can i talk about how darryl talks to glenn...i just, him calling him bud and trying to comfort his confused crazy old man friend is so funny and sweet to me

this is the first time we get to see glenn interacting with the other dads this season and it made me really happy lol

i kinda had the idea that he stopped being in contact and associating himself with them when the betrayal happened and all that, but it would actually be peak glenn behavior for him to still hang out with his friends even though their kids shot his son's arm off

but still, i love how sweet darryl is with him, idk i like it when people are friends and happy on this podcast, fucking kill me or whatever

Granted I can absolutely see the point being made! It's just Bloodmoon but now he's got insane power + technically the criteria for what a Lord vraiant is doesn't necessarily depend on the star (see: evil Lunar and Lord Lunar both have the star), but!

I think it counts as Lord Bloodmoon since,

Bloodmoon altered the entire world to appeal to them specifically, becoming the "ruler" of the realm (in a similar fashion to Lord Eclipse) and,

what else would we call him HAIDGDJ "Bloodmoon with the star" is a mouthful, "Star Bloodmoon", while cool, sounds more akin to an astral body vibe, and "Evil Bloodmoon" doesn't work bc their whole point is that they're already evil JDKDNFM

So yea basically I think this can count as a Lord Bloodmoon variant! If not because of how they used the star, then bc idk what else they'd be LOLLL

you know those matching outfits for parents & children? i think he'd have a set for his kids. matching banite outfits. a little version of his coat for them. dresses them up in finery and shows them off to the public like a proud parent

indulges them in their interests (unlike his own parents). oh, theyre showing interest in music? fetch every instrument faerun has to offer. they like the arts? theatre trips every tenday, lessons with the finest of artists! anything for his darling child/children

reads them bedtime stories. will never admit that he does the silly voices but he does. a servant overhears him one night and was killed so the secret wouldnt get out

he'd be very protective over them i think. i mean, theres something kind of fucked up about seeing a being so small and helpless and knowing that when he was like that people were treating him awfully (its like when u see photos of your younger self and go "wow. awful things happened to me when i looked like that? how could anyone do that?"). he feels that tenfold looking at his kid. and id think he'd try and be a good dad out of spite, too. im not projecting i promise!!!!
