i feel like dream in human aus is usually characterized as being more stoic and stern while hob is more easygoing, but i think it would be funny to have a university au where hob is the professor who's like "no work is deserving of 100%. find 27 more sources and do it again" while dream is just like "they put their dreams into it, hob �� A+! A+! A+! A+!"

#hob: you got this date wrong in the paper. c-#dream: i like all the misspelled words. really adds personality to the story. required reading for the magical "voice" headcanon and another for starstruck's signature in particular. asked by @trainerbob23 !

#did i need to do a 9 page comic for this... well who knows. i had this scene in mind for a long time and wanted to do it justice!#important moment for both of them. you can see starstruck just generating the bandee shaped mental illness in real time.#and bandee resolving to be her point of contact with waddle dees if the others can't handle it #he is after all; the strongest and the bravest and the best of them.#“what is this signature like” it's like meeting something that has a human face but you can tell it is Not Human. think: uncanny valley #it also took her quite some time to pick up her own voice. she could not speak (popstarian) on her own for a while #she does not mimic anymore though if she can help it because it tends to weird others out and she wants to avoid that!!#it's not like a fun or enjoyable impersonation; it's like a perfect recording on a device.#also i guess this is *finally* the reveal of the 'hospital' mentioned previously that folks noticed and also like... her name 😂#anyway.... thank you to everyone who voted for starstruck in that poll and has encouraged this insane self indulgence... wow.#never thought i'd get to draw stuff like this and have others look forward to it. i really hope you'll enjoy this!!!#my art #my comics #starstruck dee #bandana waddle dee #gravitational collapse

I still am so baffled by the people who claimed they shipped Rory and Jess BEFORE the Revival, but that Luke and Lorelai getting married made it "impossible" for them. Just because... Like, did you not see this situation coming somehow?! Come ON! SURELY you KNEW that this was how it was going to be FROM THE VERY BEGINNING! Like, whether you like the pairing or not, it was so obviously GOING to be LUKE in the end! Like, half the reason why the "will they/won't they?" crap with Luke and Lorelai pissed me off so much in later seasons was because I NEVER QUESTIONED that it was going to be Luke in the end! So it just felt like prolonging the inevitable for NO REASON other than dragging it out! They'd been setting it up since THE PILOT EPISODE of SEASON ONE! So for there to be self-described Literati shippers who went, "Oh, Lorelai married Luke? Hmm. Well, THAT'S a complication I didn't see coming. That changes things." just... Blows my MIND! 😂
