♡ hiking.

könig’s true home that he loves going back to is the one by the mountains. yes he has a large apartment in germany for convenience but his heart is always in that old house in austria where he grew up. the one in the mountains where not even google maps reach, where the road to his house is half hidden by a large bush. if he comes home during summer he will wake you up before dawn and hurry you up the mountain to watch the sunrise together. sometimes if you’re too sleepy he will carry you on his back on in his arms so you two can make it. summer sunrises are his favourite and you almost always spend the summers and autumns in his childhood home.

♡ his grandmother.

the file in the nursing home says she’s ninety five but from the dates in the pictures könig has shown you shes way above a hundred. and you can see why people believe her words. she is indeed old but she has way more life than the other people staying there. you asked him one day why does she stay in the nursing home instead of his house and he said thats where she wants to to because all her friends are there. könig asks for time off work every autumn to spend time with her. (youd think hed be way more lenient with catching sunrise during hikes because shes there but lmao the old woman nudges you with her cane so youd wake up faster. he gets the hiking gene from her apparently.)

♡ hunting.

because kortac doesnt let him be a sniper, he picks up hunting to scratch the itch. still very bitter because he knows he’s at least a sharpshooter, and expert with more training. mans has more knives in his basement than you have in the kitchen and can skin any animal with scary efficiency. he would share some game with the neighbours and come home with whatever they have. honey, fruits, or other types of game that they caught.

♡ handholding.

he is extremely clingy, and would just hold your hand no matter the occassion. sometimes pouts when you need both hands to do something. one day you squeezed his hand to show extra love and he squeezed back. so you squeeze his hand harder to show more love. so he squeezed even harder and you would end up in tears at the end from all the laughing. he would love to just do more than handholding out in public but he doesnt want bad rumours to surround you so he keeps the PDA to a minimum. the old couples around town secretly waits for you two to get married.

♡ so many plants.

he has so many plant babies that he babytalks when he gets home. when you wanted to prank him with the “creating a harsh and traumatising environment so my plant can grow big and strong just like my parents did for me” he gasped so loudly because he didnt think you know about plants!! and how this is good for them!!

♡ der tatortreiniger (the crimescene cleaner)

he cringes at the awkwardness, gets secondhand embarrassment from the interactions, and groans at how schotty’s unprofessionalism mirrors his own sometimes but loves the conversation happening throughout the series and the friendships he built along the way. mans comfort show tbh, knows lots of trivias about the show. watched it so many times he recognises the extras if they appear in another show.

♡ knitted sweaters.

just like ghost, he chooses comfort over everything else but prefers knitted sweaters over hoodies. buys local or from small businesses. he knows they use better quality yarn and takes extra care of them in the making. if you can knit? better. if you start learning knitting???? for him????? he’ll cry you a sweater of tears.

♡ bunnies.

gigantic bunnies. those flemish giant rabbits that can be as big as a sheltie. one of his uncles saw his growth spurt and just gave him one when he was young. two peas in a pod immediately. inseparable. he was heartbroken when he had to leave the little thing to join the military. even more heartbroken when he came home one day and his bunny wasn’t there anymore. he picked up a giant bunny again when he sees you cooing at some normal sized rabbits at the fair, and now you are three peas in a pod. the bunny would run towards the front door and then flop on its side the moment könig comes home.

♡ ointments.

mans old. come on now. he might be your little meow meow but dudes aging. bones not crackalackin yet because of all the excercise he gets. but he old. at least one joint has to be fucked up because hes always the first one to come into a contested room. on bad days, usually when its cold or when it’s raining you can see the discomfort on his face and you get the ointment for his broken joint. sometimes you sing a little while doing it to lift his spirits and boy it does. would pick you up and spin you around immediately after you set the ointment down. you’re his light, and he loves to see that light shine.

SUMMARY: Your boyfriend, Rafe enlisted the help of Kie and Sarah to find you. They aren't prepared for what they find.

Enough

You can barely walk. Your chest feels both too tight to inhale and too heavy to exhale. Your skin burns from the layer broken and bleeding. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Still, you could walk into the Killdare County Police Station and you know any statement you make will be flipped to make you the guilty party. So instead, you manage the distance home, walking inside well after your broken curfew two days prior, without a parental worry as it has been drowned in Valium and Vodka.

It aches to move and yet you can't stand the sight of the blood splattered clothes or dirt beneath your nails. Any makeup that you had on has since been cried off and you long for your own bed.

Only everything feels tainted. You feel like you still have eyes on you as well as a threat hanging over your head.

Why are you doing this?

Because you aren't good enough. Not for my son. To be friends with my Sarah. Or to take my name. You're all the same and I won't let you take what's mine.

I just want to be with Rafe.

If you don't stay away from him, I'll make sure he stays away from you. I'll send him off somewhere so far away you won't even be able to Google him.

New tears fill your eyes as you climb beneath the shower's waterfall. You brace on the wall and see the blood color the water at your feet a rose hue until it is all washed in all but your memory.

You don't sleep tonight or the ones that follow as you ignore those you love to keep them safe.

KIE: don't make me text Rafe, Y/N. Everyone is worried about you. Call me!

SARAH: Rafe is even more unhinged than usual. Did you two get in a fight or something?

RAFE: Baby? Babe! ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE!

You can't pay for the foundation to cover what Ward did to you in the same way you can't face your friends. You feel sullied and it makes Ward's words true. You feel undeserving and close yourself away hoping if the bruises fade so will the overwhelming heavy that is slowly crushing your esteem.

"OPEN UP!" Rafe demands as you leap up from your bed and see him at your window. You sprint for the fact you can't let your parents find him here because of Ward hates you it is nothing compared to the loaded shotgun your father has waiting for Rafe.

"Rafe-" He climbs inside, pacing with his fingers through his hair.

"Why the fuck haven't you called baby? I have been everywhere and then I thought maybe you just didn't wanna see me anymore and it made me crazy." He rubs his eye with the ball of his hand. "And then Kie tells me you haven't been at work and I know you're the responsible one between us so something had to be wrong and-" Hearing you sniffle calls his eyes to you.

"Baby?" He sees you cover your face with your long sleeves. "What...what happened?" His brutality dissolves to only care as your face is between his hands. He gently rubs your cheeks until slowing all admiration as you wince against him.

"What happened, baby?"

"Please Rafe, I need you to go."

"My girl is black and fucking blue, I'm not going anywhere!"

You look over your shoulder towards the hallway where your parent's door is only a few down from yours.

"Please, Rafe."

"Did he do this?"

"No!"

"Then tell me. Nobody hurts you and gets away with it! Nobody..." He pushes his forehead against yours and footfalls down the hallway drive your hands against Rafe's chest.

"Please Rafe, I need you to go." He climbs back out the window, waiting for a explanation. "And don't come back." Your words stun him as you cry yourself to sleep. Your heart has forever been intertwined with Rafe and now it feels like it was untethered from the roots and blended until left in ruins.

You are sick.

You are tired.

You feel desolate.

A FEW DAYS LATER

Rafe comes into The Wreck as Kie rolls her eyes.

"I know she doesn't want to talk to me but I need to see her. When is her break?"

"She didn't come in today."

"Again?" Rafe sighs. "Who hurt her around, Kie?" Kiara's eyes widen, surprise validating this is the first she's heard of this.

"I don't know what you're talking about...Is she okay? Was it one of your meatheads?"

"Nobody would hurt her. Everyone loves Y/N."

"Everyone?" Her brows raise.

"What do you mean? Spit it out, Kie..."

"Maybe there's someone she tries to impress that no matter how hard she tries, is never enough for? A specific paternal figure?"

"What?" He glares.

"Your dad, Rafe. Your father is horrible to her." His eyes fall and his fists form.

"You-"

"What are you doing?"

"Shit!" He hits the surface of the bar, drawing attention he ignores. Sarah comes in with intrigue to the scene.

"Where are you going?"

"To get Y/N..."

"You found her?" Sarah asks with hope as Kie is already tearing off her apron.

"No. But I know Dad rented a boat this morning and said he had a meeting..."

"And?" Sarah sighs.

"What meeting of Dad's do you ever remember him getting up at four in the morning, packing gloves, and without taking you or Rose?"

"You think he took her?! But why?"

"We're wasting time! Let's go?" Kiara pulls them outside where Sarah's car is waiting. They speed through town and get to Tannyhill to find the boat and all evidence of Ward, gone.

"Where is he, Rose?" Sarah asks as her stepmother sips on her mimosa and looks towards the dock behind the plantation.

"It's for the best, honey. Just let them talk."

When Sarah realizes her pleas are silent, she goes to Wheezie instead. Her younger sister having heard a conversation with a memorable address pays off as she kisses her on the head and they travel to the private docks. Enlisting JJ to help as a diversion, they get inside with his dramatics, until they come to an empty dock.

"What are we doing here?" Rafe asks in frustration, "They aren't here!"

"Waiting for a ride." Sarah waves as if signaling for rescue as a beat up tin can for a boat comes to dock.

"It looks-" John B glares as JJ finally joins the group.

"Is it too late to toss him overboard? I hear Kooks make good chum..." JJ mutters loudly as he is ignored, although Kie smirks at his comment.

"It's for Y/N." Sarah reminds everyone as they set for the water.

"Where are we going?"

"It can't be too hard to find them... Dad has a flare for the-"

"There!" Sarah calls as a large yacht is spilled sideways, taking on water.

"Y/N!" Rafe calls to you as you keep your head just above the surface of the flooding cabin. Hands bound to the fixed railing, your calls are drowned out by the sounds around you.

"Sarah! KIE!" You hear John B before the sound of water being stroked comes towards you. The threat of water comes beneath your nose as you take a deep breath and wonder what will be the reason for your end.

The water or your broken heart.

"Got her!" JJ calls as Rafe tears him out of the way and dives into the narrow passage to free you. Using his own pocket knife, he cuts the plastic ties used by his father before he takes you in his arms.

"We have to get away from this boat. When she sinks, she's taking us with her!" Kie exclaims as Rafe doesn't let you go for even a second as you rest against his chest, sputtering water and tears.

"Rafe..." You choke.

"Shhhh baby, it's okay. You're safe."

"But Ward..."

"I know. He won't get away with this." Sarah interrupts. "We'll make sure if it." You take comfort in the conviction of your friends, knowing you can trust them.

"I'm sorry Rafe. I was trying to protect you. He said I wasn't good enough and I-" Rafe silences you with a quiet kiss that is a way to stabilize himself to not react in anger. You feel the tension leave his body as your hand comes behind his neck.

"Can we make a no pogue-on-kook macking rule?" JJ winces as Sarah and John B both say "no!" in unison.

"You are good enough. You are enough, Y/N. I'm never going to let you question that again, baby. But right now, just focus on this." He tugs you against his chest and you agree. You feel enough in his arms, surrounded by your blending of friends, and the serenity of your home makijg a beautiful sunset backdrop as you sail on.

Whatever is to come you know you'll endure together.

And that, for you, is enough.

nobody can directly be linked the tweet anymore because viv privated her twitter, but if i remember correctly, when the dire gentlemen made a video on her with the title being the question of, "why did helluva boss fall off so hard?" after exes and oohs dropped, viv made a vague tweet about it. and off the top of my head, she said something along the lines of, "professional writers dont shit on other writers work publicly. professional writers know better," because the dire gentlemen themselves stated that they were professional writers in the video, or maybe because theyre publicly known to be professional writers based on that video where they critique lily orchards writing tips. i even remember someone else responded to that tweet and pointed out that she consistently doesnt take critique well publicly, and she said something in response like, "i can handle critique just fine. i just find it laughable when other professionals do things like this. its funny." it mustve stung for viv, because they used to make videos praising s1 a lot, not realizing it was because of brandon that the writing was as good as it was, and not because of her, if her heavier involvement in s2 is any indication. i mean, they REALLY didnt like the circus, and that was all written by her. anyway, hope someone has a screenshot of this tweet, because i certainly dont! i'll look on chaifootsteps blog for it, but i dont think he has it since people just sent in asks about how immature it was of viv to do that, not with a link to the actual tweet itself to my knowledge.

you mentioned the viv/sam/skye livestream signing being lost media, and really, the only way i can find anything about it is through chaifootsteps archive. because if you go back in oct under the "viv stuff" tag around when the signing was on the 26th and 27th, you can at least find anonymous asks summarizing the stream of people who watched it when it was still available. one anon described it as awkward, other people mentioned that viv said she straight up doesnt like octavia, and theres even a screenshot made by a val stan where they show a clip from the stream, where the creators state that the reason velvet wasnt apart of the vees ending song in the finale, is because they didnt have the budget for her voice actor at that point. this would also line up with the adam discord screenshot of him asking people from spindlehorse, instead of bento box which isnt working for them at all anymore to my knowledge (but we wont know for sure until hh s2 drops,) to work on the finale hazbin s1, along with pretty much only cleanup artists posting their work for JUST that episode, and not anything else from hazbin to my knowledge. chai even tried to post a tiny url link to an archive someone had of the stream when it was suddenly taken down a day later, but if you try it now, it says that the media youre trying to download doesnt exist, or something along those lines. (i couldnt download it when it was up though, both my computer and phone freaked out when i tried,) the way i see it - why would they hide a livestream where their diehard fans got to interact with the people responsible for their favorite cartoons, and then take down the archive of it? (because who else would?) why hide anything AT ALL if theyve nothing to hide? the whole thing is very suspicious, but also makes me very grateful tumblr is still a website with a pretty solid way to look back in time compared to others.

This whole thing is very suspicious. Viv was hyping this stream up and has a playlist for it on her channel. I do not think she was planning on deleting the stream originally.

I found the recap post you mentioned. The stream was done around when the transphobic discord messages were bought up again. She would have disabled the live chat replay feature instead of taking the whole stream down.

but i really, REALLY hate it when i see aichi sendou fanart where they make him so... childlike...? idk what the pc term for it is but yknow like hes made for the shotacons and it genuinely makes me frown. which, this is a fictional character yes, but man does it upset me that its the majority of the fanart of him available.

like, sure you're drawing him in the earlier seasons as a young boy and thats fine but i think theres a really REALLY big gap between drawing a child and drawing... whatever the hell i see when i look up aichi sendou fanart on google

but its important to remember that some of these fanarts - if not most - are from an older time, but that doesnt mean that there ain't anyone making it anymore. so when it does eventually pops up in my feed i genuinely cringe

gods especially with kaiai/kaichi fanart where he's drawn as a little child in comparison to kai. like. IM AWARE they have very major height difference in earlier seasons but again theres a difference between height difference and turning aichi into a 5 year old im afraid

which is why i love a lot of tumblr artists for drawing him the way they do, a way where they don't shotacon-fy aichi

ao3 exists, plus it doesnt even matter what terms i search for on tumblr 100% of the time theres fanfiction. literally you can search any words on this website and some kpop guy/ reader fanfics flood the results every single fucking time. plus some of us are not here for fandoms??? your circus/clown analogy is stupid

So I'm incredibly allergic to shrimp-- to the point where if I ate a single shrimp I would die, to the point where I don't really consider shrimp food anymore--and it's the weirdest thing, yesterday i went to Target to buy hair conditioner, and they were selling shrimp. Don't they know it wasn't what I was looking for and I can't eat it anyway? Why would they do this? Totally fucked up of those shrimp catchers to try to poison me like that.

But analogies clearly aren't your thing, so let me break this down for you.

AO3 does indeed exist, but your suggestion that fanfic live there and ONLY there is akin to saying that imgur exists, so nobody should be posting images, whether they be photos or art, on any other website. Twitter exists (sort of), so really nobody should be posting shit posts or hot takes that are fewer than 140 characters or whatever.

Not everyone uses AO3. There is no law saying that if you write fanfic, you must post it on AO3 and nowhere else. There will never be a law that says that, because that's not how the internet works. Tumblr, one of the few social media sites that allows longform blogging, is in fact a great alternative to AO3 for one-shots. It's a little trickier for multi-chapter posts, but I've seen people make it work.

AO3 is not social media. People can't DM there, send asks, make friends, bump their post to the top of the feed (unless they are an asshole who is about to get blocked by half of fandom for pulling that move). Do you like social media? I mean you're here, on tumblr, bothering a total stranger, so you must see some value to it. Guess what--fanfic authors also enjoy being on social media and sharing what they've been up to, including their WIPs.

Things you aren't looking for being part of your searches is literally just life on the internet at all times forever. Earlier this month I was looking for a reference of draped fabric for drawing purposes. I googled 'chiton drawing' (chitons like the ancient Greeks used to wear), and all I got were drawings of molluscs of the genus 'chiton.' Alright, I did a google search for "toga drawing" and learned that there is an anime girl named Toga and people very much enjoy drawing her. Were the artists of the molluscs or the anime girl to blame for me having to slog through a bunch of irrelevant pictures to find one that could help me with my drawing? No. They correctly labeled what they were doing. That's just life.

Seeing fanfic in the tag doesn't harm you. At all. It doesn't matter if you find it cringe, or it's a ship you don't like, or it's xReader. For like ten seconds you looked at words you didn't particularly like, and then you moved on. How is that different from literally any other post on tumblr? If you really hate seeing fanfic, tumblr has content blocking and tag blocking. You can block the phrase "x Reader." You can block the tag "fanfic." You can block all sorts of things, and if that doesn't work, you can just block the writers whose existence annoys you.

Sorry man, you personally not liking fandom and not using tumblr for it has really no bearing on what everyone else is doing. Like it or not, tumblr is a hub of fandom, and fanfic authors are going to be a part of every fandom on this green earth. depression meds dont work so my psychiatrist prescribes me effexor, doesnt tell me any of the symptoms so i google them and find many MANY stories of people saying they get terrible withdraw symptoms within a day or hours of forgetting a dose, I bring up that I can't start it because my ADHD (which she knows I have) makes it difficult to remember my meds on punctual time every day, and my psychiatrist is all "Well 🙄 if you dont want it then how about you google medications and choose one yourself"

and I go "fine I guess" and do that and the new med i choose doesnt work and next time my psychiatrist is like "I just feel like a failure because we've been working together for 2 years and I havent gotten any med to work with you" and I end up comforting HER about it. Then at some point NOBODY calls me to schedule my next appointment and I dont realize because of my terrible memory and I end up being stuck without my meds for a whole MONTH (which im SURE would have been just amazing if I was on effexor like she had prescribed). This doesnt even mention the times she invalidated my struggles with autism, denied that covid still exists and why I'm worried about it, and left old refills on my prescription of lower doses i dont take anymore so I end up still paying for those. I'm so annoyed but I can't change psychiatrists for fear that my dad will just not help me get a new psychiatrist at all like he did with therapy for me

so its like one day you decide your gonna stop using social media. and now its been a few months all your still jobless and havent worked a lick on your personal projects but now your not looking at tumblr anymore. and then one day your dog sitting for a few days and you think eh why not lets browse tumblr again, im away from home its not like i have anything else to do. and all the people you followed have kinda scattered like ants but theres still some left. and whats left of all those weird tumblr trans girls u remember fondly are posting about being therians deer therians dog therians. and you pause cause like what the fuck is a therian. its the first time maybe your whole life where weird internet subculture words are already boiling instead of slowly heating up around you like they used to. and your like wow its great im disconnected from the internet and im still jobless and personal projects yada yada this is what being offline is all about. and since your not one to judge weird internet subcultures you google what this therian stuffs about and its about thinking or wanting to be an animal in spirit or something and you think oh its just kinning. and your confused for a moment. if its just kinning why not call it kinning? but almost as soon as you ask this question you realize that you havent seen someone identify as kin with anything in years even before you went offline. but you bring it up to a friend whos still using twitter and they kinda get what you mean but they only really remember the markiplier jokes kind of kinning so to them it feels different. so then you think well okay isnt it also just what being a furry is. but again before you finish that thought you realize well your a furry and you dont usually think of yourself as an animal so sure i guess theres probably major overlap but its different. so now kinning a rabbit online is called being a bunny therian and it doesnt really matter, your just not used to being out of the loop, and your mind wanders. you think of final fantasy house. you dont really remember what terminology they used back then but its the same. you realize its just kinda a big circle where people keep coming back around to realizing they wanna be an awesome animal. and even without the internet your still jobless and even without daily tumblr even without logging in and blogging about being a therian you still fantasize about having really big soft pawed feet so you could give really awesome foot jobs.

googling like "my mother treats me like a child" or wgatever just brings up like ppl talking abt their mothers not wanting them to grow up or not giving them enough freedom which is a valid problem and one i have but it is a completely different problem from the one im looking for information on which is that i am a 20 year old man and my mother babytalks at me like a four year old on a regular basis. its drivng me fucking crazy but i dont want to argue and she wouldnt listen anyway she'd probably just be like "i dont do that" which .okay. but like holy fucking shit it is SO annoying and demeaning and WEIRD.

and like i can handle it when she treats me like. a teenager. like whatever im 20 close enough i dont care. but when she treats me like im 10. or 7. or fucking 4. its like. what the fuck is your problem.

and like okay i was thinking abt this the other day bc i was talking 2 my dad like just hanging out and he was treating me like a Person and like. idk i feel like when he had kids he was Expecting and Excited for us to turn into little people with our own thoughts and free will (maybe not the transgender communist thing i think that was a bit far but he's always been supportive in terms of like. me being my own person otherwise).

and my dad volunteers at church with some of the kids like 9-12 age range, and a lot of them have rough home lives and 'act out' cuz of that and he's very patient with them and helps them with what theyre going thru and generally just acts like theyre little people. because they ARE little people. like he genuienly cares for those kids and is always like... taking them to the park and stuff but also like, being character witness for their parents' custody battles n shit like actually helping and suppotying them.

whereas my mother volunteers at church with babies and toddlers and its almost like she sees them as pets. and will complain abt them being annoying or MEAN if they cry or dont want to play with her. like she's nice to them but she will complain abt it as if theyre trying to spite her

and i feel like she didnt become a parent bc she wanted to raise a small human i feel like she just wanted a pet. and shes been better with my sister but when i was a kid the second i was like 6 and developed some free will she kinda like. Moved on from me LOL. and stopped caring abt me outside of like. buying food. wire mother type shit. idk it's just really obvious that my dad cares abt these kids as people but my mother cares abt them for only as long as they dont upset her or do something she doesnt want them to. if that makes sense

and idk its like. i am 20 years old. im not going to go back to a 4 year old with no sense of the world outside of u because I AM TWENTY YEARS OLD. I HAVE LIVED ALONE IN SCHOOL I HAVE GONE TO THE DMV I HAVE WORKED A JOB I HAVE DEALT WITH MEDICAL EMERGENCIES ON MY OWN . i have had to make my way through every single social problem and mental health problem and shit since i was SIX bc thats when she stopped giving a shit about me. im not a child anymore

but i think its also part of why im so fucking bad at Being An Adult. bc she never taught me how do to any of this shit bc she was busy pretending im still a little kid. and now im too anxious to figure out how to do things on my own and i dont know how to ask for help and everything is very overwhelming and she tells me she wants me to get a job but doesnt help and she acts like she wants me to leave but she doesnt tell me that or help me leave and i am SO FUCKING SICK of living at home but i dont have the money or the skills to get out

and she's NEVER helped me with adult stuff either . the only thing i can think of is when she took me to the bank bc i needed her signature to take her off my bank account . otherwise my dad has been the one to help me with college applications + college stuff in general + finances + jobs etc etc . whereas my mother ACTIVELY LIES TO ME ABOUT THOSE THINGS TO TRY TO STOP ME FROM GETTING MY OWN DEBIT CARD !!!!!!!!!!

and it's this fucking exhausting mix of signals where she's like "u need to get a job u need to learn to drive u need to do this and that" but also she Literally , not exageratting , treats and talks to me like i am a child . i am so fucking sick of it it's unreal . i am going to lose my fucking mind .
