Okay, I can't believe I have to make this post, but no one is entitled to the shit I post here. I can block whoever the fuck I want. And if I wake up tomorrow and I feel like deleting this blog and taking the supercuts down, I can. It's my blog. It's my work. I run this blog on a no strikes allowed thing, I am fucking tired, if you annoy me, I will block you. If you make me uncomfortable, I will block you. You wanna get mad, turn around and send me hate when blocking you made my inbox drop by over 70? You're just proving I made the right choice by blocking you. it’s so funny like there are just some opinions that to me are wrong. because they are quite literally challenged by canon or require illogical leaps to make true. and anyway thinking some opinions are wrong and some opinions are correct is just how opinions work. and some interpretations simply do not have supporting evidence. even if they did it’s not policing to believe otherwise and post about it in your own space. if you enter someone else’s space to tell them that they are incorrect and then say Well you aren’t allowing me to think what I want! when you receive pushback. that is kind of on you and not on op for believing you are wrong. sorry.

Is really starting to give me an ick is how much emphasis people put in huge age gaps on this site. Like all trends that get too trendy here, when everyone used “cunny” or “gummy walls” but this time is just an uncomfortable age gap that people make sure time and time again to say how much of an old man this character is (and he’s like 35, not that old) and how the reader is such a tiny, baby,innocent, jailbait, coquette, love pink she’s so innocent near this old man having to nearly use a cane to walk around. It’s just getting gross.

ik im like known for getting Really Mad at ppl who go against fandom etiquette but theres one exception to this rule and its to never say anything negative about a free media cause

1. certain media such as mcyt may be free sure but theres an undeniable amount of influence And money if they set things up properly that creators can benefit from

2. ive seen spaces that adhere to this rule really strictly turn into toxic cesspools where everybody is afraid to speak their mind thanks to harassment

3. i just dont think anything is above critique, i mean sure be reasonable about it like for example commenting on a fanfic about how you dont like something that is purely subjective is a bit much and quite frankly really rude but in general to say that you can only say nothing but nice things about something implies that its ontologically perfect and i dont like that

you can say it the hater in me but not really, im perfectly capable of hating in private, i just dont like spaces im in turning into an echo chamber thats all

Seeing people say that we shouldn’t be shipping the Mouthwashing characters or making memes about it makes me wonder what they think of other horror media fandoms.

Like Fear and Hunger, which I argue is way darker than Mouthwashing, has a pretty silly (I mean this very affectionately) fan base from what I saw of it so far. And I haven’t seen many people making a fuss about shipping the characters there either.

I’m sorry, I might just be pulling a whataboutism here, I’m only just genuinely curious about it. Ultimately I think it’s all just down to personal preference. Some like to engage with the total darkness, and that’s ok! But there are people who can enjoy it if they bring a little light in.
