Transphobia that's dealing direct damage to reproductive healthcare and mental healthcare. Denial of Healthcare to people who need it in direct violation of "Do no harm" under penalty of arrest. Not to mention dismantling of government paid insurance with only "concepts of a plan" to replace it(which is just another way of saying it won't be replaced). Intentions to delegalize same sex marriage. The person who put America even further into debt, who we know is in bed with Putin and China, is back into office. The same man that was convicted and found guilty of 34 felonies including multiple cases of Sexual assault. The very same man who's throwing a tantrum because one of our greatest presidents died and flags will still be at half mast during hus inauguration. Racism, sexism, and bigotry "backed" by the government. Oh! And those terrorists, sorry, that's bad optics, right? "Christian Nationalists" having government positions in direct opposition to the Founding Fathers Direct intent of "Separation of Church and State." Also cultists, whoops again, "The MAGA Party," having even higher influence because they're in central government positions! Oh! The price of living will increase too! Trump also said that his promise to decrease egg prices was a lie.

But hey. At least Trump voters are happy that they can be hateful in public. At least they can feel justified in attacking marginalized groups knowing Trump is in the office! At least they know no more—Oh wait! Immigrants are cheaper labor than native citizens, so immigrants will still be coming to their country!

I'm sure you hear this all the time, but why can't we just let people enjoy things? Why are fandoms so caught up on following "the rules" and chasing away people who think differently? I follow a Star Wars blogger who is getting harassed by the usual neckbeards because they say he isn't following the naming convention for droids. Normally droids have a dash between the series and their specific identifier (such as R2-D2 or C-3P0). But this blogger has a headcanon where he believes the Crips gang exists in the Star Wars universe and they would replace the dash with the letter C. So instead of using R4-C0, he goes by R4cS0. I agree it's weird to imagine gang bangers shooting Glock19s at a Jedi, but just let the guy enjoy stuff!

oh my god, the anon wasn't kidding. the artist was part of, if not also the creator of, a hillary clinton zine

i was in disbelief at first because it wasn't showing up in the artist's search results on their blog, but after looking through the reblogs of a (now deleted) post they made about the zine, i found out two things:

1. the original post was made in late september of 2016, which means

2. this is more of an inference, but since 2016 was the same year trump was elected president here in the US, the artist must have nuked all mentions and posts about the zine after the election results were announced in november that year. i need to lie down, man 💀

I'm not part of the Loki community so I don't know what the drama is going on over there, I only know what some people have told me and what I've seen on the rare reblog that comes across my feed. I'm just trying to support some mutuals who are having their privacy being invaded and constantly harassed over God knows what. It's actually very alarming that, that's what things have come to over something as small as correcting other writer's grammer and such. (TO MY KNOWLEDGE!! I DON'T KNOW THE FULL STORY!!)

I've been told by many that some testimonies are faked while others say it's real and because I'm just minding my business and don't know what's going on, I can't pick a side! /srs You'd be surprise how easy it is for people to lie and fake things on the internet! /lh

Anyways, I don't know what the problem is at the moment and it's truly none of my business because it's not my fandom. I'm just trying to help support some people who are getting stalked and harassed to the point that some of their families are getting involved which is totally fucked up.

I just think their dynamic has a lot of potential. Like. Sometimes hypercompetent but still very much a messy 20-something who maybe takes himself a bit too seriously!Floyd Talbert + a more laid back, easy going, laugh-at-life, witty and warm dude who just likes to make his friends laugh!Smokey Gordon? it's just!!!!

Smokey's also three years older than Tab, and I think that's why he's a little bit more easy going. Been there done that! Tab's going through it now, though, and the only way Smokey can give him any comfort is by trying to make him see that he can be a little less high strung. Of course, that probably didn't go well the first couple of times, when his pranks weren't necessarily met with anything more than indignation and outrage. But after getting to know each other, I think Tab realized none of the jokes were actually mean spirited, and Smokey got him to mellow down a little bit.

Idk, it's nice!!! this part isn't historically accurate and is purely my characterization of him, but I think Tab's the oldest and had to step up for an absent father and a negligent mother (as you know), and a lot of the time I think he always silently wished for an older brother. He got that in Smokey, I think, though he clearly didn't realize it at first and it's just!! it's nice!!!! It's nice to think about!!

I mean, we saw how they were in Night of the Bayonet. it's sweet, I think, that Tab took that ribbing like a champ and Smokey later gave him that purple heart. I think Tab was devastated when he found out Smokey had to be pulled out of Bastogne on account of being paralyzed.
