It's disgusting how often cis-trans allyship hinges entirely upon how "passing" the trans person is, as if fitting into arbitrary beauty standards somehow makes them more or less of the gender they are. Conditional allyship isn't being an ally - it just makes you a judgemental bigot.

maybe this will stir up unwanted controversy but just a friendly reminder that shipping a canonically aroace characters with another character and then making them do sex or be in romantic relationships (depending on whether or not they are just aromantic or asexual), is erasure of our sexuality, and is the equivalent of shipping a canonically gay character with the opposite sex.
not pointing fingers but there are many characters who are not ace or not aromantic. do your romance and sex with them instead.

Serious post, but apparently it needs to be said.
This post is in reference to lgbtq+ stuff as a whole, not just asexuality.
Someone's sexuality is none of our business.
Say it with me guys
Someone's. Sexuality. Is. None. Of. Our. Business.
Doesn't matter how famous they are. Doesn't matter if they're a good person or a bad person.
Doesn't matter who they're dating or not dating.
Doesn't matter what they look like.
If they don't share that information, then:
Do not pry
Do not complain
Do not ask invasive questions
Do not accuse them of queerbaiting despite not knowing what their labels are if they have any
Do not send threats
Do not make assumptions or guess their sexuality
Do not force them into coming out before they want to, if they even want to.
And the list can go on.
Let people be who they are without being harassed for not sharing that with others.

At the beginning of the full scale invasion I really thought that the Hetalia fandom would be super unbearable with making war-related fan art but it’s been surprisingly tame give or take a few artists. Still not a huge fan of the eastern slav sibling art but at this point it’s too late to get rid of all of that. Most people won’t care.
But there seems to be an epidemic of Russian Hetalia artists making nationalist art with APH Russia………… gross. They’re the only ones making art like that. And it’s usually artists who will be like “One of my favourite characters is Ukraine too!!!!! I am a good russian!!!!” while they plaster their page with nationalist russian Hetalia propaganda. Like so far 99 percent of all of the art I’ve seen even slightly hinting to the war has been Russian artists. And it’s really insensitive and also proves everything we say about how awful Russians are.
Just because you posted art of Russia and Ukraine being besties to promote “peace” does not negate the post before that where you drew soldier Ivan with a bunch of Russian flags.
Here’s an idea: Promote peace by protesting and speaking out against your government. Not drawing war fan art like a lunatic.

was talking with a friend about how some of dunmeshi fаndom misunderstands kabru's initial feelings towards laios.
to sum up kabru's situation via a self-contained modernized metaphor:
kabru is like a guy who lost his entire family in a highly traumatic car accident. years later he joins a discord server and takes note of laios, another server member who seems interesting, so they start chatting. then laios reveals his special interest and favorite movie of all time is David Cronenberg's Crash (1996), and invites kabru to go watch a demolition derby with him

It irritates me alot when people say that making medic more compassionate is ''missing the point of his character'' when he is literally shown to be in the comics.... did you miss the part where he showed concern for both sniper and miss pauling's well being in comic 5 and 6.
His actions are a combination of genuine attachment + clinical interest and these things do not cancel out one another. He is always pushing boundaries and going against the grain and i think this is what led to him losing his license in the first place. He felt stifled by the rules imposed on him.
He is shown to be extremely passionate so it makes sense that he would use his endless fascination with medicine as a way to show his affection. He loves his friends so he will find a way to make them borderline indestructible. Malpractice is his love language.

alastor is such an insidious dealmaker because he's so reasonable. he doesn't ask for anything outlandish, especially not right out of the gate—he agrees to make a commercial so long as he's never asked to engage with anything tv-related again. he turns down charlie's soul and readily concedes to the stipulation that her favor doesn't have to hurt anyone. from the way husk describes their deal ("when you're down on your luck, you turn to anything to keep you afloat"), it heavily implies to me that husk went to alastor, not the other way around. alastor gets his foot in the door by making himself freely available, and by making it easy to tell him no the first dozen times he nonchalantly offers a deal, so by the time he starts angling for a deal he actually does want, you're less likely to notice immediately how predatory he's being, or how he's backed you into an inescapable corner. he makes himself an inevitability. you know he's a monster, you know that he's manipulating you—but he's also become your only choice, and so you don't even get the consolation of being able to say he tricked you, because you chose it
