This was a very fun exercise to redraw an old comic, and see how my style has changed and art improved! I definitely prefer certain aspects of the original comic, but there's no harm redrawing it so ppl can see Spectrum

the juppet !! i just realised he is jerma posing i swear that was unintentional...... i spent so long digging thru muppet concept art and looking at old puppet designs just to end up doing a rly simple drawing but. i love joehills!! i have only been watching them for like 4 years but their videos r so special to me :3

#art #traditional art #watercolour #fanart #synthv #synthesizer v #genbu #kasane teto #rikka is also here :) i think she likes to cause problems sometimes. because all the adults in her life are dweebs #and very easy to cause problems with <3 #anyone else have this happen before. im older than a lot of my university peers and i always have been #because i took 5 years in highschool and my undergrad has been like 6 years and counting #(hashtag learning disability <3 ) and like thats chill to me i dont mind #but now i usually assume everyones way younger than me and i get shocked when theyre not. a buddy in some of my classes #when i first met her i absolutely and completely assumed she was like barely 19 and talked to her as such #like i dont talk down to people or anything but i do soften the way i talk a bit and give a bit extra patience with younger peers #cause yknow. i remember what it was like being 19. being 26 is WAY easier lol so i wanna give em a bit of leeway yknow #anyway a few months after meeting her i found out she was actually a year older than me and a grad student when she ended up as a TA in #another class i took. i felt so bad. we bonded tho and she didnt mind she thought it was kinda funny when i was like WAIT UR A GRAD STUDENT #i thought she was like a first or second year undergrad..............#also yeah im a 31yo teto fan. i dont mind the popular fanon that she has a separate age that makes her actually 15 and #i dont mind that more interpretations have her like that BUT for my internal canon she is a grown ass woman because i think its fun <3 #she pays taxes. she goes to work parties. she can rent a car. i love it #let teto rent a car. let her rent a car.#yknow im exicted to be 31. i still got a few more years of being a 20 something which is fun. but being a 30 something sounds like it rules

#geronimo stilton #thea stilton #thea sisters #art #sketches #chinese new year #lunar new year #year of the snake #year of the wood snake #i dunno how i crunched the girls' qipaos in one or two hours but here we are and i am surprisingly proud of them <3 #i did base them off of specific tailorings of qipao #violet is wearing a more traditional qipao which is more flowy and baggy and emphasizes elegance and comfort #colette is wearing a modernized qipao which is prolly the one you've seen if you've seen a qipao before #modern qipaos are more body-hugging and are all about accentuating natural curves to make the wearer look sexy #and paulina is wearing a bit of a hybrid thingy? i put her in this qipao and traditional vest top i dunno the proper name of #and this new trend going on in china apparently where you wear a long pleated skirt (ma mian qun) underneath your qipao #and the result is very much slay material #i like how they came out they came pretty :]#it took me less time to do the flowers than i thought haha what refs and a time crunch do to a bitch haha #reason i was rushing was because it's considered bad luck in china to celebrate a holiday late #not that i'm superstitious or anything but i did wanna make it in time #alrighty enjoy the sketch happy cny gamers #before you say i forgot nicky's tail #i headcanon that mouse lion dancers tuck their tails into their pants during performances so they don't tangle or shift the lion body weird #it's very baggy and comfortable dw their tails are and will be fine

some toh au sketches!!

okay…I realised I never post anything about my au and I wanted to change that…

most of it is really just concept ideas and "what if"s that I still haven't bothered to develop into proper storylines yet. ah well. maybe some day. I can explain some below the cut

at some point after the oopsy-doopsy arson happened in Bonesborough, Lanyon finds Jekyll's will like in the original story, except this time he gives up after Jekyll's very cagey response to not worry about it and decided to worry about it. Eventually he corners Hyde in the Night Market and challenges him to a witch's duel (how could Hyde refuse?), surprisingly being able to best him and might have even won, if not for Hyde whipping out Jekyll's palisman as a last ditch resort and escapes from a very stunned Lanyon.

there's also a redraw of an older plotline some may remember where I intended Hyde to find out how to suppress and control Jekyll's magic to cause problems (since while Hyde is part of Jekyll's curse in this au, he doesn't drain magic and shares the bile sac while in control) except this time I've also thought about Jekyll pulling the ol' uno reverse on him like in the comic.

purely self-indulgent, but I thought it would be really funny that in this au Jekyll saves the Lodgers by 1v5ing all the coven scouts sent out to capture the wild witches while undercover, flees while they're knocked out and does the same with Jasper.

last point!! Jekyll's Crow palisman was very panicked on the night of the first transformation, even attacking Hyde for a fair bit until he transformed back.

Again, I don't have a concrete storyline or a particular order these are in, for now it's just a huge collection of ideas for me to ponder about in the future when I do want to make a properly fleshed-out story regarding this au.
