rwby is going to have 12 volumes because it's inspired by madoka magica which has 12 episodes thank you goodnight
#a.l.i.c#this is partially a shitpost but I just rewatched episode 3 of pmmm#(spoilers after this)#wherein mami. yknow. dies at the end#who do I know of in rwby that has blond hair and is treated as a mother figure by a chosen one#and also has something devastating happen to them in the third installment of their series#also episode 9 revolving around the fall of a character with a hero/savior complex who refused to take care of themself#and resorted to brutal methods to achieve their goals because the danger and the pain didn't mean anything to them anymore#“are you saying that ruby rose is sayaka miki”#perchance#in this interpretation jaune and ozma are homura#nora and pyrrha are kyoko#so on and so forth#one could argue that each of the main five qualifies as their own archetype and that many rwby characters fall into at least one category

Sun is one of the few characters in RWBY without loads of baggage. He left the show before the writers could truly tarnish him. Unfortunately they left that to the book author, who magnified Sun's existing flaws to ridiculous levels in an OOC manner to the point the narrative itself was putting him down. Of course he ain't perfect. His lack of character beyond serving as a springboard for Blake to bounce her ideas off and be a potential love interest leaves much to be desired. Sun can be bad at reading people and situations but he means well. He's a goofy himbo, with a badass weapon, and easy on the eyes. How he opened Blake up with patience and understanding while always being there to support her is something anyone would be lucky to have in a friend or boyfriend. Not to mention his talk with her after his near death showed he was able to be serious when needed. Arguably they flanderized his silly side for comic relief after Beacon more than I would've liked but it's not like he was the only one who experienced character derailing. He remains my favorite after MKEK ruined the others. Monkey boy is the GOAT.
I did hear bad things about how EC Myers treated Sun in the novels. Unfortunately I haven't read the books and don't intend to spend money on any more RT products, but from what I hear from other, bigger Sun fans than me, it's not a flattering picture.
But yeah, there is a charming simplicity to Sun. Same blonde hair, sunny disposition and motif... he's kind of like Yang without the baggage - which has its pros (he's a very stable, likable character) and cons (he's pretty static and not very compelling unless paired with someone).
Talking about AUs and rewrites, if one were to tackle Sun in their fanfic, they do have to somewhat account for the fact he and Yang occupy a very overlapping role towards Blake - a cheerful, more extroverted foil who keeps her from withdrawing into herself and infecting her with their positivity.
For most, if they had to choose between the two to prioritise, it typically lands on who they like or ship with Blake more. I do like the idea of giving Sun a lot more substance and make him more of his own character, with a life beyond just being Blake's support. It's not common though, but I do admit I need to look into more Sun-focused stories when I can. If any followers know of any fics that explore Sun more - like his past and motivations, feel free to reply!

22 for the Spotify ask meme!
It didn't take nearly as long as I expected it would, but the short story's finished! Thanks for exchanging requests for art with our number 22 songs with me lol, this song is Oh No! by MARINA (tho for some reason it looks like spotify moved around some of my songs and it's not there anymore??? idk, I'm not changing it to be another song when that other one was also requested lol)
I tried to incorporate themes from the song of things like neglecting personal relationships due to a desire to succeed and make a change in the world/life. This is focused on my RWBY OC, Chae-Yeong Vermeil, and you can also read it on ao3!
“Miss Vermeil! Chae-Yeong!”
Chae-Yeong turns at the sound of her name to see the familiar cheery face of Ashley Linden making her way through the first floor of the Vermeil Foundation building.
The musician has become a familiar face at the charity’s headquarters over the past couple of months, and as much as Chae-Yeong’s inclined to believe people are good, she can’t help wondering if Ashley’s just here out of a desire to help people in Mantle. She’s well aware that Ashley insists on making her donations to the charity with Chae-Yeong personally, and that she’s been known to leave upon finding out that Chae-Yeong isn’t there today. It's clear that she doesn’t like staying in Mantle for long. That combined with how even now, Ashley casts a quick glance downwards towards Chae-Yeong’s chest makes her main intention for being here clear— she’s attracted to Chae-Yeong, and she wants to get close to her.
If she were twenty years younger and not used to people who don’t even know her pining after her, Chae-Yeong might be flattered. But she is forty-six, and Ashley is twenty-eight, and Chae-Yeong has long since moved past enjoying people she barely speaks to wanting to date her. There are far more important things in the world, like running her company, working on developing space travel, and trying to improve Atlas and Mantle for everyone in it.
But Chae-Yeong knows how to play nice. She has an image to upkeep, and whatever feelings she holds privately don’t need to be shared with anyone.
“Hi, it's Ashley, right? How are you? Chae-Yeong asks. She knows exactly who Ashley is, but pretending she’s bad with names is all part of the act. It also might deter her from continuing to pursue her.
She hopes this won’t take long. She has work to do. Neither the Vermeil Foundation of Vermeil Industries run themselves, and even if her job as CEO isn’t meant to keep her involved with what’s happening in her company, she likes to be. Chae-Yeong would rather sit through mind numbingly boring meetings and seemingly endless emails than do nothing but play golf and only ever interact with people that are inordinately wealthy. Besides, her involvement in her company’s practices and its charitable offshoot means that she can make sure that everyone working for her is getting treated well.
“I’m great, for sure,” Ashley says. She fiddles with the end of some of her long blonde hair. “Actually, I was just looking for you.”
“Yeah?” Chae-Yeong prompts.
“Are you doing anything tonight?”
And there’s the question Chae-Yeong had been waiting for. Honestly, she’s impressed. It usually takes even less interaction with her for someone to get bold enough to ask her out.
The answer will, of course, be no. The question is how to phrase the rejection without upsetting Ashley too much or letting her get far enough to feel humiliated.
“I’ve actually got a date later tonight. I don’t know how well it’ll go, but I might be, ah, unavailable for a long while after that,” Chae-Yeong says. It’s a complete lie, but those can make the best excuses. Plus, it helps her to maintain the playgirl reputation she’s cultivated over the years.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know you were in a relationship,” Ashley says, and she’s mastered the Atlesian art of burying your feelings deep inside. There's disappointment clear in her eyes, but her expression remains bright as if she hadn't been hoping that Chae-Yeong was single.
Chae-Yeong is in a relationship, but that’s not something that anyone is supposed to know about. Everything between her and James is supposed to be private. If she were telling anyone about it, the last choice would be a pop star that would tell the tabloid’s that Atlas’ general and the CEO of Vermeil Industries are dating.
“It’s nothing too long term, just our second date,” Chae-Yeong says. It’s best to keep these made up relationships short, that way it’s harder to fact check.
“Yeah, that’s pretty early on,” Ashley agrees, and Chae-Yeong recognizes the way her eyes regain their light at the thought. With a short relationship, she sees opportunity. If they’re only in the getting to know you phase still, it could be brief. Maybe Ashley won’t try to ask Chae-Yeong out now, but she will again in the future, after this fictionalized relationship has fizzled out.
Chae-Yeong knows that she’s only creating an endless cycle with this by lying and acting like if she was single, Ashley would have a chance with her. But outright rejecting Ashley would only upset her. At least this option gives her hope, even if it is a false one.
“Sorry if you wanted to do something, though,” Chae-Yeong says.
“It’s fine, don’t worry. I hope your date goes well!” Ashley says, even though she definitely doesn’t hope it goes well.
“Maybe we can get a rain check?” Chae-Yeong suggests. “I should be free at… some point. I’d have to check my schedule, it’s hard to keep track of everything.”
It isn’t, and Chae-Yeong knows exactly when she’s free. But this is another part of her public persona, and it gives her a good way to postpone any future attempts by Ashley to ask her out.
“Yeah, we can figure it out later,” Ashley says. She rocks back on her heels. “I guess I should let you go, huh?”
“If you don’t mind. I have a lot going on, well, pretty much all the time,” Chae-Yeong says with a laugh. That’s not a lie, but it’s also a good way to get out of this conversation.
“No worries,” Ashley assures.
“Thanks so much.” Hoping to avoid getting caught up in more conversation if Ashley thinks of anything else to say, she starts walking towards the elevator. “See you later!”
With a press of a button, the elevator is called to the first floor. It arrives with a ding as Ashley says her goodbyes, and Chae-Yeong steps in, waving one last time before the doors close.
Alone for once, Chae-Yeong allows herself a second to take a deep breath and let her shoulders drop.
That went well. She was able to prevent Ashley from even outright asking her out, which would have helped to prevent her from getting embarrassed at an outright rejection. Even though it wasn't the most public forum in the world, there were other people in the lobby, and everyone loves to gossip about the love lives of celebrities. Ashley may have been disappointed by the polite no, but that’s for the best. Chae-Yeong’s too much for most people, especially when it comes to relationships, anyway.
Authenticity is hard for Chae-Yeong to do— she has too many secrets that could potentially destroy her life as she knows it. There’s too much anger and sadness and passion inside of her to be palatable for the average person. Letting people get close would mean she has to lower some of her walls, and that’s not something she can risk doing when the consequences of honesty could be disastrous for herself and others.
She’s too busy for relationships anyway. Her social life has never been her priority, and she would much rather pour herself into her work. Dedicating herself to Vermeil Industries and public services and everything else she puts her time into helps people, and that’s much more important than anything else.
It’s for the best that Chae-Yeong avoids any deep relationships, even if she can admit that it gets lonely. It’s not like she’s completely alone, though. No matter what, she has James, and there’s no need to pretend around him.
Chae-Yeong forces herself out her head before she can get too caught up there. She has work to do, and there’s no time to waste feeling bad for herself.
She knows what she wants out of life, and if that means she needs to make sacrifices in her personal life, so be it.
If she’s able to change the world for the better, it’s all worth it.

26 Reasons why Qrow is not Ruby’s father and why Taiyang is Ruby’s father
In response to the toxic aspect of the fandom attacking CRWBY and demanding that their desires for Qrow be chosen over canon, or how they feel their theory is more valid than the show itself? I have researched RWBY to make this 26-point Discussion as to why Canon is valid, and fancanon is not when it comes to Qrow Branwen, Ruby Rose, Taiyang Xiao Long, and Summer Rose.
1. “Monty said NO” Most obviously. Monty Oum.
He said in this tweet that ruby and yang are half-sisters…half-sisters, which means they share the same mom or dad…in this case Taiyang….
https://twitter.com/montyoum/status/492070189731565568
Now people have claimed “he obviously meant step-sisters or cousins” Why is it that every time we show the English dictionary to you people or ask you to read it, that you claim you are being attacked or that you claim Monty was misleading us?
2. The writers said NO
Miles Luna debunked this theory on Reddit…
He pointed out that Ruby sees Qrow as a Role model, so she adapts her colors to be similar to his.
And you don’t need somebody to be blood to be your role model.
https://www.reddit.com/r/RWBY/comments/7x3w4s/crwby_ama_w_miles_luna_kerry_shawcross_and_paula/du5d67g/?
3. “Rooster Teeth said NO” Rooster Teeth even said that Qrow is "Ruby and Yang's Uncle" They also said “Ladies, he’s not your man”
https://twitter.com/RoosterTeeth/status/1067205612331782144
4. “But what if Summer had feelings for Qrow? Why does Qrow Serve Ozpin?” Qrow said in Volume 6 " No one wanted me... I was cursed... I gave my life to you because you gave me a place in this world... I thought I was finally doing some good... " So he was saying he wasn't wanted, so no relationship with Summer. SUMMER DID NOT WANT HIM. And he was literally saying he served Ozpin because Ozpin gave him purpose. It’s pretty sad how people think Qrow can only be a complex character if he obsesses over another person’s wife and child. What , you wanna make him Severus Snape, the Lilly Potter stalker who insulted a girl’s face and tried to poison a boy’s pet and publicly outed a teacher?
https://rwby.fandom.com/wiki/Qrow_Branwen/Quotes#So_That.27s_How_It_Is
5, "But Qrow could be lying" Except in volume 6 Qrow literally said "Don't lie...we're better than that"
And in volume 7?
" Long time ago. I just found working alone tends to be for the best "
" Gotta say, I’m still not really used to working with other Huntsmen in the field. "
And finally World Of Remnant on Patch.
" Nice place to raise a family, if you're into that sort of thing. "
https://rwby.fandom.com/wiki/Qrow_Branwen/Quotes#So_That.27s_How_It_Is
6. “Qrow fans claim that Ruby and Summer form a core part of Qrow’s character and backstory.” WRONG! The main accusation for demanding Rooster Teeth / CRWBY change the backstory for Qrow would accomplish nothing.
Raven already pushed Yang onto Taiyang to raise on his own.
Qrow forcing Tai to Raise Ruby alongside Yang while Qrow could regularly visit, and while Summer lived with Taiyang, Yang, and Ruby?
It would cheapen Qrow’s character….blood isn’t everything. Neither are cliches.
7. “But what if Qrow gave Ruby to Tai to raise after Summer’s death?” Volume Chapter 6, Burning the Candle.
Yang tells Blake that she (yang) and Ruby were raised together by Summer and Taiyang…not by Taiyang on his own, but by Summer and Taiyang.
Yang clearly had memories of being raised by Summer and Tai both, which meant that Summer and Taiyang lived together raising Ruby and Yang for Several Years.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZkN-53h5Os
8. “Does Taiyang care about Summer or Ruby?” Taiyang was noted to have shut down when Summer didn’t come back…. Yang noted this in Volume 2 Chapter 6, and Ruby mentioned in the first episode of Volume 3 that Taiyang missed Summer. Qrow also said that Ruby is Taiyang’s “Special Angel”…. Ruby has also pointed out numerous times that Taiyang is Overprotective of Ruby. In fact, Ruby's conversation with Penny about overprotective fathers.
9. “Qrow knows Taiyang is Ruby’s Father. Taiyang knows Ruby is Taiyang’s daughter. Qrow has referred to Taiyang as Ruby’s father during volume 3 and 7. Taiyang referred to Ruby as his daughter in volume 3.
10. “Why didn’t Taiyang train Ruby in Martial Arts?” Taiyang is a martial arts fighter. Ruby has neither the build nor the personality for ruthless hand to hand combat like her sister… Taiyang would trust Qrow, despite his semblance. Remember how bad Ruby was in v5?
11. “Qrow’s semblance is not what his fans exaggerate it to be”
Speaking of Qrow’s semblance? He was playing video games with his nieces, taught at Signal Academy, and could train Ruby… Clearly, his semblance is not what theorists make it out to be.
12. “Why doesn’t Qrow treat Yang the same way he treats Ruby?”
Yang is the daughter of Qrow’s sister, who abandoned the team.
During a one on one interaction between Qrow and Yang after yang vs mercury, Qrow called his own niece crazy, after she had been framed.
Qrow was not empathetic to Yang.
Qrow may not like Yang’s resemblance to Raven.
Ruby is the daughter of his two closest friends, so of course he’d prefer Ruby over Yang.
13. “Examples of Taiyang caring for Ruby.”
Volume 2 Ruby was excited when Taiyang sent a package in the mail, not even knowing it was Zwei.
Taiyang was at Ruby’s bedside in V3, and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
He also tried to bring her breakfast in bed.
Taiyang said he wanted to chase after Ruby, but had to nurse Yang back to health.
During the V8 broadcast, Taiyang was upset when the broadcast was cut.
14. “Genetics research”
Black hair is the subtype of the pigment for blonde hair…
Also, Ruby’s got the same hair strand that Yang and Taiyang have.
Finally, black hair is more dominant.
So Ruby doesn’t need blonde hair to be Taiyang’s kid.
https://askinglot.com/is-black-hair-a-dominant-or-recessive-gene
https://www.quora.com/If-a-jet-black-haired-parent-and-a-blonde-parent-have-children-what-color-hair-would-the-children-likely-have
15. “The STRQ Photo”
The photo....Qrow was with STRQ for four years...do you really think Qrow is not allowed to cry on the photo unless he was romantically involved? Can't a man grieve over the death of a female friend that he was NOT in a relationship with? Or are men not allowed to have female friends? Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach for example...friendship. They were his friends, his family. People seem obsessed with the idea that Qrow cannot care about a woman unless he was romantically involved or unless he's their bastard father.
16. “Men and Women…as friends, platonic” Harry Potter as a book showed that a boy and a girl can interact and still be friends…
Why can’t Qrow be Summer’s friend?
Why does he have to be her lover?
We’ve seen Qrow talk about Innkeeper’s skirt lengths and leer at Barmaids who flirted with him.
Also, he’s shown to be bonding with both Clover and Robyn.
People act like he doesn't flirt with anyone , and yet he does.
17. “Bad Luck Charm” Qrow has spent his whole life with his semblance, named after a Crow.
Raised by the Branwen bandit tribe.
“You and I are not the same, you don’t want the burden of my name” Both Branwen and Qrow are names that Qrow hates due to his semblance and past…
People may think of him as cool, but Qrow suffers from self-loathing.
So NO, the Bad Luck Charm song does NOT in fact allude to Qrow being Ruby’s father, but that Qrow hates himself, hence a major part of why he’s alcoholic.
Proof of which is his volume 6 exchange with Ozpin about being useful, which Qrow disagrees with, leading him to drink further. Yang literally said that she had never seen qrow so drunk before in v6.
And Ruby encourages his self-worth leading him to try giving up alcohol….
His alcoholism is tied to low-self-esteem, not relationships.
18. Manga Anthology
Taiyang was shown in the Manga Anthology to have shut down upon Summer’s Death. That impacted his relationship with Ruby and Yang. Qrow? Is relatively unaffected. The good Uncle helping around the house. Taiyang haters and Qrow stans took this to demand that Qrow is entitled to Ruby, despite Taiyang recovering and doing his best to be a father. Anything Qrow does is worshipped like Mother Teresa, while anything Taiyang does, good or bad, is downplayed and smashed. Taiyang loved Summer so much he was devastated by her death. Qrow was unaffected. Think about that.
19. “I like Brats” Why does Qrow spend time with kids he’s not related to? Because he likes kids. You know how there are adults who enjoy being around brats? That’s Qrow. He didn’t have romantic feelings for Summer, he liked being around her because she was like a kid. Similar to how Blake likes Ruby’s idealism? And trusts her leadership?
20. “Taiyang the 2-timer accusation”
A woman on youtube claimed that Taiyang was a 2-timer who cheated on raven with summer, as there was, in her and her friends’ minds, “no way that taiyang could be with half his team” When asked about TaiQrow as a joke, she was angered that people even ship TaiQrow.
But let me ask you this. Are you the same person you are now that you were 10 years ago? People claim that Qrow was somehow cool in beacon…because he’s cool now. But Taiyang, who raises two kids, and holds a job and a house…cannot be ruby’s father…because he’s not cool? And that somehow he was never cool? I’m sorry, I didn’t know you had to be cool to be a parent. I also had no idea people were only allowed to be in one relationship per lifetime. Raven freaking abandoned Tai for the tribe. Summer chose Taiyang over Qrow. People literally make Qrow out to be either an OC in a shipping fanfic, or a Naruto fanfic where Naruto is written to be fawned over by a girl whose canonical spouse, boyfriend, or male friend is somehow rewritten as evil.
1 year…..in 1 year since Raven abandoned Taiyang and Yang, Summer Rose the friend of Taiyang’s who he had known for 4 years, became more than a friend.
So no….Taiyang is not a two-timer…he moved on from Raven.
22. “Why can’t Taiyang talk about Summer?” To WHO? He’s barely got 15 minutes of screentime, and the writers did NOT do him any favors when they had Qrow demand he leave so Qrow could tell Ruby a secret Ozpin trusted him with, before telling Ruby to run away from home leaving only a freaking note. Terrible daughter. Even Yang was prepared to do the same! To a man whose first wife abandoned him! At least Weiss has a legit reason for acting as she does against Jacques, several at least. Ruby? No. Now why would Taiyang talk about Summer’s fighting style to Yang when trying to get her to stop acting like Raven in her fighting style and semblance? Sure if there was more time…but RT at the end of the day isn’t some money-hungry political entity, it’s a startup at the end of the day, they don’t have the ability to do a full anime episode. Also, Taiyang cannot go out on these active missions…he was a schoolteacher who did not do missions until only recently…he was retired, remember.
23. “These fanworks make more sense to me”
Qrow fans have tried using fanworks to justify their theory or ship, the same way Blacksun fans or Adam apologists make similar claims, and even Raven fans try to claim Raven is somehow a good mother. What do these fanworks do? Hate on Taiyang. Dismiss Ruby and Yang being half-blood siblings. Ignore multiple elements of the show or scenes. Occasionally shit-talk the writers.
Every time somebody tries to make a “rwby rewrite” or “rwby alt” or “Qrow is ruby’s father au” they cannot do it without completely rewriting the characters in so many forms and even the show, till Qrow, Raven, Taiyang, and Summer are NOTHING like they are in the show…And ONLY how a shipper wants qrow to be.
Or rewriting qrow to be nothing like he is in the show.
Most Alt or Rewrite consists of making Taiyang abusive, a cheater, or refusing to allow him to interact with Summer, while regularly pushing qrowxsummer at each other.
So no…it’s not that it makes sense to them through some fanart….a headcanon that has been debunked is no longer headcanon. A theory that is shut down is no longer a theory. There’s a reason anti-vaxxers and flat-earthers still exist. Because to them, their theories make more sense than reality. Which is why people still believe Qrow is Ruby’s father the same way people believe vaccines cause autism. Neither are true, and no amount of facts will shut them down, but they’re both popular theories.
24. “Qrow Rings and Cross”
People claim that Qrow was married to Summer or that his cross represents him mourning Summer. Did the STRQ photo, in v3, the same volume as his appearance, not show Qrow with his rings, his cross, and angrily scowling, while Summer was right next to Taiyang?
25. “What about Summer Rose’s choice?”
Remember how I said making Qrow’s character based on solely Ruby and Summer, ignoring everything regarding the tribe and ozpin giving him hope, and the grimm reaper…was bad writing? There’s a reason people hated v5. Raven was proven to be the deadbeat, Qrow was shown to have friends, and that Taiyang knew about Salem, and of course it was confirmed that Yang and Ruby again were sisters by Raven.
Now how about Summer? Team leader….took a man and a daughter who were abandoned by her friend…and made them her own. Yang calls Summer Rose “Supermom” and “Her Hero”…was literally willing to storm a bandit camp so Raven could use her portal to take Yang to Qrow, so she could get to Ruby. And yeah, I know the RWBY critics scream “why didn’t Yang just look for Ruby in Mistral?” It’s a bloody kingdom, and Yang was pursuing a lead, that Tai had given her, and Qrow told Yang he’d look after her sister. Remember that? Oh wait, RWBY Critics forget, my bad. Anyway, she’s more of a sister to Qrow than his blood sister Raven, she’s more of a mother to Yang than Raven, and she’s more of a spouse to Tai than Raven. Good Stepmother. Non-married couple. Relationship built on trust. Blood is not the same as family. (Example Weiss’s remark to her father) (Or Dom Toretto)
So making Summer into a throw-away character who dies so that a brooding jerk of an alcoholic can claim character development? Making a woman nothing except a throw-away for a man to get development is BAD WRITING. For God’s Sakes, even Pyrrha was written better than that! She interacted with team rwby, nora was always helping her out, and so was Ren (though those shakes are a crime against humanity” But when Qrow fans try to demand he’s ruby’s father? Their fanworks make Summer as much of a flat character as Preston Harvey from Fallout 4, where they make Summer unable to do anything but be obsessed with Qrow and having his child, similar to how Preston cannot think of anything other than “Another settlement needs your help, I’ll mark it on your pip-boy”
26. Finally, the accusations that CRWBY are lying.
“You have to be ****** if you believe CRWBY when they say Qrow isn’t Ruby’s father” “CRWBY is lying, it’s what writers do” “It’s okay for writers to lie, it’s good for plot” “I’d prefer it if CRWBY was lying to us” “Monty is dead, the writers should change it now” “Monty is dead, nothing else in the writing matters” “Monty was hiding the truth from us” “CRWBY is hiding the truth about Qrow being Ruby’s father” “It makes sense for CRWBY to lie to us” Look at this…Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit, instagram…. The first quote? Was a woman who was using an anti-autism anti-disability slur defending the theory. Never have I ever seen people so obsessed with a theory that they would deny reality and be rude to the very writers and original creator. But the QrowxSummer and Qrow is Ruby’s Father fandom group has made countless cases of this. THIS is how they defend their theory? And people upvote, like and support these remarks? SHAME SHAME SHAME
Conclusion:
I get how people desire qrow to be Ruby’s father for ships or fanfics.
Even to where they make Taiyang a hated character just for the sake of making sure nobody disagrees with them.
But the attacking of RWBY and CRWBY, claiming that “this needs to be fixed”, or getting angry at RT for not giving you the non-canon ship you want? Claiming that just because you want it to be so, that somehow your ship/theory has “validity?”
That reflects poorly on the fandom and critics.
But then again…. It’s easy to ignore what’s real and what’s a fact that when theorists and ship-pushers and CRWBY Haters on youtube tells you to stop listening to monty and the writers, and instead believe whatever you want and claim whatever you want, Because surely you know what’s better for the show than the people who worked on it, right? Ha ha ha, no. THAT is the ULTIMATE disrespect somebody calling themselves a fan could ever give. And if you think or agree with that type of logic, you should look in the mirror.
I looked for backup sources to defend CRWBY and RWBY, you’ll find them below.

Life is Dream: A Rosegarden story
Chapter 1- Once Upon A Time
Ruby’s eyes watered as the crisp air breezed in front of her face as she fell.
She had watched as her two teammates swooped down the void, only to be swallowed by a golden glimmer. By then, time had slowed down, and she thought about what could happen. Only to be eclipsed by the thought of her sister alone, wherever she might have ended up, waiting for her.
The battle had been arduous, and she had had a hard time tracking down her friends’ whereabouts during most of it, but when it had all quieted down, when Nora had placed a hand on her shoulder with a million questions in her blue eyes, the roar of the answer thumped in her ears.
Penny had understood right there and then, hugging her friends one by one- ‘do what you have to do.’
Jaune nodded gravely, thinking that if he were in their position, he’d do anything to bring his teammates back. ‘We’ll take it from here on out.’
There was no guidance, no certainty of what could happen, of what laid beyond the darkness. But Blake was trembling, her grasp on Gambol Shroud whitening her knuckles. Weiss held on Blake, afraid she might jump alone.
The decision had been made.
A tingling sensation distracted her thoughts, and with a rueful wonder she realized golden shimmers began to dance on her skin.
‘This is it, then.’ She barely had the ability to think before lighting gold consumed her. She felt herself fall asleep and tiredly closed her eyes.
Oscar opened his eyes at the insistence of Emerald. She had probably been trying to shake him awake for a while now judging by the tender expression she tried to conceal with fake annoyance.
Sitting up on his bed, he noticed that the quarters he shared with the rest of his team was empty.
The sunlight streamed harshly through the willowing blinds, telling him that it was way too late to be sleeping.
“Should have woken you up earlier but you nearly fell asleep on your dinner last night, so we thought it would be better to let you sleep in a bit more.” She explained as she slid open her Scroll, checking the itinerary for the day.
Mind still heavy with sleep, Oscar placed his bare feet on the cold floor. The frigid clay under his soles roused him enough so he began mentally preparing for the day.
“What have we got today on the agenda?”
Emerald rolled her eyes and thrusted a paper bag into the teen’s hands.
“Breakfast rolls with honey. Seriously Oscar, you barely ate last night and now you’re insisting on intermittent fasting? This is why even Little Red’s taller than you!” She jeered at his sudden bouts of sleepiness over the past month.
Oscar smiled, pained. Everyone up until now had been walking on eggshells regarding team RWBY, hushing down when they mentioned them, fearing guilt and sadness. But Emerald, who in her pragmatism did what had to be done, and said what needed to be said, did not care too much about being gentle with expectations.
It was weird. A month had passed since the exodus from Mantle and Atlas, and the remaining members of team JNPR were crestfallen, yet tried to ignore the growing negativity stemming in their hearts. They treated Oscar with care, trying to ignore the four missing links in their lives.
Surprisingly, Emerald and Penny were the only ones keeping hope.
Penny was hopeful and reverent. She had been made of alloy, bolts and dolts. But now she wore shoes, sand was annoying, and she could taste food. Anything was possible in this wide world of theirs.
For Emerald, it was more about seeing impossible feats of ancient wonder, something in her ears whispering that there were more incredible feats of magic to be revealed in her time alive. She felt that third chances in life were rare, and thus, grasped at its stray hairs strongly.
So they stuck by Oscar as the task of repatriation began at dawn and ended at dusk.
It had been a grueling month at Vacuo, nobody was happy to have the Atlesians in their land. The citizens of Mantle fared better, they had been humbled when they huddled close together back at the crater in the Motherland. But the Atlas elite? They could not wait for Mistrali ships to come in hoards to get them to colder ground. They revolted, nothing was up to their elevated standards.
But Theodore was nothing but pragmatic, as all Vacuans were, and a night off in the deserts shut the bunch of them up. The ones who made it back that is.
“Alright, I’ll stuff my face with honeyed bread rolls and spiced tea if it makes you happy.” Conceded Oscar after he tied up his boots and threw on the airy cotton cape on his shoulders. He had decided on a lighter fabric for his stay in Vacuo, the gauzy green tunic emboldened with red and white trimmings, and his loose cotton pants were good enough for the mighty sun that beat on the roofs of the deserts.
Emerald smiled despite herself. She and Penny had taken on the big sister role whenever Nora wasn’t there to mother Oscar to hell and back. It had taken some time to get used to, but for anyone that was not privy to the Fall of Beacon, Emerald was just Oscar’s older sister, who emerged at the Fall of Atlas.
Over the course of the weeks she proved herself, as a true Vacuan, and as a true ally.
“C´mon then. There’s a bunch of convoy ships from Argus and Vale willing to take in some snooty idiots in exchange of supplies. Don’t make Nora wait for you more, she’s missed on her hugging quota for the morning.” With a pat on his head, Emerald walked Oscar to the door, and off they were.
The day blurred by Oscar’s eyes, now and again stifling an inconvenient yawn, but nevertheless, persisted during the course of his workday.
Every day there were less Atlesians to send off, and less Mantle citizens who wanted to leave. Like May tended to say, Mantle knows how to show their teeth.
The migratory system they had built recorded every single citizen that wanted to leave or stay under Theodore’s watchful eye. The controls were harsh since there was no way to know if Neopolitan had blended into the crowd at all. Given that Emerald told Theodore and every staff member in Shade that they were to expect Tyrian and Mercury sooner rather than later, security had been the top priority these days.
In between tending to the wounded and sick, delivering supply packets to the tents of refugees, and breaking up fights, Oscar was beat by dusk.
By that time, Theodore insisted Oscar to keep their sparring sessions until he felt that Oscar moved and fought with more fluidity than the day before.
“Squirt,” Theodore would say, “I know Oz has taught you some things, but he was a dandy and thought that battle was graceful matter.” The rippled headmaster would flex and show him how merciless battle was.
Under the strongman’s tutelage, Oscar’s body ached and grew. With Ozpin’s mentoring in his head, his magic grew and he felt something inside of his soul bubble to the surface.
But at the end of the day, when Jaune was sitting right by his side, and Nora was babbling a ten miles per second into his hearing canal, he felt his shoulders drop their tension. He shot a thankful glance at Ren, who was casually conversing with Emerald, but still kept an eye on the youngest of their group. Penny and Nora, two ginger parakeets with insurmountable force and joy lulled his thoughts, until he sagged forward and faceplanted in his tomato soup.
The resounding splash alerted Jaune who quickly pulled Oscar’s face from the cold soup by grabbing him by the collar of his tunic. Oscar’s lack of reaction, and his fluttering eyelids greeted the blond huntsman, flooding him with worry.
The chatter died.
Nora leaned the boy to her side and grabbed his tanned cheeks, wet with stock, and panicked at his quivering eyelids.
Semi-conscious as he were, Oscar saw the motions at the table like photographs forming a standstill gallery inside his mind, the sounds dull and his feeling numb.
Nora and Emerald crowding over him, worried expressions marring his face.
Penny and her cold hands framing his cheeks, her confused expression.
Jaune’s golden aura around his vision as it tunneled.
Lastly, Theodore’s frown before he closed his eyes and tumbled into sleep.
__________________________________________
Ruby tumbled out of bed confused.
Her heartbeat alert and scared, her eyes darted to the four walls surrounding her. Sweet and spices reached her nose, the colourful walls held handmade tapestries and idyllic paintings. The rug that had cushioned her fall was fluffy, and the blanket tangling in her legs felt like a familiar hug.
“Where am I?”
Ruby struggled to stand up, and once she did, she gasped at herself.
In front of her, a mirror held her image. But it was all wrong. She wore a frilly white dress, with white stockings, red lace and ribbons, and her hair was tied in two tiny pigtails. She looked adorable.
And she hated it.
“Where’s-“ she looked at the nearest wardrove, and opened its doors as fast as she could. Rifling through the cutesy dresses, she was taken aback by a familiar skirt.
Holding the black dress with the black combat skirt, she wondered how her Beacon outfit appeared in the room she was in.
She stopped dead on her tracks.
“I’m not in Atlas anymore, am I?”
Clutching the dress to her chest, she slid down to the carpeted floor. She felt a bubble of panic come over her as she remembered the last events of her life.
“Right, Neo struck Yang, and Yang… She fell. We fought Cinder. And she died. I think. Then we…jumped.”
Ruby looked her hands over, turning them this way and that, as if they were given to change at any moment now.
“And-“ Ruby wheezed, close to hyperventilation. She trembled as she remembered flashes of the fight against Cinder, how Blake evolved her Semblance and fought as three copies of herself, about Neo striking the wrong Blake, and being fallen by the original one. Cinder taunting how she used Jinn, revealing their plans. Penny fell to the golden plateau, and then in a fit of rage, silver.
No more Cinder. Probably.
Her heart running like a wild animal under her chest, she took deep breaths as she tried to calm down. She rubbed the black fabric between her thumb and pointer finger, the texture was light to the touch. In the bottom frill, she found her name embroidered by her own hand. It was supposed to be comforting, but it only fueled her confusion.
A few tears threatened to spill, but then several knocks on the door startled her.
“Darling! Breakfast is ready!” a familiar voice called out to her outside the door.
In a haze, Ruby stood up and let the dress fall from her hands. She marched to the door and opened it in a swift motion, scaring the poor woman in front of it.
“Little Red! What sort of behaviour is this!?” An old woman that looked and sounded like María Calavera chided her, hands on her hips as she glowered annoyed at the teen.
“María! It’s you!” Elated, Ruby swooped in to hug the woman, who patted her back confusedly.
“Oh dear, now you’re calling your grandma by her first name too! Did you hit your head when you woke up this morning? What’s wrong with you?” Not-María held Ruby at arms length, checking her head for any injuries.
“Huh?”
Not-quite-María tutted, before guiding Ruby by the hand to the kitchen area of the cottage they seemed to be in.
“Little Red, you seldom ever visit me, and now you’re calling me by my name! Your mother hasn’t been disciplining you as she should!”
More confused than ever, Ruby sat on the stool offered by Not-Really-María.
The old woman sighed before plopping a plate of sausages, beans with crema and tortillas in front of her.
“Repeat after me, Little Red: Abuela María. Ah..Boo-Eh-Lah. Abuela.” Ruby looked at Abuela María in mild shock.
“Abuela?”
The Abuela María nodded satisfied and patted her hand.
“Now, after we finish mending that cape of yours, please give this basket of goodies to your mother for me. Oh! And thank her for the nice fabrics she sent with you, will you?”
Still starstruck, Ruby stared at Abuela María, not yet understanding anything that was happening in front of her.
“My…mother?”
Abuela María nodded, quite exasperatedly at her not-quite-granddaughter. She flipped her gray-haired braid over her shoulder and began repairing the red cape as she mumbled about ‘youth these days’.
“Yes, dear. Summer Rose. My daughter, your mother.”
More confused than anything, Ruby brought her hand up and mercilessly slapped her cheek. Abuela María looked at Ruby curiously, halting her sewing for a moment before resuming.
“But-but!” Ruby stuttered, holding her stinging cheek under her palm. “We don’t look anything alike!”
“My dear!” began Abuela María. “Silver eyes run in our family! Look!”
Abuela María removed her thick rimmed glasses and pointed at her eyes.
But all Ruby could see was a puckered red bruise, swollen and hurt. It slashed from her right temple to her left, there was not much to be said about eyes, as there were none.
Feeling not quite in a dream, but more in a bizarre nightmare, she stood up, the wooden stool clattering behind her.
Abuela María, with her glasses still removed and acting normally, bit off the last thread on the eye of her needle and folded the red cape neatly, offering it to Ruby.
Smiling sweetly, but with her disturbing red scarring across her visage, she gifted Ruby a basket filled with fruits, cheeses and breads, and pushed her through the cabin’s threshold.
Ruby looked petrified at the old lady that looked like her mentor but was nothing like her.
“Take this basket to your mother, will you? Be careful of the Big Bad Wolf, don’t let it bite you!”
Laughing merrily, the old woman closed the door on Ruby, leaving her alone in the cabin’s porch.
Jarred and perturbed, Ruby walked away from the cabin thoughtlessly, and into the winding roads that crossed the forest.
Only once she reached a small ravine, did she sit on the forest floor and pushed to her face the cape that smelled like home, like Yang and Qrow and Weiss and Blake and everyone she knew, did she weep.
For the longest time she cried, but after a while she felt her tears dry up, her shoulders stopped their heaving, and her heart dulled to a somber beat.
Ruby wiped her tears with the cape and splashed her face with the cool water from the ravine. She looked at her reflection, and disliking the pigtails pulling the hair at her nape, she tugged at the elastics and ruffled her hair. She bunched the skirt in her fists.
Annoyed at her dress, she looked down to it expecting to see white ruffles on white lace, she was caught off guard when she found herself wearing a black version of the dress she had woken up into.
As much as she marveled at this feat of reality writing itself, she feared it.
Taking one last look at her reflection, and tugging on the hood on her cape, she trudged into the deep forest, following the map she was given and hoped for the best.

What makes you like May so much? I notice that despite her relatively little screen time and character development, she’s in a LOT of your top 3 ships. Not hate or anything, just always curious when people latch on to minor characters
Alrighty, let’s unpack May Marigold. Like you said, she doesn’t have a lot of screen time or character development, but even if a character isn’t featured much, there are still ways you can like them right away. Funnily enough, some of the reasons I like May are the same reasons I liked Qrow from his first season even though he didn’t get a lot of focus and we knew very little about him.
1. Mannerisms, body language, and attitude
I like expressive characters, I like characters who are dry or feisty or both, I like characters who can be in tense situations and look totally bored, I like joking characters and mock politeness and winks and attitude. May has a dry wit and an air of devil-may-care behavior around her that I find really appealing in a character. But she also has a society upbringing and it leaks into her actions here and there and that adds interest. She feels really distinctive. Also since the mains have started all seeming a bit... interchangeable, May is a nice change of pace in that way. Everyone in the above image is making pretty much the same face, but May, who looks like she couldn't be more bored.
2. She's someone I want to root for
When Team RWBY wanted to pretend they were in a situation where they could save everyone and everyone could win, May recognized what they were too stubborn and illogical to. May was the voice of experience and reason in that situation that point blank told them ‘there’s no saving everyone, you have to choose.’ And I mean, I was on Ironwood’s side in volume seven before he shot Oscar, but May not only has a point in what she says and in her goals, but has follow through (something Ruby didn’t have.) She wants to launch Amity Tower and so accompanies Team RWBN while feeling assured that Ruby’s friends are making up for her loss in protecting Mantle, she resolves to help Mantle after the Tower is launched with the statement that Atlas has soldiers defending it while Mantle does not and therefore she’s of better use there, and then she does what she says she was going to and goes to protect the people of Mantle even though she did it alone because Team RWB couldn’t choose anything. While Team RWB was hiding out in a mansion drinking tea, May was actually determined to do something. May is a flawed character, she calls Penny ‘robo-girl’ and gets called out for it, she’s aggressive with Marrow, she’s partially responsible for the delay of Amity being launched, and she seems to follow Robyn with too much devotion imo (considering my dislike of Robyn lol, I think this is fair.) But she’s also determined to help those in need and is willing to follow through, and uses actual logic to see the situation for what it is and understands her own limitations. Between annoying protagonists with impossible idealistic standards that act like they never have to change who feel very insincere, former heroes who have gone crazy and who might be actually fighting and trying to do good but are also down to murder anyone and therefore can’t be supported, and villains who are getting ‘redeemed’ in the sloppiest and least convincing ways possible... May stood out as someone who is trying to be both smart and caring, brave and compassionate, but realistic. Ironwood was no longer allowed to be seen in a good light and so was turned into a puppy kicking maniacal ball of crazy willing to torture and bomb just to get his way, and Ruby was not allowed to be seen as wrong or failing and so the whole narrative was about how good and right she was even if she didn’t accomplish her goal or earn a victory because hey, at least she made a rousing speech and yelled at anyone who wanted to do something she deemed not enough. May was allowed to be a moral character who just disagreed with Ruby, she was allowed to make mistakes without it either being treated as monstrous or quickly covered with pretty words about how everyone knows she’s still great. May was allowed to be a character without the authors constantly reminding us of what they want us to think of her. Maybe if she’d been in one of the earlier seasons, she wouldn’t have been as compelling to me (because that wasn’t a rarity lol,) but compare her to Ruby now and she’s amazing. Also she told Ruby she was wrong, and she may have softened it later, but still, it was one of the better parts of the whole volume. Ruby needs more people who are willing to give her hard truths, instead of people who are going to agree with and support her no matter what.
3. Potential
When it comes to characters, the first thing I really look at is if they’d be good in fan fictions, how I’d use them, how I could see them interacting in this or that scenario, and what dynamics I think they’d have. A lot of this has very little to do with actual canon, like wondering how she’d fit into a fake organization full of OCs I’d written into a couple of fan fics or wondering what her dynamic would be with the redeemed Roman Torchwick and Emerald and Mercury that I’ve often centered my stories around. But some of it is stuff like ‘How would May see Winter? What sort of tension might May have with her in Vacuo?’ ‘How would May get along with Sun and Neptune in Vacuo?’ ‘When the others get back from the void, what will May be doing?’ Much like I took to the cocky but clearly more under the surface winking argumentative Qrow in his very first season, I like what little I’ve seen of her and hope I get more of what makes her an appealing character to me later. And much like I got attached to Neo after even her very minor appearances in the first three seasons and started including her as the babied little sister figure of Roman somehow three times more cut throat than him that takes his word as gospel, I like May for what I can see her turning into in my fics even if she’s never given a lot of focus or room to grow or (God forbid) gets her character thrown to the wolves.
Also, as for shipping her with people, I feel like since she hasn’t yet taken a lot of screen time and we are wondering at how she’ll interact with people once things aren’t so tense, it’s easy to imagine her with a lot of people just because I haven’t been put off by any interactions and relationships that were badly handled or that just don’t vibe. I think I’ve listed her in the top three ships with Ilia, Sun, and Blake, and omg I just realized how funny it is that I listed May as a possible romance for all three of them. XD These ships are pretty casual, as I was looking for numbers and I’ve shipped Sun and Blake for so long, it’s hard to picture them with anyone else and there are pretty big road blocks in shipping them with many of the other mains, and I hadn’t really considered many ships for Ilia before writing the post. May just happened to be a ship I saw that I thought ‘that could be pretty cute, actually.’ However, thinking about her and Sun...
Idk, I just think it’d be neat. If BlackSun can’t be canon, this just might be my second choice. Sun is a bright, caring, loyal optimist who isn’t afraid to get serious and emotionally vulnerable and is also down for some low grade crime here and there. He values independence, he’s not pushy, but he’s also not afraid to challenge and call people out. May is cynical and a bit jaded, puts her trust in people maybe a little too much, but is also feisty and sharp witted and has a quick tongue, and she’s compassionate and willing to get her hands dirty and put what she thinks needs to be done over what others want and she’s realistic and gutsy. Also he’s got blonde hair and blue eyes and she’s got blue hair and honey colored eyes, so... Yeah. I don’t know, because it’s so hard trying to ship anything other than BlackSun for him, but there might be something the writers could work with there.

Okay, so if you're up for it, how about something with Team RWBY getting all dressed up for the Schnee Mansion Dinner (that they know probably wont end well but whateves) and have the bees not only be awestruck at each others outfits but, I dunno, have a cute little moment where one of them fixes the other up and they just get lost in each others eyes for a moment? If this could feature Suffering!Weiss that would be the cherry on top.
I like where your mind’s at, mate.
There is a bit of angst regarding Adam not allowing Blake to really explore her gender expression and how she wants to present herself. Naturally, Yang puts those insecurities to rest.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
“Grapes!”
Despite the whole Schnee dinner situation being less than ideal for Blake, she couldn’t help but smile her partner’s grumble of frustration from the bathroom.
“You know…” Blake called pulled her short hair into a low ponytail, leaving some out to frame her face. “You could just swear. You’re a big girl.”
“Blake. A little less sass, please.” Came the disgruntled reply, but Blake’s sensitive hearing picked up on a quiet laugh.
“You like my sass.” Blake called cheekily as she gave herself a once over.
She was wearing a suit, black blazer with gold accents and the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, short sleeved light purple button down under her blazer, form fitting black pants and black heels with gold accents. She smiled at herself, adjusting the black tie so that it was a little looser than was strictly appropriate for Atlesion culture.
She didn’t think that a lot of Atlesians would be impressed with a woman wearing a suit. Especially the Schnees. But she really couldn’t care less. She had always felt more comfortable in more masculine clothes. Oh yes, she enjoyed dresses and makeup. But there was something about a more masculine or androgynous style of clothing that felt far more like her.
She had never been free to explore her gender expression like this before. Adam had always been so controlling. Quietly suggesting certain styles. Pointing her to what he expected of women. How he wanted her to look.
And it hurt. It hurt to conform to another’s expectations of her. It hurt believing that who she wanted to be, wasn’t beautiful to him. So she let go of that style that felt so natural to her. Each time he told her that women don’t wear this or women don’t do that… she felt another little piece of her crack.
But she was free. Her cracks were filling with gold and her wounds were healing. Yes, she still hurt. Yes, she still felt his influence over her. But it was growing less and less the further she got from him. She knew now that how he treated her wasn’t right. That it wasn’t love. It was pain and it was control. She was never a partner, but a possession.
And now? She could be herself. She could be a dork. She could be bold and confident. She could be playful. She could laugh and smile. She could express herself and the people she cared about would listen to her. She was allowed to be angry and passionate. She was allowed to be Blake.
And she could finally look in the mirror and see the woman she wanted to be.
“Dammit.” Yang cursed. “Hey, Blake?”
“Yes, Yang?” Blake answered as she ran a final check in her makeup.
“Um.” Yang sounded embarrassed. “The back of this stupid dress is giving me trouble. Could you zip me up?”
“Of course.” Blake said as she walked over to their bathroom and knocked on the door. “Is it safe to come in?”
She heard a click and waited a moment before walking in, giving Yang time to cover up.
And when she did? Blake was sure she was having a heart attack. Yang had opted for a gold gown that carried past her knees, down to mid shin. The collar of the dress sat around her neck, keeping the dress up but the zipper, starting at the base of her spine and stopping in between her shoulders. It wasn’t too loose, nor too form fitting, showing off toned arms and shoulders. Blake felt her mouth run dry.
“Blake?” Yang called over her shoulder.
“Oh.” Blake snapped her shelf out of it and approached Yang, taking a moment to acknowledge the fact that she held the slightest height advantage when she was in heels and Yang was barefoot. “Sorry.”
She approached Yang and gently pulled the sides of the dress together and started to pull up the zipper.
‘Huh. She even has freckles on her back.’ Blake thought to herself before a flush coated her cheeks. Maybe it would be better if she stopped focusing on her back. ‘Even if it t is a nice back.’
Blake’s face was definitely red as she pulled the zipper up, a shiver running through Yang as Blake’s knuckles accidentally grazed her spine. She made sure that the zipper wouldn’t come undone and stepped back, letting out a shaky breath when Yang turned around to smile gratefully at her. Her makeup, though Blake had already seen it considering she had done it, didn’t over power her features. Instead it emphasised them and Blake was pretty sure she was going to die because Yang was a dangerous amount of gorgeous.
Yang’s smile fell slightly, mouth falling open as she looked Blake up and down, pulling her bottom lip between her teeth and biting it, a blush of her own coating her cheeks.
“Wow.” Yang whispered, walking up to Blake and pausing, a surprised look crossing her features when she had to look ever so slightly up. Blake knew it would be short lived untilYang put in her own shoes but she still enjoyed the slightly flustered expression on Yang’s face. “That- you look incredible.”
“Me?” Blake laughed softly, eyes softening when Yang reached up to adjust her blazer. “I’m wondering if I’m looking at my partner or an angel.”
She giggled as Yang’s blush darkened and she continued fiddling with Blake jacket.
“Shut up.” Yang huffed, stepping closer unconsciously. Blake’s hands instinctively found their way to Yang’s waist as the brawler ran her hands over Blake’s shoulders, straightening out her jacket. “Let me successfully compliment you this one time.” She whined with a pout, her hands moving to Blake’s collar and adjusting it.
“Now, where’s the fun in that?” Blake murmured, gaze on Yang’s face as the woman carefully adjusted Blake blazer. When it was deemed adjusted, she looked up at Blake and caught her staring.
“You’re staring.” Yang said whispered, hands still resting on Blake’s shoulders.
“Can you blame me?” Blake said softly, ears relaxing as Yang’s thumbs stroked her shoulders. “You’re beautiful.”
Yang’s eyes widened and she bit her lip, smile fighting its way into her face.
“I-“ Yang let out a nervous laugh. “Thank you. You look beautiful, too.” She paused, a thought coming to mind before she spoke again. “Or do you prefer handsome?”
“Oh.” Blake blinked in surprise. Having somebody ask her what she felt more comfortable with was certainly a new feeling. “No, I’m okay with beautiful.”
“Okay.”
“Yeah.”
The two women stood quietly in each other’s arms, gazing into each other’s eyes, more than okay with letting the world pass them by.
“You… really like it?” Blake asked, old insecurities getting the best of her as she gazed at Yang in concern.
“It doesn’t matter what I think.” Yang said gently, reaching up to cup Blake’s jaw. “What matters to me is that you feel comfortable. That you feel like you. Your beautiful because of who you are, Blake, not what you are. But I will say this…” Yang grinned at her, a playful glint in her beautiful lilac eyes. “You definitely need to wear suits more often. They suit you.”
“Thank-“ Blake blinked as her mind processed the pun and she let out a pained groan, dropping her head to the crook of Yang’s neck as the other woman snorted. “Why are you like this?” She complained, despite the smile on her face and the giggle bubbling from her lips.
“You love it.”
Blake pulled back to haze at Yang, shaking her head fondly at her ridiculous partner, another giggle falling from her lips as she butted her forehead against Yang’s affectionately.
“I… suppose I am kind of fond of you.” She murmured, smile soft and tender. “Terrible puns and all.”
“Just kind of fond?” Yang questioned in a manner that was almost coy, tugging Blake closer by her jacket. “Don’t lie. I’m the best thing that ever happened to you.” Yang smirked cockily, hands on Blake’s shoulders again.
“You won’t get any argument from me there, Yang.” Blake whispered, pulling Yang as close as possible by her waist, thumbs stoking soothing circles into it.
Yang’s smug expression slowly dropped into something more unsure and vulnerability.
“No?” She asked, voice thick, eyes averting self-consciously.
“Yang.” Blake said gently, bringing Yang’s gaze back to her with a gentle hand on her jaw. “You were, are and will continue to be the best decision that I could ever make.”
Yang’s eyes widened before she leaned into Blake’s palm, gazing at her with a tenderness that made Blake’s heart stutter.
Neither girl said anything, lost in the moment and each other’s gaze. Blake with one hand on Yang’s waist and the other cupping her jaw, thumb stroking her cheek. Yang held onto said hand with her prosthetic one, thumb stroking the back of it as her other hand cupped the back of Blake’s neck.
“What is taking so-“ an indignant voice yelled as the door to the bathroom was pushed open. “Oh my God. Are you kidding me?!”
It was probably a good thing that Weiss interrupted otherwise they may have stood there forever.
“We have a dinner to get to! Stare at each other on your own time!” Weiss growled as she threw Yang’s shoes at her head, the blonde woman catching them effortlessly as she rolled her eyes at Blake, twirling a finger at her temple and mouthing “crazy” at her. Blake covered her giggle with her hand. “Blake! I told you to make sure you were both ready on time!”
“I got distracted.” Blake shrugged, smirking at a very angry Weiss. “So sue me.”
Blake tilted her head curiously when she noticed Weiss’s eye twitch. Was she developing a tic?
“Just… be down stairs in five.” Weiss said wearily. “Without wearing each other’s lipstick.”
And with that Weiss stormed off, leaving behind two flustered partners.
“Um.” Yang mumbled as she put on her low heels and held out her hand to Blake, who took it shyly, entwining their fingers. “We should go.”
Blake allowed herself to be led out of the room, smile soft.
“Hey, Blake?” Yang asked softly, gazing over at her with a small smile.
“Yes, Yang?”
“How much do you want to bet that Weiss will want to kill us by the end of the night?” Yang’s smile shifted into a playful smirk.
Blake let out a giggle and leaned her head on Yang’s shoulder as they walked, both girls more than content to walk quietly, smirks shifting to soft smiles as they enjoyed the presence of their beautiful partner.

RWBY Grimm Guardians Arc 4: Re-Bonding In Mistral Special I
Welcome back to Re-Bonding In Mistral! So, while we wait for chapter 5, here’s a special (first of a few) that will explain what Ruby and Yang are dealing with currently. This takes place during chapter 4 in the middle of the night.
Yes, it’s another nightmare segment. Featuring a NEW form of Cinder attacking Ruby. Yang will also explain her PTSD with the fight with Adam, so because of that, you are free to skip this chapter entirely.
This will also delve into what Ruby and Yang think about the events that happened in the canon Vol 3.
Note that the canon here will be treated as their nightmares or them having visions. It can be seen as EITHER.
As usual, please give constructive criticism and enjoy!
Disclaimer: Still own nothing. Though I do own Cinder’s unique design used here.

HORROR SECTION AGAIN. YOU KNOW THE RULES.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-
(???)
Ruby opened her eyes and looked around. Wherever she was, it was dark in all directions, the only light coming from her cloak. All she knew was that she was on an unfamiliar cliff-edge with a forest behind her. All under a moonless, starless sky.
Much to her relief, she also had her scythe on her... She slowly stood up, clutching her cloak around her as a cold wind wiped past her. The frigid temperatures made the teenager’s teeth chatter and her whole body shake as she put up her hood.
“Where...am I…?” The red cloaked teenager asked, before noticing...embers. She then felt heat in front of her from beyond the cliff, before a thunderous quake shook the earth beneath her and a volcanic explosion erupted from the abyss. Flames rose forth violently, some reaching a height that rivaled that of the Beacon Tower. Ruby sat down in shock, eyes wide as she witnessed the destruction in front of her.
She then turned and noticed the forest behind her was ENGULFED in flames.
Though that wasn’t the worst of it.
The red cloaked teenager then noticed a feminine figure, with a Grimm-like left eye, arm, and wing, along with a Grimm-like right leg, donning a red and gold dress. She swore the eye was radiating with FIRE. The teenager then saw an all familiar twisted and sadistic grin on the figure’s face, immediately realizing who the figure was. Someone she thought was either killed at Beacon...or arrested.
“CINDER!?” Ruby shouted, her jaw dropping in shock. “HOW!?”
The Fall Maiden grinned, letting out a sinister chuckle, “I think you saw her before...in a nightmare.” The red cloaked teenager raised an eyebrow, before her eyes went wide again, “Salem…” “Bingo….” Cinder smirked. “So you ARE not just some weapon crazed brat who got LUCKY.” The woman then fired a ball of flame from her mouth at the teenager, who only managed to dodge it thanks to her semblance.
“Quit running, runt…” The dressed woman chuckled, stopping the teenager in her tracks as the Maiden fired a beam of heat from her eye in front of Ruby. The teenager screeched to a halt, before deciding she’d have to fight her way out. She pulled out her scythe, before charging at the woman, only for the scythe to be caught by Cinder bare-handedly. Ruby’s eyes widened as she froze, both in shock and horror.
She was then kicked back, letting her weapon go from being caught off guard. After skidding to a halt on her back, the teenager slowly sat up as pain throbbed through her ribs. She then watched as Cinder tightened her hold on the scythe’s blade, crushing and shattering it entirely. “To think I actually FEARED you after Beacon…” The woman said, before grinning. “I must thank Salem for helping me CRUSH that fear!”
The teenager attempted to stand, only to be instantly lifted by her shirt’s collar by Cinder. Ruby could feel the heat radiating from the Fall Maiden. The woman’s hands, mouth, eyes, nose, torso, legs. It was as if Cinder had become a being of pure fire and volcanic energy. The teenager could also feel her heartbeat speeding up in panic. Fear began to take over as the teenager struggled weakly in Cinder’s grasp.
She then looked behind the Fall Maiden, before her eyes widened in horror, causing her struggling to cease.
Behind Cinder were the LIFELESS, BLOODIED, and BURNED bodies...of Yang, Weiss, Blake, Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, Ren, Oscar, Taiyang, Qrow, Raven, Zwei…
And even Summer.
All hope DRAINED from the teenager, before slowly facing her captor. The Fall Maiden grinned wickedly, “You actually THINK you can SAVE them…” The woman chuckled as tears ran down Ruby’s face. Cinder sighed, “Don’t look so sad. You’ll be joining them soon.” “Think of it as me doing you favor.” The woman sadistically smiled, before summoning a burning scimitar from her magic.
“Relax.” She grinned. “It’ll be over in an INSTANT.” Cinder then shoved the absurdly hot blade into Ruby’s abdomen, causing the teenager to scream in pain...
-hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-
(2:54 AM)
(In the Xiao-Long-Rose Family Home…)
Ruby bolted up with a scream, cold sweat dripping down her face, before she tried to catch her breath. She slowly noticed it was just a freakishly lucid nightmare. She was safe...and in her shared bedroom with Yang. Her roommate’s eyes fluttered open, before groaning. “Ruby? You alright?” Yang asked tiredly. It took a few moments, but the silver eyed teenager nodded slowly, “Y-Yeah… I thi-” She froze as she felt bile in the back of her throat, before bolting to the bathroom.
The blonde teenager immediately went after her in concern, entering the bathroom and holding her younger sister’s hair back as the younger of the two retched into the toilet. After emptying her stomach’s contents, Ruby continued to take deep breaths as Yang helped her wash her face and mouth out. “Sorry…” The silver eyed teenager whispered, her throat and neck sore. Yang gave a reassuring smile, “It’s okay… Do you want to talk about it somewhere privately?”
Ruby stayed silent for a few moments, before suggesting, “Backyard patio?” Her sister nodded, helping the young leader to her feet and quietly heading to the back of the house and outside. The two then sat on the steps, listening to the sounds of nature and looking up at the cloudless sky and the sea of stars. The younger of the two leaned against her big sister and sighed, “So, you remember Cinder?” The blonde raised an eyebrow, “You mean that bitch that tried to get us all killed at Beacon?”
The younger teenager nodded, “Yeah. The same one that tried to kill Pyrrha too.” “She...appeared in the nightmare…” She explained. “She...looked different. Like she wasn’t human anymore.” “Like that Vampier chick?” Yang asked.
Ruby nodded, before shrugging, “Maybe…? Cinder had...a Grimm arm and leg, as well as a wing. She...” The young leader paused, taking deep breaths again, before saying, “She looked like she came out of the pits of Hell.”
“Gods…” The older of the sisters whispered. Ruby nodded, “Yeah…”
The two of them sat in silence, taking in what Ruby had just said. Yang then sighed, “The...one who did this to Blake and I...has been appearing in my nightmares…” The silver eyed teenager grabbed the blonde’s left hand tightly as the blonde continued, “He...would goot me into attacking him… Either by….” “Killing Blake, you, and Weiss…” She explained with hesitation, her own grip on Ruby’s hand tightening. “Or simply threatening you all…”
The younger of the two tightly hugged her sister, before saying, “We need to tell Mom… Maybe…” “Maybe there’s a way we can stop or control our nightmares...or better, stop the ones who attacked us…” She explained. The blonde gave a small nod, returning the hug, “I can work with that…” The two sat like that for almost a minute, before Ruby pulled away and sighed, “I’ve been feeling...so angry with myself lately.”
“Same.” Yang nodded. “Been having dreams of...what could’ve happened differently.” The silver eyed teenager nodded in agreement, before asking, “You wanna go first?” The blonde nodded, before sighing, “So, you know my depression is still lingering, right?” Ruby nodded, raising an eyebrow, “Was it...worse in the dream?” “Oh yeah…” The blonde nodded, giving a halfhearted chuckle.
“It was...bad enough to the point where I...didn’t care about where Blake went…” She said. “I...don’t think she told us where she was going… I even pushed you away instead of asking you for help...” The young leader looked shocked, but for a completely different reason as she said, “Then we’ve...experienced a dream that had us do something that we’d...never do…”
When the blonde raised an eyebrow, Ruby explained, “You know how I left for Mistral with Mom and Uncle Qrow?” “Well, instead of telling any of you, I….left a half-assed note and left in secret.” She said. “I sent letters, but…” The younger teenager sighed, rubbing her eyes, “I...can’t believe that I...would NEVER tell any of you what I was doing…”
“I can’t believe I wouldn’t let any of you help me…” Yang said. “Or what Stepmom said about Mom was true.” The younger teenager raised an eyebrow, “You had a dream about that too?” The blonde nodded with a groan, “Yeah… And it was...pretty bad…” “The conversation went...as terrible as one would assume.” She explained. “Probably ruined whatever chance I had at reconnecting with Mom…”
The two sat in silence, not daring to bring up where Summer was in their dreams. They could only assume that in the dreams, the former STRQ leader...STAYED dead.
“Do you think we should get back to sleep?” Ruby asked, yawning. Yang shrugged, “Only if you think you’ll be able to.” A few more moments of silence passed, before the younger of the two sighed, “Not sure if I can… But I’ll try.” The blonde nodded, helping her sister up to her feet and back inside. Ruby quickly got a drink of water, while Yang got out a note for their dad.
After putting the note in their shared bedroom, the blonde got out a two-person sleeping bag, before placing it on the patio by the door. The younger teenager returned, yawning once more as she and her older sister got in the bag. “Thanks, Yang.” Ruby whispered with a tired smile. Yang chuckled and kissed her sister’s forehead, “You too, little sister. Wake me if you need anything.”
The silver eyed teenager nodded, huddling up next to the blonde, “Same with you. Good night, sis.” “Night, Ruby.” The older of the two smiled, before the two sisters fell asleep. This time, peacefully.

And that’s it for the first special! I hope you liked the new form I gave Cinder here, as well as her powers.
You can be certain that the form will be made real in the AU in the future.
So, yeah. The nightmare in Arc 3 Side Red III WAS done by Salem. I should’ve mentioned that before, but I’m doing it now.
Now, we TRULY move on to chapter 5 and the second half of Vol 5.

Hey Clyde! Love your reviews on RWBY. My question is about Ozpin. If he survived fighting Cinder, would the events of volume 4-6 still happen? I believe the only reason team RWBYJNR treated Ozpin that way was because he was with Oscar who basically looked like a kid to them. However, if he was still in his adult body, would they have been more respectful?
Hi, anon! Thank you! I’m actually super glad you asked this. I’ve touched on how Oscar’s age and looks have impacted how others perceive Ozpin a bit in other asks, but haven’t had the chance to compose a substantial meta about it. I will attempt to fix that here!
FYI, it’ll get decently image heavy from here on out.
First, as a general response to the question of whether the events of Volumes 4-6 would have changed if Ozpin had survived: absolutely. If only because Ozpin as a figurehead would have still been around to lead both his inner circle and function as a symbol of strength for the rest of the world. Unless he was completely incapacitated from the fight or something (like in a coma), the expectation is that Ozpin would have begun rebuilding his school. Glynda wouldn’t have been left alone to try and deal with a frozen Wyvern attracting grimm. Ironwood wouldn’t have been left to figure out where to go from here. Qrow wouldn’t have been sent on a mission to return Ozpin’s cane. The whole world (including Atlas) may have been less likely to panic with Ozpin there to provide perspective and support. Lionheart presumably would have been less inclined to betray him, at least so soon and so overtly. An Ozpin who will reincarnate at some unknown point is a future Lionheart problem, and therefore far less intimidating. An Ozpin who still lives and commands his inner circle is way more of a threat and Lionheart would be more likely to get caught. Remember that even Salem was surprised by how quickly Ozpin reincarnated and dove back into the game—all the baddies were banking on more time. So yes, a ton would have changed. The group’s focus is now more along the lines of, “So is Ozpin going to fix things and can we go back to school?” and less, “Ozpin is dead as a door nail and no one is able to fix things for us. Might as well go hunt Cinder ourselves.”
But onto the meat of the ask. Is the group treating Ozpin like they are at least partly because he’s in the body of a kid? That’s also a resounding ‘yes.’ Human beings, including the humans and the faunus that we write in fiction, are incredibly judgmental (for better and for worse) based on how someone else looks. If you’re able to see then you tend to prioritize that information over other aspects of a person. We create markers that we then learn and assume mean something when, much of the time, they don’t. Or, to put it another way, we create stereotypes. We can think about this in terms of gender presentation: a masculine-looking person giving orders is seen as the “boss” whereas a feminine-looking person giving orders is seen as a “bitch.” We can complicate that with race: we’re more likely to view a white woman giving orders as “assertive” when compared to a black man giving orders. That’s “aggressive.” From giving a girl long blonde hair when you want to cue people into the fact that she’s (supposedly) dumb, to making a man skinny when you want him to seem vulnerable, our media is chock-full of those markers, subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) encouraging us to read characters in particular ways. There’s a reason that Yang, the go-getter, is blonde whereas Blake, the bookworm, has black hair. There’s a reason that Cardin wasn’t designed as a twig and Jaune is a couple inches shorter than him. There’s even a reason why the sap the group collects is red rather than, say, yellow, orange, blue—literally any other color. Only red sap makes it look like Cardin is covered in blood when he attacks Jaune, thus increasing how much we read him as a threat. The characters’ designs matter.
What does all that have to do with Ozpin? Well, at the start of the series his markers all point to authority and wisdom. He’s a white man, for one. He dresses in a formal suit. There are nods towards his age (a cane, white hair) that tell us, despite his baby face, that he’s someone who has been around a while and thus has a great deal of experience to draw on. He’s also, significantly, tall. Take a look at how his talks with Ruby read visually.
Ruby is incredibly small compared to Ozpin. He towers above her and she’s constantly in a position of looking up to him, mirroring the ways in which she figuratively looks up to him for advice. Her mannerisms are also younger and don’t carry much confidence. Crossing her arms and sulking. Wringing her hands while asking if she’s made a mistake. The way Ruby moves contrasts Ozpin’s own very still, very composed mannerisms. Body language and facial expression is one of the primary ways that we communicate and the slightest change can carry a world of meaning. For example, compare these two shots of Yang from Volume 1 and Volume 6:
On the surface they appear quite similar, but provided there isn’t something impacting how we read these moments (such as some people with autism), we learn that these poses mean two very different things. Two hands on your waist is a relaxed pose; one hand on your waist is an arrogant pose. At least when combined with an angry expression. One arm, the placement of her eyebrows, and suddenly Yang’s attitude towards Ozpin has radically changed. We went from casual respect to defiance, and most viewers wouldn’t need to know anything else about RWBY’s story to read that here. Her body language alone tells the story.
Ozpin’s body language with Ruby then cues the viewer into the fact that he (supposedly) has the answers here, simply by virtue of him exuding a confidence that Ruby doesn’t possess yet. Who do you look to in a bad situation? The person screaming and running around in panic? Or the person who calmly announces that they can help, getting everyone else to calm down by keeping calm themselves? This sort of characterization is partly why the fandom grew suspicious of Ozpin early on. It’s not simply that he (on the surface) is modeled after the shady authority figure trope, but that we’ve learned from real life experience that a person’s ability to keep calm and speak eloquently doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re right. Sounding authoritative is a skill and it’s why the likes of cult leaders and dictators are so dangerous. If you just sound and look like you know what you’re doing, people have a tendency to believe you. And if you’re inclined towards critical thinking, you might be wary of the person whose demeanor is a little too polished.
Even when Ozpin is being playful he maintains a certain level of dignity. His clothes, his physical looks, and the controlled movement of the mug—he’s not jumping around like Nora might—all remind us that Ozpin is the headmaster here and thus, though he’s making silly jokes about popcorn right now, he deserves a certain amount of respect. Even his posture speaks volumes, one arm still tucked behind his back and shoulders ramrod straight. It’s a posture that speaks of training and discipline. There’s a reason that the general (Ironwood) is always animated as standing tall with hands neatly folded and the presumably less dependable drunk (Qrow) is animated with a constantly hunched posture. How Ozpin stands is a quick and easy way to tell the viewer, “This guy is in charge. He’s powerful. He’s wise. You can rely on him.”
All of this changes dramatically once Ozpin is thrown into Oscar’s body. Moving chronologically, it’s significant that the group is not introduced to this new Ozpin as a dignified individual.
This is what we get later. Note the crossed legs, still good posture, even the ‘adult’ way he holds a mug. In contrast, someone younger and more childish in terms of their personality, like Ruby, tends to hold a drink with two hands and chucks it all back in a manner that would never fly at a dinner party.
Rather than a dignified Ozpin knocking at the door, the group first encounters Oscar, someone who, like Volume 1 Ruby, can be incredibly timid and lacks in self-confidence. This isn’t the body language of a leader arriving to provide you with all the answers.
Oscar’s slouched posture, downward gaze, wringing hands, and fearful expression all paint him as the weak one here. Made worse by the fact that he asks to see Ruby and ignites (an entirely understandable) suspicion in the group. Their first interaction is characterized by perceiving him as both a potential threat, but also one they can easily handle. We don’t like that he’s asking about Ruby, but we can take him in a fight no problem.
And yes, this first impression makes a difference. Knowing something about someone on an intellectual level usually doesn’t trump the emotional response we have to the physical markers we’re faced with. As a non-RWBY example, let’s say you were introduced to these two characters.
Ignoring for a moment that we’re comparing a villain and a hero, let’s say for the sake of argument that you’re told—and are provided proof—that each of these characters are morally sound, powerful adults and you should afford them with the respect they deserve. Being told that simply can’t outweigh what we see. Who are you more likely to respect? The woman who looks like a literal child named Baby Doll in a cutesy outfit, or the very old looking man in badass robes, literally named the Ancient One? All the, “But I am an adult” in the world isn’t going to convince people to read, and therefore respond to, Baby Doll in the same way they would the Ancient One.
That’s the situation Ozpin is in now. He’s told the group that he’s Ozpin, he’s managed to prove it, but there’s always going to be a part of Ruby and the gang that doesn’t quite believe it. Not in Jaune’s literal sense of, ‘He could be lying about who he is,’ but just in a more instinctual, ‘He says he’s our headmaster, but all I see is a fourteen year old kid.’ What you see makes it really easy to ignore what you know, particularly when those two things contrast. Those markers Oscar brings to this new version of Ozpin are simply too influential and yes, that opens the door for the group to treat him with far less respect than they would in his adult form. We see it right from the start when, despite having been told that this is also Ozpin, the group coos over him in an overbearing, disrespectful manner.
This continues even after Ozpin has taken control and is doing everything he can (those dignity markers) to regain some level of trust and respect. Even while seated and attempting to command the room as Headmaster Ozpin, Nora nevertheless undermines that with “Cute little boy Ozpin!” She has chosen to emphasize his looks over his status and notably no one listens when he says, “Please don’t call me that.”
Ozpin has, in this moment, literally been labeled as a child. A “boy.” Though we can’t be sure about what age all his hosts were when Ozpin arrived, based on Jinn’s vision it doesn’t look as if reincarnating into teenagers is common. This may even be the first time.
Any of these past reincarnations would have been able to command more authority, simply because they’re adult men not dressed in dirty farm clothes. If this Ozpin had shown up in Haven,
we would have gotten a very different volume. Age matters. How we perceive age matters. We saw this right in RWBY’s second episode wherein Weiss calls Ruby out on attending Beacon.
It’s Ruby’s looks and Ruby’s looks alone that encourage Weiss to come to the conclusion, ‘You shouldn’t be here.’ The same thing has now happened to Ozpin. You look younger than us and are inhabiting a body that physically couldn’t beat us in a fight? You shouldn’t be here. You definitely shouldn’t be giving us orders.
The group had control of Ozpin’s safe house. They were poised to interrogate him for showing up at it unannounced. Now they emphasize Oscar’s age and characteristics over his, which is ironically the only time that they emphasize Oscar’s individuality over Ozpin’s. In short, they’ve created an environment where a part of them truly believes that they’re older and more knowledgeable simply because of how Ozpin now looks, even though technically they know this isn’t true. It’s a new dynamic and with that comes the confidence to treat him like the fourteen year old stranger he “is”. I don’t believe for a moment that Yang would have ignored Ozpin’s direct questions, shot out irrational accusations, and then demanded a promise from him if he still looked the way he did at Beacon. Especially as someone who came to Haven later and therefore missed the initial proof, Yang simply doesn’t read Ozpin as Ozpin. We’ve seen how other characters interact with him from a student-teacher dynamic and it’s far more respectful.
As this shot demonstrates, there’s also that issue of Ozpin’s size. Where as a headmaster Ozpin commanded authority by being taller than almost everyone else around him, Ozpin as Oscar immediately loses authority by being the smallest in the room. As I mentioned with Jaune and Cardin, size is an easy way to emphasize vulnerability. We quite literally couldn’t have gotten this scene if Ozpin was still 6'6" and looking twice Jaune’s age.
In this scene Jaune honestly thinks this might be Ozpin. He’s accusing him of lying again, of claiming to leave when really he’s spying on them, or just pretending to be this kid called ‘Oscar,’ whatever. The point is that Jaune is working under the assumption that he’s interacting with his headmaster, yet that knowledge obviously doesn’t give him pause. Because Ozpin’s new look outweighs everything else Jaune knows about him. He’s angry and now suddenly Ozpin isn’t an intimidating huntsmen capable of defending himself, Ozpin is a teeny-tiny kid with no training. Jaune becomes Cardin through the realization of, “Oh. If I’m bigger and more powerful than this person, I can do whatever I want to them.”
Ozpin’s size is an ongoing reminder that, despite possessing his own skill as well as magic, he’s in a vulnerable position. He needs to stand on the furniture in order to recreate his students literally and figuratively looking up to him, but now it just reads as a joke.
This isn’t the first time RWBY has used size this way. Cordovin is an excellent example of how a small, non-dignified looking person is unable to maintain authority in the way someone with another appearance might. Her white hair just makes her look old rather than wise and her short stature is so extreme that it invites humor. It’s not just that Cordovin is a racist, or that her guards act like Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Her appearance immediately gave the group another excuse for why they shouldn’t listen to her. Look at this tiny old woman trying to tell us what to do. Yeah right, lady. We could probably punt you into the sun so step aside.
This is a look that makes guards release prisoners in three seconds flat.
This is a look that encourages laughter and, by extension, a lack of respect.
The extreme camera angle in order to make Cordovin look ‘imposing.’ The fact that she looks like a literal child next to Weiss… none of it encourages the group, or the audience, to take her seriously. Rooster Teeth made a conscious decision when they decided to animate Volume 6′s “bad guy” as an old woman with sagging breasts and an extremely small stature.
The only time when someone that small is re-characterized as authoritative is when they’re standing up against unimaginable odds.
Ignoring that this scene in reality is Ruby refusing to take responsibility for the crimes she is currently committing, what Rooster Teen wants this shot to do is function as an example of extreme heroism. That’s accomplished by taking our second smallest character and situating her in front of a larger-than-life mech. Ruby’s refusal to back down in the face of something so much bigger than her is (again) supposed to be inspiring. She’s standing up to Cordovin’s “bullying” in a way Oscar was unable to do with his own mech: a bigger and more threatening Jaune.
(I really cannot express how awful Volume Six was wow).
All of which brings me to my final point. Namely that, by virtue of his age and size, Ozpin as Oscar will always look ridiculous when attempting to make use of his former markers. Using a cane?
Headmaster Ozpin’s age and height makes it look distinguished. Ozpin at Oscar’s age and height makes it look silly. What’s the fourteen year old doing with a cane nearly as tall as he is? (Acknowledging that this is an ableist assumption. Some fourteen year olds do need canes, but most viewers are going to question this in a way they never would with the white-haired adult). What’s the kid doing with such a fancy looking cane when he’s literally covered in dirt, bandages, rags, and badly mended clothes? That’s a silly contrast.
Headmaster Ozpin fighting? Totally badass. One of the shortest and yet most talked about fights in the show.
Ozpin as Oscar fighting? Still badass… if you’re willing to work for it a bit more. But really, the kid swinging a cane around just will never have the same feel as a grown man who looked like Ozpin did.
Ozpin himself is a dignified person, but anytime he adopts those mannerisms now he looks silly at best, arrogant at worst.
I think his look is largely why so many fans read the snow scene as him talking down to the group. He no more talked down to them here then he did when he conversed with Ruby, or Pyrrha, or the team while heading off to Mountain Glenn. The only difference is that the previous Ozpin commanded all that authority, so his warnings and criticisms held weight. This Ozpin not only doesn’t look the part of an authority figure, half his time is spent being Oscar, someone who defers to and scurries around the rest of the group. So when Ozpin tries to take charge here, everyone is far less willing to listen. People are inclined to read him as arrogant, patronizing, talking down to others, etc. because it looks like a small child giving orders to a more older, more powerful team. Even though it’s not.
It’s the combination of everything above that leads to moments like this. Where Ozpin is smaller, more vulnerable, looks too young, too naive, where the group towers over him for once and hurts him both physically and emotionally because now they can.
Tl;dr: Yeah. Oscar’s looks and Oscar’s personality changed things irrevocably. If Ozpin had still looked like Ozpin the group wouldn’t feel half as entitled to this behavior and gaining their respect—from ‘Please don’t address me like that’ to ‘Please understand why I kept secrets’—would be far, far easier.

(True Semblance) Lycanthropy - Ability to transform into a beast-like form at will. In Beast Form, Leo has increased strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and sensory perceptions. He is significantly more durable, able to withstand damage that would have killed a lesser man without batting an eye.

Likes: Meat, Fighting, Working out
Dislikes: Arrogance, Weakness, laser pointers
Personality: Dominant, Confident, Aggressive, Passionate
Kinks: Breeding play, rough kissing, overstimulating his lovers, rough sex (To be blunt: he fucks hard when he wants to. And he does want to.), Mindbreaking/Pet Play
Favorite positions: mating press/missionary, covered doggystyle/spooning, standing. He always asks his partners if they're sure before doing anything too dirty (eg, anal, facefucking, etc.)
Leo's parents were murdered by bandits during a raid when he was a kid, but he used all his small strength to take the bandit's knife and kill him in retaliation, passing out afterwards. Leo was taken in by the bandits, but was never allowed to forget his place. He was a weapon for them. He killed in their name until he turned 16. That was the day he took his life back. After one too many whippings and degrading beatings, he fought back, killing every bandit in the camp. He enrolled in Beacon, wanting to use the skills he'd learned for his own benefit rather than someone else's. But he still had a hole in his heart, a need to belong. He thought he belonged with the bandits, even though they treated him like shit for being a Faunus and being a glorified prisoner.
To deal with his trauma, Leo took comfort in the arms of his female classmates, and a few teachers, using sex as a form of therapy to hold his mind intact, distracting himself from his inner pain by giving in to pleasure. He jumped from relationship to relationship, brawl to brawl, and eventually contract to contract to keep himself busy. Without anyone truly loving him for who he is, for what he is, Leo's never truly healed from his trauma, but he's become one of the world's deadliest warriors, a successful Huntsman, and a lover with the skills of a deity. Practice does make perfect, after all...
Leo is a warrior through and through. He trains to be the strongest Huntsman to protect those he holds dear to him to the point of being obsessively protective. He often claims ownership of his friends and loved ones, seeing that the best way to protect them is to "Defend what's his." To that end, he's very possessive and territorial, and if he sees a woman he wants, he will claim them as his lover.
Leo is a shameless flirt and a lady's man, but a gentleman at heart. His tough exterior hides the fact that he's a glorified kitten on the inside, and will show that playful and goofy facet of himself to the one he choses to be his mate. Just Finished RWBY Volume 2...
...and HOLY HECK IT GOT BETTER.
[Warning: Spoilers for Volume 2 and Long Post.]
New antagonists! More huntsman action! More characters and interactions! And the fights, tho. THE FIGHTS!
*Ahem* Okay, clearly I just need to start from the beginning...
Episode 1
We start the new season by being reintroduced to our new antagonists, Emerald Sustrai and Mercury Black. They may be villains, but they're also obviously teens (Mercury radiates prick energy) and they're dynamic is entertaining. Also, RIP Tukson, he seemed like a nice dude...
We then cut back to Team RWBY and JNPR, who are apparently on break at the moment. It's also nice to see Sun again, and we also get to meet Neptune. Anyways, someone throws a pie in Weiss face, and you know what that means...
FOOD FIGHT!!!
Seriously, THESE KIDS ARE CRAZY. Ruby can apparently surf on lunch trays! Weiss used ketchup and a freakin' swordfish like Myrtenaster! Blake used baguettes and a sausage link like Gambol Shroud! Freakin' YANG was punching things with TURKEY! JAUNE... threw a melon, that was cool; nice to see that he's losing the noodleness of his body. NORA RIPPED OUT A PIPE, STUFFED IT TO A MELON, AND CALLED IT MAGNHILD! Note to self: never challenge Pyrrha to a fight near a vending machine (or anytime, really). Ren can kick WATERMELONS, and fight with LEEKS. HOW CAN THEY EVEN DIGEST ALL THAT FOOD!?
RIP Neptune's hair though, I hear grape is hard to wash out...
Then we cut back to the White Fang and Torchwick, who are then met with Mercury, Emerald, and later the great Cinder Fall herself. I'll admit, Mercury's funny but a jerk, and Emerald... I'm pretty sure I was mentally screaming "YOU'RE BEING MANIPULATED" when I saw her and Cinder. First she doesn't give Emerald a hug, then she tells her to not think and just obey? RED FLAGS. RED FLAGS EVERYWHERE.
Oh, speaking of Cinder, while she does radiate boss energy, I'm glad that I don't personally like her. I don't know what it is, but it might be the fact that she's treating everyone else like her pawns (and considering she used a chess piece later in this volume, I wouldn't be surprised). I mean, good villain, but like any good villain, I want her to get roasted, though that might not work given her Semblance.
Also, Roman Torchwick, you beautiful jerk, never change. I love ya, but I also love seeing you get dragged, which is what Emerald did to you at the end of this. Yep, I'm on board for this season!
Also, the new opening. I thought nothing could top "This Will Be The Day." I was wrong. Haven't listened to all of it yet, but "Time To Say Goodbye" SLAPS.
Episode 2
So, several things. There's board games, insert Yu-Gi-Oh reference here... Yang has too much power. Also, if I remember the lingo right, then this is also the episode where the White Rose shippers got crumbs, the White Knight shippers were once again denied, and where the Iceberg shippers were born (while the rest of us were titling our heads in confusion with Jaune). Jaune continues to be a social dork (what's with the blonde boys blowing Blake's secret? Don't think I've forgotten about Sun...). Blake is being consumed with the burden of RESPONSIBILITY. I feel that Blake. Oh, and the ending...
Why do out villains have to be clever enough to infiltrate the actual school!? And Weiss' "We're doomed." I hope that's not secret foreshadowing...
Episode 3
Jaune fails yet again at wooing Weiss (at least Yang comforts him at the end), and the gang begins their espionage. We meet Penny again, Weiss deals with her past, albeit briefly, and Penny... oh boy. She's hiding something, and the hiccups make it obvious. What could it possibly- oh...
Episode 4
Most of us had our suspicions, what with Penny's awkward demeanor and ludicrous super strength, but yep, she's a robot! Aw, get yourself a real one like Ruby. Oh, and Neptune's useless with Yang around. Speaking of, HEY, good to see you again, Junior! So Blake and Sun intercept the White Fang rally and... oh fudge they got giant robots. BAIL! We also get to see Neptune's weapon and Sun's semblance (before they nope off the road and leave the rest of the fighting to RWBY, while they go off and get ramen, the jerks...). Also, nice to see that they have team attack names (I believe some of them double as ship names), and this is where we get to meet the Ice Cream Queen Neopolitan (not to be confused with the now officially dubbed Ice Queen Weiss Schnee. If even the villains are calling you that, then congrats, you have a new title)! Neo then proceeds to give them the slip, and I personally believe that Yang only disliked Weiss' pun because it highlighted her failure.
C'mon Yang, at least she's TRYING!
Episode 5
Pyrrha is a combat queen. 'Nuff said. Suck it, CRDL.
Oh no. Mercury is both a smart aleck AND smart. This will not end well.
Blake, take a break. No, seriously, working yourself to death just because you think you can doesn't mean you should. You will only feel worse. TAKE A BREAK.
Well Jaune, mission failed. You'll get her next time.
Pyrrha Nikos. Sweetie. We're talking about Jaune Arc here. He's not gonna get the hints you're dropping unless that "hint" is a full blown irrefutable confession so obvious that even he can't screw it up. I know you want to help him because you like him (and yes, even like like him), but it's clear Weiss isn't interested, at least not now. Capitalize on that!
And our villain group continues to be dastardly. *Chuckles* We're in danger.
Episode 6
The dance draws near, and it seems that both Blake AND Jaune could use a pep talk!
Poor Blake. It appears your faunus trait makes you more cat-like than just the ears.
Also, poor Ren. He just wants a nice bath, but alas, the power of bromance.
Oof, tough love from Yang. Pretty good flashback, though. Also, Pyrrha, your selfless nature will be your undoing, listen to Nora.
...oh God, if I'm saying "listen to Nora" when the world isn't ending, we might ACTUALLY be in danger.
Aw, the dance looks fun. Poor Jaune, tho. Don't worry, at least Yang, Blake, and Sun are having a good time (and this is the part where I realize I'm becoming a SunnyBee shipper, crap). Poor Ruby, having to wear heels. Don't worry, Ozpin will keep you company.
Oh crap, the villain kids are here! What are you up to!?
Episode 7
This one gets the runner up for my favorite episode. Alternatively, I give it the title "Team Leaders Know What's Up."
Jaune, you may be a dumbass, but you're the rare "Surprisingly Competent Dumbass With A Heart Of Gold," and you get my respect for that. Being socially awkward with Ruby? Comedy gold. Putting things into perspective for Neptune? Props, my dude. Comforting Pyrrha? Friendship goals (even though it should be more than friendship goals, but hey, you put on the dress, I'll give you that). Nice dance moves, by the way, JNPR.
As for Ruby... drinking Jaune's punch? Iconic. Noticing Cinder sneaking away? Nice. Fighting her in heels of all things? You, my dear red reaper, are on another level. A shame that Ironwood couldn't get there faster and that Cinder had to bail, but oh well.
Also: Penny continues to be heckin' adorable. I will never NOT stan.
Episode 8
HEAR YE, HEAR YE, THE NOBLE DOG ZWEI HAS GRACED US WITH HIS ADORABLE PRESENCE. Tremble before his ability to fit in boxes and melt Weiss' heart. Oh, and RWBY gets exposed to Ozpin, but surprise! Even Ozpin doesn't have to play by the rules! Though that could get him in trouble with Ironwood later...
Why does this show keep showing me characters that I want to get to know better in record time!? Team CFVY looks so interesting, and it's nice to see Velvet again! Ooh, I hope we see them more later...
Also, Professor Oobleck, I know we saw a bit of you in Volume 1, and I wish we got to know you better. You seem delightful.
Episode 9
Okay, my previous statement of DOCTOR Oobleck still stands. I love this chaotic fast man.
He's both funny AND deep! His reaction to Zwei? Comedy gold! Him picking apart RWBY's motives and the Grimm? Disturbingly thought provoking, but enjoyable. Also, Ruby, you're great, but you're not entirely a genius, you're just a little bit lucky.
In conclusion: there are a lot of characters to stan in RWBY. Dr. Oobleck is one of them.
Episode 10
We learn about WBY's motivations, now excuse me while I go crying in the club right now.
OH NO, RUBY GOT KIDNAPPED! AND SHE DOESN'T HAVE HER SCYTHE! FRICK, it's a mindset kind of deal! Without her scythe, she thinks she's useless! Oh, and Roman's there too, that's not good.
...that is REALLY not good, Oobleck! Get down there, all of you! Wait, is your thermos... your WEAPON!? HOW THE FU-
(Sidenote, I looked up the name, since most weapons have them and I'm impatient for them getting name dropped. "Antiquity's Roast," eh? Fitting...)
Episode 11
So... this episode.
Poor Ruby. She failed to fight back, she almost ran away but then it turns out Melodic Cudgel is also a GRAPPLING HOOK. Thank god Yang and company finally busted their way in.
...why are Roman and the White Fang going kamikaze with those train car bombs? Oh right, the Grimm. Crap, that ain't good.
Ah, Oobleck. You may have accidentally repeated Ruby's line, but a swig of your thermos/club/flamethrower and then using it to bat Zwei into a cannonball of death redeemed you!
So Neo's back. She's skilled, sassy, has something going on with her eyes... Oh boy, Yang's getting outclassed by a pipsqueak. That's gotta suck.
Does every faunus (baring Blake, Sun, etc.) hate the SDC? Seriously Weiss, what did your father DO!?
Roman, do not get flirty with Blake. Junior tried something similar with Yang way back in the Yellow Trailer, and he got socked in the face. You deserve that kick in the head.
Oh look, Yang's mom is here! Nice, now Neo can't kill her (don't you dare, you little ice cream, I swear...). Oh. OH. That's a big sword. Yeah, ya better run, Neo. You ain't winnin' this fight. Great, now I want to know what Yang's mom's deal is. Figures she just warped away afterwards...
And now the Grimm are above ground. Yeah, seems like a good time for the season finale.
Episode 12
Now THIS is my favorite episode.
Look at that, Jaune's getting good instincts! And it's nice that Team JNPR was able to help RWBY. Also nice that Jaune can actually kill a Grimm now. Good job, man. You earned Pyrrha's smile of approval.
As much as I'm wary of the antagonist trio, I'll admit, they can fight good. Especially Emerald, her guns are sick. Why am I warming up to her so fast? What is this magic!?
...CFVY. CFVY. WHY ARE Y'ALL SO BADASS? Seriously, Yatsuhashi's carying an entire sword and a half. Fox just pulled a Ren and caused a Grimm to explode. Coco... God, Coco- WHY DOES RUBY HAVE SO MANY QUEENS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!?
"You just destroyed my favorite clothing store. Prepare to die."
I-FREAKING-CONIC!
And she just murders Grimm with a BRIEFCASE. That turns into a GATTLING GUN. BECAUSE OF COURSE IT'S ALSO A GUN. (BTW, Gianduja is a really cool name for it.)
And now I want to know Velvet's weapon! It doesn't look like much now, but apparently it took a semester to build. And we know that Velvet can fight based on what we saw with her and Fox, so how does she ADD to that!?
THAT TRACK IN THE BACKGROUND, TOO! "CAFFEINE~" HELL YEAH!!!
Ooh, Port and Oobleck teamup! Oh no... THE GLYNDA IS MAD PEOPLE. I REPEAT, THE GLYNDA IS MAD! SHE HAS NO PATIENCE FOR YOUR GRIMM BS!!!
Welp, Roman got handled, though I doubt it's for long... Yay, RWBY finally gets a break! Oh boy, trouble brewing between Ozpin and Ironwood, that ain't good.
...bull man's back. Uh, guys, Adam's back! And he's helping the bad guys! THIS IS REALLY NOT GOOD.
...oh, so your name is Raven? And that's what you look like under the mask. There's the resemblance... Oh boy, where have you been all of Yang's life?
...
So all in all, Volume 2 was even better than Volume 1, in my opinion. It's like they took the first volume and amped it up to 11. Longer runtimes, great comedy, great action sequences, great CHARACTERS. It's just a complete trip! 10/10, would ride again. Welp, it's getting late, so I can't immediately start Volume 3. But what Volume 2 gave us is good enough to tide me over.
...I am so glad I started this series. Well, this is goodbye for now. Cheers, internet!

To pair Blake & Sun romantically is to disregard Sun's role in her narrative & do a severe disservice to his character. Particularly when it is used to contrast or oppose her very clear entanglement with Yang. Sun's masculinity is a foil to Adam's; he supported Blake rather than seeking to control her, & he accepted that she had no romantic interest in him with grace rather than lashing out. See also: a "go to her" moment in Haven's Fate (V5E14), encouraging her to reunite w' Yang/RWBY.
Hmm… I’m pretty neutral on that take. Here’s the thing about Sun and Blake and their well developed bond throughout the series…. Thus far.
Blake and Sun both experienced noticeable growth and maturity when interacting with one another. Blake learns to no longer run, having more trust and faith in the people she loves and cares about. She also gains the courage to take on Adam (even after what took place in the Battle of Beacon), her abuser, head on thanks to Sun being there for her in perhaps one of the most darkest moments of her life. Sun has shown signs of maturing and wanting to be a better leader to his own team thanks to Blake rubbing off on him as such. Heck, you can see a little bit of Sun in Blake near the end in Volume 5.
We can’t just ignore the sometimes obvious romantic interactions between Sun and Blake that intentionally took place in the show ether. (Like I said in my previous replies, both Sun and Yang are in love with Blake, and Blake clearly likes both of them too. I will not deny that.) Especially during Volumes 4-5. Where Sun has the cliche, yet typical “Meet the Parents of Potential Love Interest” and “Earning the Father’s Approval” tropes on all over him. Also the constant callbacks between the two of them such as “I knew you would look better without the bow”/”I knew you’d look better in a tie”, “My Hero”, etc.
In Volumes 1-3 (plus all of RWBY Chibi) they were even designed with a “Light and Shadow” aesthetic considering Sun has blonde hair and dark gray eyes while Blake has black hair and yellow eyes. Then you have their similar semblances to think about, where Blake is able to create shadow clones of herself while Sun can create light clones of himself in contrast.
Then there is a certain parallel, that will lead to the second point. Sun being a foil to Adam in probably more ways than one.
Sun is the exact opposite of Adam, both personality and even design wise. While Adam is stoic, serious, and cold. Sun on the other hand is expressive, carefree, and warm. Adam’s clothing consists of red and black, while Sun’s clothing consists mainly blue and white which are colors that are the opposites of each other. Not only that, but their semblance names are Moonslice and Via Sun. Interestingly enough parts of them glow when using their respective semblances, where everything red on Adam glows red and Sun’s hair and tail gains a bright yellow glow (watch V2E4 very closely when he uses it). Additionally, Adam could very well be connected to Sun’s own allusion as the Bull Demon King, as the two do end up fighting each other at Haven, just like in Journey to the West where Sun Wukong and the Bull Demon King fight each other.
When it comes to grudges those two handle it in their own different way I’ve noticed. How Adam handles them is that he wants to make the one he holds a grudge against to suffer immensely to get even with. While Sun’s way of getting even with is something simple like pinching a person. Adam has anger issues while Sun does not, and when Sun does get angry, it’s because someone he cares about is getting hurt. When Adam gets angry it could be anything that gets on his nerves.
How they treat Blake is completely different from each other. Adam is indeed manipulative, controlling, and outright abusive towards Blake. Sun on the other hand is kind, gives her space, genuinely just wants her to be happy. And if Blake does have no romantic interest in Sun, then yes he would be okay with it. Hell he would support her regardless. Compare to Adam who will be petty and outright violent with Blake as noted within the show.
On the whole “Go to her/them” thing, more than anything Sun wanted Blake to be back with her team, that’s what he wanted this whole time when saying “It wasn’t about that brainiac!” to Neptune. He wasn’t trying to get with her romantically, despite having strong romantic feelings for her. That’s what he meant when talking to Neptune, he can’t always be by her side because he has a team of his own to be with, and their paths towards their own journeys are separated. Blake is going with her team, while Sun is going with his. And Blake is hoping that it won’t be the last time she sees Sun and kisses his cheek goodbye. You can take it as a sign of platonic or romantic interest, but we won’t really know her intent by it until we see them reunite with one another at Vacuo.
Sun and Blake have a beautiful well developed bond of trust and love (platonic or romantic doesn’t matter ether way I love their bond), and I honestly can’t wait to see the two reunite with one another at Vacuo.
That is why I strongly ship and adore Blacksun/Eclipse/Wudonna/Beauty and the Banana. Not because of the possible romantic implications between the two, but because of their strong and special bond they have with each other.

A silly AU where Cloud is Jaune’s father OR he’s Yang’s father figure.
Really wanted to do the first choice, but unfortunately, nothing was popping up in me dumb ol’ brain. Also, feel free to treat this as a part of that one SFM pic I made involving Cloud and Yang walking into the club wearing shades.
Also, gonna treat this as a AU to my CTR AU. I’m not making this “canon” to that AU, but more of an AU on its own.
————————————————————
Anonymous asks: Sunny Little Bahamut (FFVII x RWBY)
————————————————————
*At Beacon Academy, Cloud is just organizing his room, until he hears Glynda knocking on his open door*
Glynda: Mr. Strife, you have someone who wants to see you.
Cloud: Huh?
*Cloud follows Glynda, then sees Yang*
Glynda: I shall leave you two alone now. *Leaves*
Yang (smirking): So…how’s it going?
Cloud (shrugging): Fine.
Yang: “Fine”? That’s it?
Cloud: Just doing my best to… *Twirls one of his hair spikes* …Fit in, I suppose?
Yang: You look like you need a fun time.
Cloud: I mean, I’d be lying if I didn’t say that it’s been a little boring lately…
Yang: Well, I wanna check out this awesome club, but I can’t enter it unless I have an adult to accompany me. And seeing that my dad’s busy and my mom… *Sighs angrily* …left me….
Cloud: So you want me to accompany you to go to some club or something?
Yang (grabbing his hand): That’s right! *Pulls him towards her and drags him out of the room* And I won’t take no for an answer! *Tightens the grip*
Cloud (weirded out): Agh! *Internally* This girl’s tough!
*At the club entrance*
Bouncer: Halt. Are you accompanied by an adult?
Yang (wearing shades): Yep!
*Cloud, who’s also wearing shades, says nothing as he’s crossing his arms*
Bouncer (to Cloud): Can I see your ID?
*Cloud shows it off, and the Bouncer checks it out*
Bouncer (stepping aside): Alright. Have fun.
Yang (dragging Cloud inside): That we will!
Cloud: Agh!
*The duo enter the club, which looked smaller on the outside, but EXTREMELY larger on the inside. It has a bunch of pole dancers, three bar pubs, a large dance floor, a multiple tables, and compared to all the other clubs, this one is significantly far more dangerous*
Cloud (eyes widened, internally): What the hell…?
Yang (smirking): I’m gonna go have fun now. Go treat yourself to the bar or something. *Runs off*
Cloud: H-Hey! Wait! You’ve never been to this place before! You never know what *Loses sight of her* …kind of…danger… *Sighs* …lies ahead… *Shakes his head* …Better keep on eye on her and make sure she’s safe. *Looks around, but doesn’t see her* Otherwise, either Ruby or her father’s gonna kill me. But then again, she’s a tough girl. She can take care of herself.
*Cloud walks around the entire area, keeping a stern expression as he walks pass a couple of customers, strippers, employees, etc.*
Cloud (internally): …But then again, I wanna make sure she’s safe! *Looks around*
Employee: You look lost, friend.
Cloud: Well, I am new to this place…have you seen a blonde girl?
Employee: Look around, pal. *Points to a lot of folks in the area, and a couple of them share the exact same hairstyle as Yang does*
Cloud (groaning): …Shit.
Employee: You look tense. You sure don’t wanna hit up the-
Cloud: No! Actually…was she wearing shades?
Employee: Didn’t see some blonde bimbo wearing shades, no.
*Cloud lowers his shades and gives the employee a VERY deadly glare*
Employee (eyes widened): …Was it something I said?
Cloud (still glaring at him): …Don’t call my pupil’s sister a bimbo.
Employee: Pupil? Sister? Wait a minute, you’re not some kinda teacher working around this city, are ya?
Cloud (sighing): …Forget it. You’re no help. *Leaves*
*Cloud spends a good ten minutes looking for Yang. He looks behind a curtain, but then QUICKLY dodges out of the way as a woman comes flying right at him*
Cloud (shocked): Whoa! Huh? *Looks behind, and sees a couple of guys surrounding Yang with a ponytail, who’s standing on a table*
Yang (drunk): I’m the shtrongesht woman around! And don’t any of you forget it!
Cloud: Sheesh… *Tries to run up to her, but there’s too many guys surrounding the area for him to push his way through* Get out my way!
*Everyone turns to look at him with either annoyed, confused, or angry expressions*
Yang (happily): Hi, Cloud!
Cloud: Yang, c’mon! We’re leaving!
Yang (pouting): But I’m having sho much fun! Look at all the Lien I’m winning!
Cloud (rolling his eyes): …Whatever. I just don’t want anybody here getting funny ideas with you!
Customer 1 (squinting at him): Whatever makes you say that, ya blonde dumbass?
Yang (squealing): Ah! Hey! *Slaps someone’s hand away* Handsh off, mishter!
*Cloud gives everyone a deadpan expression, then takes a deep breath*
Cloud: …I’m gonna give you all the count of three to step aside.
Customer 2: Oh yeah? You and what army?
*Cloud cracks his knuckles and readies himself*
Cloud: …I don’t need an army. I don’t even need my sword to kick your asses.
*A long, beatdown later*
Cloud (panting): *Huff* *Huff* *Huff* …Now then…
Yang (awestruck): Wow, Cloud! No wonder my shishter putsh you into high regard!
Cloud (approaching her): Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let’s get you back before something bad happens.
*Bouncer enters the room, and sees all the beaten, battered, and bruised customers on the floor*
Bouncer (taken aback): What the fu-
Cloud (running past him while carrying Yang behind his back): We’re leaving.
Bouncer: Hey! What the hell happened here?!?
*Back to Beacon, it’s currently night time*
Cloud (approaching Team RWBY’s door): Rgh…
Ruby (opening the door): Oh! Cloud! *Sees Yang sleeping on his back* Huh? Oh, there she is. I was wondering when she’d back.
Cloud: Good thing I accompanied her. Otherwise, you might’ve never seen her again.
Yang (talking in her sleep): …I could’ve taken on every shingle one of them…
Ruby: Did she take you to some club or something?
Cloud: Yeah, but seeing that neither of us have ever been to this club before, let’s just say that we were unprepared. Also, your sister got drunk and was fighting against some of the employees.
Yang: …But I didn’t walk away empty-handed…
Ruby (shaking her head): Oh, Yang…come inside. *Motions to Cloud into her room*
Cloud (walking over to her bed): Oof! Alright. Let’s get you to bed now. *Tosses her onto her bed*
Yang (snoring): …Thanksh, daddy…
*Ruby is weirded out by this, while Cloud shakes his head disapprovingly*
Cloud (whispering into her ear): I am not “daddy”.
Yang (snoring): Okay, shecond dad…
Cloud (rolling his eyes): Whatever. *Leaves*
Ruby (running up to him): Wait! Cloud?
Cloud: Yeah?
Ruby (smiling): …Thanks for looking after her.
Cloud: Think nothing of it.
Ruby: I’m sure my dad would also be grateful.
Cloud (quietly): If anything, I might’ve saved myself from his wrath…
Ruby: What?
Cloud: Nothing.

RWBY Squiggle Scripts #022: “Playing Pretend”
Picture it.
Heroes’ Day Out!
While staying in Atlas, our young heroes of RWBY and the JN(O)R gang decide to take a day off to explore the sights. During their excursion, due to their differing interests, the group decides to split up into four pairs: Ren and Nora, Blake and Yang, Weiss and Jaune and lastly, Ruby and Oscar.
Ruby was really enthusiastic about checking out the Atlesian Delta Mall---a giant shopping precinct within the kingdom that was very popular with the local youths because of its entertainment arena home to an arcade and a giant movie complex among other fun areas.
At first the Rosebuds were happily enjoying themselves. However things turn sour when Oscar gets separated from Ruby while exploring the wall.
During his search for his missing rose, Oscar’s lone trek across the complex leads him to bump into a rather interesting group of people Before Oscar got a chance to even apologize to who he bumped into, he suddenly found himself swarmed on all sides by four girls who practically towered over him.
One girl was a proud blonde by the name of Clementine Pell. Another girl, a brunette with glasses was Naomi Navy. The third girl, a walking body of pink, was Ran Orchid and finally the fourth girl, Yasmine Alba---a red-eyed beauty with long hair as white as snow.
Oscar swallowed nervously as the girls flocked around him. Suddenly he felt like a worm trapped in a cage of hungry canaries.
Clementine: Well what do we have here ladies? Looks like a little prince has lost his way.
Naomi: Ooh you're right Clem! He does look like a prince.
Ran: He’s such a cutie pie. I love his freckles! I can just eat him up!
Yasmine: Quit acting so thirsty Ran. What's your name, sugar pie?
Oscar: *awkwardly* Uh...I---Os---Oscar.
Ran: Ooh Oscar!
Naomi: Like Gold!
Clementine: So you're a golden prince.
Oscar: Uh, if you'll excuse I really need to catch up with my---
Oscar attempted to walk past one of the girls---the snow-haired one---but to his dismay, she snaked her around one of his.
Yasmine: What's the rush, darling?
Ran: Yeah, why don't you come hang out with us?
Clementine: You wouldn't want to refuse the company of four beautiful girls like us now won't you?
Yasmine: Won't you!
Oscar: I...I...
Just when Oscar believed he was a goner, a glimmer of red caught his eyes as Ruby Rose came into view.
Ruby: There you are! I've been looking all over for you.
Oscar: *in relief* Ruby!
Instantly, Oscar wiggled his way out of the snow-haired girl’s grip and joined Ruby at her side. Ruby smiled at Oscar before training her attention on the four girls who eyed her with stern expressions.
The blonde one even got up in Ruby’s face.
Clementine: Excuse me but we saw him first!
Ran: Yeah paws off our little prince!
Ruby: *blinking confusedly* Your little… what now?
She looked at Oscar.
Ruby: Oscar, do you know these girls?
Oscar: No I've never seen them in my life.
Ruby: *frowning crossly* Are they harassing you?
Oscar: I---
Yasmine: He was about to get to know us personally before you butted in.
Naomi: Buzz off!
Ran: Yeah, who do you think you are?
Ruby: Oh where are my manners? The name’s Ruby Rose and…
Ruby draped one arm around Oscar’s shoulder pulling him closer to her with a big beaming smile.
Ruby: I'm his girlfriend!
CNRY: *in unison* What!
Oscar: Wait...what?
Clementine: *hands on hips; appearing skeptical* Funny, you don't seem like his girlfriend.
Yasmine: Yeah like a cutie prince like him would ever date ugly peasant trash like you.
Oscar: *frowning defensively* Hey! Don't talk to her like----
Ruby: It's okay, sweetie. I'll handle this.
Ruby glanced back at the four CNRY girls; the smile on her face now curling into a smirk.
Ruby: So you want proof, you say?
Before Oscar had time to react; the next thing the small farm boy knew, Ruby suddenly closed the space between them and planted her bare lips over his in a kiss.
At first, Oscar was caught off guard by the sudden invasion. His body stiffened at the first out of shock but after a while he slowly felt herself melt into the kiss and it was not long before that he actually started kissing Ruby back.
By the time the two parted, Oscar’s heart was like a drum in his chest. His cheeks were flushed; far more than usual as he just stood staring at Ruby.
He wasn’t the only one. When Ruby returned to the four girls, their faces were a perfect Picasso of astonishment, disappointment and unbridled rage. A masterpiece of human expression that brought the big Chesire-cat smile back to Ruby’s face.
Ruby: *smugly* Proof enough for you ladies? Or do you need more convincing?
Yasmine: *disgustedly* No thank you!
Clementine: Let's go girls. Before I lose my lunch.
Naomi & Ran: Totally!
Whipping their hair, the CNRY girls walked away; finally leave Ruby and Oscar to themselves once more.
Ruby: Phew! That was a close one. Sorry for that. It was the only thing I could think of. But at least they're gone now, right Oscar?
Oscar: ...
Ruby: Oscar?
Ruby faces Oscar; finding him still staring at her.
Ruby: What's with that face!
Oscar: I'm sorry! You...kissed me. You actually kissed me.
Ruby: *defensively* Yeah but it was a fake kiss. To help you with the---
Oscar: *frantically* I know I know! It's just...that was...well...my…
Ruby: …Wait, was that...your first kiss?
Oscar: *awkwardly*...Ye---Yeah. Pretty much, yeah.
Ruby: Oh. Oh no. I’m so sorry!
Oscar: No! No! It's ok. Better you than those girls, right? Besides...it was fine.
Ruby: *taken aback* Fine?
Oscar: As in good. *embarrassed* It’s…not exactly how I pictured our---I mean…my first kiss being but---y’know…
Ruby: *awkwardly*Well...uh...if it's any consolation, it was my first kiss too so…
Oscar: *incredulously* Wait...WHAT! That cannot be your first kiss. How?
Ruby: What do you mean how?
Oscar: I just...I mean I always figured you of all people would have kissed tons of guys before.
Ruby: Excuse me?
Oscar: I don't mean it any bad way. I just...I always figured a beautiful girl like you would have some tall handsome guy or y’know…several guys waiting for you back home in Vale.
Ruby: *snorts* That's…really weird but really sweet of you to assume but...no.
Oscar: *still in disbelief* Really? Not even at Beacon?
Ruby: Well at Beacon I was pretty much the runt of the school. Youngest huntress to be accepted, remember?
Oscar: Yeah but...you're also pretty amazing.
Ruby: *laughingly* Trust me. If you had met me back then, you wouldn't think that.
Oscar: I doubt it. If you were just as cool and kind as you are now, I would've liked you sooner. *jokingly* Y’know beat out all those guys in line for your hand.
Ruby: *giggling* Oh please. I didn't even have a date to the school dance. Me having a line of guys chasing after me. That’s rich!
Oscar: I should've been at Beacon.
Ruby: Why’d you say that?
Oscar: So I could’ve asked you to the dance.
Ruby: *snorts* Pffft! Again, really sweet of you Oscar but… you would’ve been 13. That’s younger than I was.
Oscar: *smiling* So? I'd still ask you.
Ruby: *blushing slightly* Well tell you what? If there's ever another dance, you'd be my first choice for my date.
Oscar: *grinning* I'm going to hold you to that. It’s a date. And…uh… speaking of dates…
Oscar took Ruby’s hand, looking at her warmly.
Oscar: Ms. Rose, would you do me the honour of going on a date with me right now?
Ruby:*snickering* Do me the honour?
Oscar: *embarrassedly* What? Tha---That’s how the guys asked out the girls back home. It’s a farm folk custom!
Ruby:*laughing* You’re not serious!
Oscar: *huffily* It is! You Valerian city girls just don’t know common courtesy.
Ruby: *teasingly* Jokes on you, I’m a Patch girl, born and raised. Besides I meant about the date thing. You’re not serious about that, right?
Oscar: Actually I am. We still have a couple hours to kill before we meet back up with the others, right? And…there’s a perfectly good movie theatre right over there that’s showing all three Grimm Samurais movies with a food court that gives out free popcorn to couples. Besides I think those crazy girls from before might still be lurking around. You mind playing my girlfriend for a few more hours?
Ruby: *excitedly* You had me at Grimm Samurais! Let’s go!
Oscar: *grinning* After you, snookums.
Ruby gave Oscar a weird look; brows raised. Oscar blushed.
Oscar: *defensively* What? It---It’s part of the pretend.
Ruby: Y’know what’s also part of the pretend. You paying for me.
Oscar: What!
Ruby: Now c’mon Oscar, what kind of pretend boyfriend would you be if you didn’t treat your cute pretend girlfriend to our pretend movie date? Isn’t that right pumpkin?
Oscar: *pouting* I’m going to pretend dump you.
Ruby: Can’t cause you’re pretend madly in love with me!
Ruby sticks out her tongue at Oscar playfully before skipping off before he could say anything else. Oscar only shook his head as he only stared after the Silver eyed huntress. He then sighed dreamily.
‘…Or maybe I’m just in love with you for real…’ Oscar thought; an affectionate smile already tugging at his lips. With that, the young farm boy caught up to Ruby; taking her hand in his again as she in turn beamed brightly and tugged him forward in eager excitement, as the two rosebuds entered the mall theater together.
And scene.
Squiggly Scriptwriter’s Commentary:
This has been sitting in my drafts for weeks and I didn’t realize how adorkably cheesy this was until I finished editing it. So much cheese. Hope no one reading is lactose intolerant.
This spawned from the random idea of what if… Ruby fake-out made out with Oscar to get him out of a sticky scenario with a group of fangirls. I quite like the romance trope of the fated pair fake kissing each other for show only for their real feelings to surface later in the plot.
I was planning on releasing this script earlier but…y’know busy bug syndrome got in the way. It wasn’t until I saw @blackhakumen beat me to the punch with his own version of the “playing pretend” trope for Rosegarden, that I finally figured it’s about time I finished this. You can almost say his work gave me the push to finally wrap this up! Thanks for the motivation boast with your script Black. If you haven’t, check out Mini Fanfic #64: My Boyfriend by Blackhakumen.
I haven’t written anything this cheesy for Rosegarden since my ‘A-Dork You!’ RWBY Squiggle Script. Good times. I still love that script.
A special thank you bunches of oats to my fellow Garden Rosebud @miki-13 for loaning me their lovely OCs who cameoed in this script.
The CNRY girls are from Miki’s RWBY fanfic---‘Reconciliation’. If you haven’t already checked it out, I’d definitely recommend it to you guys. It’s a fantastic read that not only tells an excellent interpretive follow-up from the events of V6 but it also includes an original cast of interesting characters. Seriously check it out.
I hope you didn’t mind the cameo Miki. When I first thought up this script, I was originally going to go with a random character but then I remembered your CNRY girls. Sorry if me borrowing them was for something as cheesy as this. The CNRY girls served their part well. I just hope I did your girls justice here.

‘You and I’
"Those drinks aren't gonna mix themselves, Nora! Stop gawking at Ren's behind and sling some drinks already!" Pyrrha joked though she could definitely use the assistance. The Dirty Glass was packed tightly on this Friday evening. Nothing special was going on, as far as she knew, but Friday was a busier day.
Nora rolled her eyes at the back end of Pyrrha's comment and grabbed two bottles. She popped the caps off the two stouts and slid them down the bar to waiting patrons. The two of them threw their Lien on the bar and thanked the electric redhead. They had left a good bit of change, which Nora threw into a jar behind the counter.
"I love people who pay in cash..." Nora mused, spacing for a second. She caught a shot glass Pyrrha had tossed to her without realizing it.
"I need a Screwdriver for table nineteen, ma'am!" Ren asked her as he stepped into the kitchen to collect a meal for delivery. Her orange hair bounced as she shook the orange juice and vodka in a steel cup, straining the mixture into the shot glass Pyrrha had tossed her. She dripped some Grenadine into the beverage for a bit more color. "Thank you, my love!" Ren told her with a wink as he scooped up the glass and made for his table.
Nora's eyes turned to hearts at that.
"Are you ever going to jump that boy?" A patron at the bar asked her. Nora giggled at the blue-haired woman, a regular customer she'd known for a while, knowing full well that she'd been joking.
"I pounce on him regularly, hon! Our neighbors probably want us evicted!" She joked. Pyrrha rolled her eyes and chortled.
"If anything, they want Jaune and me to get lost!" Pyrrha winked.
"I appreciate not hearing about your sexy time at work, Nikos!" Ren complained with a laugh as he emptied a bucket of ice into a cooler. "Then again, not hearing about my own would be wonderful too!" He jabbed. Nora stuck her tongue out at him.
"That will only make things worse, Thunder!" Pyrrha joked back. Ren rolled his eyes and returned to the kitchen.
"How come your boy isn't here?" The customer asked Pyrrha. She blushed at the words.
"He's on the full restaurant side. I'm headed over there as soon as my shift is over. I'm supposed to sing a couple of numbers with the jazz band playing."
"Ooh, you sing? Sing for me!"
"It's a bit too noisy in here, ma'am..." Pyrrha attempted to dodge the request. Jaune walked in through the kitchen. It must be his break time.
"Aw, come on! Your boy's here now! Sing him a song and let us all hear!" The customer encouraged.
Nora slammed her fist on the metal sink behind the bar. "Attention, patrons! We will now treat you all to a musical number from our very own PYRRHA NIKOS!!!" She announced, her voice thundering through the bar. The whole room went quiet.
"I'm going to whip your butt when we get home!" Pyrrha complained.
"Talk dirty to me, Magnet!" Nora retorted, a few customers laughing. Pyrrha rolled her eyes and stepped up onto a barstool and then up to the bar.
"Don't tell anyone you saw this, or I'll kill all of you!" She joked. She pondered her song choice for a minute, then stomped and clapped a beat. The crowd followed with their own feet and hands.
Don't you worry there, my honey
We might not have any money,
But we've got our love to pay the bills
Maybe I think you're cute and funny
Maybe I want to do what bunnies
Do with you, if you know what I mean
She grinned and winked at Jaune as she sang that line. The blond boy blushed ten shades of red at that. He knew he'd have to join her for the next verse. Pyrrha stomped her way into the chorus.
Oh, let's get rich and buy our parents homes in the south of France
Let's get rich and give everybody nice sweaters and teach them how do dance
Let's get rich and build a house on a mountain, making everybody look like ants
From way up there, you and I, You and I
Jaune climbed onto the bar next to Pyrrha. She planted a soft kiss on his lips, earning some rowdy cheers from their audience.
[Jaune]: Well you might be a bit confused
[Pyrrha]: And you might be a little bit bruised
{Jaune]; But, baby, how we spoon like no one else.
So I will help you read those books
If you will soothe my worried looks
[Both]: And we will put the lonesome on the shelf
The two of them stomped and clapped away as they sang the chorus through twice. The entire bar clapped and cheered for the two of them. They kissed again before climbing off the bar.
"I love you, Knight..." Pyrrha told Jaune softly.
"I love you more, Magnet..." He replied, kissing her again.
"That's impossible, but I believe you anyway." Pyrrha twirled a lock of her deep red hair with one finger.
"BACK TO WORK! THESE DRINKS AREN'T GONNA MIX THEMSELVES, REMEMBER?!" Nora chided with a laugh. Pyrrha rolled her eyes and mixed three cocktails in the time it took Nora to make one.
"I might just whip your butt right now!"
"Oh, baby!" Nora retorted, poking her behind out toward Pyrrha.
"This shift is never going to end..." Ren resigned from the kitchen, where he was now cooking a steak dinner. "At least you get to leave this craziness," He told Jaune as the blond boy was stepping out the door to venture back across the street to the Light and the Glass.
The rest of their shift ran smoothly enough. Ren and Nora ran home together, thankful for the alone time they would receive. Pyrrha changed clothes, trading her awful uniform for a spectacularly scarlet evening gown, before making her way across the street to perform with the Dust Crystals. They were a four-piece smooth jazz outfit that played local venues, and Pyrrha was friends with their saxophone player. Topaz and her cohorts always welcomed Pyrrha's pipes to share their stage.
Pyrrha and Jaune caught a taxi back to the flat they shared with Ren and Nora. Those two had tired themselves out by the time Pyrrha and Jaune returned, so now they would get some alone time.

💒🍃🦋🌈💤
💒- which show would you want to live in?
OH MAN. i think the atla world would be dope. assuming i get to be a bender. (water, of course). if not, then that would be really, really lame.
star trek tos would also be dope as shit. everyone in star trek is just like. smart as FUCK. and earth is now a post scarcity utopia. so that’s nice. aos, earth gets a bit fucked so maybe not that timeline. this would be a good one.
maybe my hero academia. everyone gets a quirk. wait no. not everyone gets a quirk. oh god. what if i were quirkless. like 20% of people dont have quirks right? thatd suck. or what if im like that video thats like “and your quirk is just you have a cactus for a head.” oh god that’d be terrible. i change my mind about bnha. im not risking it for having a shit or no quirk.
maybe rwby….. everyone has a semblance and aura. the character design in rwby is/was pretty dope so id look baller. however, fighting monsters for a living. yikes. and the whole salem thing. yikes.
this is a lot harder than i thought itd be, jfc. it’s fun imagining these scenarios but then like. if i were actually to be plopped down in the middle of one of these worlds tomorrow, they would be a lot less fun. i’m trying to think of places where i’d actually be okay in and get to have fun. fantasy worlds are cool as shit but there’s like no guarantee that you’re gonna get the Special Power in that world and even if u do, that means you’re kinda fucked. i just wanna be a normal person in that world but like. be able to do cool shit.
i thought about bleach for like 3 whole seconds but then i was like. oh i’d die in approximately ten minutes. nevermind.
maybe…. billions so i can just. fuckin shoot bobby axelrod.
but yeah i guess star trek. that’d be nice.
🍃- would you rather live in a sea with mermaids or a forest with fairies?
oh ABSOLUTELY sea with mermaids. i love swimming. wait. am i still a human in this actually? ill assume yes. which. i would get pruney and cold really fast. do i get to go out and go to the grocery store for food?? do i get… blanket??? am i just cold and wet all the time……… hmm. for the fairy thing….. are they like the evil fairies you’re not supposed to tell your name? like. what kind of fairies are we talking here. this could go very poorly. and do i like. have to forage for food. i’m sorry. i’m the worst person to ask these questions because i just end up overthinking it and arriving to the worst possible conclusions. mermaids. i’ll go with mermaids.
🦋- how do you think others perceive you?
i hope they don’t!!!!!!!!
ugh. let’s see. i act pretty stupidly on purpose a lot because i think the people around me can get a kick out of it, and hey, it’s fun. i guess when people don’t realize im just doing this as a joke and think that’s actually me, that bothers me. i’ve had some people treat me like i’m stupid which i guess. act like an idiot, get treated like an idiot. but :(
but honestly i have no idea how people perceive me other than hoping they don’t. every time i try to think about it i get too uncomfortable. let’s move on.
🌈- things I find attractive in girls/guys
god anon u know im ace right……….
ive literally never bothered to sit down and consider this before…………. (is that something people do or is it just something they Know?????) so this is gonna take a long while and a lot of Thought.
brown hair!!!! that’s a definite. not really a fan of blondes. black hair is great too.
for guys, clean shaven or short stubble. dont like beards.
i guess big muscles/overly muscular people gross me out. i dont understand lusting over people like chris evans because. that’s like. too large. im freaked out a little bit.
deepish red lipstick, though that’s not like an inherent feature. i just like how red lipstick looks on people. like the kind mariah rose faith wears. she looks great.
god this is a lot of work. these past 4 points have taken 20 minutes just as a point of reference. im too ace for this……….
slightly curly/wavy hair is nice i guess.
i don’t fucking know????? god this is so much work. we’re at the 30 minute point now.
green eyes are cool.
GOD. I DONT KNOW!!!!! IVE BEEN AT THIS FOR 40 MINUTES. IM TOO ACE FOR THIS………….. i think im just gonna start listing people i think look nice from off the top of my head.
mariah rose faith as previously discussed. daniel k isaac. jameela jamil. miles luna. ray narvaez jr. charlie cox. eva noblezada. john boyega. daisy ridley. chloe bennett. iain de caestecker. ewan mcgregor. morgan siobhan green. sebastian stan. will roland. lauren lopez. telly leung. darren criss. talia suskauer. aj holmes. clark baxtresser. autumn farrell. jason tam. troy iwata. meredith stepien. chad james. natalie portman. chris colfer. marc delacruz. philipa soo. gavin free. isabelle mccalla. manny jacinto. zoe saldana. chris pine. hayley atwell. melissa fumero. zendaya. tom holland. lea michelle. katie mcgrath. colin morgan. y’all get the idea yet? half of this list is people who play my favorite characters oops
💤- date someone younger, older, or same age as you?
-2 years to +3 years from my age i guess, but thats definitely a flexible number. but also dating. 🤢people. 🤢
#not rt#teresa answers stuff#Anonymous#*just starts listing half the bmc cast* oops#this is such an unholy mix of people from my previous interests#and I'm still thinking about the what world question........#maybe I'll live in the bmc world and get a squip#long post
