gebeugt und in den Himmel geschaut, er hat wunderschön ausgeschaut, so androgyn. Inzwischen ist es wieder schön geworden, die Sonne schien durch die Wolken.

This is terrible. It doesn't stack with Ferry, Six or any other bonus damage passive including the Hollowsky Axe on top of being a fist in dark so high ranking players won't use it and low ranking players aren't consistently TAing so its only a once in a blue moon bonus.

Nyx and 1.2x CD accel from Tenebrous

So some theory crafting here:

One of the Tenebrous Shadow effect is: When using Hyper Active, Special Active skill cooldown acceleration is increased by x times for y seconds. The maximum value when all 4 parts are equipped is at 1.2x for 60 seconds.

Imagine this scenario with Nyx.

With Benediction, you can accelerate HA's cooldown by 2 times for 5 seconds. If you use Concentrated El's Essence, you can reduce it further by 60 seconds. After calculation and some practical gameplay experiment, with max M.Skill CD reduction, you can only use Benediction 4 times consecutively before the effect runs out, leaving about 40 seconds on your HA. Then we use the skill 2 more times to reduce the CD further by 10 seconds without the effect, resulting in a 30-second downtime in total. (And this is only if you use Benediction immediately after its CD is finished.)

With that said, is 1.2x CD accel for 60 seconds with a 30-second downtime worth it? Let's try to calculate with our main skill: Moon's Origin.

Note that CD reduction from different source is multiplicative.

Let's start:

Haste: -20% (x0.8)

Serene Sea: -20% (x0.8)

Max CD reduction: -35% (x0.65)

These are the basic stats you can obtain easily by levelling up and socketing.

Now we add Tenebrous Shadow effect in:

Tenebrous Shadow effect: -20% (x0.8)

The cooldown, if you're able to obtain all of the above, will be:

22 x 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.65 x 0.8 = 7.3216 seconds.

Also noteworthy, BnW title's White buff reduces special active cooldown by 8% (x0.92)

7.3216 x 0.92 = 6.736 seconds

We're 0.736 second off its duration, and that's where The Hour Between Dog and Wolf (DnW) comes in. This skill reduces a skill's cooldown by 10% of its original CD, which means it will subtract a whopping 2.2 seconds. Therefore, the final cooldown will be:

6.736 - 2.2 = 4.536 seconds.

You will have about a second (or less if you don't have BnW) to reactivate Moon's Origin to keep its stack. So in theory, you can maintain the buff without external help.

And now that we talk about this, let's considered some other reliable CD accel buff:

CC's Rapid Guardian: -40% (x0.6)

CaT's Power of Oriax: -50% (x0.5)

BL's Mod Windhose: -30% (x0.7)

CL's Natal Chart (Fortune of Unknown): -30% (x0.7) > I'd say both CL and NP go hand in hand since both of them benefits a lot from Benediction.

The new cooldown will be:

6.736 x 0.6 x 0.5 x 0.7 x 0.7 = 0.99 seconds

Then we use DnW, the skill instantly resets.

Practically speaking, it'd be hard to achieve. Most of the time you'll only have one of the aforementioned classes anyway. DnW also doesn't benefit from Serene Sea's passive and it doesn't have Haste, so this would be a really farfetched result. The most reasonable one would be around 3 seconds after using DnW.

So weigh the options yourself. Do you like having consistent cooldown reduction with a bit of a downtime, or a 12% chance every time you cast for a cooldown reset.

In either case, the RNG of Tenebrous set is your biggest obstacle here. Good luck grinding.

Something I've been meaning to ask, what should I do with my daily points? I have like, 2000 that I just hoarded because I had no idea what were the best things to spend it on. I started using some on Europa harps for my water team since I can't access the raid yet but other than that, I'm not really sure what to use them for.

that depends what you're missing since this specific shop allows you to access otherwise tricky weapons.

in Order of things that you may find useful:

Regalia:

the weapons of the disciples, raids available only once you reached rank 120. they're usually core to a M2 grid.

-For Fire, none of them. Fire grids tend to encourage more the use of Twin Elements's sword so none of Shiva's weapons really fits.

-For Water, Tyros Zither, Europa's harp is the way to go. You will need 3 max uncapped of it in your grid, meaning thinking about 12 copies.

-For Earth, you will need two of the weapons in the shop. Note that if you happen to have Caim your grid will be significantly different (if you want to improve your Earth on the long run, starting to forge his summon, The Hanged Man, in Arcarum first will therefore do you good).

Without Caim: You will want 3 fully uncapped Nibelung Horn, the Axe (so 12 copies), and 2 fully uncapped Nibelung Klinge, the Katana (so 8 copies) With Caim: Only one copy of each (so 4 copies each). (note that if you go primal in earth you will still need one fully uncapped Klinge)

-For Wind, you will need either 3 fully uncapped Last Storm Harp (so 12 copies), or 2 fully uncapped Last Storm Harp (8 copies) + 1 Coruscant Crozier (4 copies)

-For Light, Regalia are not recommanded. Pillar of Flame can have its use, but a Light HL Grid rely on the Lumi Swords.

-For Dark, it's a bit more complicated because it's a very flexible element in which to play in and there's a lot of different grids combinaisons. But you will generally want at least 1 fully uncapped Abyss Spine (4 copies). Some more specific grid have 4 fully uncapped Abyss Spine (so 16 copies). At least aim to get one copy i think.

NOTE: to fully uncap each of these weapons, the 4* will require you to be able to access to the raid in questions. They are therefore not something you can fully rely on as long as you haven't unlocked the raids. However Note also that the drop rate in those raids is really bad so any access to the weapons outside of it is welcomed.

Xeno:

Xeno weapons are unique elemental attack booster. At least one of each element is recommended in a grid. Xeno's events tend to run once every two months or so, in between U&F in preparation for the next U&F's element. It's usually recommended to grind them there when they're live because further steps of the uncap demands mats only available in it.

Note that both Xeno of their elements have various use and you'll often see both of them in recommended grids format.

The First Xeno of each element you see on the list are the main recommended one, the Second is generally a little more niche of use.

You want only One Max Uncapped Copy of any specific Xeno weapons.

I'd say neglect them in the shop unless you're in a dire situation considering you will be locked from unlocking their full potential without the event raids, but also it means preparing to go ham for a future Xeno event. IF you're in dire need of a major boost in each element, you can start collecting your Xeno.

Xeno's elemental boost is not to be neglected so if you struggle a lot in an element or really want to improve another, do think about focusing on Xeno.

Proving Ground:

PG also runs in between U&F in preparation for the next one. The weapons all have their uses that can be more niche than the others. In the list, that can be used in more usual grids, are -Windhose (Wind Sword: extremely good since Wind often lack good sword and this one gives a major boost to CA damage.) -Zwei Schaedel (Dark Fist: has a tripple attack boost that comes very handy)

My recommandation? Focus maybe on the Regalia for all elements i mentioned if you're scared about the drop rate in future raids. Focus on elements you want to work on, whenever it's because you want to improve a garbage element or if you want to get better at your favorite element. Xeno are must have in grids but you'll be drastically blocked from unlocking this power without the event. and PG have their own specific goods in it.

tbh im real mad about my wind team comp and the recent wind favored events bc of all the effort i put into what i still want to consider my main wind set up, with soldier and john doe and the bullets (and tia, morrigna, val grimnir front line). but bc relic buster became a thing, (bc windhose), bc in april i 5*’d the bastard man, and because in may during golden week free-draws i got grand narmaya. jfc it’s like... it’s just the fast otk (or kill in a few turns and can totally put on auto after clicking fight on turn two ((to avoid using 7′s third skill until turn 3)). like if i hadn’t 5*’d him, grand maya wouldn’t be as op as she for me... (fricking 5*’d him on the 15th of april and drew her on the 1st of may). i 5*’d him half as a joke with the intention of really not using him bc he’d probably mess with soldier’s ougi flow set up. but relic busters instant fully party ougi with ca spec boost... and then seofon’s unchallenged on ougi making him basically never get hit so he can cast his third skill easily and fully party ougi again... i mean i can be used on turn 2 but i hold off until turn three so i can take advantage of maya’s bonus elemental and amplified normal attacks on the double strike her ougi gives her for next turn... then we all ougi again on turn three, and maya’s skill are off cooldown again and gets to double strike w/her assassin buff ; A ; it feels so goddamn broken i miss my soldier team (to be fair i don’t think i know how well this team holds up to alexial solo so... idk soldier might still have a solid purpose)
