Hey, I wanted to address a couple of things.
I have been receiving several asks regarding some of my recent posts. I admit they are darker than the usual stuff. That was a decision I consciously made, because I do tend to have darker fantasies and wanted to see how they would be received. I consider most of the criticism I received to be valid points. Here are a few of them:
The whole idea of "ruining yourself"/"ruining your body" as you're gaining weight can be found fatphobic
Connecting feederism to habitual behavior, addiction, loss of control, and even brain damage can be found scary or even disturbing
Encouraging people to embrace health issues (both physical and mental) because of feederism can be found toxic
Constantly connecting feederism and weight gain with the negative side effects (sluggishness and laziness, health issues, societal judgement, etc.) can lead to the conclusion that feederism, obesity, indulgence, etc. are generally bad things
I won't try to defend myself. In fact, I completely agree with (most) criticism I received. The only kind of "criticism" I don't recognize are attacks toward me personally, but that's just reflected in a minority of the asks I receive. To all people who have sent me asks: it's great that you're sharing your opinion and thoughts, and I encourage you to keep doing so!
I think it is necessary to mention again that I don't mean anyone any harm. I am not fatphobic, and I do not mean to force any kinks upon anyone. This is just me writing and recording some horny ideas I occasionally have for those people who are into the same stuff. It is also very important to mention that in many cases, the fantasy of something can be very hot, while the reality of it could be very stressful and traumatizing. This is especially the case with more intense fantasies and kinks, e.g., being kidnapped and fattened. Everything I write takes place in "fantasy land". Nothing I post is meant as a threat, actual encouragement for dangerous behavior or self harm, or other harmful behavior. Pleae keep this in mind!
Getting back to the criticism: Yes, I like the dark stuff. I am very intrigued by the idea of feedees getting fatter for pleasure, despite all the negative consequences that can come with weight gain and obesity. I also enjoy calling people out for it, both with mild teasing and with very direct "you're damaging yourself" claims. I know that this is not everybody's cup of tea, which is why I already tag all posts with darker topics related to self-destruction, severe health issues, permanent damage and even death with "#death feederism" and "#death feedist". This is also mentioned in my pinned info post under "My Content", encouraging people to hide these tags who are not into certain content I post. However, it is quite clear that this isn't a great solution – otherwise I would not be receiving these asks.
I am very open to solving this issue together. After all, it always has been my personal ambition to write and record content for your enjoyment and pleasure. I want to make you – the readers and listeners – feel good and excited. I don't mean to scare or disturb you with my darker fantasies and kinks that don't appeal to you. Nonetheless, I do enjoy causing "holy shit, this is really bad, but it just feels so good!" pleasure and horniness.
In the past, I occasionally made use of trigger warnings at the top of my posts. If I recall correctly, I did hide the main content behind the "Keep reading" button. This was not consistent, but I am open to generally implementing this for all future posts that include sensitive subjects, such as death feederism, consensual non-consent, heavy conditioning and brain damage, or severe degradation and objectification.
However, before I do that, I first wanted to recognize the asks I received and open the conversation by addressing these issues. I encourage you to share your thoughts on this with me in the comments, asks, or my dms. Please let me know whether you think the combination of a trigger warning and a "Keep reading" button is sufficient and reasonable. I will still be tagging my posts accordingly, like I've done in the past, so filtering through hiding certain hashtags will remain an option either way.
I'm looking forward to your feedback and ideas, thank you for the criticism! :)

Kalmia von Viradin
Summary:
[A confident yet pitiful girl who believes herself to be the perfect heroine. A hardworking student of Pomefiore with a well-hidden superiority complex, she adapts to peoples’ desires willfully to be loved (or at the very least, not hated). She acts in a range of personalities, all of which she believes are her real self. However, there are some parts where she hides permanently, which are things that she thinks aren’t suited for the ‘perfect female lead’.]
[An intellectual who shapes herself through the basis of romance fantasies (usually with some mentions of royalty and high society), she obtains a new goal when a foreigner descends on this world and steals the spotlight she worked so hard on. It’s not as if she’d ever fall to dirty work, of course. If it backfired, her reputation would plunge, and she never does things she isn't confident she'll be able to achieve. No, all she’ll do is help the new kid return home and do everything in her power to follow them.]
General Info!
Name: Kalmia Maury von Viradin
Nickname: Kami (which, ykw. she does have some god-complex like things. it’s fitting.)
Birthday: July 2nd
Pronouns: She/her
Sexuality: Bisexual (male preference)
Dominant Hand: Left Right
Hobbies: Reading, Learning ballroom dances, Singing, Baking, Playing otome games.
Likes: Buying pretty dresses, Romance fantasy books, The stars/space, Thunderstorms, Crabs, Apples, Rubies, Spookiness or Things commonly considered gross.
Dislikes: Being depended on constantly, persistent people who can’t take a hint, Uncute animals, stubborn people, vegetables, people too smart for their own good, people too dumb for her own good, actions that force her to be unfeminine, and- Nothing particularly. “I can like anything if others need it.”
Fears: People finding out her past.
Traits: She is very adamant on self-improvement to become the best female lead, is independent (because she likes taking responsibility for her own actions/dislikes getting played with) but also helps others as much as possible, has an elegant air around her (but anything else you feel towards her is something she made you see in her).
Extra Information: She’s not really good at art, Her hair is dyed white (to give an image of purity. Her natural hair is a brown with orange/red tones), She can run super fast in heels, She’s obsessed with astronomy (even if she doesn’t let it show).
"I’ll create my happy ending through love." Pink Filtered Vision: Kalmia's unique magic that she uses for new beginnings. It makes people lower their guards around her. This can make people not care about Kalmia at all if used too heavily, but Kalmia mastered it at an early age. When used, others see her as someone “good”, having them potentially ignore the dangers of answering her invasive question. Of course, it all pairs with her body language and specific words, but it's effective nearly all of the time. She has kept her unique magic well hidden, but she doesn't consider it a secret.
More about her under cut!!
Her Goal:
I’m the perfect heroine. I adapt flawlessly to my surroundings. I can play the part of a ditzy yet hard working girl who tries her best. I can act as if I’m not as weak as others think I am. I can be as mysterious or as innocent as others want to see. I can be the perfect heroine to everyone’s eyes. I can save them, and perhaps they will save me.
I practiced for years to get to this spot. I built up my connections and relationships brick by brick, with constant analysis to become who they liked, or at the very least, could tolerate. So that I could be universally loved.
That’s why it’s unfair. It’s unfair. Your grand entrance captured the most princely beings. The important male leads. It’s unfair that my hard work was overshadowed just because of your uncertain origins and connections built on circumstance instead of hard work. I could do the same thing if I was in your place.
If I was…
Aha. So that’s all I needed. If I can take the place of you… If I can make as grand of an entrance as you did…
And all I need is to arrive in another world. But a portal to another world? How could I ever create something like that on my own? And it’d be weird if I suddenly fixated on it.
I need an excuse.
“I heard you need help getting back home.”
You who took my rightful place. You who planted this idea into my head… I need Yuu.
“I’d love to assist you, darling.”
“So don’t worry, alright?”
- - -
A/N: ITS MY GIRL KALMIAAAAA!!! I didn’t write her backstory here bc that’s her fear and main trauma and I don’t want to expose her TOO soon.
With. like. 3 ocs w white-ish hair. ppl may think i’m obsessed w it. I can explain (i can’t).
I sorted her into Pomefiore because. like. i think that fit her aesthetic, first off, but she’s also she fits in with their self-betterment thing. Kalmia, however, abandons all self-preservation to attain what she believes is better for her. She maintains her weight through unhealthy dieting, and I KNOW that all that hair dye is NOT going to be good for her head later on (this is fiction though so let’s pretend for now). She’s aware that it’s bad for her, but she’s also the type to focus on the present.
She doesn’t really have anything to look forward to. She just wants to be saved with love.
Childishly, she wants a prince charming she can marry and live happily ever after with, but that’s as far as her future thoughts go. After all, what truly matters is how she’s treated in the present.
Fun fact! Vil hates (?) her btw. He sees Kalmia's efforts and acknowledges it, but he's disappointed that's it's misdirected and short-term. Kalmia abandons self-preservation for self-betterment. Vil wants her to do both. He thinks she's wasted potential. It's not like he's going to give up on changing her mind, of course. As long as Kalmia's in his dorm, he'll make her realize a couple things about herself.
Anyways, that's basically it for my TWST OCs!!!! Congrats on making it to the end (as of now) Now to expand on them!!!!!!! See u around!!!

Team RWBY's refusal to ask questions about the EA is even more frustrating when you contrast it with volume 6. Like these are the characters who were willing to violate Ozpin's privacy just because his secrets *might* have included info relevant to them (but they didn't know that for sure). But in V9, when faced with stuff that is *directly related* to the Gods and Magic, while Salem has most of the keys she needs to end the world, full worst-case scenario, NOW they're not demanding answers???
I think that difference really highlights how secrecy is what motivates the group in Volume 6, rather than self-preservation. Yang doesn't actually care about the danger carrying the Relic around may cause because, if she did, she would have been equally upset at Ruby choosing to carry it around Atlas. Rather, she's upset that Ozpin withheld that information from them. As you point out, they don't know going in whether understanding a) how the Lamp works and b) what Jinn has to say is truly relevant to their part (key words there) in the fight, but because Ozpin is, again, withholding that information, now they have to have it. Which on a purely human level I get because hell, who likes learning that they're out of the loop, particularly when it comes to apocalyptically relevant info?? But as has been pointed out extensively, that knee-jerk displeasure is undermined by considerations like how many secrets the girls have kept across the series, Ozpin's personal history/trauma, the danger that comes with more and more people having access to such information (as they just saw with Lionheart), and the maturity with which the girls want to be treated. Sometimes being an adult isn't having all the insider knowledge; sometimes it's learning the importance of accepting "No" as an answer.
In constrast, the girls are rarely shown to be intrinsically motivated in later Volumes. Volumes 1-3, and even Volume 4, are a different matter because back then they were asking basic questions (what's this White Fang group up to?) and taking action to discover things for themselves (something is going on at Mountain Glenn, let's figure out what!). Now, the girls not only demand the information that is explicitly positioned as a secret (they demand it BECAUSE it's secret), but otherwise do nothing to further their/others' understanding of important situations. Why would they politely bother to ask Ozpin anything now that everyone is getting along again (or wait until the very last second to learn something, i.e. how the Staff works)? Why would Ruby bother to have more than one conversation with Maria about her eyes? Why should Yang hear anything about their mother from Qrow? Why would they share the information with Ironwood when he's bending over backwards to be upfront with them? Why would they work to establish new allies rather than continually fighting them? Why bother to ask ANYTHING Salem related in the Ever After? Hell, I don't actually think this is a good idea because it would result in Jaune saving the day off screen, but it is wild to me that the girls not only spent all that time there, but he spent a lifetime in the EA and never took a few weeks to start hunting down Salem options on the off chance he got back...

how come you're a "Dante was never real and is a construct made by Angela" truther? idk nothing about that theory or why it's supported by dante's (heh) meltdown
It's not just the meltdown, it's the specificity of their rescue of aeng-du and the kind of lore we're getting.
dante is instructed to extract someone for information.
dante comes across aeng-du and identifies her as the person they need based on "gut feeling". they do reason that the basis is of their feeling is because of how the company tends to set them up, so the way my thoughts switch hard on this was a conspiracy theorist brain pretzel. My thinking is that they identified her because she was a book in the library, and it's why Dante specifically should be the one to pick her up.
aeng-du explains 2 things: the library and the location of kim. because limbus company already had information on kim, they wanted her extracted to get a firsthand account of the library.
iori was the one who suggested the distortion-centric fixer company, yet she is presumably the one who sent those people to kill dante, the presumed manager of a division of that very company. what gives? (my previous theory was that they stole a branch from her. <- LOL)
until this point it was kind of self-evident that the branch is giving dante freaky spacetime powers due to direct access to the Light. but we witness dante having a full-on meltdown. One thing that stuck out to me is the mundanity of it. The cast has either an intimate or a superficial understanding of everything Dante is saying. So why is it important? It isn't a crazy word slurry.
It sounds like they're reciting an eroded text.
And finally, the end of the story update, Vergilius mentions offhand that he himself is waiting for the lore drop; he is depending purely on Faust, who seems singularly responsible for the LCB, and what info she's deigning to give.
Overall, the update was about the mechanics of Limbus Company, from Acquisitions to After to Distortions, and what they prioritize; Distortions and information on the Library, which is the cause of distortions.
Conclusion?
Dante is a construct made by Angela. Constructs cannot leave the Library, but they are being artificially sustained by the Light present within the branch. They're a construct of a separate person, and the facsimile deteriorated due to the improper use of ■■■. The rewinding death function is also the core gameplay loop of Ruina; Dante is using that same process on their own crew. They resemble the Outskirts clock monsters intentionally; Faust - who is dropping anvil sized hints about being an ex-lobcorp employee - is a Librarian, and witnessed these monsters personally. Iori doesn't want Dante doing anything too crazy because they aren't real; there are not a wide array of universes where they exist. She would know them exclusively in terms of the purpose they were built for. This significantly thins the avenues of attack, and Vergilius would put a lot of faith in that, even if he's never been told why the fuck Dante is a free radical and is kind of annoyed and confused this is who he's working with.
I don't think this is a theory that explains everything, or even most things; who was Dante made out of (carmen without a doubt funniest possible option), what is ■■■ (may be library/도서관), what is the "aspect" Dante is trying to carve, how this helps the library, all of that is very ????. But isn't the tension delicious when you think about it that way.

IWTV S2 Ep3 - Armand as Unreliable Narrator
I'm seeing a lot of posts defending AMC!Armand against fans thinking he's lying or untrustworthy or something. I've seen people point out valid things like AMC's deliberate twisting / reckless disregard of book canon; to bad takes stemming from shipping wars; to personal preferences & biases.
My reservations against AMC!Armand go all the way back to S1, when we saw those floating bookshelves and sliced pages in Claudia's diary. I've long since been of the suspicion that Armand's not necessarily forcing Louis against his will or anything THAT nefarious; but that he's definitely been taking advantage of Louis' need for someone to help stop him from going off the deep end--and more importantly, that he's been taking more than his fair share of autonomy over things Louis does/doesn't have access to--specifically: information/knowledge.
For me, GABRIELLE'S absence is the most telling red flag. Cuz the writers know good & well that they want S3/TVL; Rolin never shuts up about it. It's not that AMC isn't doing the books so we don't need to expect it to be 1:1--it's that THEY ARE doing the books! They're planting seeds through deliberate misdirection & omission.
Gab's arguably the most important/impactful person in Lestat's life b4 he meets Louis. She's Les' very first fledgling. She's there when Armand kidnaps Nicki; she's there when Alessandra explains the Devil's Road for the first time (a scene AMC was obvs inspired by with Daciana in 2x1); she's there when Les leaves the Theatre; she's everywhere.
And what's more:
Armand hates Gabrielle's GUTS.
Gabrielle's "useless" to Armand, but she was EVERYTHING to Les, and most of his emotional damage & abandonment issues come from her. Armand KNEW to weaponize Magnus' suicide & Gab's lackluster treatment of child!Les as the best way to seduce him!
Armand, like Claudia, is DESPERATE for someone to want & need him as their #1.
Louis is pretty good for this--if only he'd hurry up & get over Lestat (& Claudia) already.
In the book!IWTV/TVA, Armand dumped Louis when Lou gave up on being happy & got way too depressed for Armand to help him anymore. But Armand really wanted Lestat. Cuz Lestat is CLINGY--he doesn't pack & up leave (ie: give up) without a DARN good reason--and it's mighty sus that Armand didn't mention that Les & Gab left him to look for HIS MAKER, MARIUS, cuz Armand didn't know ISH, and doubted Marius was still alive--cuz if he was still alive, why had ARMAND been ABANDONED BY MARIUS for all those centuries, left for dead with the Children of Darkness/Satan? 👀💔
Lestat is a carbon copy of Marius, down to the blonde hair, blue eyes, and red velvet. Armand's Louis' rebound of Lestat, but Lestat's Armand's rebound of Marius.
Louis is not the only vampire who lives in a constant state of denial/delusion, running from his fears. They are both exact opposites of Lestat, who confronts his fears head-on.
I'm becoming increasingly convinced that if Lestat IS asleep in the penthouse, Louis doesn't know--or he doesn't have all the correct info. Cuz Armand's been isolating Louis this whole time in their weird cage/penthouse, with its jail bars and floating bookcases. He is ACTIVELY AGAINST this entire interview; and he encourages any & all contradictory talk of Lestat being "dead"--
--so it makes sense that he wouldn't want Louis to know anything about Gabrielle, as that would be someone who KNOWS Lestat, and would probably know where to find him (IF he's not comatose in the penthouse somewhere).
So for Armand to leave Gab out and make it seem like Mama's Boy Lestat was this cavalier playboy who cared about nothing & no one but himself (as per Louis' words to Daniel) just smacks of a highly slanted angle, that even LOUIS is ignorant of--I don't think AMC!Louis knows anything about Gabrielle's existence whatsoever. 👀 Yes, "Lestat never told me ish!;" but clearly ARMAND never told him the whole story, either. 😬🤫🤐
Then, there's Nickistat....
Plenty of interviews/reviewers already said Armand's petty, so I'm not surprised that the Nicki info doesn't add up. First off, it's a great way to garner sympathy from Louis, and create a connection, and act as an effective stimulus for Louis' own unpleasant experiences being cucked by Lestat. If Armand can convince Louis that Lestat did to Louis what Lestat did to Nicki, it just makes Lestat look worse; legitimizing why Loumand is oh-so-much-better; which they're actively tryna pitch to Daniel.
But it's a risky gamble though, cuz it also puts Armand in the same spot as Antoinette--and we see how that went. 😬💀🔥 Only this time it won't be Armand who ends up in flames, but Louis, if AMC pulls a Merrick.
It helps that "Lestat never told him ish," either, cuz Louis CLEARLY has no idea that Nicki died--AND HOW. Lestat admitted that he & Nicki "parted ways," but if that's all Louis knows, then ofc Armand can tack on that Nicki was abandoned & hung out to dry--that Lestat was giving Armand money through Roget, not NICKI; that the Theatre was Nicki's, NOT Armand's--and neatly omit everything about what really happened: that Nicki was mentally insane, thoroughly hated & resented Lestat by that point, and was eventually tortured & killed BY ARMAND and his coven when THEY couldn't handle him anymore--a la PAUL'S treatment by the DPDLs.
Armand NEEDS to come across as sympathetically as possible; otherwise he loses Louis AND Daniel to this interview--only this time he won't be the one sitting back letting it happen.
For me, Armand's unreliable not cuz cuz I hate him--on the contrary, I've said 1000 times that he's my fave character in TVC; and Assad's doing an excellent job with him so far. But I don't trust him cuz I KNOW HIM--the fandom calls him a GREMLIN for a reason. I know the stunts he pulled in TVL (telling Daniel the Children of Darkness/Satan killed themselves, when in the book Armand killed them all (except for Eleni, Felix, and like 2 others IDER--they're all Rhoshamandes' fledglings IIRC). He's reduced Nicki's role significantly; making him seem like some desperate twink, while not mentioning how Nicki was half mad before Armand chopped his hands off & forced him to kill himself when he couldn't play violin anymore.
Armand is a MENACE in the early books, and he was originally supposed to be a main TVC villain before Anne Rice realized how much she liked him in QotD and toned him TF down--same way she did with Lestat's transition from IWTV to TVL.
THAT'S why Armand is both lovable/likable and also SUS AF. At least for me. I can't speak for other fans, ofc, cuz I know some folks approach Armand from totally different angles.

Faraway hidden details compilation/personal thoughts. (did my best to leave it vague bc spoilers for maigoen)
(exactly what it sounds like. There's a bunch of details in Faraway's MV that I wanted to compile. pls feel free to correct me in the replies for the kanji bit) (website used)
0:10, if you pause at EXACTLY the right time- the kanji 欺 is shown
欺- "deceit", "cheat'- Kanata (that's the MV's protag, btw) is a prankster and withholds important info just to see others reactions
0:16/ 3:13- the kanji's 蠖, 翫,備 and 鄂 are seen
蠖-???
翫-"Play" "caring for" "appreciating" "Toy"- Hinata (The panda toy with the unicorn horn) is a toy, but Kanata pretends he [it? idk] isn't. Kanata cares for Hinata a lot, i.e: appreciates
備-"Prepare"- Kanata is preparing for an attempt to leave with Hinata. (Could also be as in "planned pregnancy"??? probably stretching)
鄂-??
text at the end: "Thank you for visiting Uropia, our esteemed park."- Green flag that he'll live and leave the amusement park.
0:41- nothing to note other that these pink orbs are balloons :)
0:47-0:49- Kanata and Hinata are sharing a table. If you look closely, you can see both Hinata and Kanata have food in their bowls, even though the former is a plush and therefore, cannot eat (most likely meaning is Kanata lying to himself about Hinata sentience, although this could mean that his parent[s] are again, playing along with Kanata's behavior, pretending along with him that Hinata's alive and everything is fine). The image (besides the paintings in the background, the apples in the serving dish [idk how else to describe it] and Hinata) is actually mirrored, you can tell by looking at the tables you can see in the corners of the foreground and the serving dish. The flooring has the missing texture used in video games. To quote some dude on Quora that appeared first on Google search results:"The colors purple and black are meant to stand out to the creators to get attention of them to fix it" This means that Kanata treating Hinata like a person is getting him attention. However, nobody, in his family at least, is doing the "fixing" (helping him move on) part and turning a blind eye to the issue.
Finally, we see a large family gathering displayed on the center of the wall, but Kanata and Hinata are alone, sitting at a much smaller table. He's presumably at the kid's table, far away from his other family members, both emotionally and physically. In Kanata's eyes, nothing is more important than Hinata, and his parent(s) take no issue with this. (also said painting may or may not be referenced from the famous Christian painting "The Last Supper", since the other paintings are clearly referencing royalty-free Victorian paintings.)
0:53- You can see Lion (another character) being represented by an actual lion plush next to Kanata at the top.
Add-on 1- from 1:10 through 1:14, you see Kanata playing with Hinata with unopened presents surrounding him. This has a nice double (quadruple?) meaning. Of course, the first one is that Kanata is only really concerned about Hinata and nothing else is important to him, but also the presents could represent all of the people in his life who love him, and yet Kanata either ignores (that's why their unopened) and/or annoy. But kanata can always open the presents up (start having connections to other people than Hinata) but chooses not to because just having Hinata is easier than stepping out of his comfort zone. The gifts could also symbolize the truth, so Kanata wraps it up in a bow and ignores it (stay in denial about Hinata; everything is fine, Hinata is still with him.) The final reading I could think up is that the gifts could be a metaphor for embryo eggs, and Kanata was the only child of his parents to be successfully birthed without dying in utero along the way.
Add-on 2- At 1:29, at just the right time, you can see this (The text translates to "Stop, right now")
Misc/transitory scenes- you can see a mouth screaming. According to some JPN maigoen fans, it's saying "No, stop that!". It might also be screaming in labor (giving birth), which if you know abt maigoen's plot.... yeah.
Misc/multiple scenes- you can see crosses in the background on top of a mansion (I think? it looks too fancy and big to be a house.) This could mean that Kanata's family has a history of miscarriages/ stillbirths and Kanata was a successful attempt in a sea of failed pregnancies, since crosses are usually placed atop of graves.
Misc/multiple scenes- Okay it might be just me but when Kanata is placed in front of the ferris wheel, it kinda looks like a halo? Since halos can symbolize sacredness, maybe this is metaphorical way of showing why Kanata acts the way he does, at least a part, is because his caretaker(s) don't correct his behavior, since they see him as "a little saint who could do no wrong" (could also explain the mansion, his parent[s] spoil him rotten with affection. Him being the parent[s] only child who didn't die during/quickly after birth likely is the main reason for this)
Misc/multiple scenes- a censor box is placed in front of Kanata's eyes, which is way of showing that someone is presumed/ is dead. (might be Kanata and co. labeled as an unsolved missing person case since they went into Uropia that fateful day.)
TL;DR- Kanata is a Catholic.
#it was so hard to do this while trying to keep as spoiler-free for maigoen as much as possible I tell you#long post#hee hee hoo hoo#Kanata maigoen#maimaimaigoen#maigoen#まいまいまいごえん#okay should I put this in the tag for Hiiragi Kirai🧍 eh sure why not#Hiiragi kirai#柊キライ#faraway Hiiragi kirai#ファラウェア#did my best not to incoherently ramble/pos. for unhinged blabbering for Yuzuriha see my 'da askies' tag

Jungkook: Love-Bites (1)
In which the relationship between you and Jungkook is just something special.
Tags/Warnings: Dog Hybrid!Reader x Idol!Jungkook, DDLG themes, sub/little headspace, soft dom!Jungkook, fluff, minor angst, established relationship, based off of this ask
Chapter length: short
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You're dead asleep with your head on his thigh, arm held hostage as your personal cuddle buddy while the rest of himself sits comfortably, watching his TV show. It's in moments like these, after having bathed with you before dressing you in your comfiest pajamas, that he tends to remember how far you've come since he's taken you in.
Because years before, a scene like that was something he himself thought might never happen.
In the beginning, he'd worried a lot about you. He could see that you were interested in everything around you; everything in his apartment seemed interesting, and most of all, you seemed to want to interact with him and be close all the time. But due to what happened in your past home, you always only sat somewhere secluded, trembling with the inner fight of whether or not to do what your brain told you, or listen to what your past had taught you.
And for a long time, you would rather let your memories lead than him, trust misused to such a degree that you couldn't find it in yourself to give him any of what was left of it.
But he'd been kind, understanding, patient. He showed you that the world never had to be scary, no matter what headspace you're in. He'd proven to you that there's nothing wrong with you, that there's nothing to fix.
He'd created an environment for you to heal in.
Jungkook remembers your first meeting vividly. He'd sat in the waiting area of the ER for info on his bandmate Jin's accidentally broken finger when he first met you. You'd been hiding underneath the seats, and your caretaker had explained to him that you're simply a 'troubled case' with an embarrassed face.
"Isn't there a way to make it easier for her?" He'd asked, looked around for someone he could maybe talk to. "Maybe bring her into a more secluded area? She looks so terrified.." He'd mumbled, unable to look away from where you'd squeezed underneath the chairs. Jungkook had always been someone with a different view on hybrids- he never understood why they had to be treated as 'lesser'or plain weird monsters, when they themselves were created by humanity in the first place.
"Its fine, really!" The caretaker had said. "She'll stay here overnight anyways."
"May I ask why?" He'd wondered, noticing with a smile how you seemed to now crawl closer to him, interested- but still scared. With a clear gaze that told the caretaker that she should just talk to him and not scold you, he'd let his hand lean down for you to maybe inspect- his suspicions correct, as you take it as an invitation to get to know him on your own terms.
"Oh, behavioral problems. She seems to have trouble sleeping, but since she doesn't talk, we don't know if it's a brain issue or just trauma." The caretaker explained, surprised how easily Jungkook had managed to get you interested and distracted from your initial fears.
"Oh my, let's hope they'll figure it out." He nodded, before looking down to where you had started to look up at him. "Isn't that right? You should only have good dreams. Sleep is important." He explained, not even sure if you were able to understand him. But it seemed like you did, because while you didn't come out of your hiding space yet, you did keep your gaze on him mostly. "I'm gonna get something to snack on. Is there something I could bring you two?" He wondered, and the caretaker waved him off before leaning down to you.
"Would you like anything?" She asked, not expecting an answer, and you didn't give one. "Maybe you can walk with him, show him what you'd like?" She tested, and much to her surprise, you actually dud seem to consider it, looking at Jungkook's back then bare hand, no ink yet to be seen on his skin. With a smile he'd reached out-
And you'd taken his hand, letting him lead you to the vending machines, later on eating the granola bar sat on his thigh. It had all just somehow immediate felt natural to the both of you- as if you'd known each other already.
It wasn't surprising to anyone that Jungkook eagerly asked for contact information of the care center you had been staying at, uncaring for any consequences of the company or his career, only focused on you. He remembers the scolding he'd received from all sides, many scared he'd rushed a decision he's gonna regret in the future, others worried for the fate of his career if it was ever revealed that you even existed. And yet, he didn't back down. He knew what he wanted, and for the first time, he pushed through. This had been his decision, and he had been ready for the consequences.
And by now, he knows you're his soulmate.
You stretch in your sleep and turn a little, body and face relaxed as you dream softly- or maybe not at all. He enjoys watching you like this. Calm, comfortable, without worry. As it should always be.
Because with him, you don't have to fear anything. With him, you'll be safe.
He promised, after all.
And he intends on keeping that promise.

This is a writing question more than an ask but how do you handle lore dumps???? Your AU is so full of em and you handle them so gracefully. I’m here stuck on a chapter because my MC really really needs to have Information in order to Progress, but having Character B explain it to him is so tedious??? It reads like a rant!! I want the information to flow smoothly for readers, but it needs to be given all at once because it’s Plot Relevant. Any advice is a godsend 🙏
Well, 90% of my "lore dumping" is done via conversation to some degree—whether it be one character happening to be knowledgeable during a particular situation, two characters sharing a personal discussion with each other, or round-robin getting a whole group up to speed on a subject. It just never reads as a "lore dump" because a) there's also character dynamics being dispersed amongst the information, and b) there's more to the scene than just the information itself, even if the information is still the most important part. And that's still true even if dialogue isn't your go-to method for info deliverance!
All right, here we go, spit-balling rambles here!
You can still have Character B outright explain things to the MC, but to avoid it being "ranty", the easiest thing to do would be to have the MC react to what's being said to break up the monotony with how they're feeling about it, or even questions about what's being told to them. And having the MC asking questions has the added bonus of allow different ways for Character B to offer information, instead of going through the points like a check list. Character B could respond to points the MC brings up, questions the MC had the Character B hadn't even considered, the MC mentioning something that jogs something else to mind for Character B to bring up—anything that isn't just "MC, you must know this: [word words words words]". Make sure there's a push and pull, give and take with the information, rather than, well, all push or all give—THAT is what will ultimately help with your flow.
(...though I dunno if the characters are in, like a "time crunch"/urgent situation at this point in time, hence why Character B would be divulging everything at once in a bombshell rant—but if that is the case, at least you'd have the excuse for doing so! That being said, you'd have to counterbalance this by limiting the amount of info that's being given, because otherwise that's going to make the "ranting" even more obvious and harder for a reader to get invested in gfdsgfd)
And also, assumedly, your audience is learning this information just the same as your MC is—think about the questions your audience might consider about the lore too, and use the MC as a way to add those extra clarifications as well! I tend to use Kai for this a lot haha
Or, if you don't want to go the "direct" route via conversation/dialogue and want to switch it up, you could have a mention of the MC learning the info from Character B offscreen, then jump right to them either mulling over everything they've learned to themselves or someone else (flavored up by their own personal thoughts about it) or by them already putting the info into practice with some reflection throughout. This is probably a little less effective strategy for a written story than something like a movie or tv show, but if your first way isn't working out, try restructuring it like this anyway! If nothing else, you can reverse engineer what the most important bits of the info you really want the MC to take away in this instance in time (or at least what's most relevant for the moment/situation at hand), thus shortening the amount of time Character B has to spend "ranting" in the first place. Or, maybe it'll give you another idea of how to frame the information!
Also, try to give a reason for why this information is suddenly being shared right now (again, if this isn't some kind of "MC I have to tell you all this NOW before it's too laaaaate!" kind of scenario. Sure, there's always "you'll need this to progress on your quest" or the overall whatever else may be going on, but think on a smaller scale—what in the moment causes the topic to come up now?
For example –using my own story here because I wrote it and I know my own thought process lmao– Lloyd starts explaining about the Moon's Triad holiday in B2Ch41 because Acidicus comes to him with concerns for how the associated traditions are affecting the Serpentine's plans going forward. Miranda discusses how the Aftershock Ability functions to Jesse in B2Ch45 because Jesse's been trying to figure out why it happened to begin with. And Wu and Garmadon's whole discussion in B2Ch36 is mostly stuff that they both mutually know for the most part —yet is shared regardless for the audience's benefit—but to avoid falling into an "As you know" back-and-forth trap, it's also framed by Wu trying to catch up Garmadon on things he's missed, with their mutual information being used as anchoring context for Garmadon, so it's there for a character purpose as well. Basically killing two birds with a stone there.
Yet when the lore dump is large enough to warrant, like, half a chapter's worth of dedication *eyes B2Ch31*, sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and go all-in with an outright dump for utmost clarity—but that doesn't meant you can't dress it up or have fun with it! Like, for the Elemental Compass explanation, I literally have Jesse pull out a whiteboard and marker and make everyone sit in a circle to learn sjhgffd–I make fun of the fact that I know this is going to be a big chunk of info to take in for everybody, and using some of the techniques mentioned above, I'm able to break down all my main points I want delivered all while preventing Jesse from just throwing out text blocks in an unnatural, not-fun-to-read fashion. So, that could be an approach for you too!
Ah, how to phrase this...as long as there's dynamism in the deliverance of the information, that'll save it from reading as stale. Even if at the end of the day it really is just two people standing around talking at each other (or one at the other)—if there's action and reactions, emotions, an established point of it all to begin with (as opposed to sudden information for information's sake), and that push/pull + give/take as discussed, you should be able to get your point across in a way that's entertaining for reader's just fine~
Anyway, I hope at least even a sentence of this made sense and was even minutely helpful! Good luck breaking through your block; I'm rooting for you! ^-^)/

BION Information master post!! (abibaz oc)
real image of me after making all of this or something
hit the read more to get blasted with everything or something
HEADS UP!! THINGS WILL BE PURPOSFULLY LEFT OUT OF SOME INFORMATION!
I want people to find some things out through hints and clues hidden in art, so there may be a big chunk missing! Also, his story isn't FULLY finished yet too, so there will be a lot more to come. This post will (if I remember to) be updated along with any major art/information I make about him! (FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS TOO!)
BASIC NEED-TO-KNOW INFO
Bion and Bryne are the same person. Bryne is the person/version of himself when he was alive, and Bion is the spirit that remains after death.
I just wanted to clarify this as this can be something that is easily mistaken if you see me draw them at different times/in different posts, sense at first look they can seem like completely different characters.
In my interp of abibaz, it takes place somewhere in the 90's, so that is also where his story takes place.
BASIC LORE (quick/low effort summary)
Bryne is a poor-ish guy living on his own and looking for a job and in some way ends up applying as an IT guy for the school. He applies for this job because it somewhat relates to his huge interest in computers, and he is already desperate enough for any job so this place seems perfect for him so far.
Upon entering the school for the first time, he can immediately tell something is off. He cant place his finger on exactly what it is but it does raise some red flags for him. Even so, he continues on for his interview and gets hired yadda yadda I dont really know how to explain that part and its not important.
Though, adding to his suspicions about this place, he has to meet and be around Alex now. I dont know how to word it in a good way, but basically he thinks Alex is a massive freak.
As time goes on, he gets more and more curious about what is happening in the school. Kids keep going missing, if there is any at all, and the place constantly smells like iron and rot. Bryne tries to research about the school online, trying to find any documents or reports about the school, like possible crimes that happened or any leads on the disappearances, but keeps coming up empty-handed.
This leads Bryne into a spiral, he keeps trying and trying to find information, it just seems right out of his reach. He spends most of his time at work in his own classroom, in the back with his personal computer most of the time because of this. That computer is like a sort of personal companion to him now, with how much time he has spent there alone with it.
Alex is aware of Bryne's researching, and after a while started to have his own fun with him. Setting up red herrings and letting information slip as a way to reel Bryne back into a game he almost had set up from the start.
Anyways, as time goes on Alex starts to get bored of this, and decides one night to finally get some real enjoyment out of this.
He was ready. The clock seemed to tick exceptionally slow that day, there was nothing different about that day from the rest, all but that usual feeling of dread seeming to hang heavier on Bryne's shoulders.
Alex slinked into his room, looming over him just watching him before making his presence known. He just started talking to Bryne, placing a hand on his shoulder and getting close to his level. Bryne could sense that something was wrong with this little meeting of his, though he did this type of thing this one felt wrong.
Bryne started to head out of his room and to the exit doors, hurrying his pace as he got further away from his room. Though when he finally reached the exit, he found the doors to be locked. No matter how much he tried he couldn't get them undone. He was now stuck here, unsure as to why. He started to panic, Bryne had always been weary of Alex, and now his suspicions have been proven. He was stuck there with a monster.
Now, I dont feel like I have the capability or patience to write the whole next segment, but to quickly summarize it: Bryne gets fucking hunted and chased through the school, becoming exhausted and more panicked over time and ends up heading back to his room, then Alex corners him there and kills him by giving him so much blunt force trauma to the face through smashing his face into a computer screen. yay!
I will probably try and write it out better at a later date when I have it more clearly thought out and have the energy to
anyways, here is a quick demonstration of what that looked like:
really good mock-up i know right
Anyways, after this there is a week period(important) of time where he is dead, his body rotting away, semi-untouched. Bion apears within one of the computers as, well, him, and has to re-learn what it feels like to exist again along with his newfound unstable emotions and overall physical form.
He now has a hatred for Alex that burns brighter than the sun, and in simple terms is extremely violent over even the mention of him.
I'll add more onto Bion's way of processing thought and emotion later, but it is a pretty key part in everything he does. He is extremely impulsive.
MORE ON BION
Bion is a massive recluse, hiding away in his computer most of the time, rarely ever coming out. The computer is his safe space, leaving it even voluntarily causes him to get horribly stressed. The only times he ever fully leaves is when he is driven by an extreme emotion. (usually anger)
Touching him is most times lethal, he is electrically charge. Holding onto him or touching him in general causes a feeling of numbness after a period of time, intensity varying on his emotion and the time touching him. (it feels like when one of your limbs falls asleep, but a bit more painfull)
GAME MECHANIC
If Bion was ever added in game, or if I felt like ever attempting to mass mod the game, his mechanic would be to locate Alex.
He would be a (mostly) neutral character, helping the player by showing where in the map Alex is with a pop-up map. It would only be accessible in his room. Along with this Alex would be unable to enter the room at all, but he could just camp at the door and completely trap you, so it would be wiser to be quick while in Bion's room.
Bion's room is also located in a semi-inconvenient spot, near the end of a very long corridor with the only exit down that hallway being one of the rooms with a red key required door. (I'll add a map of where his room is later)
He also has the chance of being a hostile character too. If you provoke him with enough questions about himself, his past, speak of Alex, or bring a special item to him. Any of these will result in him killing you instantly, or becoming one of the hostile character that chase you in the game from that point on.
I also have an idea with him for an Easter egg ending that is related to his lore, but i have to do some more developing on it before I explain it to the public.
EMOTIONS (?)
Because he is a spirit now, his reactions and emotions are alot more raw and intense, causing him to lash out often or go into violent spirals. He is his greatest enemy. (other than Alex)
His most common emotion that happens is rage, appearing whenever his mind starts going down a path of thoughts about how he was wronged, and the monster that he was wrongfully made into.
His rage and his fear of new things causes him to become more of a recluse than he already was. He cant even go out of his classroom without being reminded of how he was made into such a beast.
Bion can still feel and react like a normal person, and is still somewhat the same man he was. Whither that is good or bad is for you to decide.
The way he comes off when not in any fit of emotions is more flat and mechanical, being inside machinery for so long has changed the way he talks a bit, becoming more formal and thought out.
ART + MORE
Here are my Toyhouse pages for both Bryne and Bion where you can find most if not all of their art, which includes lore art.
(lore art will be specified in the bio of the images, and you can usually tell because there is more effort in the details)
BION
BRYNE
ALSO, Bion has a twitter account! its mostly fun silly stuff, but occasionally there will be lore related posts!

dr3 please send help im so obsessed with jmah au but Specifically Box Au i think this is a Problem. box au is so absolutely crazy to me . imagine getting not one au but TWO AUS WORTH OF TORTURE 😭😭 do u have any more fun facts or other info u can give us abt it 🙏
HAHA god box AU is so nuts soooooo nuts
just checked my tag man I gave yall NOTHING didn't I ??? okay okay box AU information. once again, here are the main two posts about the premise of this AU, which is actually an extension and sort of "bad end" for my and kat's JMAH AU. In short, when jmah!Quackity takes over the prison at the end of the AU, the dominos fall so that jmah!Sam offers to let him visit Dream to get the revive book (like he did in the first canon timeline) in the prison to bargain his way out of the main cell. Quackity scoffs at Sam's attempt at a deal, considering the guy doesn't have any real leverage, but realizes that he needs to protect the prison from any Technoblade-related interference (especially because at this point Sam has spilled about timeline #1 and has either directly said that Techno was responsible for things going south with the prison the first go around in some kind of emotional or pain-driven rant, or Quackity has put that together himself) and that he can get much-needed Sam revenge by fucking with Dream. As a result, Sam is let out of the main cell, and Quackity tortures Dream daily much like in canon--only this time, he answers to no one, he's the Warden now bitch, and Sam is his shitty little janitor/mechanic/punching bag probably sometimes when he gets pissed the fuck off, which is often. Sam is allowed into the main cell post-sessions for only 30 minutes a day.
For Dream...it's a horrific betrayal. Worse than the first, honestly. When Sam first arrives in the jmah timeline a stranger to Dream, the emotional impact was kind of secondary to being suddenly thrown head first into the deep end of "Sam is unrecognizable, crazy as fuck, and probably about to actually murder me" -- in canon, c!Sam's whole deal at the beginning of the prison is still sudden, but at least there's some sense in connecting Sam as Warden to the man he was before. With a year's worth of context missing, Dream is honestly too busy what the fuck-ing to process how badly he's been betrayed by Sam. No frogboil, this time -- just the alarm of Sam building what ends up being a torture machine on day two (2) of the prison. On the other hand, the last year of his life has been spent playing catch up, having to make sense of the man that Sam now is Or Else. He has devoted everything to figuring out the rules to abide by, mathing out what makes the Warden grimly satisfied and what makes him give into sudden and alarming violence. Sam at the beginning of Dream's prison stay is a stranger, but by the end he very much isn't one, and it's the Sam that has become his whole damn world that sells him to save his own skin.
That being said, it's still just Sam. Quackity's visits are. Well, they're not pretty. He doesn't have to answer to Sam, this time, and is actively against the idea because jmah!Quackity REALLY REALLY hates Sam. Dream is angry at first, because of fucking course he's angry, he was sold, he's utterly fucked, Sam broke something unnamed but fundamental between them, every time he's left bleeding out it's because his Warden let another man own him--but at the same time, there is nothing else. Nothing else. Quackity is barely even in this for the book, honestly--what's more critical to him is 1) revenge and 2) the power of having control over Pandora's Fucking Vault, and both are kiiiinda dependent on using Dream against Sam but not really about Dream. The book would be a great cherry on top, of course; he has zero love lost for either person here, but what's most important is Making Them Pay.
Sam, therefore, is actually in a really uncomfortable position, because the reason why he proposes this deal (and his mindset as he proceeds through this time period) is that he doesn't actually want to be on opposite sides from Quackity. He killed Q, but because he was a security risk, because he had broken into the cell because he was going to take Dream away -- Sam hasn't exactly mathed out the fact that his complicated ass camaraderie with Quackity in canon is COMPLETELY in ruins in jmah's timeline. He's working on a plan to get the prison and prisoner back into his control, of course, but he wants to believe that the current situation is controlled and sustainable, just a different name for what had been the arrangement in canon--even though, y'know. That's absolutely not the case.
The way this works is largely that Quackity more or less visits daily to torture Dream (but unlike canon, he's not exactly beholden to any kind of Sam timekeeping or pedantics on the schedule or hemming and hawing about visitation) and then lets Sam visit for 30 minutes a day to patch him up. Otherwise, Sam's job is to reinforce the prison from Technoblade--something where he and Quackity are actually on the same page, so Sam is definitely working on that, but he's also trying to rig things up without Quackity's knowledge to get control back of the prison pwetty please. Quackity definitely keeps Sam in one of the other cells when he's not around, for obvious reasons. Sam keeps trying to appeal to him and honestly probably gets punched and shit for it LOL. LMAO. It's a strange and unsettling dynamic for Sam, who has seen something so similar to this before but not quite the same--he's still patching up Dream after sessions, but he's hesitant to ask him to give the book up to Quackity, who has made it quite clear that Sam will see hide or hair of the damn thing if he gets it--nah, he'll just kill Dream and Sam can have his old room, how about that? He's coaching Dream on how to respond to Quackity.
He knows that Dream can endure a lot. It's been an obstacle for so long, but here it works in his favor--he'll get control over the prison and prisoner again, soon. All he's asking from Dream is to endure it--and he already knows that he can.
Quackity isn't barred from permanent damage in quite the same way as he was in canon, but it takes awhile for Sam to really grasp the implications. Here's a post delving into some of the details about the way that the torture progresses--in short, Sam tries to cling to the cope that he and Quackity are on the same side, it's not all that different from the first go around, he can make this work without having to choose one side or the other in a super definitive fashion--until Quackity drives him to the edge and he recognizes that his options are to kill Quackity or to lose Dream, and we all know what happens when it comes to that ultimatum.
After Quackity dies, the dynamic changes quite a bit for Dream and Sam again. Quackity takes Dream's leg, Sam only barely manages to keep him alive through a failsafe he'd installed in his old dispenser system, Quackity dies in a pretty bloody fight with Sam fueled by pure Dream-related desperation and little else. The cell is...a wreck. Sam had been pretty adamant on keeping it more sterile than the first go around, absolutely hating the mess that Quackity and Dream were responsible for, but he's hardly had the time to clean the thing in his half an hour granted for him to do everything he can to keep Dream from bleeding out before Quackity arrives again. His perfect system has been tainted with layers and layers of grime and blood and viscera--Quackity has taken to shit like writing on the walls with Dream's blood, at least in part just to fuck with Sam (Sam tried to have A Conversation with him like he would've in canon about the state of the cell, and Quackity does nawt appreciate Sam's acting like the Warden, especially when he no longer has any power to back up the posturing.) And for Dream...Sam betrayed him, yes, but more recently and more importantly--Sam saved him. Sam protected him. Sam has brought him somewhere light and soft and clean and is telling him no more Quackity, ever again, you're safe, and isn't reacting violently when he behaves erratically and touching him gently and his leg is gone he can't fucking run and Sam saved him.
Sam is around Dream...quite a lot, after all of this. He's um. Well. Clingy, honestly. Being so far removed from the prisoner, what was happening to him, having zero control, often not even being allowed to supervise the visits from the atrium (unless Quackity wanted him there, in which the visit would've been So Obviously a show to fuck with him)--it really was his worst nightmare, in many ways. And Dream is dealing with like, a month or so of horrific trauma on top of almost a year's worth of Sam-related conditioning, and now Sam is being strangely nice and lenient and he's in so much less pain than he's been in a very long time. It's not the best mixing pot of mutual mental illness and codependence and intimacy...at all. Aha. (the c!awesamdreamons get. A LOT WORSE.)
(And well...in canon, there are a lot of reasons not to give up the revive book. There's the plan, the fact that the book preserves his life, the fact that there's no confidence in Quackity for sure or even Sam's investment in keeping Dream alive. Only here, Sam's deal has been so singularly wrapped around Dream much moreso than the book--the book had been a frequent part of interrogations, yes, but so was Tommy, and Ranboo, and the TNT on the prison, and Technoblade, and so on. Here, Dream has suffered through a huge blow to his confidence in the idea that he'll ever make it out, knows that Quackity is pretty damn okay with killing him regardless of the book...knows that he's been sold once before. In the early delirium of being saved by Sam and needing to do something, anything, to make sure that the last month won't happen again--in the reeling from losing his leg and the grappling with the idea that even moreso than he'd already begun to think through JMAH, that he would never make it out of the prison, never see anything but these obsidian walls again--in the knowledge that Sam has lied to him before, pulled the rug from under his feet before, that any and all kindnesses from the Warden were so dependent on what Dream was able or willing to sacrifice, and the fact that he therefore can't be sure that the threat of Quackity is actually gone for good...it's a lot of strain, and the concrete reasons to give up the book are a lot less solid in this scenario. So.)
#my asks !!#box AU#the box AU awesamdreamons are next level im ngl the specific order of events all play into its development into . wellll#WELL#long post#tw torture#tw mutilation#tw maiming

Good day to you. Can I ask about some characters? There wasn't much information about Glenn, Maleeh and Alto, but I was really wondering if there was anything you'd like to tell about them? Anything, really. For example, What was Glenn able to do with Neverhood's limitations? Do his ideas usually end up as blueprints for the least feasible inventions? And I don't know what exactly to ask about Alto and Maleeh - there isn't much lore about them as far as I remember... but it would be interesting to know more!
Hiii welcome back to another episode of recalling what ive created several years ago! ::D anyway, you're right and there's a severe lack of info in my writings abt OCs other than Shuffle because of his crucial role in Crowns and Revelations story. I'll try to recover something i thought over though, so here goes.
Glenn is the more well-thought character out of all others i guess, mostly because of his also important role in CaR (yeah most of my OCs get development because they end up in a story and it progresses around them and forces them to do something). I mentioned that he's some sort of local Da Vinci and this also meant that a fair lot of his ingenious stuff ends up on paper as either blueprints or written ideas, all that. However he doesn't give up and whenever it's possible, he works on a way to simplify the constructions so that they may be implemented with Neverhood's resources - that being the spaceship he built that Klogg and Klaymen used for space travel. It's a very simple version built with scrap essentially, and still it persisted throughout theit whole journey there and back.
One funny thing about Glenn is that he likes to invent stuff but doesn't want to be a creator in a sense of Hoborg's status. It was mentioned in CaR summary that Hoborg talked to Glenn about passing the crown to him in case of need, and Glenn declined saying that he doesn't want to be a creator, rather a builder. The thing is, it mostly takes Hoborg to think of something he wants to create and to have the materials needed, but for Glenn the joy of building is essential. That's also what Alto thinks about the process - this is what they were both born with, a passion for constructing. However Alto is more of a handyman kind of guy, he's among the strongest Hoodians and it helps him greatly while assisting Glenn. In return, Glenn tries to teach Alto some of the basics he uses for designing and building his creations, and they've developed their own sort of language that others don't really understand. Like, a nerd and his loyal assistant, in their own world of inventing.
Maleeh is probably closest of all Hoodians to my own personality and i think he's my window into that klay world. As mentioned, he's a stark contrast to Shuffle but he also is his best and probably only true friend - Shuffle doesn't talk much to others on personal matters. Maleeh is a pretty friendly one but not overly so; he's polite and lighthearted towards everyone at first sight and may change his behavior as he sees more of the newly met person. However one of his greatest flaws is inability to be idle, to do nothing or to think about nothing. Whereas Shuffle puts all this into something he find useful, Maleeh thinks less of the work and more of the leisure but when there's none, he's practically dying of boredom. His mind suffers from idleness and that's why he's happy to go wreck any sort of (peaceful) havok just so that his mind will be occupied. It's something he shared with Shuffle and tried to overcome to a degree, those efforts aren't futile but the process requires patience. Maleeh isn't a fool but also not a genius, and also is kinda naive about certain things people around him do; he was the first one to be attacked by Klogg on the Pin Island as he brought the man food, believing him to be somewhat docile and have no bad intentions. He was also very reluctant to believe that Shuffle indeed did the prohibited and put on the crown, even though it was the last-ditch effort to help Hoborg anyhow; it came into a violent conflict with his perception of Shuffle and he spent quite some time coming to terms with this.
Also worth mentioning that in the worst case, if none of the four space travelers hadn't returned from the trip to Klay Mountain, Maleeh would've been the first to vouch to help Glenn build another spaceship and venture into space even blindly - just to try and do something about this situation. He hates just idly waiting and often wants to take action, but most of the time there's someone who can handle the situation better, so he just stays on the sidelines so to speak. In a worst case scenario, he'd be the first in line for the task. Glenn on the other hand wouldn't venture out into space even for testing out his own inventions - he's terribly afraid of getting lost out there on his own, and at the same time he doesn't want to put anyone else's life at risk by coming together to assist him (Alto, for example). So Glenn is more than happy to let others test his machines, if only that's out of free will. Good thing Klogg didn't know that Glenn doesn't test his inventions himself.

omg forgive me for using your askbox as a dumping ground for my rant but you're one of very few people with common sense so I'm sending it in anyways feel free to ignore or delete 🫶
as someone who's been in the mogai community for three whole tiresome years and who has also been heavily involved in communities which literally engage in child exploitation (as a victim LOL I gotta clarify 😭😭) there's a lot of overlap even if some people refuse to admit it
like is it emiko rei asano from the real hit show I Dressed Up As A Drop-dead Gorgeous Model for a Day and My Entire Class Fell In Love With Me?!?!'s fault that predators would decide to target them for their typing quirks and the way they present themselves? no, absolutely not, and it never will be. but is it still relatively their responsibility to make sure that what they're doing doesn't genuinely border on ageplay? yeah, I would say so, because if as many of them are involved in sfw age regression as they claim they should know what's commonly in those sfw communities and what's typically only limited to ageplay—yet they don't.
if you dance around in a landmine field, eventually something is going to explode.
a really common tactic used by child predators which I'm gonna like explain super briefly and avoid giving too much info abt is that they expose people to explicit things under the guise of it still being sfw, and gradually move on from there. if you are a predator and you are entering the editblr community all you need to do is scroll through an anime list, pick one, pick some shitty dividers from canva to slap onto a character and add a psd coloring to it. it isn't that difficult to talk in third person ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡, it isn't that difficult for your one and only idol to start dming u abt how cool && awesome ur work is and how they wanna get 2 know u better ^–^ none of this s××t is difficult to replicate xD
and I'm not saying it's their fault if a predator comes up to them. but I am saying that editblr puts a large focus onto fake personas that everyone holds up no matter what, and a lot of them are all-knowing goddesses who are meant to fear nothing—so what happens when you mix that with someone who knows how to use that to their advantage? an explosion.
I'm not gonna sit here and claim that everyone on editblr is pedobaiting or predators because most of them are lonely afabs with no irl friends looking for a safe community they can reside in and be seen as cool. and that's fine. but when you worship a 15 year old and treat their work as if it's the greatest thing to ever touch the tags.. that is going to cause issues. that could potentially cause disorders, or at least traits of disorders which cannot be "fixed" or "cured", for lack of a better word, without a fair bit of therapy.
teenagers are easy to manipulate. lonely teenagers who don't get attention from anyone other than one community are the easiest, because they'll go all the way to get what they want. and when they go too far, get ostracized from the community and end up alone again.. it opens up more opportunities.
I wholeheartedly believe that the emphasis on the personas, the layouts, the typing quirks, the aesthetics and the most important aspect everyone tries to live up to, perfection, will cause the downfall of the community.
I do also think it's funny that everyone is caught up on the dyslexia thing considering half the people in this community are faking disorders and saying slurs they can't reclaim just because nobody will question them for fear of being attacked but uhm that's a different personal topic !! btw for a group all abt acceptance they certainly do hate it when people aren't white or "japanese" (you know fully well why that's in quotes) .. lol .. kinda funny how that works !

What do you think about the take that there's no freedom of religion in Fodlan because there's a woman who worships a foreign deity in the abyss?
More or less the same thing than the take about Colonel Sanders being jailed in Garreg Mach because Rhea wants all those chicken tenders for herself.
More seriously,
Bar Claude speaking with his ass, and apparently Leonie being worried that the Church might be crossed with Claude mentionning he's not religious - even if in Leicester it's pretty much known far and wide that the nobles adopt a pious font for PR - I prefer believing the words of, you know, the CoS officials aka Rhea and Seteth on that matter, the CoS's doctrine - at least for the Central Church - doesn't forbid practice of other religions or faiths.
The Western Church being xenophobic most likely would be pissed at, say, random duscurian person worshiping Duscurian gods, but as for the central church? They, just, dgaf.
Now, in the Abyss, there's a pagan statue - from a Dagda deity per Shamir in Nopes! - and a woman praying there, who was apparently harassed for not following the Seiros faith.
But... if freedom of religion was banned :
1/how the fuck this 20 meters tall statue managed to be placed in Fodlan's Vatican's basement without anyone noticing
2/why Seteth and Rhea, when asked, said they don't impose the Seiros faith on people
3/why Leicesterians are allowed to be "pious for show" if religion was so important?
As always with Fodlan, we have some things told by several characters who are playable/talkable in the base game (tfw Seteth mentions how they don't force people to worship first in FEH, and then in Nopes, but nothing in FE16 + Cyril's supports that no one bothers to read because fig him I guess and ultimately they don't matter because Claude can't look like a clown in VW) and they are contradicted by either, flavor text, screening through various lines of hidden dialogue or, flat out, lines said in the gacha or the musou spin off.
Now, about that Dagdan woman, why was she in the Abyss, aka, a CoS shelter ?
Because she worships a different god and that's frowned upon by, uh, the very same church that shelters her? And this church gives her a place to worship her deity?
Or, if we take clues and connect dots from two astral planes, could it make more sense that this person ended up in the Abyss because she was Dagdan, and from Shamir's backstory we know Dagdans aren't that beloved by Fodlan people, after their multiple attempted invasions of Adrestia? Dagdan Woman must have looked for some shelter and found one - as for where or who put that statue here, I can't guess, but given how the Abyss is a place for people who cannot live at the surface without being picked on/harassed/threatened, I suppose the purpose of that statue being there was more in the lines of "as long as you're here if you want to worship your god you can do so" and less in the lines of "I'm so not tolerant at all that I will create a space in my holiest place where you can worship your god, because i hate other religions than my own".
If there is a general point to be made about "freedom of religion" in Fodlan, it's more about the lack of reliable (so, no Claude and his "I'll smash open the land and get rid of its backwards values unless I go to school") info about how tolerant the various countries that compose Fodlan are, and how some people from the CoS aren't on the same wavelength as Rhea and Seteth are.
Do they have some sort of responsability in this matter? Maybe in their hands-off approach to let the regional branches preach what they want or not adopt a stricter control on what is being taught but the game - and most likely that take - isn't bothered by all intricacies of how to conduct a faith/religion, otherwise I'd call a double standard over the CoS being BaD because they don't tell Father McRandom from Leicester to stop making randoms believe they can't have faith in other religion than the Seiros faith, but not calling out Ionius on not acting against Hanneman's brother in law when he fucked his wife so much that she died, or Lambert for Matthias keeping a kid as a hostage, or Claude's Uncle not frowning at Gloucester killing Raph's parents (the nopes retcon notwithstanding).
#anon#replies#it's still wild how we had to wait for Seteth in FEH and Nopes#to finally have some church official deny the 'wah wah church bans other religions uwu'#Cyril and Shamir are ignored at large but to get Seteth's POV about this was nice#and Rhea's got hers in her Halloween alt and later on in Nopes!#takes that reek of projection are this fandom's woes lol#and of course the biased narrative because Supreme pandering for her and her sidekick#FE16#fandom woes

Now headcanons for Mello AND Near after
First a little info dump:
After Kira case Near visited Mello's hospital and gifted him flowers (yellow roses -represent hidden love OR friendship… but Near isn't aware of this). He said words that Mello will never forget: "I knew we will work together in the end". That hurt Mello a lot and he started questioning his own intentions and goals, getting into year long depression after case.
They were separated on that time, hardly knowing anything one about another. However Mello knew Near took a next case only week after kira case was finished. Mello knew just a little bit about the case
It wasn't way to hard case when it comes to detective part expect that it was completely corrupted case and that Near didn't want to go over his ego and brainwashed sense of life, getting himself in nearly life treating situation
He get in conflict with very powerful people only to not step over L's name and prove justice. For that he was taken to the raid, because it was known where his SPK (Više was no longer called) and a group of armed bandits broke into the building and beat Near almost to death
These bandits were a part of one very strong mafia that is mixed with the ruling parties in America and some hidden organizations. Near's face was showed off over internet and the idea was to destroy L's name forever
Near remembered to call Mello for backup help by making a clever excuse that he is not the real L, which interested the hounds who invited Mello to come to the planned place. He was sent a picture of a bloodied Near nearly beaten to death and threatened that if he didn't show up in a few minutes, the boy will be dead
As someone who knew Near his whole life and respected him, this was the biggest shock Mello ever experienced. He went into a complete confusion and madness, focusing mostly on saving Near as he did managed to do
They run out of country and hide in a far away land
This was incredibly important situation for both of them and their bond become extremely strong since then. Near was aware of that and get totally freaked out
It's a weird situation how they managed to get outside of country back then to only find out that L actually faked his death and that is somewhere aware of things that they couldn't even dream of (they were with Matt)
(I changed death note a lot and create whole story by myself)
Now they were forced to hide and live a completely different life then they ever imagined, close one to another, in exile (They weren't only hiding from mafia. It's a long and big story I won't talk about now)
This was a perfect atmosphere for these two to develop unwanted feelings
Near never thanked Mello for saving his life
Mello and Near pre-relationship headcanons:
Near's life is completely destroyed. His fiction of eternal peace and sterile security disappeared. Now he is at start developing a slight form of depression and existential crisis.
Near always knew that his feelings about Mello always existed and that's why he always kept on safe distance and saw him only as a business partner
After Mello saving his life and that sudden connection, Near knew that nothing will be the same and that is what scared him the most. That's why he choose to isolate and 'heal'
First he analysed his feelings by putting himself in relatively safe experiments of how he will unintentionally behave around Mello. Results of tests were devastating as he realized he is falling for Mello on romantic level
They were in such situation that they were supposed to live life like normal people and this was the first moment for Near to see how Mello acts in his private life. He saw how Mello seduces people and plays around, he saw how he dances, he saw things that were forbidden for him to see
Near fell so badly
He imminently discarded the callousness theory and focused on solving the immediate problem. His ultimate goal was to, with a good strategic game, fall out of love with Mello and manage to find personal peace, returning to his old, disciplined life.
He also analysed Mello and found out that he is also in love with him but that is unable to accept it on rational level
Near used his advantage in knowledge and began to make the first moves. He isolated himself, turned off all contacts except those that were absolutely necessary
All that went well and he wasn't suspicious at all. On that time Mello went in a stormy relationship with a girl to escape his feelings for Near. He was very confused by Near's very strange behavior and sudden change of tactics so that he was now avoiding him while he his whole life was circling around him and trying to get him on his side
However Near never answered Mello's questions no matter how hard Mello tried to make him.
Mello found new tactics for making Near speak, finding out that physical contact such as grabbing his shoulder or even better, pulling him towards the wall somehow works the best
When Near didn't see Mello in real life he started dreaming of him and fantasizing. Biggest plot twist is when he started having wet dreams of Mello for first time in his life. It destroyed his next whole year
Near completely get out of hand. First he tried to distract himself from Mello, and hide possible signs, later on he realized he cannot really hold back his emotions the way he wished for as he couldn't hold back his thoughts.
Near was yearning for Mello so badly that he become a total horny mess. The more he hide and push it away, worse it would get. That's how he started using pills
In that period Near was so much abusing pills as he couldn't stand living wish such mind of his, in a mess he never wanted. There have always been two choices. One, manage as best you know how to survive these dreary days of your own arousal and hormonal imbalance and live the rest of your life normally or enter into a relationship and destroy your life with the person who is the most irrational person in the world
Of course second one was equals death, so Near chose to survive day by day as best he knows how
So in third month of this mess, he get sick and nearly died because of what he have done with his body. However with good medical intervention he managed to get out of hospital after two weeks
Mello never knew how much Near means to him until that moment. He was doing all that was in his power to get Near's exsplanations
The more Near run away and act weird, more Mello would hunt him. This sudden mystery all after what happened between them made Mello seek for Near more then he ever wanted
There is something that changed in Near and Mello could sense that. Not only that but in Mello's eyes Near appeared older and somehow so much more attractive
And actually physically Near grew up and changed, from little boy now to a beautiful young man. Mello never knew how much he desires him until he pulled him towards the wall
Now he is never there, always somewhere away, and this distance created between them made tension almost unbearable
Mello always knew that nobody is quite like near and that no matter how many times he get in relationships with other people there will be always something missing
He still was completely bling about his feelings for Near on rational level. He hunt him but would never accept that fact. Even if it was so obvious
As a tactic to run away from Mello Near get in relationship with a woman that was actually fake. As that woman was nothing else but Near's personal therapist. This shook Mello to the bone not only from jealousy but also from questioning- he never knew Near could actually get in relationships
After Near being in hospital and these chaotic days of Near's horniness that nobody knew about, Near become extremely cold and repulsive towards Mello
After all that confusion and mind games, Mello choose to give up and get into serious relationship with a girl he really likes for months now
It hit Near so hard that he fell into the next identity crisis of re-examining what his true intentions are and what he wants with his life. He thought he wanted to run away from Mello, but he realized that it was completely impossible. That was a big defeat
He hated to be leaded by his emotions, he always lead his emotions even if they were so strong. He went to convince himself that everything is fine and that he wants this but he get that his life however get completely crazy and after all this if Mello goes with some random ass woman, he will literally have to end his life.
So out in rush, not knowing what to do, overthinking to much, scared about his future, Near run away not knowing where he is going getting out of safe place where L leave them
He was catch quickly and just the moment he went away Mello break up with his girlfriend. Near return back and finally accept that he can't really live without Mello
Then come the times when Near started accepting himself more. It was very fun. He still wasn't happy about it so he drink a lot secretly. On that time he had to show off his sexual desires on some way so he started going out with other boys. Listening to music. Fantasying. And all that meanwhile hiding with actual strategies like hiding a murder
On that time Mello slowly also accepted his feelings and started to understand that he likes Near, finally. It's very tough for Mello to accept
Leter on they will finally start flirting and get in relationship. It will be most passionate, shocking match recorded in history. Both of them burning in need one for another, however stretched from all sides from childhood traumas, to personal principles, confusions, a particularly spent life, beliefs...
Fuck me no one will read this long.. anyways this is the shortest and shittiest version, a sort of trailer of my perception and own story of these two. I hope you enjoyed

I read (you'll whisper, serpent tongue) what you fear you have become and as usual I have to make it some poor soul's problem.
Hi, it's me and I'm the problem, I know most anyone that follows me is either here for Goyuu or morally questionable shipping content but there's being such a lack of interesting content for me to talk about and paired with my lack of energy, it's been pretty difficult...until I stumbled across this fic in the Goyuu tag here on tumblr. The title gave Hogwarts au and the synopsis gave 'All That's Left of the World' (which if you haven't read go ahead cuz all I remember is that it warmed my heart so much as my first zombie apocalypse bl).
In addition to this intriguing combination it was also rated E for 'Either they fuck nasty or nasty shit happens' so it was definitely up my alley. With all the stars aligned and my interest piqued I went over to ao3, finished it I one sitting and I'd like to say...I'm a slightly different person now. I'll explain but make sure to read for yourself before continuing as there will be spoilers and before you leave to read be aware there is smut...
AND IT'S BOTTOM GOJO 💔
Did that turn some of you off, yeah that's how I felt but trust me the fic is genuinely beautiful and heart-rending, and though I don't give a fuck about what dynamic others choose to enjoy, I DO have a problem with authors not tagging their shit. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE TAG EXISTS AND IS READILY AVAILABLE.
Anyone who knows me from Twitter knows I take my dynamics very seriously in shipping and I, some others, have sort of sense for these kind of things. First set of pictures instantly lit up in my brain from the post I found it through but I brushed them off as reading into too much. The second set went off while I was examining how Yuuji was described and spoken of, especially through Gojo's lens, as it's the exact same way someone would write about a shorter top. I can't explain it but there's definitely a tone to it. I went back up, re-checked the tags, nothing.
No dynamics tags, which isn't as egregious as fake dynamic tags but I still feel very cheated. I know some authors do this, especially when writing for less popular dynamics but even if it's for like a surprise factor or not spoiling, it's still in itself a bit disingenuous. Not only are you making it hard for ppl to filter out what they don't want to read but you're actively making it hard for bottom Gojo enjoyers to find your story in a sea already mostly cluttered with top Gojo.
Nevertheless I'm not here to nitpick shipping dynamics or tagging because I'm aware there are authors who believe caring about dynamics is stupid or unimportant, which no, it's important but that's like another topic in itself. I simply skipped the sex scenes which hurt cuz intimacy in the plot of these kinda stories really gives something extra to the flavor.
If you enjoy multiple dynamics and can or have read it, I'm jealous give me your brain. And if you haven't read and no longer feel the need to cuz you don't want anything to do with bottom Gojo that's fine, to each their own. I definitely know if I'd seen a bottom Gojo tag before I started reading I wouldn't have opened it but I got invested and wanted to see the end.
(side note it is kind of crazy though cuz they tagged everything sex or kink related but not the dynamics which sure whatever, I'll get on with the review on why I enjoyed it now.)
We open up in a world that's the Canon universe but 1000 years later cuz that's when the cube thing chooses to spit out Gojo. I don't know if there's a Canon reason for it being 1000 ýears or if the the author made it up but I'm not that overly excited about jjks magic/power system like the dudebros to care. I'm here for daddy Gojo, Sukuna-oniichan and sweet baby boy Yuuji, make of that info what you will.
Gojo pops out of the box 1000 years later and the world is a mess cuz just like the avatar, he vanished and came back but the difference is everyone's fucking dead and curses are everywhere. Thing is, not everyone is dead.
Yuuji, our most precious boy is still alive and most likely the most powerful being alive thanks to absorbing Sukuna who was killed by Kenny (read to find out, I am not explaining cuz thinking back to it makes me so fucking sad.) There's this one part where Yuuji talks about how it is being without sukuna even tho they hated each other.
Of the many things I enjoyed about this fic I do have to say it's amazing how raw and and painful the writing is. There's a lovely blend of humor, hurt and emptiness in the conversations that Yuuji and Gojo. Pain, regret, loneliness, fear, it's all there building up to a kind of angst I haven't read and felt in a long time.
Another beautiful thing that's explored is one of the biggest 'what if' in the series. I'm guessing this was probably written before Gojo's kit-kat ad of a death in the manga and tho now, we have leaks Gojo being alive (probably) I read this before the leaks. What if the world had to move on without Gojo Satoru and the curses won??? I think the way this fic answers that is very interesting and unique but so close to canon it's feels strangely believable.
I enjoyed reading Yuuji's rendition of all that happened, tho I got lost a bit but once again, I'm the problem. I do not read jjk so my knowledge is limited to what my lust addled brain retains from the anime and the leaks that happen to pop up on my timeline. I do not know wtf the Angel is or how they are tied to Gojo's unsealing and no I don't want to be spoiled.
I don't remember any fic that's brought me so close to tears before but at the end, when Yuuji tells Gojo to actually kill him this time because he doesn't want to be left alone again when he eventually outlives the other (Yuuji is a curse now btw), I literally wanted to toss my fucking laptop. You start and can't help but expect some for of happy ending or optism now they're reunited but things only seem to get more complicated. Yuuji is still Yuuji but so different, Satoru's guilt weighs heavy and tangible through the screen and though it's short and trust me when you finish you will feel it's way too short, you can't help but feel you've spent the months and centuries beside them.
This is what I hinted when I said it gives ATLW vibes, the joy of discovering hope only to have it dashed as you move on only to find some dim lights fraught with uncertainty later on.
As for the end, I think it's well executed, open ended, sad and a bit nostalgic. I'd like to imagine after a few years together Gojo does kill Yuuji but ends himself immediately after because he can't stand living without him. That or he remains alive to start his own form of punishment for never being there when the world, when Yuuji, needed him most.
This kind of feels to me like the alternate universe that modern Yuuji dreams of in lainebee's reincarnation fic I'll open my eyes. Yes I've caught up, no, I won't be talking about it soon, all I'll say is fuck Naoya in every fucking fic I read, I do not know who this man is but I dread when I'll have to in the anime.
Back on topic tho, I think this is something any Goyuu reader should definitely give a try if they can handle it. I don't have a lot of influence but my post do tend to get out there sometimes so please don't go into the author's comments to chide them, don't be weird, I've given you enough warning.
That's all from me about my first and only bottom Gojo fic lmao, I watched a couple other anime I feel like talking about soon, 86 or Black Clover, not sure which I'll talk about first or if I'll just make another Goyuu post lol. Bye <333
