i can’t stop thinking about the pictures on buck’s fridge. because he already had them. he always had them. he was keeping them hidden somewhere in his loft. in a drawer. in a box. away from everyone else to see. and now they’re on the fridge. in the kitchen. because love is stored in the kitchen. because that’s where he baked with christopher. that’s where he came out to eddie. that’s where he perfected the lasagna recipe for them. that’s where they sat down and joked and ate and were a family. christopher is gone, we don’t even know if he’s talking to buck, we definitely know he’s barely talking to eddie, and buck misses him so much he took out the hidden pictures and put them up on the fridge for everyone to see. for him to see. for eddie to see. for christopher to see, when he comes home.

been thinking about an elaborate au-kinda-but-mostly-canon-retelling thing. One of the things i was thinking about was incorporating Green getting injured in Origins, but with lasting consequences of having a giant 200lb turtle slammed against him at mach speeds instead of just magical full recovery offscreen. Disabled rep is so rare so I like to fit it where I can lol

more on the story though, this is like ~16 months or so after the Championship. Red's disappeared about a year prior. Leaf (who's Red's sister in this particular au) is dragging Green with her to the islands to get him out of his post-Red funk and help her conduct some zoographical research of the area. I wanna draw more of them hanging out, too~

I feel like we've moved past what Callum was saying with the redo of when Rayla came back way too quickly. He wants to "try that moment again" - this is what he wished he did initially. That means Callum is saying that the fiRST THING he should have done when Rayla came back was kiss her. The first thing he should have said was "I love you" - after not having an opportunity to say anything to her for two years, after all the heartache of not knowing if she was even alive, after being left and all the hurt that caused. This is more than forgiveness; it's "I'm sorry I was ever mad at you in the first place." It's "nothing you did or will ever do will change the fact that I love you." The first thing. I am losing my grip on reality.

I think… it isn’t recognized enough that yellow ISNT another fragment. He’s the full king himself that Kayne wiped the memories of and shoved into Arthur’s mind.

Any sort of character development that yellow had- every bit of pain and desire for Arthur to accept him and want him around- or attempt to try to work with him. that was hastur.

I feel like this gets missed far too often

The yellow that Arthur apologized to at the end WAS the king- The same entity that harassed him and haunted him through the first two seasons.

God I want to do a character analysis about what this but my brain is too fuzzy right now and I cannot put these implications into words. But you understand that this is no small thing, right?
