Actor’s Denise Crosby (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and William Moses (Falcon Crest) have been cast as Jeff and Carolyn Webber, Elizabeth Webber’s parents! Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) parents have been missing from the canvas for an extended period. In the case of Liz’s mother, Carolyn has never appeared on the show but has been mentioned from time to time. Richard Dean Anderson played the role of Jeff from 1976-1981.
Moses is making his daytime debut on the ABC series, although he does have a prior connection to the soap via his older brother, Rick Moses, who appeared as a hit man named Hutch in 1980 during the Luke and Laura “Left-Handed Boy” storyline. Also in 1980, Crosby appeared as Lisa Davis on “Days of our Lives.” The actress has appeared in numerous shows since her breakout role as Lt. Tasha Yar in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” including her reprising the character in voice form in several “Star Trek” themed video games. She recently played the Secretary of the Navy in an episode of “NCIS” and had a recurring role as Faye Richardson during the final season of “Suits.”
Moses became famous for Falcon Crest but also starred in the movie “Mystic Pizza” opposite a young Julia Roberts.
No first air date was announced at press time.

I'm in the basement. I lock the part of me that Sir took in there, the part I never got back, the part that craves the darkness, loneliness, and pain. It's the place that I go in my mind where I become what we hunt to help us with our cases and bring people home.

I can't believe I briefly forgot that William and Eliza are actually the same levels of totally insane just in slightly different ways, and whenever the other does something insane they act like they're the rational ones

One thing I think the 2005 LWW film really got right is Peter.
In the very first scene, we see him being relied on by his mother as the man of the house. He is the man of the house since their father is away fighting, but he’s still a child. He’s been told that he’s a child, but he’s expected to be a grown up at sixteen.
Then, the train station scene. That one breaks my heart. Peter is told to “look after the others.” He promises to do so. He’s being the big brother, the man of the house, even as he goes away from one of the places where he’s most comfortable in that role. He sees his siblings as his responsibility. And then he looks up and sees a soldier not much older than he is at sixteen. This boy is eighteen. So Peter looks at him and wonders and wishes.
On the train and in the professor’s house, he sees it as his job to keep his family safe and happy. He does all the big brother things. He helps with luggage, makes sure they eat, makes sure they’re comfortable while he itches in his own skin.
And then they end up in Narnia. And Peter no longer is able to do any of those things for his siblings. Though he tries his darnedest.
The internal war there was so palpable and I appreciate it so much more now than I did when it was first released.

The picture in her office concealing a hole in the wall with secrets -> Nash's office hiding not one but two safes with secrets
"That would be a sure way to never have any clients." -> her name plate in Nash's office, then putting her own name above her father's office finally
Eliza trying to make ends meet and getting laughed at for being a detective -> running her own agency ish! With one employee even!
Eliza pretending to be William's wife/ mistress to get into places -> Eliza pretending to be his wife to get in to see him when he's in a coma after being shot
William working so hard to get a promotion from the commissioner -> him taking a year off of work in London, and then Fitzroy turning down a promotion from his father, the commissioner
William and Eliza talking to Henry's ghost -> whole flashback episode of Henry being a parent to both of them
Arguing about the kiss -> THE KISS and then THE PRESENT DAY KISS
Tumblr media
Also, because I love mess too: William and Eliza being mean best friends who are secretly in love with each other -> William telling her he loves her and then leaving for a year
