I think of so many stupid shenanigans between Wriothesley and his daughters in the Addison Lee verse. They tell Wriothesley crazy shit all the time, their daddy-daughter secrets, and it drives Neuvillette nuts that Wriothesley won't snitch.
Sigewinne, whispering into his ear: Today at school I punched a boy because he was being mean. I waited until it was recess, and made sure that no one was watching, and I punched him. Everyone knows he is a liar, so noooo one believed him when he cried about it. And Sigewinne is aaaalways a superstar so Mr Vautrin didn't suspect a thing !
Wriothesley, mildly concerned: Uh huh.
Sigewinne: Papa would say Sigewinne has to be nice to everyone, but, Sigewinne thinks bullies need to get punched sometimes, b'cos, b'cos otherwise, they think everyone is just gonna let them be mean
Wriothesley: Y'know what. That's fair

alright y'all i want your thoughts. do we think Hermie is superstitious??? because i could see it going either way. on the one hand, with how seriously he takes theater, its VERY funny to picture some unaware freshman mentioning Macbeth and then getting side tackled by this scrawny ass joker bucko, but on the other hand, we know how dedicated to scams he is. part of me thinks he would find some hidden spot with good acoustics and just start whistling and slowly drive everyone wild

If media has taught me one thing, it's to never own a paperweight capable of causing traumatic brain injury.
My dad owned a heavy glass paperweight once that tapered into a sturdy sharp point on the top, and the fact that no one was murdered with this at all before his retirement from the lawfirm is the surest proof I have that this reality is in fact not fiction.

-Remembers how T’Pring looked as she watched Spock & Chapel vanish into the bathroom together after seeing them kiss on the bridge (which she knew was for a mission and didn’t hold against them but perhaps she could sense something there since they do have feelings for one another), maybe attempting to calm herself and her suspicions as she’s left alone again (and later finds she’s been left out entirely this whole time) and how she doesn’t know that Spock almost told Chapel he loved her then and there, with T’Pring in the other room waiting, and how Amanda and Sevet both think she could have more confidence in herself and how T’Pring thought that she and Spock were in this together (her holding his hand, subtly letting him know to pour slower so the tea flowers would bloom correctly, a whispered ‘well done’, the ritual is over mother) and how mere hours after she expresses to Spock how she feels: Like he doesn’t trust her, like he doesn’t care to include her in his life, how she’s trying her best to show him that she will accept him wholly, how she wants to be his partner instead of an adversary or an obstacle, after all this he’s found Chapel within the hour and is kissing her.-

ohmygod every time I say “I think Dean is autistic” and someone says “so’s Sam!” I just want to scream because that is the most allistic man I have ever laid eyes on
Is he neurodivergent? Yes! He has PTSD! But he doesn’t meet any of the diagnostic criteria for autism I’m so sorry 🥲 Sam’s interests were wide & varied, he had friends & relationships growing up, he doesn’t struggle with strangers as much as Dean does, he’s nowhere near as rigid in his thinking or habits. Like sure, he could be high masking but Sam “made fun of Dean in Mint Condition” Winchester? An autistic? 🤨
You know how some people like to go “are you autistic or do you just have cptsd”???? Sam has cptsd, but I totally get why you think he is.
It’s like, I totally get why people read cas that way as well, but I don’t personally read him as autistic. Because it’s not that Cas doesn’t understand or is lacking in social skills, he’s just an angel who thinks that our society’s rules are dumb & doesn’t care to follow them, and he’s so real for that. Here’s the difference
Cas: hello, Sam. I’m well.
Dean: you’re supposed to ask him how he is.
Cas: but I can see that he’s physically unharmed, and no more emotionally unwell than usual.
Dean: that’s. ……it’s just polite, cas. It’s what people do.
Cas: oh. Hello, Sam. How are you doing?
And then there’s Dean, who’s been masking all of his life and vaguely understands what’s expected of him in most social situations but if you drop him in a new scenario without warning and he doesn’t have a script prepared??? Big oof. See: this scene from 8.13

pharma really is such an interesting case. one thing i’ve always felt with pharma is that he absolutely doesn’t want consequences. and facing up to it requires a lot of looking at and showing people what he’s done and you know. the consequences. i mean hell he’d rather start a plague than say “hey i got coerced into doing a very bad thing by the djd”
I do understand what you mean about Pharma not wanting to face consequences, but on the other hand, I kind of understand why Pharma made a plague rather than admit to medical malpractice/murder? Because like, the thing that I don't see brought up often enough with regards to Pharma is that blackmail... is blackmail. Like, as someone who's unfortunately been on the receiving end of blackmail, the entire point of blackmailing someone is that you corner them into doing bad things by convincing them that they CAN'T turn to an authority figure to ask for help. Like, the person doing the blackmailing generally convinces the person who's getting blackmailed that if they try to reach out for help, the law/authorities/etc either won't care about their predicament or will punish them for the bad thing they did that they're getting blackmailed about.
I kind of feel like (and this isn't an attack on you, just a commentary about the nature of blackmail) when someone like Ratchet looks at Pharma and says "but you could've called for help or shut down the clinic or anything!", it kind of ignores the fact that...... when you're being blackmailed you're fucking terrified, and people who are terrified generally don't jump to the most rational, safe solutions possible? When you add in the fact that Pharma was blackmailed by Tarn of the DJD, notorious hater of Autobots and fanatic leader of a torture club, it's not hard to imagine that Pharma was both afraid and in pain (or threat of pain) while at Delphi and thus wouldn't be thinking straight about it.
I don't know, like. Yeah, on one hand Pharma made a plague and killed a bunch of people to try and cover up his crimes and maintain his career. But he didn't just do it for ego related reasons, he was also almost certainly facing threats of torture and death.
