Eee! Today is Geek Girl Con! Really small local convention for women folk in STEM and just general nerdiness. We haven’t been to a convention in ages and I’m stoked.

im so upset by ambers death actually.. i feel like her role and development alongside house and wilson and cuddy could’ve been so interesting like….her parallels with house… their mutual respect for each other and wilsons genuine enjoyment at watching them fight over him…. the type of relationship she could’ve eventually had with cuddy or thirteen….. and i keep thinking about how when wilson told her what happened she immediately put everything together knew that she was dying and Why she was dying idk the potential is just…. :(

THE FALL (2006) RERELEASE THIS YEAR? FOR REAL? FOR REAL?

I'm putting it out into the universe that I'd like some real time, parallel story telling for the next couple of stories. If it's anything like the books, I want Sophie to get introduced before Benedict's Netflix season and we see them meet, fall in love and part ways (c'monnn, masquerade). And then all of us Benophie fans LIVE IN PAIN FOR REST OF THE SEASON/S until it's their turn.

Benedict's subplot will be full of red herrings as he searches for her and finds no trace. Each Netflix season that passes will be the actual time jumps of their relationship. Take your time to build up their story arc, slowly and by delectable layers. I'll happily wait multiple seasons, as long as you give me a pay off i.e. please don't cancelled the show. Also tbh, if Benedict's story is season 4, you're going to resolve the best part of the show for me and I'll have no incentive to keep watching :)

So give me more seasons, you get a loyal fanbase with $$, Benophie's story is done with justice and we all enjoy the juicy slow burn with a HEA. It's a win-win-win-win.

When I was a teenager and still on Neopets I was part of a pretty big Star Trek guild and eventually became part of its council, with the solemn duty of creating weekly polls. Well one day I created the poll "Which would win in a fight? Borg Cube or Death Star?". Naturally, since this was a Star Trek guild, the answer was overwhelmingly "Borg Cube", but someone did have the rationality to point out we were biased.

So I look up a pretty prominent Star Wars guild and message one of their council and ask them to poll the same question and get back to me in a week. They do, and naturally the fuckin geeks said "Death Star".

So then I look up a Stargate guild and messaged the lead council member, saying the same thing, and they get back to me almost immediately saying that the Death Star would immediately one-shot a Borg Cube but they would never be able to do it again to another Cube. And I took that wisdom back to my guild and we were mollified, and for one moment the Nerd World was peaceful.
