Danny cringed. Of course, Batman would catch him off guard. He turned away from the guy he had just saved from the poisoning, feeling confident that the antidote was doing it's job, "I was just exploring. I wanted to know what a corporate place looked like when I saw that guy put something in Mr. Drakes-"

"Tim." Tim interrupted.

"Mr. Drakes," he said more firmly, ignoring the teen co-CEOs pout, "drink. He was lucky I knew what it was and how to cure it."

"How did you know?" The dak knight pressed.

"Because," Danny gritted his teeth, "That wasn't created to be a poison, it was created to be a fuel source by my parents and they created an antidote the moment they realized it was toxic and a safety hazard." Danny took a step towards the Gotham vigilante, not an ounce of fear in his eyes, "That man is Slade. He murdered my parents and stole some of my thier work. I'm going to kill him and I won't let you stop me." And with that, Phantom vanished.

Bruce tensed, anticipating an attack, but after a few minutes where nothing happened, he turned to leave. He pressed a finger to his ear, "Spoiler, Red Robin, since you two know the most about Phantom I'll be expecting a full report."

Tim did his best to hold back a groan, cause now he had to tell his Dad all about how he's been flirting with a supernatural entity when in the mask. Awkward.

Odysseus of Troy AU

Inspired by the Warrior!Penelope AU, @maggie44paint's Malewife Menelaus AU & @theblindgoddess + DaughterOfDungeonBat's Penelope of Troy AU.

So instead of Helen, Paris chooses Odysseus, thinking he's the safer option because he's just the king of small, barren Ithaca & super smart. Baby Telemachus is also spirited away as extra leverage.

Paris thinks he's being cunning, hoping this choice can somewhat ease Athena's wrath as well.

At first, Athena is furious....but then she gives the go-ahead for 3 reasons.

Odysseus will give Paris hell.

Hera will give Paris hell.

This one is important: Penelope will give Paris hell.

Paris tells himself he's doing Penelope a favour! Now she can find another, more powerful husband & have another kid with him. Plus, she's a woman with a tiny kingdom, it's not like she'll come knocking on Troy's walls.

Newsflash: a furious Penelope comes pounding on Troy's walls with a vengeance.

(Bonus if she isn't even being backed by Ares here. Oh no, all that unstoppable rage is 100% pure Penelope.)

In Olympus, Hera & Athena are cackling and high-fiving over a bucket of popcorn. In Troy, Ody is going full Mission Impossible, being a monster (rawr rawr rawr) to Paris, mapping out servant passages, calculating how much cloth it'll take to make a long enough rope & hoarding tiny paper scraps and crumbs for bird feeding.

He goes all: Yes, I need more clothes. It's not my fault my clothes keep ripping. *wink wink*. Oh, I'm not supposed to be here? Silly me, I'm hopeless without Athena's wisdom now! Look at the cute birdie, little wolf! *slips a message onto them while his son's buried under feathers*

Athena is very proud of her master liar.

Bonus:

Hector & Ody ironically become good friends because they're both dads and loving husbands. Hector tells himself he will NOT get attached to the man who's singlehandedly screwed him, his family & Troy over......only to pat the guy's back as he sobs for the nth time over missing his wife. It's hard not to empathize with him & feel a little sorry for the kid who doesn't even remember his mom.

And maybe when Hector senses that the end is coming, he & Andromache ask Ody to take Astyanax with him. He won't have a future in Troy, but it's better than no future, period.

Thus, Penelope returns to Ithaca with her family one member bigger than before.

The first out of three prompts I'm throwing out this month

Featuring my favorite trope of de aging the ghost boy for trauma and angst purposes :D

Okay! So Danny gets captured by the G.I.W or the Fenton's he's experimented on until his body can no longer take it and he retreats back into his core. Since he is still in the G.I.W's/ the Fenton's lab this doesn't exactly help him escape. With Sadistic Joy the G.I.W/ Fenton's start experimenting with Danny's core. They don't manage to break his core fortunately (whether it be because halfa cores are hard to break or the sheer powerhouse that is Danny you decide!)

Danny reforms before they could figure out how to use his core as a weapon and this causes some side effects. Both halves of him were balanced with each other, instincts clicked into place. New organs and features of his body worked perfectly with his newly enhanced human ones. Only problem with this was that he was now a baby. A literal baby like a little under a year old! And worse news he was still in the lab, his memorys blurry and his thinking process babyfied. He didn't know much about the people keeping him captive right now but he knew they hurt him and he wanted out.

The G.I.W/ Fenton's are furious that Danny reformed before they could create the perfect weapon and are now trying to make him retreat back into his core yet again. They do their worst but do to Danny's new balanced forms He. Does. Not. Give. Danny doesn't retreat back into his core he's unable to; his body healing the damage faster than they could deal it. Eventually they decided they'd kill Danny again the same way he died the first time.

They put the now officially 1yo halfa into the portal chamber. He's cuffed and muzzled to keep him from escaping or making any of those ghostly chirps, clicks, and warbles at them. (They think Danny is threatening them but he's just showing distress and calling for an adult to help him)

They quickly turn the portal off and on again with Danny inside but when they look into the chamber there's no Phantom or ghost core.

The portal didn't kill him though. No, it blasted the infant through the infinite realms so fast he clips into a different universe and crashes directly into Bruce Wayne's living room.

The batfam are very startled because they were just having a movie night, they even got Jason to show up! Now they're trying to coax a terrified baby out from under a piece of furniture so they can get the cuffs and muzzle off him.

Everyone's gone from laughing and cringing from embarrassment from the stupid movie made about their vigilante persona's to being concerned, sad, and angry on behalf of their unexpected guest.

Damian leaves the room for a second and returns with a stuffed animal from his room, offering it to the baby. The baby doesn't have the free hands to grab it but crawls out to reach for it. Damian takes the opportunity to scoop the little boy up and removing muzzle and cuffs.

Danny immediately let's out an avalanche of repressed chirps and trills, excited to be free from his chains and happy with the toy he was given. Danny decides the angry child is okay, he didn't know about the bigger people though.

The entire fam has already decided he's theirs now and they're going to destroy whoever had the balls to do something like this to a child.

(Damian would make a great older brother and you can fight me on this! >:(

The fact that Corazon has that whole children-hating act going on creates the funnies conflicts with Angel when he's still undercover.

He thinks nothing of it when Angel approaches him and motions for him to lean down to her height. He doesn't know what she wants, but he doesn't see the harm in going along with it. The second that he's in range, she just reels back and slaps him hard enough to make a pimp cry.

Corazon hits the ground like a sack of bricks and thinks he just got hit with fucking armament haki. Angel pounces and just starts wailing on him while screaming that she'll kill him if he ever lays a hand on one of her kids again. By the time she's done, he looks like he got mauled by a damn lion.

After that incident, he can't so much as breathe at any of the children without her staring a hole into him with homicidal intent. Doflamingo does nothing to ease the tensions because in true sibling fashion, he finds it funny that his brother is getting his ass handed to him by someone a fraction of his size. It's like seeing a full grown great dane be afraid of a kitten. Besides, Angel is just doing her job as the nanny, he won't fault her for that.

Corazon feels so conflicted about her at first because on one hand, he can respect a mama bear that loves her kids. On the other, she is probably the biggest bump in the road in his mission. She's so damn loving and sweet to the kids that of course they're sticking around. He knows that he needs to get rid of her, but how? He obviously won't kill her, but he knows that she would rather die than abandon the children.

The most obvious choice would be to get her to leave with the kids, but that isn't easy with Doflamingo and the rest of the Donquixote pirates watching her like a hawk.

They're like the pinnacle of enemies to lovers.

The moment those wretched words left the man's mouth, he may as well have handed Odysseus an obol to shove past his teeth.

Faster than a lunging viper, Odysseus unsheathed the xiphos from the guard's hip. The man had barely registered the theft of his own weapon before it swung in a well-practiced arc, slicing through flesh.

What was meant to be a scream turned into a wet gurgle lost amongst the blood spilling past his maw. Meaty hands instinctively shot to the gash at his neck, futilely trying to stem the waterfall of precious liquid life. He stumbled backwards, desperate to get away from the prey turned predator, desperate to find someone, anyone who could help him, save him, get him away from this wild animal-

He made it three more steps before Odysseus slammed the pommel of his xiphos against his temple, the concussive impact hard enough to be felt through his helmet.

Paris' prize was gone before his body hit the ground.

Apollo himself must have taken mercy on him, the healers said. Had the cut been even slightly deeper, he would be one of Charon's passengers right now. Unfortunately, he would never be able to talk beyond pitiful wheezes and moans ever again.

Panicking, he'd frantically gestured towards the little king with bloodshot eyes. There! He was the culprit, him! He knew Paris to be a foolish prince, but he didn't think him a fearless one. How could he bear to stand anywhere close to that beast, much less bed him?!

"The only reason you're alive is because Odysseus found your body, you ungrateful dog!" Paris hissed, arms wrapped possessively protectively around his demure lover.

"His handmaiden confirmed that he was with his son in the nursery prior to finding you." Hector added.

His jaw dropped. 'Lies!' he coughed. 'Traitors!' that old hag was clearly conspiring with the whore!

"Control yourself!" Hector barked. "Have you no shame after allowing yourself to be ambushed and nearly slain, by your own blade no less?"

What could only be described as a whine tumbled past his lips. He had no voice; worse, he had no ears who'd listen. He would not be demoted, in fact he'd be lucky if he's kept in the palace as a stable hand. What use was a soldier who couldn't communicate?

At some point, the princes left him to wallow in shame and the healers similarly tended to other patients. That night, he tossed and turned uneasily as Hypnos eluded him, only to hear something rustling beside him.

Slowly, he opened his eyes and his throat spasmed painfully around a silent scream as a wolf loomed over him, eyes practically glowing red in the darkness.

The scant moonlight from a nearby window reflected off a smile full of teeth as Odysseus slowly, tauntingly pressed a finger over his lips. Sweaty palms shook and his fingers twitched while his muscles demanded him to run when he could barely even breathe.

"2 days." Odysseus' whispered words drove into his skull like nails. "2 days from now, I will gouge out your eyes."

The promise was spoken with the same certainty as one commenting there would be rainfall once storm clouds were spotted on the horizon.

"Nuh-!" 'No.' his wide eyes pleaded. 'No, please, mercy!'

Odysseus' grin widened and his stomach twisted as he realized that no amount of squealing spares a pig from slaughter.

"2 days." the wolf repeated before disappearing into the darkness.

The next day, a guard ran out of the barracks, speed unfaltering even as he dropped some of his hastily packed possessions in his panicked dash.

He ran and never looked back.
