#dwedit#doctor who#mrs flood#fifteenth doctor#the master#jacobi!master#tenth doctor#jack harkness#martha jones#twelfth doctor#ninth doctor#*#okay here is my argument: mrs flood IS a time lord but her presence here has nothing to do with the doctor#instead she's here because of ruby. she's seemingly part of/related to the pantheon of discord & we know that ruby is connected to them too#so i think that she was deliberately placed as ruby's neighbor by the pantheon/oldest one/ruby's mom/? in order to watch over her#it also explains why she was there to check on ruby in 1.04. once she realizes she's on the phone w carla she says 'nothing to do with me'#and she leaves. which implies that it COULD have had something to do with her. if it had been something else going on#ANYWAY. to get to the time lordness of it all. rn i personally believe that she's a time lord that's been hiding on earth for 50+ years#bc i don't think she recognized the police box as a tardis initially. that first quote should be taken at face value.#instead picture this: she's watching over ruby as per usual. a police box is there - weird but nbd. then it dematerializes in front of her.#she drops her groceries. she's shocked. she kinda looks scared. if she already knew it was a tardis why would she react like that?#so imo she knows OF tardises. she DIDN'T know the police box was one. and she's worried the time lords have found her hence the fear.#but when nothing happens and nobody comes at her she realizes she's still safe#later when she sees the doctor she realizes the tardis is his/he must be a time lord. he doesn't identify her but that's happened before#so then when she asks him who he is i think what she's actually asking for is his title. WHICH time lord are you.#bc lbr if she knows abt tardises then she knows about time lords and if she knows abt time lords she knows what it means for ruby#to be joining him - and that's why she wishes ruby good luck. meanwhile this is clearly the outcome she WANTS (them to be together)#bc she gets visibly upset when the doctor seems to decide to leave without ruby.#and for once i'm not master clowning bc the list of names the doctor gives out is VERY interesting. some of them we've never heard before:#the bishop; the conquistador; later he adds the pedant and sagi-shi and reiterates the bishop AGAIN. so i wonder if she's the bishop.....

some realistic ways i see rose being included in the night agent season three, for the sake of proving that even if she's not made an agent, she's more than guaranteed a role in the story as is set up so far
1. gabriel has indicated a few times that he might want to retire from acting again; if he goes through with that this season, they can retire peter to cali and get a new lead for next season; rose might get a cameo at the very end, take him to therapy (this is my worst-case scanario bc i want her in the action long-term)
2. catherine, being aware of rose's hacking skills and her software, might pull her in for help with something, unbeknowst to peter at first, to help resolve the endgame of the season; invoking protecting peter will most likely get rose to join (would prefer it if this takes place at least three eps before the end of the season so we get some good scenes)
3. one of rose's potential or wannabe clients for the software might turn out to be shady and involved with the main plot; she and peter could run into each other while she's having a business meeting about it in the white house; she might try to sabotage the sale or software (this is my current fave bc it keeps rose in her own unique position in the story but also gives her a major role, it's something the writers can do if they're super adamant about not making her an agent)
4. rose believing in peter's goodness and wanting to defend him against the world is a common theme; she can use her software to manipulate some video footage to bail him out of being implicated in something at the end of the season, if catherine is willing to let him take the fall (he threw his life away for hers and y'all expect her not to keep tabs on him???)
5. if rose is in the same place as peter during a dangerous showdown, he can prioritize her safety again, or she can pull a gun or throw a punch and tell peter she took a self-defence course. chef's kiss (imagine if he has to protect someone in the white house but rose is also around doing her attracting investors job, or being pulled for a hearing on her software, when there's a bomb threat or the like, and he puts her first again bc he can't help it)
6. the guy blackmailing peter will likely have someone trailing rose and show photos of her daily life as proof anytime peter seems to be about to thwart him; peter might want to make a deal with catherine to have some security detail on rose until the mission is done (we are so getting at least a cameo for continuity... it's okay if rose is just a voice on the phone too if they bring her back in the next season)
#all these are me being generous and accommodating#what i want most is (1) rose being involved before peter knows so she saves the day or#(2) rose's program being used against her wishes by the baddies so she has to step in#the rest are worst-case options but even then you can't take her out of the story#her call is the whole point this show exists#nothing else is unique about it tbh#without peterose it's just another spy show but with more diversity#but peterose is why i'm watching#and i found out it exists a week ago#so i didn't even come to season 2 with preconcieved happily ever after ideas#it was the angst and depth there that really sold this ship for me and now they're not getting away with writing her off on my watch#when it's so easyyyyy to keep her in the story#the night agent#sutherkin#peterose#larkland#peter x rose

theories as to where Grace got the cigarette she was smoking after fucking Max's ghost:
she has actually secretly been an active smoker for a long time and always carries a pack with her
she bought a pack of cigarettes when she was on the run from the cops because she was stressed, and figuring that she had already disappointed the Lord by touching herself and lying to the police and dismembering a body, decided that she might as well relieve that stress by taking up smoking
Max died with a pack of cigs and a lighter on him and they stayed with him when he turned ghost and Grace pocketed them from his clothes after they had sex
she just found them in the school or on the ground somewhere after the Lords in Black meeting, and perhaps her mind made the association between sex and cigarettes and that's how she came up with the idea of giving up her chastity to end Max's reign of terror
Grace had immediately thought of giving up her virginity as the sacrifice after the Lords in Black meeting, and the entire time Steph and Pete are running away and tearfully coming to terms with Steph having to kill Pete to stop Max, Grace is running around the school or off to a drug store for cigarettes because she felt having a smoke after was that necessary

i need to start getting ready for work, (i'm doing my first evening shift tonight,) but here's a quick doodle i did of an ever after high oc i've been working on.
her name is celeste blufaye, she's an old friend of cedar wood and wants to take over the position of the fairy in her story after the blue fairy disappeared. the only issue is that her magic is kinda wacky and difficult for her to control so shenanigans often ensue around her.

My family has such a special ability to stress me out so bad

A bunch of OC designs/reworks I've done this month :> Still more to go, but Jasper and Crystal have been characters just SCREAMING for a redesign for YEARS now so I'm really happy to have gotten them done :) The Anatomist is a new oc and I'm enjoying his nasty fuckedup-ness, and Omari's design was okay but it needed a complete retool because he's now themed around an entirely different animal (An Egyptian Fruit Bat rather than a Honduran White Bat, so I needed to take out the dominant whites and yellows from his pallette).
Up next? Idfk, whoever I feel like drawing aha. Al, perhaps, or maybe I'll finally get around to my Galaxy design rework. I'm trying not to stress having everything 100% new and shiny for artfight, all my old stuff is perfectly serviceable, so I'm just focusing on those with the biggest changes.

For word-for-WIP game... "eyes" 👀
Thank you! I had "eyes" in all of my current WIPs, but I really liked where it landed in this one. Another Curse of Strahd WIP, this time about the aftermath of the battle we had while trying to put some bones back in a box.
Milivoj, the young gravedigger that had started this whole affair — the boy that had stared down one of Strahd’s elite with nothing but a garden shovel and a grown man’s worth of grit — sat curled up in the folds of his clothes, trembling, his eyes pinned on the body crumpled at his feet. Or, Wyn thought it was a body, anyway. The figure’s clothes were bloodstained almost to the point of being unrecognizable, criss-crossed with a messy lattice of slender puncture wounds still hemorrhaging little trickles of blood. The person-shape of it had been truncated just above the shoulders, where the head had been leveraged off by a messy cut about the length of a hand’s span. Or, Wyn realized soberly, about the length of a shovel blade. Milivoj’s eyes were fixed on the discarded head, which lolled beside the sad slump of its body like a forgotten toy.
#frenchy replies#my writing#frenchy writes#i need a curse of strahd tag#the wyn tag#wyn bannon#the context of this one is that we fought one of strahd's court in a temple of the morning lord#and she unfortunately killed the priest and turned him undead#and the church gravedigger - who was part of why Strahd's court member was in the town in the first place - had to kill the priest#we had gotten dragged away from the priest in the fight and didn't know what happened until we found the gravedigger later#poor kid wanted for comfort and before wyn could peel herself off of the ground to give it to him the wizard went over#and provided genuine good advice and comfort in that disarmingly familiar way he has#being a former(?) conman does come with some perks i guess#anyway the scene of him going over to comfort that kid still lives with me#wyn was literally getting up to go play grief counselor as the tenants of her god demands and then she just. watched.#as this man that she had originally pegged as totally morally bankrupt was so incredibly gentle and kind#and it stuck with me so much that I had to get it onto paper. OR. TO TRY ANYWAY#ANYWAY THANK YOU FOR THIS I'm trying so hard to get this one done

Y'know what. Everyone really made me think Hazbin Hotel was the worst most problematic show ever with how ppl were talking about it.
I watched it and it was nowhere near as bad as anyone was saying??? Its ok actually, if the pacing was better I'd almost call it good. I personally don't find a lot of the jokes funny either, just not my humor. The music at least is fucking fantastic.
The complaints about the artsyle and character designs kinda just remind me of the same arguments people had against Steven Universe ngl and that sort of thing is subjective anyway, a lot of it comes off as people complaining cause they already didn't like the show and have to shit on it more. Yeah sure everyone got that onceler look and I wish there was more variety but it's not the worst thing ever.
Yeah it's an adult cartoon that's a little cringe and handles some things not so great but most hate I've read about it wasn't even true or it's just people wanting to complain about everything cause they already decided the show was bad.
I will finish off saying the creator sucks ass and is a piece of shit so I pirated the show she's not getting any money outta me
#This is exactly why I think people should at least watch something before they have opinions about it#So they know what they're talking about first#I'm not up the shows ass praising it for being amazing or anything either#I just think a lot of people formed opinions on it based off other people's takes online instead of their own#Fully understand people not wanting to watch it cause of the creator though I almost didn't cause of her either#I only did cause I'm a glee enjoyer I love musical shows n shit#hazbin hotel

guy who has only read kekkaishi, watching interstellar for the first time: wow this guy is soooo sumikocore
#just thinking thoughts...#good news everybody! interstellar was great!!#so sad that I got to watch it and karasuma didn't. I think he would have liked it#and yoshimori? he would have been devastated#I think it goes like this. sen would ask yoshimori and tokine to watch it at the theaters with him bc he doesn't want to watch it alone#knowing nothing more than sen said someone else said it was really good#they go. movie starts. when it becomes clear that the dad is going on a trip to save the world and he will likely never return#tokine starts shooting angry glares at sen who is staring defensively back like I did not know about the plot dont come after me#obviously yoshimori is crying sobbing at multiple points#like audibly dry heaving in the theater. other people are looking at him. he doesn't care he's having a moment with his mom#when the movie ends and they go to Birdy's (knockoff Denny's) for dinner#he smiles placidly and goes 'damn it was nice that she got to see her dad just once before she died' with the musou and everything#and sen and tokine are both tryna be like. damn. um. are you okay brother. and they know he's not but also don't know what to do#two weeks later an interstellar dvd arrives at their place and sen and tokine are having a hushed whisper argument about it#like yeah that was a good movie but why would you order this#what the fuck are you on I didn't order it can you stop just assuming shit???#and yoshimori just comes by and goes 'oh nice it's here!' and casually grabs it from them#and trots off to a distant part of the house and they can audibly hear him go#'hey dad I watched this awesome movie with sen and tokine a while ago we should watch this together some time'#THE END. thanks for reading this comic with me that's in my head. you should be able to see it
