Thicker Than - Full Moon Update

Happy full moon everyone! I’m still just doing my thing, slowly but surely nudging this game towards the finish line. I know it’s taking forever, but I know I’ll get there in the end. I’m a completionist. It’s a blessing and a curse.

In terms of new stuff, I’ve added some new stuff to chapter 12, finished chapter 13, and added but not finished chapters 14 and 15. The players who get the most new content right now are players who want to talk to or kill the king and/or those who’ve romanced Nathan. However, there is some new connective tissue text that all players will see.

The demo has a few holes in it right now. I’ve been skipping over the romantic scenes so I can get a bigger, clearer picture of how the endgame is going to look and how it’s going to play out. Once that’s locked in, I think it’ll be easier to interweave the auxiliary stuff (which includes most of the kissing). In the meantime, I’m so excited to write these last three endings. I’m so close I can taste 'em.

Oh! And, before I forget, I haven’t had time to made new chapter titles (I made them way back when I started writing this game and only made up to chapter 13) so those headers aren’t going to look pretty yet, but hopefully that’s okay.

It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Life got in the way and honestly, I’ve been taking my sweet time with this new build. It also didn’t help that the Sim File Share site kept giving me errors whenever I tried to upload it and I was supposed to post this last month.

Even now, I’m still dealing with errors on the site and after some frustration, I’ve decided to look into alternative sites for uploading content in the future. But after all the setbacks, it’s finally ready!

This clinic is designed to give a real-life feeling of visiting a healthcare facility. Inside, you’ll find a: reception area, consultation/exam rooms, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray/radiology, restroom, locker room, staff break room, doctors office and a large empty room for the rabbit hole rug/door. Now, a couple of things to keep in mind - the layout is designed with a small staff in mind but you can use the extra space in the second floor, where the rabbit hole rug/door is placed, if you want to add more offices or any other services. Just make sure that there is enough space for the rabbit hole rug/door to avoid routing issues. I had to get creative with the signs for this build as I couldn’t find anything that felt right or any CCs that matches the layout of the clinic so I made my own directory signs. It is included in the download file and I’ve posted the details along with this post as it is an add-on for the clinic. I’m using a font called Simlish Deja Vu by gazifu@MTS for the signs and I’ve also included translations in the picture above. It’s not perfect but you know what? It does the job! I have also placed a big sign shown on the clinic that translates to 'Pharmacy' and I know it might seem a bit out of place but honestly, it’s the only large sign I liked that fit the building aesthetic I was going for. 📣 Please note that the CC included in the lot are not included on the download file. I’ve compiled a list for those interested in downloading them separately (please click the links above or go to WCIF Navigation page) but those are not required and will be automatically replaced in the game. Any expansion packs with build items listed in the Details section above may be required for this lot to show up in your game. This clinic has been such a fun build to put together and I hope you all enjoy the build. This lot has been play-tested and let me know if you experience any problems on your end!

Hopefully this might be useful to other folks looking to keep track of All The Everything that's going on in the US right now.

This is a spreadsheet that I'm doing my best to keep updated (please forgive me if I fall a couple days behind, it's amazing how long it takes to list and source everything) and is a catalogue of events, grouped into (for now) 7 categories:

Events (basically anything that Happened but doesn't fall into the other groups)

Executive Orders (soon to feature specific numbers, but for now I haven't added that)

Pardons (in the future this category will also include actions of pardoned individuals after their release)

Firings (also including dismissals and the dissolving of positions)

Memos (specifically ones from the Trump administration that give direct orders)

Coup (for actions taken by Elon Musk's DOGE crew)

Resistance (for judicial rulings, protests, and other pushback)

I've personally been very overwhelmed by trying to keep up with everything, and have found it helpful (if exhausting) to keep a list that I can reference.

I'm attempting to keep the sources I link neutral in terms of bias (you'll see a lot of Associated Press and Reuters, in addition to the Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, BBC, and MSN), and to use pages that I either archive myself or that have been archived elsewhere. This way, even if my links get broken, the information should still be accessible in any case.

I'm primarily using the daily reports of Heather Cox Richardson (historian and political expert) and the Alt National Parks feed (a coalition of 90k+ federal workers collaborating to keep the public informed) as my starting points, as well as various watchdog-type accounts that report on things as they come up.

Please feel free to make your own copies of this and update or edit them as you choose, or bookmark the original and use it as a reference guide. I don't claim to be unbiased or to catch every single event or issue, but I'll do my best to keep this updated as long as it remains useful.

Hi anon! Yes, absolutely, I can give some Lando recs.

I always try to keep my 'fic recs' tag updated as I read and finish and comment on things so you can always check there for more! However, most of the lando things I read are landoscar fics. Landoscar Fic Recs (ao3 links)

and your quaint honour turn to dust by foggystars —I'm currently reading this one as my first girl!driver fic and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I've been enjoying it! It's so much more than just 'making someone into a girl', it's clear the writer really took their time in developing these characters, giving them flaws and backstories and imperfections and everything in between. And the writing really feels so close to home, easy to read, but so professional. I've felt so many feelings with this last chapter and I'm anxiously awaiting more.

The Arrangement by lxuisfineline —Another one I'm currently reading because, you know me, I absolutely love AUs and the concept for this one felt so unique it just caught my interest right away. The writing is detailed and captivating and Lando is such a strong character in his own right and following the journey of his development has been so entertaining! This one also has had a few moments that had me genuinely reacting out loud

Loud and Clear by oscatmeowstri —This was one of the first landoscar fics I read so it holds a special place in my heart! The balance between media 'posts'/radios and narrative writing kept the pacing upbeat and interesting and yet didn't take away from it feeling like a real 'novel'. A good AU for those who are unsure about AUs because it's still in the F1 universe and Lando is still a driver!

Software Instability by KingKestrel —This one was awesome omg. Again, the uniqueness of the summary caught my attention (and the fact that it was an AU) and the writing itself kept me around (and wanting more!). It really had you rooting for them in a world where 'them' felt impossible.

if you didn't already know, webtoon released a cardpack collection on their official shop in collaboration with Taeyang Shop, and there's a ton of really neat cards of artwork from the manhwa!!! among those, there's a handful of incredibly special ones. a couple caught my eye, including:

this 3 card combined spread!!! alillojavi is real. the trio ever. i love them . if you look at the edge of lloyd and javier's card too you'll see the wooden sword that got broken by og!lloyd HELPPP WAHAHA

and these character profile cards!!! these are actually what i wanted to focus on for this post so i'll be talking abt these from here on out. with just the sample i had actually just thought the lloyd, javier, and alicia cards were face cards, but no those are profile ones there's INFO ON THE BACK!!! i'll share those in a bit nod emoji

i've only found a couple accounts on twitter that show these cards in their entirety, which i will post and link below!!! please do check out the accounts of the OPs i link, they post a lot about tged!

card 126 is bangul's profile card! she's so cute~

NOW FOR THE HUMAN CHARACTER CARDS!

we were able to see the front and back of alicia's and lloyd's character cards thanks to sion_wp on twitter! a huge thank you to them!!!

let's start with alicia's! line by line, from top to bottom, her text reads:

i actually really like that she is a libra, it really fits well for her considering she is described as someone who is extremely just and fair when it comes to politics and civil decisions. the libra is represented by the scales, which is commonly associated with judgement and the law! it also has an association with Lady Themis, goddess of law and justice, which is very neat and so so fitting for alicia! i want to draw her as Lady Themis!

ok well to get picky, the likes and dislikes are all related to suho,,, so this could be suho!lloyd we're talking about. however, the stats appear to be for lloyd's body? so i think it's safe to say that lloyd's bday being the same as suho's is canon!!! unless the author says otherwise, but until then WOW THEY HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY THATS CRAZY!!! ITS CONFIRMED!!!!! THOSE OF YOU WHO COMMENTED ON MY LAST POST ABT THIS WERE RIGHT LMFAO

we also get to see lloyd's height, which also tells us javier's height since the novel mentions that javier is exactly five centimeters taller than lloyd! i haven't spotted anyone posting javier's profile card details yet, but hopefully once we find it it'll match up at 186cm!

WOW! quite tall!!! considering too that suho appears to be slightly taller than lloyd, suho could be a little over six feet tall, that's crazy!!!

on the profile cards, we also get to see seals for magentano and frontera estate:

as aforementioned, i have yet to see anyone post javier's profile card, so while we already know his birthday and height, we don't know his weight, blood type, likes and dislikes. hopefully someone pulls it and posts it soon! when they do, i'll update this post nod emoji

i don't think lloyd frontera's birthday has been officially confirmed yet, at least as far as i know! we actually got to find out javier's birthday because someone asked the author, and the author's response got posted, so hopefully someone can ask again about lloyd's!

the only two birthdays that are confirmed (to my knowledge) are suho's which is february 22nd, and javier's which is today, january 26th! though if i'm wrong please do correct me lol

edit: i've been informed that the unknown knight's tged collab lists his birthday as february 22nd, but whether or not this is canon is up to you, take that as you will! i personally will wait til the author / adaptation team clarifies nod emoji
